As Many As Received Him

John 1:12

The false gospel of today says: 'Accept Jesus as your personal savior', ' Let Jesus into your heart', 'Let go and let God', 'Make Jesus Lord of your life.' Anyone who says those things or believes those things is lost! They do not know the true and living God and the true Christ. Receiving the Lord and His salvation is not 'accepting Him.' Nowhere in God's Word is salvation offered to the sinner to 'accept.'
Here is what it means to 'receive Him.'

That may be my favorite too,
John. Between that and there is a fountain. I'm never tired
of that. Has it ever occurred to you we're
going to be singing the same song for eternity? The song of
Moses? Same song for endless ages. You've got to know it and love
it to sing it. from the heart and not grow tired of it. We
sing these same songs, songs of Zion, over and over again,
but those who know them, love them, and never tire of them.
John 1, verse 12, As many as received
him, to them gave he the power, the right, or the privilege to
become sons of God. to them that believe on His name.
Not a more glorious passage of Scripture in all of God's Word.
Not a more mysterious, wondrous, marvelous passage. Not a more important passage. This is one of the clearest,
John 1, one of the clearest declarations
of who Jesus Christ is in all of God's Word. And yet, it's
a mystery. It's a complete mystery. Clear,
but there's a cloud over it until he removes the cloud. You can
quote this to people, and I have. I've quoted this to people who
deny who Christ is, and they just don't see it. Blind. Haven't
you? I was just going to deal with one
verse, but I read this again and again, and I thought, if
we don't get to verse 12. What glorious words these are. Verse 1, In the beginning was
the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The
Word. In the beginning was God. The
Lord places great emphasis on the Word. Here He begins with
the Word, doesn't He? Great emphasis on the Word. In
the Word, it's called The Word of Truth. In God's Word, it's
called the Word of His Power. He upholds all things by the
Word of His Power. John wrote an epistle, and he
begins it this way. We beheld Him, the Word of Life. Word. Now, he's not talking merely
about a book. Is he? Those of you who know.
I'm not merely talking about a book. A book can't create life. A book doesn't uphold life. A
book doesn't sustain our life. Provide for that. But a person
does. He's talking about verse 14.
It said the Word was made flesh. Now stay with me. The Word was
made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory." That
is, the Word made flesh. Jesus Christ. That's who he's
talking about. And it says, why does he call
Him the Word? Why does God call Jesus Christ
the Word? You know, there's a verse that
says this, He has magnified His Word above all His name. Have you ever thought about that? God has many names. It says He's
magnified His Word above all His names. And Revelation, I
didn't write it down where it is, but it says, I could look
it up real fast, but I think it's chapter 19, it says a name
written that no man knew except He Himself and to whom He reveals
it. And he goes on to say, and his
name was, no word. And nobody knows except whom
he reveals it to. Well, I believe and I'm convinced
that the reason the Lord calls his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ,
by this name is because, and we read there
where it said, no man has seen God at any time. No man had heard
God's voice. The voice in Genesis 1 says,
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And it says, And God spoke. The voice of God is Jesus Christ. He's the only one we're ever
going to hear from. God. If you hear from God, it's going
to be Jesus Christ. He says, my sheep, hear my voice. He is the hands of God. These
false preachers, these blasphemous fools say of God, He has no hands
but your hands. When the Word of God says exactly
the opposite, you don't have any hands but what He gives you. that were in His hands. Nothing
could be further from the truth. But Jesus Christ is the hands
of God. In Him dwelleth all the fullness
of the Godhead bodily. God has hands, all right, and
they have scars in them. Jesus Christ. This world says
God formed man out of the dust. Formed him. He formed him. Didn't
say God said let there be man. Said that of the stars and the
moon and all that. But He said of man, He formed him. Hands. That's Jesus Christ. The image of God, the character
of God, the ways of God, the will of God, all are known only
by Jesus Christ is the Word. And He's the only God we'll ever
hear, He's the only God we'll ever see, He's the only God we'll
ever know. To know Jesus Christ is to know God. And in the volume
of the book, why is it called the Word more than anything else? Because in the volume of the
book, Genesis 1, Revelation, it is written of Him. Right? That's why God wrote this book. He said, They are they which
testify of Me, Christ said. To know Me is to know God. He
that has seen Me, Christ said, has seen the Father. He has heard
from Me. If I say your sins are forgiven,
who can forgive sin but God? That's right. God was in Christ. Reconciliation. God was manifest
in the flesh. God became a man. Most of you
know this. Oh, how blessed you are. To know
Him, to know Christ, is to know the truth. This Word is just
a book until it comes alive. It's just words on paper until
it comes alive. By that I mean until the Word
is made flesh. Are you with me? It's just words
on paper until you see Him. And then it's all so clear in
it. Once you see Him, you see Him everywhere. Then you say, He is. He is! He
is! I am! You say, I am that I am!
You say, He is! Because in the volume of the
book it's written of Him. And when the Word is made flesh to
you, and the Word comes alive, you hear His voice, you see Him
in every life, Verse 3 says, verse 2, the same was in the
beginning with God. Why does he say that again? The
same, verse 2, the same was in the beginning. He already said
that. It was with God. He says it again. The same. Jesus Christ. The same yesterday,
back today. The same, this same Jesus, they
said, shall so come in like manner. The same. The one that we're
going to see was the same one. In the beginning. Mystery in
it. But what about a body? God gave you a body. I don't
know. I don't know. But I just know
He's the same. The same. He said, I was with
Him before the world. Proverbs 8. Before the world,
I was daily His delight. As delightful with the sons of
men. And on and on it goes. Verse 3. All things were made
by Him. By Jesus Christ. There's no doubt
who this is talking about. Let's just know that. All things
were made by Jesus Christ. Don't you love those verses in
Colossians that say, He's the image of the invisible God, the
firstborn of every creature. By Him were all things created.
They're in heaven and earth. Invisible, thrones, dominions,
principalities, powers, all things created by Him and for Him. He's
before all things. And by Him all things consist.
He's the head. Head over to who? Jesus Christ. The Head. All things by Him. Creator made by Him. This is
the first thing you understand by faith. In Hebrews 11, verse
3, it begins, it says, By faith, there's the first thing, by faith
we understand that the worlds were made fashioned by the Word
of God. Who? By Jesus Christ. By Jesus
Christ. All things made by Him. Now,
if you make everything, what does that mean? That means you're
the Creator. You're the Owner. You're the
Lord. You're the Master over it. If you make something, you
own it, don't you? Cannot I do with my own what
I will? He said, yes. And He does. We're not our own. We're bought
with pride. If you're the creator of something,
you're the controller of it. You make something. I've made
some things before. And I have them in my possession
right now. And I can do anything I please
with it. And you can't say a thing about
it. I can destroy it or I can maintain it. Right? Fine. Can't you? Does God? Hath not the potter, creator,
Power over the clay to do what He will with Him. Yes, He does
and yes, He will. Creator. You see, the Jesus Christ
of Scripture is so far different, so high above this Jesus that's
outside wanting to get in. To know this Christ is to have
eternal life. And God in creation, when you
find that out, it changes everything. When you find out who Jesus really
is, it changes everything. Like Saul of Tarsus, no more,
what am I going to do with Jesus? But this is the God in whom I
live and move and have my being. God in whose hands my breath
is. Verse 4 says, In Him was life, and the life was the light
of men. The light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended
it not. Life and light. And Him was life.
He that hath the Son hath life. That's what the Scripture said.
It doesn't matter what people have. Call it life, but it's
not life if you don't have the Son. He is life. He that hath the Son. He that
hath Christ in Him. He that hath the knowledge of
the Son, and understanding of the Son, faith in the Son, love
of the Son, all these things. deal with now. But He that hath
the Son hath life, the life of God, eternal life, spiritual
life. Light. Verse 4 and 5 says, "...in Him
was the light of men." Down in verse 9, it says, "...He is the
true light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."
Now, light is almost always used as understanding. Okay? You with me? Light is like
sight. You can't see anything without
light. If you're in a completely dark
room, you can't see anything. You will not see anything. You cannot see your face. You
can't see anything. If there's no light, a little
bit of light, you can see a little bit. The more light you have,
the more you see. Okay? He's light. He came into
a dark world full of blind people in the dark. A light came in
this world and the darkness comprehended it not. Couldn't see. Couldn't not see. God walked
here. Didn't know it. And you didn't
either. Yet you said little things like
this, oh, we've got to shine, let them see your light. Oh, man. Light and life. Understanding. Psyche. You ever
say this when you finally understand something? I see. Don't you? Oh, now I see. It's light. Understand. It's said there in
verse 9, He's the light that lighteth every man that cometh
into the world. Meaning? If anyone has any light about
anything on any subject, they got it from Jesus Christ. Right? He's called wisdom. If anybody is wise about anything,
they got it from Jesus Christ. Have you ever said this about
something that we have, some invention or something like the
wheel or fire? You wonder when that came? Ever
thought about that? Wonder where that came from?
Popcorn. Anything. Huh? Adam. The Lord Jesus Christ taught
it to happen. And He passed it down. Every bit of it. He lived 930 years. Are you going
to learn something in 930 years? You think the Lord abandoned
him? You think the Lord abandoned him completely? Oh, no. After he told him about the blood,
he had fellowship with him constantly, and the Lord taught him. He walked
with God. Enoch walked with God. Noah walked
with God. Noah lived 800, 900 years. They knew God. Who? Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. He taught them. And they'd fire. Who taught them? Christ did.
That anybody has on any subject, they got it from Him who is wisdom. If there's any wisdom in anything,
it comes from Jesus Christ. Do you hear me? That's the truth. He sounded the truth. If there's
any truth in anything, they got it from Jesus Christ. They got it from Jesus Christ.
The light. Well, He came. The light comprehended
it not, the Scripture says. And I was going to have you turn
to Psalm 19. Well, I am. Go there. Psalm 19. Go over there. And while you're
turning, let me remind you of a passage in Romans 1. Because this is all so relevant
to our day. Romans 1 says this, that the
invisible things of God from the creation of the world are
clearly seen. They are plain as a nose on your
face. clearly seen, even his eternal power and Godhead. Who's
he talking about? God. Who? Jesus Christ. When the Lord Jesus Christ came
to this earth, they saw his power and his Godhead. They saw it
clearly. They all saw it. Even his enemies said, no man
can do what you do. But they hated him. They saw
it, but they hated him. They couldn't understand it,
so what they can't understand, they reject. But He says they're without excuse,
so they didn't glorify Him. Are you hearing me? Glorified
Him not as God. Who? Have you ever thought of
that scripture, Jened, in light of Jesus Christ? I don't think
I have. They glorified Him not as God. They glorified not Jesus Christ
as God. So what did he do? Turned him
over. Okay, you're going to act like a fool. I'm going to let
you be the fool that you are. God gave him up. He changed the
truth of God into a lie. Worship man. Marry. Changed the truth of God. Who's
the truth of God? Into a lie. Changed this all-glorious
Creator who changes not into just a man like you and me. You
can't do anything unless we do that. Have you ever thought of
that? That's what that says. Now here
in Psalm 19, it says in verses 1 and following, the heavens
declare the glory of God, the firmament showeth his handiwork,
day unto day others speak, night unto night showeth knowledge.
There is no language, no speech or language, their voice, that
is day and night, is not heard. Their line, day and night, has
gone out throughout all the earth, their words, what the day and
night say, to the end of the world. Day and night he hath
set a tabernacle for the sun, which is, or who is, as a bridegroom
coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run
a race." The sun become a man to run a race. His going forth
is from the end of heaven and his circuit under the ends of
it. There's nothing hid from the heat. The power, the source,
the light, the view of, the control of, the life of the Son. Who's that talking to? The Son
of God. The Lord Jesus Christ. Alright,
go back to John 1. And I didn't mean to spend that
much time there, but my, my. My, my. It says John was sent
to bear witness of that light. If any man is sent by God, he
does one thing. If any person is a witness of
one thing, the light. The light. It says he wasn't
the light. He bore witness of the light. The sun, the moon,
the Scripture says the moon shineth not. Does anyone in here think
that the moon shines? that there's any light in the
moon. Surely no one thinks that. Stars, they're rocks. The lights you see, where's that
coming from? The sun. They don't have any
light in themselves. It's reflected. And they're all,
every one of them, every star in that sky. It's twinkling,
it's saying, the sun, the sun, the moon, the sun. I'm not the
light. The sun. The sun. Scripture talks about preachers
being stars. The seven stars, him who has
the seven stars in his hand, which are the preachers, the
angels, the preachers. A true witness bears witness
of the light. The Son. The Son. Alright? Verse
10, He was in the world, the world was made by Him, and the
world knew Him not. He came unto His own, that is,
His own creatures. I'm not talking about the Jews
necessarily, I'm talking about His creatures. His own. He owns
them. He's the Creator. He came into
this world, He made His creatures, He came to His creatures, and
His creatures received Him not. But, now here's the part, as
many as received him, as many as received him, to them, to
them gave he, gave he, he gave, to them, As many, not all, but
as many as received Him, to them He gave this right, this privilege,
this honor to become the sons of God. What did they do? Just
believed on His name. And they didn't even do that.
He gave them that. As many as received Him. All
right, here's the question. And this is the verse that struck
my attention, that I just rejoiced in thinking about and studying
about. And Kelly and I talked about this. What does it mean to receive
Jesus Christ? Have I received Him? Have you? Has man received Him? Whoever
receives Him has the right to become the sons of God. And if
I'm not careful, I could stay right there a little while. The
sons of God. When this world and time are
no more, When the spiritual kingdom of God is set up, there's a new
heaven and a new earth where He indwelleth righteousness,
peace, joy, unspeakable and full of glory. Scripture talks about
the glorious liberty of the sons of God when they're all manifest,
when time is no more, and these new creatures creating the image
of Christ, bearing the likeness of Jesus Christ, The character
of Jesus Christ comes or brought together when He gathers together
in one all things in Christ, even in Christ, I say, Paul said,
when He gathers them all together, dwelling in righteousness, dwelling
in light, dwelling in love together, dwelling in perfect peace and
harmony of which things we've never seen or heard or can't
right now speak of. Glorious liberty of the sons
of God. Eternal bliss and happiness and things that eyes have never
seen, ears haven't heard, heart hasn't yet conceived of. And so much more. It's for those who receive it. It doesn't say, if you do this,
you do that, you do this, you do that, you do this, you do
that, and if you do this, you do that, and if not, he didn't,
he didn't make, he didn't do it, he didn't do it, so he didn't,
but he didn't know, sir. Receive him. Receive him. Even believe on his name. John,
when he wrote that epistle, he said, these things have I written
unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that
you may know that you have eternal life. Not know what to do to get it,
but know that you have it, and that you may believe on the name,
more fully, more fully believe. All right, receive this, will
you? What is it to receive Him? Let
me tell you first what it is not, because this needs to be
said. All right, pay attention. I'll tell you what it is not
to receive Him. It is not to accept Him. I'm not splitting hairs here,
I'm not making a man an offender at a word, but I tell you this,
that word is not in this Bible. It is not to accept Jesus as
your personal Savior. It's not to let him into your
heart. It is not to make him Lord over
your life. This is all you hear in religion
today. False religion. It is not to let him have his
way. It's not to let go and let God.
Let God. It's not to accept him. As many as say that, as many
as say that they accepted him, that they let him, that they
allowed him to come in, they don't know God. They're lost. I'm not splitting words here. This is not doctrine, this is
truth. If you don't know this, you don't know God. Who knows
to have eternal life? It's not doctrine. When you accept something, that
means you have the power, the ability, to accept something
that's offered to you. When you accept something, it's
something that's offered to you, and you say, oh, I accept that. They offer here, will you take
this? And you say, maybe, maybe not. Okay, I accept it. No, I reject it. To accept is
to say that you have the power. to accept it or reject it. To accept something is to approve
of it or disapprove of it, reject it. To allow it, to accept something,
is to allow it. To accept something, it means
you have the power. This is not splitting hairs.
We're talking about who God is and what He does for His people,
okay? For a man and a woman to say
that of God, I accepted Him. reveals they don't know God.
Can you imagine the Creator offering Himself to a creature? Will you
accept me as your Creator? Are you kidding? Can you imagine
the putter saying to clay, if you will allow me to make you
into a pot, I sure would like to make you dead clay into a
pot if you'll let me. Clay is dead. Did he not say,
hath not the potter power over clay? This is what God reveals.
He reveals himself to you, Jesus Christ. He comes and reveals
himself like the sun shining here in darkness. I think Jesus
is like that. I think Jesus is like that. You're
blind. He hasn't revealed himself to
you, except Can you imagine the judge offering
the criminal to let him pardon him? Matt, can you imagine that? Here's a criminal standing before
him, his life is in the hands of the judge, and he said, I
sure want to pardon you if you'll let me. How foolish! Can you imagine the sun? The
sun asking the earth if it can shine. Why did He say this so much?
In the beginning was the Word, and He was life, and light, and
men, and everything is in Him. All things made by Him upholds
all things. Everything lives and moves, has
its being. Who is this? Jesus Christ. The only time in
history when Jesus Christ was put into the hands of men to
do with as they will. One time, God said, okay, I offer
Him to you." What will you do with Jesus? What did we say? What did everybody say? We did
despise Him and reject Him. All of us, every one of us. We
had the power, all right, to reject Him, but not the power
to accept Him or receive Him. He said, you will not come unto
Me that you might have life. He said, no man can come unto
Me. Except what? No man can believe except he
says, believe. Why do we labor this point? The
glory of God. The glory of Jesus Christ. The
fear of the Lord. The glory of God. Glory. Pilate said, Scripture says,
He delivered them to their will. Only time it says that in Scripture.
He delivered Him, Jesus Christ, to their will. Who delivered
Him? Who delivered Him? Him being
delivered by the determinate counsel of the Lord. You with
wicked hands have taken what you did, what God determined
for to be done. All reject Him by nature. All
despise Him by nature. All are in the darkness. All
are blind. All are dead. But now, here's what it is. As
many as received Him. As many as received Him. I meant
to bring something with me. I forgot it.
As many as received Him. I'd like to drink all this and
make it empty. I can't. You know what it means to receive? What did that glass do? What did that glass do? Who did it? Who put that water
in that glass? I did. Did I ask that glass if
it would take it? Did I say, I sure want to put
this water in there if you'll let me? Oh, don't be a fool. That's what men are, fools. And you hath He quickened who
were dead in trespasses. And if He has, you know it. If He did it, you know it. And
if He did it, He gets the glory for it. If you believe, you know
He gave you that belief. If you repent, you know He made
you repent. If you come, you know He brought
you. If you are saved, you know who
saved you. Everybody in glory is not saying,
boy, we accepted Jesus. They are not congratulating anybody. But they are glorifying the Lord
Jesus Christ. And to Him that did it all, we
are receivers, vessels of mercy. to the praise of the glory of
His praise. Isn't that it? What does it mean
to receive? It means somebody did something
to you. Somebody put something in you. He has made unto us wisdom. We were fools. He put the knowledge
of Christ in us. Righteousness. Unrighteous. Unholy. He made unto us righteousness.
Sanctification. You don't sanctify yourself. You can't separate
yourself. The Holy Spirit does that through
the preaching of the gospel. He gets the glory for it and
redemption. You don't pay for yourself. You
can't redeem yourself with corruptible things. Jesus Christ did it with
His precious blood. What does it mean to receive
Him? Boy, that just gives me hope because I know this. I didn't do anything. I still
don't do anything. Receive is to be given something.
See, and I'm out of time, but. It says in verse 13, they were
born to them that believe on his name, as many as received
him. There's not a there's not a period behind that verses.
It's colon. Means more follows which were
born, those who received him, sons of God. And the reason it
says to become the sons of God. John said this in his epistle.
Brethren, behold, now we're the sons of God. Doesn't it say that?
Now, yes we are. Just as loved as we'll ever be
loved. But it says it doth not yet appear what we shall be.
And what we shall be. To become the
sons of God, like Him. We're predestined to be in the
image of Christ, this new creature. He's there, but oh, he's bound
by this flesh, you know. But it says, where am I? Verse 13. They were born, not
of blood, not because they're a Jew, not of the will of the
flesh. Nobody decides to pray for you,
pray you in, of the will of man, your own will, but of God. Born of God. When God sent the
angel to Mary, when He was putting Christ in
Mary, He didn't ask her anything. He didn't ask her. He told her what He had already
done. Didn't He? He said, that holy thing in you.
He put it in there. And the seed, the Word. And it's
a mystery. God sends this Word. What Word?
This. What we're preaching here. This. Yes, this. And puts it
in the heart of a dead sinner and quickens them. And there's
life. There's new life. You see, a
blind man receives sight, doesn't he? A blind man receives sight.
Light. A deaf man receives ears, hearing. A dead man received life. Lazarus, how did he come forth? The Word. Christ did come forth. He wouldn't have come forth.
As many as received Him. Someone said if the Lord hadn't
called Lazarus' name, everybody in the grave would have come
forth. An unbeliever receives faith. An unrepentant person
receives repentance. A guilty man receives pardon. What can be said? Is that you? Let me close with this. John
3, over there. Very few people know these verses. John 3. I think they know what
verse 16 says, but they don't. But John 3, beginning with, and
I will close with this. This and another scripture. But
look at this. John 3, verse 27. They came to
John. And John said, A man can receive
nothing except it be given him from above. You yourselves bear witness that
I said I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him." Sent. He that hath the bride is the
bridegroom. Talking about Christ. Who has
who? The bridegroom has the bride. Christ is the head. But the friend
of the bridegroom, whoever loves the bridegroom, loves to hear
his voice, read on, he standeth and he hears him. The bridegroom
tells the friend what to do. who to go to. Rejoices greatly because of the
bridegroom's voice. This is my joy. It's fulfilled. He must increase, but I must
decrease. Read on. He that cometh from
above is above all. He that is of the earth is earthly.
Earthly. Speaketh of the earth. That's
what men do. That's what religion does. All
we can talk about is what man must do. They're blind. He that is from above is above
all. Christ, he that cometh from heaven, is above all. And what
he hath seen and heard, that is John, what I have seen and
heard, that he testifies. No, Christ. What Christ hath
seen and heard from the Father, that he testifies, and no man
will see with his testimony. Christ said, The words I speak
unto you, they are not mine, but the Father's witness. They
said, No, you bear witness of yourself. He said, If I did,
it would be true. If I did, it would be true. But
I don't. There are three that bear record
of that. Isn't it? If I did bear witness of myself,
it is true. But I don't. There are three
that bear record. The Word. The Father, the Word,
and the Holy Spirit. Read on. And it goes on to say,
they don't receive His testimony, Christ, but he that hath received
His testimony. He that hath received what Jesus
Christ hath said, all that he hath said, all that he hath done,
all that he is, hath set to his seal that God is true, that God
is in him, that is true. And isn't that what John said
in closing out his epistle? He had come and given us an understanding. that we may know Him that is
true, and we are in Him that is true. Even in His Son, Jesus
Christ. This is the true God and eternal
life. It goes on, let's say in verse
34. Him whom God has sent speaketh
the words of God. God giveth not the Spirit by
measure unto Him. Christ. The Father loveth the
Son, hath given all things into His hand. He that believeth on
the Son hath their blessing. Do you really believe on the
Son? Have you received the knowledge of the truth? Do you know who
He is? Do you know that you didn't do
anything? Do you know that you're a receiver? Huh? That even your believing
is receiving? Huh? You know that, don't you?
Your repentance you've received. Every good and perfect gift comes
from above. You know that, don't you? He
that believeth. that believeth on him hath life. He that believeth not. And here are those that say God
loves everybody. They must not believe the Word. It says the wrath of God abides
on him. Well, and I say this to those
in here who do not yet understand. to whom this all is a mystery.
Here's what Peter said, and I close with this. Peter said, This is not a fable. We didn't
make this up. He said, He came to us. We were out fishing one day.
I'm paraphrasing what he said. He said, We were out fishing
one day. My brother Andrew and I and my
cousins, James and John, were out fishing one day and we knew
about this Jesus fellow, you know, and we weren't interested. He came unto us and He spoke
to us. It was like coming out of the
grave dead and light. And He said we were eyewitnesses
of His majesty. And then we were on that mountain
and heard the Father say Him who He is. This is My beloved
Son. And He said this voice we heard, we were with Him. He said,
You would do well. Now, we have a word of prophecy.
For those that don't understand, he said, we have a word of prophecy
more sure than anything, anyone. Forever, O Lord, thy word is
written in heaven. And he said, you do well to take
heed. To listen. To hear it. Take heed. As unto a light, there's not
going to be any understanding apart from this, that shineth
in a dark place until you keep listening. Until, he said, the
day dawned. And the day start, Son, arise
in your heart. That's what I did. That's what
I did by His grace. Kept coming, kept listening,
kept hearing. And, you know, I knew the doctrine. I knew the doctrine. You could
argue it. I believed. Isaac Calvin. I believe
that. That I didn't know Jesus Christ. Until the day dawned. Until the day dawned. The Son
arose with healing in His wings. Okay. We're going to sing in
closing number 207. Yeah. Oh, happy day. And we're going
to sing this because of this verse that says, Oh, happy day
that fixed my choice. You see, God's people are willing on the
day of His power. They really don't have a choice. If they made a choice, He's the
one that fixed it. That's why we're singing it.
Number 207. Let's sing verse 1 and 3. That's all. One and three. Stay
with me.
