1st Samuel chapter 12 1st Samuel chapter 12 and if I had a title for the
message this evening it would be the righteous acts of the
Lord the righteous acts of the Lord here in 1st Samuel chapter 12
We'll begin our reading in verse 7, it says, Now therefore stand
still, that I may reason with you before the Lord of all the
righteous acts of the Lord which He did to you and to your fathers. Now in this text of Scripture,
by this time the nation of Israel, you know they had been delivered
from Egypt, they had been given the land of Canaan, by the hand
of Joseph and they had been several years, several hundred years
under the judges. And we know this as Samuel was
the last judge of Israel. He was the judge that God had
chose for Israel, but Israel at this time had rejected God
to be their king. They had rejected the judges
and they had wanted and desired to be like the other nations. They said, give me, give us a
king. And now Samuel after clearing
himself Being a righteous judge, he said in the very first part
of this, verse 1 through 5, he said, you know, I've not, I bear
you witness, I didn't do anything to you. I want you to witness
this right now. I did nothing to provoke this. I'm clear of this. I didn't take
from you. I didn't steal from you. And
they said, you're right, you didn't do anything. But we want
a king. We wanted a king. And you know
this, God gave him a king. God gave him Saul. And here in this text of Scripture,
then the Lord, by the prophet, wanted to call to mind, call
to mind to this nation who had sinned against God, call to their
mind the righteous acts. And so Samuel gathers them and
he says, you stand still a minute. You sit still and I will tell
you again of the righteous acts which the Lord did for you. And that's my desire tonight.
I want that to be the emphasis of this message, is for us to
consider the righteous acts of God. The righteous acts of God. Samuel says, I'm going to tell
you the righteous acts of the Lord. Well, the first righteous
act that I would have us tonight to consider is this, the righteous
act of salvation. That is a righteous act of the
Lord. And he says this in verse 8. This is the first thing he mentions. He said, When Jacob was come
into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the Lord, then the
Lord sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out
of Egypt, and made them to dwell in this place. Now God did deliver
Israel from Egypt. Jacob was in bondage for 400
years. The Pharaoh of Egypt oppressed
them and made them slaves. And they could, and because of
their oppression, they cried unto the Lord. He sent Moses
and Aaron. You remember he sent those ten
plagues, those ten plagues upon Egypt. But it was that last plague,
that last plague of the Passover that delivered the Israelites
from Egypt, the plague of the Passover, which was a plague
to the Egyptians, but a blessing to Israel. Passover. He delivered them by the blood
of the Passover lamb. You remember when Pharaoh, he
let them go only for a small time and then pursued after them
to the Red Sea and then God finally delivered them completely from
the hand of Pharaoh by crushing them in the waters of the Red
Sea. What a picture is, what a great picture is this of the
work of God's salvation by Jesus Christ. We by nature were like
Israel, captives to sin and Satan. We were by nature sinners condemned
to death, and yet God, by His righteous act, atoned and redeemed
us by the blood of Jesus Christ, by His dying in our stead. See then that Christ is our Passover. And He was the righteous act
of God by which we are delivered from the curse and penalty of
sin. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse
21, you know it well. For He, God, hath made Him, Christ,
to be sin for us. Who? Christ knew no sin, He fought
no sin, He did no sin. He was the righteous Son of God
in every thought, word, and deed. And even as He hung upon the
tree, you know that He was made sin for us, but He Himself, even
being made sin, did no sin. Did no sin. For what reason was He made sin
that you and I should be made the righteousness of God in Him? We should be made the righteousness
of God. He is our Passover Lamb. This
is a righteous act. I'll tell you, no one else could
do that but God. Who among men can transfer guilt? Who? Who? Can you transfer guilt? You cannot. Only God could do
this. And this was a righteous act
of God that only God could do. And He did that. He took our
sins and He imputed them to His Son and charged Him and He died
in our place. This was a righteous act. I'm
thankful for this righteous act. I'm thankful that it's not an
unjust act. Otherwise, we'd be running around
fearful. If God didn't do this in righteousness,
we should fear. But He did this in righteous
judgment. And yet, even as Israel, listen,
even after Israel was was redeemed by blood, was delivered
by blood. Yet they were still pursued by
Pharaoh. And even so, let us consider
this. We're still pursued. We're still
pursued by the enemy. And you remember how God led
them into that place. This is amazing how God led them
into that corner. He put them in that place where
the mountains were to the left, the wilderness was to the right,
Pharaoh was behind, the Red Sea before them, they had no place
to go. Isn't that where God brings all
of His elect? To that place where we got no place else to go. We
got no place else to go. And yet, because of God's grace,
because God purposed to save us, because Christ hath, by His
one offering, redeemed our sins, the sea, as it parted before
them, parts before us. The sea represents the justice
of God. And so, because of the death
of Christ, God's justice parts before us. It parts before us. And as they walked on dry ground
over to safety, even so do we now walk through on dry ground. Consider, as they were walking
through there on dry ground, they saw the safety up ahead. Do we not see heaven ahead? Do
we not see glory, heaven, in front of us? And yet we look
to either side of us and we're surrounded. Two walls of water
surround them. I tell you, I bet it was fearful.
I bet it was threatening. But you know what? Those waters
were not against them, they were for them. Pharaoh could not sneak
on either side. He only had to come from behind.
He couldn't come from anywhere else. They were a wall of protection.
Is that not what God is for us? A wall of protection round about
us. And yes, we are pursued by the
enemy. But I'll tell you this, he never
overtook Israel. And I'll tell you, Satan shall
never overtake us. He'll never overtake us. Believer, even now we are walking
through the sea by faith in Christ. And because God has justified
us, Christ has died for us, who then can separate us from the
love of God that is in Christ? Who? Consider the righteous act
of God in saving you. Who then can condemn you? And just as sure as Israel was
to inherit the land of Canaan, even so, believer, we are sure
to be saved and inherit heaven. This is a sure promise of God. He said that and made them to
dwell in this place. He made them. He promised that
they should dwell in that place and they dwelt in that place.
And God promises us, you shall dwell in heaven. Is there anything
then that should stop you from dwelling in heaven? Nothing,
my friend, nothing at all. God is faithful who promised. He is faithful who promised.
Jesus said to us, I give unto them eternal life. I'm so glad
he didn't say they married eternal life. He said, I give them eternal
life. And no man shall pluck them out
of my hand. The Apostle Peter said that we
have an inheritance, incorruptible, undefiled, that fadeth not away,
reserved in heaven for you, who are kept. Kept. I like that. I need to be kept. If God didn't keep me, I surely
couldn't keep myself. And I know this, we are kept
by the power of God. unto a salvation ready. You see,
now we're not building up this salvation, we're not storing
up this salvation. That salvation is ready. And
you know what's ready? It's ready to be revealed at
any moment. Ready to be revealed. But now notice what happened.
Look at this. After God made them dwell in
the land, Does it say they lived happily ever after? Does it say that? I know most
fairy tales, that's the way they end, isn't it? They lived happily
ever after. What a load of manure that is. Said no one ever, they lived
happily ever after. That's ridiculous. Those are
only for fairy tales. This is not what happened. Did
they Were they perfectly content there in Canaan? Were they rid
of their sin and worshiped God faithfully? Is that what happened?
No. And when they forgot the Lord
their God. They forgot God. These who were given such great
promises, these who received such great deliverances, were
still prone to such vile sins as to forget God and even serve
other gods. Look at that in verse 10. And
have served Balaam and Astaroth. False gods. False gods. Believer in Christ, and we should be honest, can we not see ourselves? How prone are we to forget God? How prone are we to forget God? We, like Israel, are prone to
forget God and His great deliverance by Jesus Christ. Sometimes we read of this nation
and we say, how in the world could they do that? Don't you
read that? You read and you think of the
great miracles that happened to them. I mean, they saw fire
coming down from heaven on Mount Sinai. They heard His voice. They saw the sea parted. They saw the chariots and dead
bodies of Pharaoh's army. They were fed in the wilderness
for 40 years. Their shoes did not wax old,
neither their clothes did rot for 40 years. They experienced
great miracles. And we say, oh my, if that was
me, I'd hush. Hush, because we have greater
things than they have. You and I have the full revelation
of God. They only had types and pictures
and shadows. How dare we condemn them? When
we ourselves have the whole volume of the book of God, and how readily
do we forget our God? How readily do we forget? I was
talking to a man, and he was reading a scripture to me, and
he said, oh, don't that remind you of our nation? I said, oh,
that reminds me of me? That don't remind me of this
nation. He was reading, they said, well,
return unto the Lord. And I said, well, that's got
to be talking about God's people. How can you ever return to some
place you've never been? The world's never been to God.
How then shall they return? He's talking to His people because
we are so prone to sin, so prone to forget our God that saved
us. And because of this, because
of our proneness to forget God, I want us to see this second
thing. The righteous act of chastisement. Not only is God's righteous act
of salvation in saving sinners by His grace and through the
blood and righteousness of Christ, but also God's righteous act,
consider, the righteous act of chastisement. It says in verse
9, And they forgot the Lord their God, and what did He do? He sold
them into the land of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazar,
into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king
of Moab, and they fought against them. You read the book of Judges
and you find that all the time. They forgot God, and God sold
them over to their enemies. He sold them over to their enemies. God chastened them. He allowed
their enemies to oppress them, to rule over them. And what was always the result
of this chastisement? Verse 10, and they cried unto
the Lord. We have sinned because we have
forsaken the Lord, and we have served Balaam and Ashtoreth.
But now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will
serve thee. And you know what? The Lord sent his judges and
delivered them out of the hand of their enemies on every side,
and they dwelt safely. And you know how often that happened?
How often did you find it? Every time. You see how faithful
God is? He chastened them, they cried,
and He delivered them. They forgot God, He chastened
them, they cried, He delivered them. They forgot God, He chastened
them, they cried, and He delivered them. Are you getting the pattern
here? Because it just happens over and over and over. And to our shame, this is often
the case of the people of God. No sooner does God deliver us
and bless us with His presence than we start to begin to lean
on our own strength, on our arm of flesh. We are so prone to
it. Have you not seen in Scripture
the link between prosperity and idolatry? Have you seen it? I
do. I found it. Matter of fact, this
is not speculation. I'll show you one place. Go to
Isaiah, chapter 2. Isaiah, chapter 2. And look at verse... I don't know if I get the right
chapter here. Well, it would be helpful if
I was in the right book. Verse 7, Their land also is full
of silver and gold, neither is there any end to their treasures. Their land is full of horses,
neither is there any end to their chariots. And notice this, their
land is also full of idols. They worship the work of their
own hands, that which their own fingers have made. When Israel,
or the saints of God, are most prosperous and content with the
riches and pleasures of the world, then are we most prone to leave
our God. This was the case with Lot, wasn't
it? Lot enjoyed the Word of the Lord. He was blessed with Abraham.
And I'll tell you, God made Lot rich because of Abraham. Abraham,
God blessed him, and because Lot was with him, he was blessed
as well. And they became, both of them,
wealthy men. But because of riches, Lot was
willing to part with God's Word. Now Lot was a man justified of
God, redeemed by the blood of Christ, yet he was rich in this
world. and his riches allured him away
from the gospel. And I'll tell you, this is true
with us, and we should recognize this. And I'm not just talking
about monetary riches. Riches of family. Isn't that
a wealth? Isn't that a currency, to be
rich in a family? That is a very wonderful pleasure
to have comfort among your kin. Pleasures of the world, pleasures
of the flesh. And yet, those things, by the
love of those things, we pierce our own selves through with many
sorrows. Therefore, let us consider then
the chastisement of our God. Go to Hebrews chapter 12. Hebrews
chapter 12, beginning at verse 5, And I like this, the apostle
begins, he says, have you forgotten? Have you forgotten? Wasn't that
Israel's crime? They had forgotten God. Have
you forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto
children? My son despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor
faint when thou art rebuked of him. For whom the Lord loveth,
he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son he receiveth. If you
endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons. For what
son is he whom the Father chasteneth not? But if you be without chastisement,
whereof all are partakers." And he's not talking about all men,
he's talking about the sons of God. All the sons of God are
partakers of chastisement. He said, if you're without it,
then are you not sons, but bastards. Bastards. Furthermore, we have
had fathers of our flesh correct us, and we gave them reverence.
Shall we not much more rather be in subjection unto the Father's
spirits and live? for they verily for a few days
chastened us after their own pleasure, but He, for our profit. You know what, God? Would you deal with you in this
way? If you had all power, would you
actually give yourself the time of day, considering how many
times a day we forsake our God and forget our God? Yet God is
patient with us, He is kind with us, and He does it not for His
benefit, but for yours. For your profit, He chastens
you. But for our profit, that we might
be partakers of His holiness. Now, no chastening for the present
time seem a joyous. I'm not going to pretend here. We know this, chastening hurts.
It hurts. It's painful to be chastened
of God. Is it not when the Word of God
pierces your soul that it is painful to you? When you have
seen your sin and your neglect of God, does it not pierce you?
Yes, it hurts. But it's needful. It's not joyous
but grievous. Nevertheless, afterward, it yieldeth
the peace of truth to righteousness unto them that are exercised
therein. Even so it is with us. May God
chasten us as He did Israel. And believer, has God chastened
you? Is God chastening you? Do you
feel His chastening hand? Don't despise that. Reverence
it. Reverence it. Has God caused the angry powers
of hell to assault your soul? Has He crossed all your fair
designs, crushed your dreams and laid you low? Good. Good. That's good. Because God
chastens who? Sons. Oh, thank God for His righteous
chastisement. His righteous act of chastisement. Praise God He chastens us whom
He loves. Why does He chasten us? The same
reason He chastened Israel, that they should cry unto Him. Isn't this always the end of
chastisement? Isn't this always how it works?
It's always been this way. I'm sure we feel as though that
God would no longer forbear with us. How often have we forgot
God and we say, surely this is it? Surely He won't do it. He
won't do it anymore. I'm sure I don't have any more
patience with myself. Surely God's patience has run
out. Surely He'll leave me. No. He
chastens His Son and corrects us so that we should not forsake
Him, but cry unto Him. Oh, don't turn. His chastening
hand is not to turn you from Him, but to turn you to Him.
Turn you to Him. And you cry unto the Lord. And
what is their experience? He saved them out of their troubles. He said, And delivered you out
of the hand of your enemies on every side, and you dwelled safely. You dwelled safely. And now then I want you to see
the greater sin of Israel here. Now they had done this for many
years, but there is something new about this sin. This sin
was different than their fathers. Their fathers were all corrected
and they turned to God. They kneeled to God, they recognized
God was their king and God was their protector, but they had
come into this this plight. In verse 12, When
you saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came
against you, you said unto me, No, but a king shall reign over
us. When the Lord your God was your
king. Instead of crying to God, they
turned to the arm of the flesh. They turned to the arm of flesh. They wanted a king other than
God. They said, we need a king we
can see. The other nations have a king. Why can't we have one?
Doesn't that sound like a pouty child? Well, they got one. Why can't I have one? That's
not fair. It's not fair. He got one. Why
can't I have one? That's what they sound like,
pouty children. What do we sound like? Well, man, that guy has
so many gifts. Look at him. I don't have all
those gifts. I want those. I want to see something. I want to see something. I want
something I can hold, something I can touch. This faith is just
not enough. Faith in Christ is not enough.
I need more. I need more. What a sin this is. God told
Israel by His word, He said, I'm your king. But they said
no. They said no. So God chastened them and gave
them by giving them what they wanted. Oh, my friends, sometimes
we should not ask God for things like this because He just might
give it to us. He just might give it to us. You know, Saul was their king,
and he was pleasant to the eyes. He was a good orator. He even
preached with the prophets. And I'll tell you, before this,
he even gave victory over these Amorites. All seemed well. So what was
wrong with this? It was wrong because it was not
God's. It was not according to God's
Word. It wasn't according to God's
Word. That was what was wrong with it. Believer, have you noticed,
I don't know if you've noticed this or not, but there's some
massive churches around us, aren't there? Man, there's some big
places full of people, full of people. These great orators,
and these claim to be preachers of the gospel of Christ. And I'll tell you, it's alluring
to our flesh. It's alluring to our flesh. Do
we not desire to have thousands come? I do. I know I do. I want the whole
city of Louisville to hear this gospel. I want them to hear of
this Christ. I want them to believe on Christ.
It's alluring to us. And I'll tell you, some have
forsaken the gospel of Jesus Christ just to be like them.
They said they got a big church. They got all this riches. That's
what I want. May God not give it to us. You
know what we'll have to do to get it? We'll have to forsake
God to get it. You know anyone can draw in the
masses and be a wealthy church. You know how to do it? Tell men
what they want to hear. That's how you do it. Just tell men how good they are. Tell men of their great potential. You tell a man he's got potential.
Man, you can be holy. You just got to work hard at
it. You tell a man that, you can draw a whole bunch of people
in. Tell a man he's good. Tell him God's trying to do something,
and you can draw them in. If you'll just let God, He'll
do all these great things for you. You have the power, God
has none, and you can draw them all in. But if we preach the
truth, If we bow to God as King, we must preach the truth. We must preach man completely
ruined and depraved. If we preach God absolutely sovereign
in salvation and providence, if we preach salvation by election,
the victorious redemption of Christ for the elect, the irresistible
power of the Holy Spirit in regeneration and preservation of the elect
through faith in Christ, We will be hated and despised by this
world. You mark it down. If God is your
King, and He is, we cannot and will not move from
His Word. If God is King, nobody else is. Isn't that right? If God is sovereign,
nobody else is. Only God is sovereign. And I'll
tell you this, we're in good company. I want you to know that.
You who bow to God as King, you're in good company. You know whose
company you're in? You're in Christ's company. You're
in Christ's company. Listen to what... Go to John
6. I want you to see this. I want you to see what he preached
is exactly what we preach. John chapter 6, verse 38. where I came down from heaven,
not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.
And this is the will of Him that sent me. Anybody want to know
what God's will is? Here it is. This is the will of Him that
sent me. And this is the Father's will which has sent me, that
of all which He hath given me. Oh, what is he preaching? Election,
is he not? All that the Father giveth me. That's what he's preaching, is
the election of the Father. All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me. And him that cometh to me I will
in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven not
to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will
which has sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should
lose nothing, but raise it up again at the last day. Oh, my friends, he is preaching
effectual grace, is he not? Is he preaching absolute, complete
redemption by Jesus Christ? He's preaching this victorious
death of Christ there. He said, I'm going to lose how
many? Nothing! Nothing. Isn't that what we preach?
I preach it every time. Christ will lose nothing. He
redeemed his elect. And I tell you, the effectual
power of the Spirit, that the Spirit of God is irresistible.
When He calls a sinner to life and faith, it's irresistible.
That's what we preach. We preach that the Spirit of
God quickens. Look at verse 44. No man can come unto Me, except
the Father which hath sent Me draw him. What is he preaching?
Depravity. Absolute and utter depravity.
That's what we preach. Go to verse 63. Verse 63, it
is the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing.
Isn't that what we preach? That the Holy Spirit quickens
whomsoever He will? It's the only way a man's born
again is quickened by the Spirit. The flesh profiteth nothing.
Isn't that what we preach? No glorying in the flesh, no
glorying to man, no change in the old nature. That's what we
preach. But only a new creature in Christ Jesus. And He said, these words that
I speak, and the words that I speak unto
you, they are spirit and they are truth. Look at that, Jesus
is talking about the necessity of preaching, isn't He? These
words that I speak, I was sent to preach the gospel, the necessity
of preaching, the Lord Jesus Christ upheld. You know, it's amazing what the
false religious people charge us with. They say, you believe
in the sovereignty of God. You believe man's saved no matter
what. Whether he hears a gospel or
not. Said no preacher ever that preach a gospel. We say no such
a thing. We know this, that the preaching
of the gospel is the means God has chosen by which He would
save His people. So we don't say anything like
that. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew
from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should
betray Him. Therefore I said to you, no man
can come unto Me, except it had been given him of the Father."
See, that's sovereignty right there. That whole message is
sovereign grace completely, absolutely, just exactly how I should preach
it every single time to you. How I try to preach it every
time to you, the same way. And I will not deviate from it.
And you know what the result is going to be? Look at this. Verse 66. From that time, many
of his disciples went back and walked with him no more. What's
going to be the result of this message? What's going to be the
result of God is King? The world will hate it because
they hate Him. And because they hate Him, they'll
hate you. So be it. God is King. God is King. And we are in good company. We
preach salvation by grace and not by works. Therefore, Paul
said, if any man preach any other gospel, let him go to hell. So we say the same thing. Let
him go to hell. Therefore, let us reverence our
King, and not be allured by the wisdom of the world. Let us boldly
proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, who is our King. And the last thing, and I'll
mention this very briefly, I know I'm running long, but I'll mention
this. I want us to see the righteousness
of Christ's intercession. His intercession. Look what happened
here. Go back to your text. In verse
16, he said, Now stand and see this great thing which the Lord
will do before your eyes. Is it not wheat harvest today?
I will call unto the Lord, and He shall send thunder and rain,
that you may perceive and see your wickedness is great, that
you have done in the sight of the Lord, and asking you a king.
So Samuel called unto the Lord, and the Lord sent thunder and
rain that day. and all the people greatly feared
the Lord and Samuel. And all the people said to Samuel,
pray for thy servants unto the Lord thy God that we die not. For we have added unto all our
sins this evil to ask us a king. Now it was only two reigns in
Israel, the former and latter reign. One was in March, the
other was in October. It was June. So it was harvest
time. It was supposed to be a time
of rejoicing. But God said, I'm going to send a violent storm
because of your sin. And they became fearful. When we forget our God and He
chastens us, it seems violent. The storm seems rough. But again,
as I've told you, that purpose, the purpose is to cry unto God. And you know what the people
did? Because of the storm, they cried unto Samuel. Why? Because Samuel was the one God
sent. Samuel was the one that spoke
for God and spoke for them to God. What a picture this is of
the Lord Jesus Christ. Where do you go when the storms
come? You go to Christ, your intercessor,
and you say, pray for me. David said it over at least twice,
Psalm 31 verse 1, plead my cause, O Lord. Psalm 119 verse 154,
plead my cause, O Lord. Now believer, we know this, we
cannot plead our own cause. Why? We're guilty. What a horrible thing it is for
a man to plead his own cause before God. Because he is staring
fiery indignation in the face. But our prayer is to a representative. Our prayer is to one who stands
between us and God. The God-man Jesus Christ. And His answer is the same as
Samuel's. Listen. Fear not. You have done all this wickedness. Yet turn not aside from following
the Lord, but serve Him with all your heart. Turn not aside,
for then shall you go after vain things, which cannot profit or
deliver, for they are vain. For the Lord will not forsake
His people. For His great name's sake. Now
when you turn unto God, you have this promise. Don't be afraid. Yes, you did sin. Do not let that turn you aside
from following your God. Don't let it bother you. Why? Because God will not forsake
you. Oh, believer, if you can grab
a hold to this. Because Christ is our surety,
because He's our surety, our fate is linked with His. You get that? Your fate is linked
with His. The only way for you and I to
go down is for Him to go down. And you see that cannot happen.
He is like Judah. He said, If I bring the lad not
to thee, let me bear the blame. If I bring not thine elect to
thee, let me bear the blame, says Christ. Therefore He will
not forsake you. He will not because He cannot
forsake Himself. Just swim around a little bit
in that. Go ahead. Backstroke in it. Enjoy yourself in it. God will
not forsake you. Ever. Ever. He will not forsake His
people. Believer, like John says, I write
unto you, little children, that you sin not. You should not sin.
You and I know that, don't we? We should not sin. But when you
sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous. And because He's our righteousness,
He will never forsake us. And listen, listen to what Samuel
said. I like this. Moreover, as for me, God forbid
that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you. When is Christ ever going to
stop interceding for you? He ever liveth to make intercession
for you. But I will teach you the good
and right way. Only fear the Lord and serve
Him in truth with all your heart. For consider how great things
He hath done for you. Consider the righteous act of
God in salvation. He hath delivered you by blood.
He hath delivered you through the waters of God's justice.
Consider God's chastening hand. Even though you forget God, He
does it to chasten you, to cause you to cry unto Him. And you
know what the result always is? He ever liveth to make intercession
for you. and He will never forsake you.
I will never, no never, no never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
This is God's message and His righteous acts to the children
of His choice. May God even comfort your souls
with this. Let's stand. We'll be dismissed
in prayer.
