to Zion shall be given, the brightest
glory earth can yield, and brighter bliss of heaven. There's no clearer, more wonderful
gospel message in this book. When you heard we were going
to look at it, I hope you... We're looking forward to it.
John chapter 8, this is my story. This is every saved sinner's
story. It's good news, glad tidings. Oh, this is a faithful saying
and worthy of all acceptation because all of us are just like
this woman. that Christ Jesus came into the
world to save sinners, guilty sinners, and that's all of it. If we do not hear this, if we
do not hear this, we'll go away condemned. If we do not take
our place with this woman, stand guilty before God, We'll go away
like the Pharisees condemned. Do not, whatever you do, do not
listen to this for someone else. We must hear Christ speak to
us. The oldest believers in here
must hear this. Many, most of these old fellas
and others, they didn't hear it. They didn't hear it. Beginning up in chapter 7, you
know, the Bible wasn't written in chapters and verses. Verse
53 says, Every man went under his own house. And verse 1, Jesus
went under the Mount of Olives. That really struck me. Everybody
went to their house, you know. Comfortable, and the Lord God,
the Lord God, Son of God, came down to this earth, left His
Father's house, His throne, where the multitude of heavenly hosts
and angels attended to Him as He sat on His throne in perfect
bliss and happiness, and came to this place, and He said He
didn't have a place to lay His head. Why? There are lots of homeless people
out there that don't do it voluntarily. Our Lord did. Everybody went
to their own house, and we do too. How much thought do we give
to our Lord coming here? Take it for granted? It says in verse 2, early in
the morning, He came again unto the temple. Again. He kept coming
back to his temple. You know what it was full of
the first time. He had to clean that temple. It was so full of
extortion and excess and money making, merchandising of soul. He had to cleanse that temple.
But there were a few. There were a few. Many are called,
but few are chosen. But there were a few that he'd
chosen. That's who he came for. And he came to his temple. And
that's where you'll find him. Early in the morning. That's
the reason we meet in the morning. It's not early enough for me.
Some of you may want to move the time up more or back. I forget. I wish they'd quit
changing the time. But I'd like to meet here about
seven. But early in the morning he came.
He slept very little and woke real early. Always about his
father's business. Always. What was that? Saving
sinners while we sleep in. But the Scripture says in Proverbs
8, verse 13, it says, They that seek me early will find me. That's
what the Lord said. Religion is a thing of convenience
for most people. Make it convenient for us. God
won't be worshipped like that. It requires sacrifice. It requires
preparation. You want to meet with the Lord?
Get up. Get up early. Be there prompt. Be there ready.
Be waiting. Be like Cornelius and his family.
You want to hear from the Lord? Cornelius said, We're all here.
We're waiting. We're waiting to hear what you
have to say. And buddy, they did. They received the Holy Spirit.
And they went out there rejoicing. He came early. You wanted to
meet Him? You come early. He came early. He sat down and taught them.
Oh, and grace poured from His lips. He sat down. This man received the sinners
and eateth with them and sits with them, sitteth with sinners
and teaches them. They'll all be taught of God.
It says in verse 2, all the people came unto Him. Christ said, All
that the Father giveth me shall come unto me, and him that cometh
to me I will in no wise cast out. He said, All be taught of
God. All my children, all my people,
all whom God chose, all that God gave me, I've come for them.
I've come to save them. I've come to teach them. I've
come to raise them to life. I've come to be their substitute,
to be their lamb. I have come to teach them who
God is and who I am, what they are. They're great in need. And
he sat down and taught them. Oh, may the Lord this morning
be seated with us in that pew with you right now, teaching
you through this earthen vessel. That's what he does. That's what
he uses. Anybody despises it, he won't be taught. He sat down and taught them.
Taught of God. And everyone that heareth and
learneth of the Father cometh unto me. Well, somebody's coming. The Lord is going to clean this
place out again, but He is waiting on somebody. Somebody is coming.
One person. Will the Lord meet for one person?
Yes, He will. Yes, He will. This is who He
came for. This is a prearranged meeting.
This is a meeting with a woman, a forlorn woman, an unfaithful
woman. This is His bride. This is His
gomer. This is the husband of his people. And he has a prearranged meeting
with this woman that he loved before the foundation of the
world. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning
of the world. And he preordained, predestinated this meeting with
this woman for her to come to where he was and hear his blessed
voice and rejoice in his salvation. Not many people heard it. But
oh, this woman did. Like the woman at the well. If
you're the woman at the well, you're this woman too. Well, they brought unto Him.
They brought. Verse 3, the scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him
a woman. Who brought her? Who brought her? Our Lord said,
No man cometh unto Me, except the Father which hath sent Me
draw them. These, I love, these scribes and Pharisees are law
men. They pride themselves in being
under the law, as keeping the law, as putting people under
the law. Previous to this, they said about the people, they said,
they don't know the law and they're cursed. Oh, John. Their own mouths condemned them,
didn't they? Paul said those that desire to be under the law
are under the curse. They're the ones that are cursed. And they thought, these people
don't know the law. They're under the curse. We know the law. We're
under the law. Ooh. They're going to find out,
all right. And they brought this woman in.
Verse 3. They brought unto him a woman. Unto him a woman. God had them
bring her. Taken in adultery. Doesn't it
say, you know, they represent the law, Brother John, and doesn't
it say the law is a schoolmaster to do what? Bring us to Christ. I'd rejoice me, but I thought
these law fellows, we're going to take her, we're going to take
her to the Lord. Good. I love the thought that
they unwillingly, unwittingly, unknowingly brought her to the
only one that could Justify her. The only one who could say the
law has no claims on her. The only one. They could have
brought her to anybody, and she'd have been stoned. But they brought
her the only one that could stone her, but wouldn't. That could
damn her, but pardoned her. Bless God, they brought her,
they brought her to her father. They brought this prodigal daughter
to her father. They brought this wayward woman,
this unfaithful wife, to her husband, who's like Hosea. God said, I've got to shout this. Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea
as a picture of pride, go marry a woman of whoredom. The whole story of Hosea is about
our unfaithfulness to Him, but His faithfulness. Great is Thy
faithfulness, O Lord, my Father. And our faithful husband, the
Lord Jesus Christ, who came to marry a hermit, came to save
publicans and sinners, came to save the unfaithful. And like
Gomer, we were unfaithful, and we still are unfaithful. But
he abideth faithful. You heard that, didn't you? Somebody
heard that. This marriage, this union of
Christ and His people depends on His faithfulness. He said,
where's the bill of your mother's divorcement? Try to find the
divorce. He said, you try to leave me, and you do. He said,
I won't let you go. I won't let you go. I'll find
you. I'll find you. And you'll sell
yourself like Gomer to sin, to this world. But I'll find you.
And I'll buy you. And I'll bring you home. And
I won't upbraid you. And I'll put you on my arm. And
when glory comes, I'll parade you down the halls of heaven
as a chaste virgin when you've never met any such thing. Now who gets the glory here?
Who does the saving here? Well, this is the story. I just
told you the whole story. They caught her in the very act,
verse 4. They said of him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery
in the very act. The very act. I thought about this, you know,
these corrupt fellas, how long did they stay and watch until
they brought her? Vile fellas. Our Lord looked
through all those fellas, and He still today looks through
people that seem to be holy people. He said, your heart is full of
corruption. He said, you're whited settlers.
That's what He said. How long did they stand there
and observe until they apprehended her? Where was the man? They're
both supposed to be stoned. Where was the man? Was it one
of their friends? Was it one of them? Oh, how quickly we condemn
others, but very loathe to condemn ourselves. Oh, how quickly we
are stoned others, but those we love and ourselves, no condemnation. And we're going to see who goes
out of here not condemned. They said she's been caught in
the act of adultery. Right in the act. Caught in the
act. Now brethren, everyone in this room is guilty. I'm telling you, you've been
caught in the act. No, not me. Hold on now. Our Lord, at the
Sermon on the Mount, said, if you look with lust on a woman,
you've committed adultery. It's just the Lord, in His restraining
grace, kept you from doing it. That's the only thing that kept
you from it. I remember my dad used to say years ago, don't
look down on David too hard. Your Bathsheba hasn't come along
yet. But in God's eyes, guilty. You've been caught in the act.
Been thinking it. Indulged in thoughts. It's just
His grace that kept them happening. Or any other sin for that matter.
All sin. All sin. Caught in the act. But
you know, in adultery it's unfaithfulness to a spouse that's particularly
bad. You know, someone that loves
you and is true to you and faithful to you. As you betray that and
go after someone else, that's bad, very painful, very hurtful. It brings great reproach upon
God, against God who gave you that faithless path. But you
know the Scriptures all the way through, all the way through,
talks about God's people, Israel, being adulterers. All the way
through, so many Scriptures. He says you're adulterers. Remember
James said you're adulterers and adulterers. Why is that?
Because he says that we go after things and people when we're
supposed to love God with all our heart. We're supposed to
be faithful to Him. We're supposed to be devoted to Him and give
our time and support to His cause and all that. would go after
other things and be more interested in other things.
Like Gomer said, her lovers gave her all these things. It was Hosea that was feeding
her and watching over her. Hosea was keeping her enemies
away. It was Hosea who was doing this
all the time while she was going after them, never giving him
a thought. How long have you gone without thinking about your
Lord? How long have you gone without talking to Him? But you
talk to other people, and you take it up with other things.
That's adultery. Well, we've been caught in the
act. We've been caught in the act.
Thou, Lord, seest me. Now, verse 5, they said, Moses,
in the law, commanded us. That such should be stoned. What
sayest thou? The law came through Moses. The
law came by Moses. But grace and truth came through
the Lord Jesus Christ. Actually, Moses didn't give that
law. He did. This is the one. This is the
lawgiver. This is the author of the law. And they said, Moses
said, here's what the law says. They're telling the Lord. Here's
what the law says. Do you know what the law says?
They don't know Him. They don't know Him. If they
knew Him, they'd have been standing right beside that woman. If they
knew who this was, and they knew the law, they'd all been standing
right there beside Him. They'd say, Lord, we're all guilty.
They'd have brought themselves to Him, not her. They'd have
presented themselves to him as guilty. They'd have been falling
at his feet right there, and you and I should right now. Don't
be thinking about somebody else, because we're all guilty. They
said, Moses and the law commanded us that such should be stoned.
This, they said, tempting him, verse
6, that they might have something to accuse him. See, these are
Satan's ministers. That's what Paul said, that Satan's
ministers have transformed themselves into angels of light, ministers
of righteousness. They appear to be holy men. They use the Scripture. Not everyone
who uses Scripture knows God or is righteous. No, no, no,
no. I'll tell you who is righteous. It's the merciful. It's the merciful. Knowing that they are guilty
too. They don't bring the law down on somebody. They'll bring
them to Christ, all right. Not to be stoned, but to be saved. They said the law saith this,
that she's to be stoned. And that's what the law said.
People desire to be under the law. No, you don't want to be
under the law. Got some pretenders, you know,
that wear the garb and all that, Amish and people like that. They
don't hear the law. Paul said, you don't hear the
law. You don't understand it. Adultery or whatever sin, you're
supposed to be stoned. That's what the law says. And Christ never did dispute
that. Christ never did say, I know it says that, but... No, no,
no. He said, I didn't come to destroy
the law. He came to fulfill it. He's the one that wrote the law,
and it's good, it's holy, it's just. Now here's what he did. Verse
6. It says, Jesus stooped down. And with his finger wrote on
the ground, as though he heard them not. He stooped down. Oh my, is there a message in
that line? He stooped down. This man came
to save sinners. The holy, high and holy one of
Israel, God, stooped down, condescending. Oh, great condescension of our
Lord. He who was high became low. He
who was rich became poor. He who was holy became sin. He stooped down to sinners. He stooped to us this morning.
Oh, how He stooped. How far He came down. It says,
with His finger He wrote on the ground. You know the only other
time it mentions in Scripture that somebody writing with a
finger? Who was it? On Mount Sinai, when
the tablets, the Ten Commandments were being written, it says God
wrote them with His finger. The same God. This is the same
one. Yesterday, today and forever.
In the next chapter they said, who are you? He said, the same
that I said in the beginning. The same one that wrote the law.
He's right now writing on the ground. Writing with His finger
on the ground. What's He writing? Well, we don't
know. There's been much conjecture
about this, much debate about this, and many things are good.
As some say, he began to write dates and names and places, little rendezvous and gatherings. extortion and excess of things
that he knew everyone in there, every thought, every deed, every
act, every place, everything everyone ever did, and began
to write things that they knew that they thought no one else
knew. Now I think Peter, when he first
found out who the Lord was, It was in that boat when they, you
know, fished all night and couldn't catch anything. And the Lord
said, cast your net over here. And they cast the net and couldn't
contain the fish that were in it. There were so many fish.
And it says, Peter dropped to his knees. He said, Lord, depart
from me, Lord. I'm a sinful man. You know what
he's saying, Rick? You know what he's saying? He
said, you know every fish in the ocean. You know every thought
in my head. You know every word I've ever
spoke. You know of every sin I've ever sinned. You know it
all. Oh, he said, all of it. Didn't he? And he began to write
on the ground these things. Some said that he wrote laws
that they who thought they knew the law didn't know or had forgotten, that they were
guilty of, that they hadn't kept. He began to write these laws. and says that as though he heard
them not. I like that, verse 6. As though
he heard them not. Oh, he hears them all right.
And they keep asking, verse 7. They continue asking him. And
he lifted up himself. He stooped down, but now he lifts
himself up. And I can see that a little bit.
I can try to imagine this. He stooped down. He's meek and
lowly. He said, take my yoke upon you and learn of me. I'm
meek and lowly and you shouldn't be. That's what you are. But
he who was high became low. Everything became nothing. He
made himself of no reputation. We don't have a reputation. We
shouldn't have trouble humbling ourselves. He had to humble himself. But then he lifts himself up
in righteous indignation, in anger and wrath at these holier-than-thou,
these law-keepers, these accusers who were guilty. More guilty
than she was. And lifts himself up as the righteous
lawgiver and looks him straight in the eye, every one of them.
Oh, he'd do that to us right now. And he says, he that is
without sin among you, let him cast the first stone there. You know, there was only one
person there. One person in that room who had the right to cast
the stone. Who's that? The only one in there without
sin among them. In the last days, he said, who
is he that convinces me of sin? Satan is the accuser of the brethren.
And he's right. It's all true that he says that. What the law
says to us, it says to everyone that's under the law, that everyone's
guilty. This woman is standing there in the midst. She's not
saying a thing. She doesn't have anything to say. She has nothing
to say for herself. And neither do we. What the law
says, it says to them under the law that every amount may be
stopped. But it's nobody. It's you. Don't blame it on anybody. It's you. You know, I thought about this.
This is the same one. who came to the first sinful
woman in the garden. The first sinner was a woman,
Eve. And he came to her in the garden.
This is Christ. The voice of God came walking in the garden.
The Word of God made flesh. And Christ came to her in the
garden and said, What has that done? And she began, you know, well,
and a serpent and Adam began to say, Woman, that you gave
me, it's your fault, really, if you hadn't. Oh my. Whose fault was it? It was her
fault. It's Adam's fault. But God. But this merciful God. You know
what He did? What's He going to do here? The
same that He did in the beginning? What's He going to do? He's the
same one. He delights to show mercy. I'll
tell you what He's going to do, Helen. He's going to cover her.
He's going to kill a lamb. He's going to shed its innocent
blood and cover that guilty woman with its skin and give her the
blessed promise. I'm going to bruise the serpent's
head. Put away your sin. You see, our Lord does not Condone
her sin. The Lord does not excuse her
sin. The law is true, is right, and
we're all guilty, and the Lord doesn't just pass it under the
rug. The Lord doesn't just sweep it aside. The Lord doesn't just
forgive it. He has to pay for it. The soul that sinneth shall
surely die, our Lord said. He will by no means clear the
guilty. Somebody's got to pay for this. God's holiness is at
stake. God's words are at stake. His
law must be kept. God's justice is at stake. How's
God going to be just and justify a guilty sinner? How is God going
to be holy and righteous and not clear the guilty and yet
let us go free? That's the question. And this
is why Christ came. This is why Christ died. This
is why God sent Christ, to be made under the law for us, to
be made under the curse He brought on that ground. Cursed is the
ground for thy sake. And He came down to this ground
to be a curse. Cursed is He that hangeth on
a tree. Cursed is he that continueth not in all things written in
the law to do them." To offend in one point is guilty, guilty,
guilty. Christ came to be made sinful. He's going to, a little while
later, He's going to go and stand before the accusers. He's going
to stand before Pilate. He's going to stand before God.
He's going to stand before Satan. He's going to stand before man
and all the sins, all the iniquity, all the charges against all of
God's people are going to be laid on Him. And He's not going
to say a word about this woman. Why? He's guilty. And then he's going to go to
that cross. And God, God is going to take his justice. The soul
that sinneth shall die. And God the Father is going to
kill him and make his soul an offering for sin. People, this
is the gospel. But he did that in the stead
of, as a substitute for, This woman standing there. This one
woman standing there. He came all the way for this
one woman to do all of that for this one woman. Why? She ain't worth it. She's not worth it. No, but worthy
is His name. That's why He's worthy. That's
why everybody in heaven, just like this woman, they know it.
They say, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive all
honor and glory and power and strength and wisdom. Oh, worthy
is the Lamb unto Him that loved us, washed us. We were unfaithful
to Him. He's so faithful to us. Unto
Him that washed us from our sins in His own blood. He wrote down, I love this thought,
John, you're going to love this. You're going to love this. Somebody
else, I hope you love this. He stooped down on the ground
and he's writing ordinances. He's writing them out, all against
this woman. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
And you know what he's doing? Locking them in. He's writing, kept! Thou shalt not, kept! Thou shalt
not, they're all, she's broken them all. Paid! That's what the Scripture said
then. He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances against us. Where
did he blot them out at? Nail them to the cross. Over
his name, over his head was written the name, Jesus of Nazareth,
King of the Jews, or something else that everybody didn't see.
Something that I see. Something that all of God's people
see. Handwriting of ordinances. against all my people, the law
that they broken kept." Painful. Sin. Pain. That's nailed to that
cross. Do you see it? Well, he stooped
down. And he began to write again. In verse 9, they that heard it,
what he said, and saw something of what he wrote, they were convicted
of their own conscience. It says they went out one by
one, beginning at the eldest. beginning at the eldest. And brothers and sisters, the
white-headed people, the gray-haired people in here, that's men. The oldest people in here are
guilty of the worst sins. Now that's a fact. After all
these years, after all the mercy and grace of God, after all that
He's done for us and we still sin against Him, we're the worst
sinners. Do you hear me? If after all these years we're
not merciful and gracious and kind and long-suffering and forbearing
and forgiving and forgetting, we have forgotten the pit from
which we were digged. We have forgotten that it's the
restraining grace of God that's kept us every day. Every day
that some mercies of the Lord were not consumed, that He doesn't
send us to hell. Right now, in our old age, it's
the mercy of God. And for us to be lifted up with
pride in older people, it's worse. It's worse. It's worse. To him
that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it's sin. And beginning at the eldest, what did they do? Oh, they didn't hear it. They
heard it, but they didn't hear it. They convicted their conscience,
but they were convinced of sin by the Holy Spirit. If they had
been, you know what they would have done? Each one of them would
have... The oldest person in there, the oldest Pharisee in
there would have ripped his garment off. Those phylacteries would
have taken them off and stood right beside that woman and said,
I'm worse than she is. Oh, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy
on this rotten, hell-deserving sinner. I'm not as good as she
is. That's right. How many people want their thoughts
this morning put on a screen right now? Anybody? We're supposed
to be worshiping God. Have your thoughts been toward
God the whole time? If you sung these songs from the heart, from
the depth of your heart, out of gratitude and appreciation,
have you? Anybody? Have your mind rolling? What
have you been thinking about? Have you been thinking about
God? As I talk about Christ crucified, have you been thinking about
Him with appreciation and grace? Have you been thinking about
the pot roast in the oven? Or somebody else? Huh? Anybody?
Guilty! But, God, the oldest, the oldest
person in here ought to be the most thankful. The oldest person
in here ought to consider this message that you're hearing this
morning the greatest privilege that I don't deserve. After all these years. And to the youngest, because
what will the law say if it says to everyone? And he was left
alone, verse 9, Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing
in the midst. He was left alone. Left alone, standing, and there
that woman stood. He'd been writing laws and ordinances
and all that, and there she stands. After all this writing of the
law and condemnation and judgment and everybody in there leaves,
they're all guilty as charged, there she stands, right beside
Him. You know what the Scripture says? If thou, Lord, shouldest mark
iniquity, who shall stand? Who shall stand
in the judgment that great day? I'll tell you. You want to know?
I'll tell you. Those that stand in Him. Those
that stand in Him complete. Those that He stood on this earth
on the latter day for them. Those that He hung on the cross
for. Those that He will stand in that latter day and say unto
them, as the Father calls their name, He will say on their behalf,
I'm here. And the Father will say unto
all those that are in Christ, come on in. All those found in
Him, come on in. All those who He died for, come
on in. Holy, unblameable, unreprovable
in God's sight. And you'll stand in the judgment
without sin. Why? Because Christ stood here. And He stood for you. And look at what he said to her.
Oh, my. He said, Woman, verse 10, he
lifted up himself and saw none but the woman. He saw none but
the woman. He had only had eyes for her. You know, I believe
she's standing there trembling. Don't you? Don't you think, Teresa?
Before he did anything, said anything, he stoned her. She knew it and she has nothing
to say. She's guilty. And I think she's standing there
trembling, sobbing. I believe she's weeping. And
the Lord doesn't hear those men. They're doing all the talking.
They're doing all the boasting, all the bragging. They're doing
all the condemning. There's one person not saying anything. It's
her. But boy, her heart's going out. Her heart is heavy. Inside
her heart, she's pleading with the Lord to have mercy upon her.
And she's standing there trembling. And our Lord said this. He said,
to this man will I look. To this woman will I look upon
in mercy, and love, and grace, and salvation, and forgiveness,
and complete and full pardon. This person I look, he that is
poor, and contrite of heart, and trembleth at my word, that
knows her guilty, and deserves wrath, she stand in her trembling. Oh, he's going to stop her trembling.
He says, Woman, Woman, That's what he said to the woman in
the garden. Woman. Said it to another woman on the
cross. Woman, behold your son. Woman, where are thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? At this point, I think she has
her head down and she looks up. And she looks around. No man, Lord. It only takes two
witnesses. It only takes two witnesses.
At the mouth of two witnesses, the thing is established. If
she could find two witnesses, just two in there, just two in
there to say, yes, she's guilty. Couldn't find one! One! Did you hear that? Not one. Not
one sand lay. Romans 8 says, Who shall lay
anything to the charge of God's elect? This was God standing
here. who drove them out, the accusers,
who met the law and kept the law. This is God who wrote it
and drove all her accusers out, who fulfilled the law for her,
who paid every crime she committed, kept that law perfectly for her,
freely justified her. This is God who wrote it. Who
shall I anything the charge of God select? This is God who justifies. Who is He that condemns? Find
somebody. Find somebody and tell them, Christ died. No, not one. Lord, no man. And this is the God-man, and
he says unto her, blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed words. They
sure were blessed to this woman. Neither do I condemn them. And only He could say in a way
that her trembling stopped. Her guilt was gone. Her shame
was turned into rejoicing. Her sadness into joy and gladness. And her drooping shoulders lifted
up. Lifted up her head that was hanging and dried the tears she
was crying. No condemnation. There is therefore
now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk
not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. He says
unto her, now listen to the next line. This is important. He said,
neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more. But what? Look at where it got you. Look
at what it cost Christ. How could you? Huh? Did she? I'm quite certain she didn't
go back and live like that. Did she ever have a problem with
it? Oh yeah, we're all going to be sinners to the day we die.
But His grace is sufficient. He said, go and sin no more.
And He that gives the command has the power. The Lord doesn't condone our
sin. He doesn't excuse our sin. He doesn't save us so we can
stay in them. Christ was manifest to put away our sin, wasn't He?
And He has to pay for them. In light of what Christ did,
that ought to make the stopping thing. In light of His faithfulness,
that's really the only deterrent and restraint to sin. It really
is. Like Joseph, he said, my Master has loved me so much,
and how could I do this thing to Him? In light of such mercy, we ought
to say, oh Lord, that I may never sin again. Please forgive my
sins. That, oh, I don't ever want to
sin again. And I know I will, but please
have mercy upon me and make me like Christ. For His glory and
honor. Okay. Brother John, if you'll
come. What's the hymn number? Number
five? Three? I forget. 127. Hallelujah. What a Savior. 127.
We'll stand as we sing it.
