Let life and wisdom now embrace
the people here. Let the armies shout from his
people again. Let me always be adored here. We sing these old, old hymns
which are to this modern world old-fashioned and maybe even dull and boring
to the modern world. But we have a reason for doing
that. Scriptures itself says, seek
ye out the old paths wherein is the good way. We need to worship
God as closely as we can to the way He's been worshipped from
the beginning. And these old hymns, while they
may sound formal and I don't know, a little bit flowery
or whatever. God is not like us. Psalm 50, God said, Thou thoughtest
I was altogether such a one as thyself. We don't refer to God. We don't think of God. We don't
worship God as if he were one of us. He's so much higher than
us. deserving of words, high words. And we don't worship God in a
familiar way. We don't refer to God as we would
refer to a human being. It's much higher than that. And
so the songs that we sing, the way we conduct ourselves in worship
service, everything we do, from the way we dress, the way we
act, what we sing, should be reverential. Scripture keeps
talking about God worshiping the Lord in holiness. It has
something to do with respect and reverence and awe and fear
and so forth. God is not a man. And the world
today, the contemporary world, the modern world, talks about
contemporary worship. By that they mean we've made
worship like the modern world. And you know yourself that the
modern world is without shame. and refer to God as if they refer
to the man next door. They even refer to Him as that
man upstairs. We're not going to do that. We're
just not going to do that. God is to be feared in the assembly
of the saints and worshiped with the utmost reverence and respect.
Now, you can sing these old formal hymns. I love them. I just love them. I never grow
tired of them. But the point I'm trying to make is these Hymns are reverential, respectful,
worshipful, and that's the way we're going to do it. Someone
made the comment that we should worship the Lord in such a way
that the prophets and the apostles themselves could walk in here
and say, this is the way it should be done. The way it should be
done. Contemporary means like the modern
world. That's worldly and doesn't mean
worldly. We're not going to do that. You're
not going to do that. All right, Matthew 21. Matthew
21. Read with me verses 15 and 16
of Matthew 21. This is our text this morning,
subject. When the chief priests and scribes
saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying
in the temple, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, they were
sore displeased. And they said unto him, to Christ,
Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea,
have ye never read? out of the mouth of babes and
sucklings, thou hast perfected praise." The Lord Jesus Christ
was riding into Jerusalem, as prophesied, and the multitude,
of which there were many young children, always were, began
to cry out to him, Hosanna to the Son of David. Blessed is
he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Hosanna means, Son
of David. Oh, save us, Christ, is what
they were saying. And then the Lord went into the
temple. Rode straight up to the temple in Jerusalem and cast
out all those people that were making money and selling religious
trinkets and so forth. Cast them out. Rebuked them sharply. Scripture says He took a whip
and drove them out. And he said, you've made my house a den of
thieves, a merchandise, things for sale, not a place of worship
and praise. Does all that sound familiar? And so these religious leaders
who had a hand in the pot, they were displeased. They saw,
it says they saw the wonderful things that he did. That doesn't
mean they thought it was wonderful. Everything our Lord did was full
of wonder and amazement. They'd never seen anything like
it. That's what that meant. And these religious leaders who
were in charge of the temple, who collected probably a percentage
of the money, you know they did. Paul was a Pharisee. Saul, a
Tarsus, he said, what was gain to me, religion was great gain
to me, he said, but now it was loss, count it loss. They became
aggravated, these religious leaders. They were angry, they were upset,
so they were sorely displeased. Sorely. They were very angry. Most of all, they were angry
and upset that people were crying out to this Jesus. They just
thought he was Jesus. Who is he? He's the Jesus of
Nazareth, of Galilee, the prophet. healer, miracle worker. But the
people were saying, this is Christ, this is God with us, this is
Immanuel. People were saying, blessed is
he that comes in the name of the Lord, this is our God. That's
what they were saying about this man. And that's what made them
more angry than anything else. They were sorely displeased.
And they said to him, then that's when they said to him, do you
hear what they're saying? They came up to him. They were
standing by watching all of this go on. You know, the cowards
that they were, they were over in the corner. They weren't about
to face him when he had that whip in his hand. But finally, they came up to
him, Sam, and said, Do you hear what these people are saying?
What they're calling you? Angry looks on their face. Can't
you see their faces? And I'm just quite sure our Lord
smiled back at their angry faces. I'm just quite sure of it. There
was another time when he rejoiced, when the Pharisees didn't understand
what he was saying. And I'm quite sure he smiled
back into their angry faces and said, Yes. Yes. Have you not read? Haven't you read Psalm 8 verse
2? Out of the mouths of babes in
suckling? Have you not read? He cut them to the heart when
he said that. And he said this over and over
again. The same thing that needs to
be said to our religious generation. Don't you read God's Word? Have
you not read? They prided themselves in what
they read or memorized. They had memorized a great deal
of the Old Testament, and they prided themselves in that. And
he says, have you never read? And as I said, this same question
needs to be asked our generation. Don't you read? God hasn't changed. God of the New Testament is not
different than the God of the Old Testament. Salvation hasn't
changed. The way to worship God, that's
what I was saying in the beginning, the way to worship God hasn't
changed. God said that right before the
New Testament was written. One of the last things he said
to mankind in Malachi 3 was, I'm the Lord, I change not. The last book of the Old Testament,
he said that. To prepare us, this is the same God. And the
same thing needs to be said to our generation and its leaders. Have you not read? Do you not
read? So many Bibles today, aren't there? So few who really read
them. And you hear things like this
all the time. We know what the Bible says. Cleanliness next
to God. No, it doesn't say that. It does not say that anywhere
in the Bible. Nowhere. Well, you know what the Bible
says. And they make up all sorts of things. But it doesn't say. Have you never read? Don't you
read? So many books today, aren't there?
People read lots of religious books, and Scripture says of
the making of books, there's no end. There's no end. I contend
that it doesn't need to be one more book ever written on a religious
subject. Not one! Until people start reading
this one. So many books, but yet few read
What does Bible mean? The word Bible. It comes from the Latin word,
the Greek word, biblia, the book. Men and women don't need another
book. God wrote this. And like one old The wise preacher
said one time, he said, God's Word is the best commentary on
God's Word. We don't need another commentary
on God's Word. Another study Bible. What we need is faithful
men who will study it and preach it verse by verse, line upon
line. No one. Have you never read? That's what
he said to them. And the same thing needs to be
said to our generation. Have you never read? So many
who hold the truth. Like Romans 1 says, hold it.
They literally hold it in their hands and in their lap. But Romans
1 says they hold it in unrighteousness. That is, they use it for evil
purposes. Their own gain and so forth.
You'll see it going on all over today. Men using this as a prop
to make people think that they're religious fellows. And they're
not preaching it. Have you never read Psalm 8? How about you? Let's go over
there, okay? Let's go over there to Psalm
8 with our Lord. And listen to me, this is the
Lord Jesus Christ. This is God. This is the One
that wrote the book. What does He use when He's talking
to men? What does He do? The Word. It is written. It is written.
It is written. He keeps saying that, doesn't
He? It is written. Though everything our Lord, He chose to refer back to what
had already been written. It's good enough. Do you remember
the parable or the story of the rich man and Lazarus? Our Lord
gave that story. The rich man wanted to send Lazarus
back to his brothers who didn't believe. You remember that? He wanted to warn them to not
come where he was. And our Lord said, they have
Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them. The Word
of God. They have the Word. That's all they need. He said,
no. One rose from the dead. Not going to have any signs and
visions in one. No, sir. They've got the Word of God.
They've got the Word of God. Have you never read? This is
our Lord's answer. It's not a question, it's an
answer. It's our Lord's answer to them
who were angry over the people crying out, saying, Oh, save
us, son of David. Psalm 8, verse 1, this is how
it goes. Oh, Lord, that is Jehovah, capital
O-R-D. Jehovah, our Lord, our God, our
Lord is Jehovah. Every believer is a Jehovah's
Witness. I know there are some who go
to Doral and say they are, but they don't believe that Jesus
Christ is God. Therefore, they are not Jehovah's
Witnesses. Jehovah means God our Savior. And Thomas said to Christ Jesus,
the man, he said, Thou art my God and my Savior, my Lord and
my God. Jesus Christ is Jehovah. Anybody that denies that is anti-Christ. Too strong? That's what this
Bible says. Jehovah. Christ's name is Jehovah
Sid Kenneth. Do you know what that name means?
Jehovah Sid Kenneth. And that day his name shall be
called Jehovah Sidkenu, meaning the Lord our Righteousness."
What Lord? Jehovah, our Righteousness. Jehovah
Sidkenu. Who is your Righteousness? Who
is the Lord our Righteousness? What does Romans 10 for us? Christ is the end of the law
for Righteousness, for everyone that believes. To everyone that
believeth, Jesus Christ is Jehovah Sid Kinder. I'm a Jehovah's Witness. Oh, Jehovah, our Lord, that means
our Sovereign, the One who is our Judge, our Ruler, our Controller. Jesus Christ is not just a figurehead. We looked at this last week.
He's not a figurehead to us. Not just in name only. Not just
with the lips we say, Lord. We mean it from the heart. He
is the One whose absolute control over flies. let alone the souls of men and
women, this Lord, this God says, all souls are mine. This is the
Lord, this is the God Dan. You know, Daniel's God is God. Is He your God? This God is God. He's not trying to be God. He
won't be God of men. Let Him be God. He is God. Our
Lord is Lord. Our breath is in his hands. That's
what Daniel found out. That's what Nebuchadnezzar found
out. The Most High ruleth in the kingdom
of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. He said that four times
in one chapter. And over in Daniel 5.35, he concludes
by saying, he reigns in the armies of heaven and among the inhabitants
of the earth, and none can stay his hand. Nobody can do a thing
about I don't like that. That's the way it is. That's
who he is. He's our Lord, my God. Is this your God? My God.
Every knee will bow someday and find out that he is our Lord. He is. Oh Lord, our Lord, how
excellent, verse 1, is thy name in all the earth. The word excellent
means to excel, to go far above. How excellent, how far above
is thy name than all others. You see, let me just labor this
point a little bit more, okay? Our Jesus is far more excellent
than this other Jesus they're talking about today. Our Jesus Christ is not standing
outside anybody's heart door just in the rain hoping they'll
let Him in. Our Jesus Christ. The Christ
of Scripture is seated on a sovereign throne right now. Right now. Reigning, ruling all things under
His divine, absolute control. He's not frustrated. He's not
disappointed. He's not trying and failing,
wishing, hoping, wanting anything. He's willing, purposing, working,
directing all things. This is the Jesus Christ of the
Bible. It's far more excellent than
the gods. That's what we read there in
Psalm 69, wasn't it? 96. Our God is so far above these
little Gs, little gods. Our Jesus, they preach another
Jesus who can't save a flea. Men are preaching, and women,
another Jesus who can't save a flea. That's the way they like
Him. And everybody's going to get
sentimental come Christmas time over a little baby in their arms
whom they have control of. He's not a baby anymore. He became a baby for one reason,
and that's to die on Calvary's cross as a substitute for his
people. He's not a baby anymore. He's a king of kings. He's Lord. That means sovereign. This United States of America
doesn't have a clue what sovereignty is, doesn't have a clue what
sovereignty is. Sovereignty means one who is in absolute authority
and control. Oh Lord, our Lord, how far more
excellent is thy name. When we say God, we mean it.
When we say Lord, we mean it. When we say Jesus, we mean it. He saved his people. When we
say mediator, we mean it. God hears him on behalf of everybody
he mediates for. When we say Redeemer, John, we
mean it. He redeemed his people. He obtained redemption for his
people. How excellent is our Jesus Christ! Far more excellent than the rest
of them. You can have these gods. I don't know why people want
them anyway. I don't know why people want
a God that doesn't want things to happen, but they do anyway.
Why? A God who is a bystander in the affairs of men. What good
is He? Who Satan is having his way and
God can't do anything about it. What good is He then? I don't need a God like that.
I need someone who is stronger than my adversary, stronger than
me, one who is in absolute control of everything about me, and who
is too wise to err, who is too good to do wrong, who is too
powerful to be thwarted. I need a God, don't you? Who is God? To rest my soul,
my life, my all, my everything, my future, my eternity in His
hands. And I will rest. And come what
may, if I know God willed it, God purposed it, He knows better
than I, Father knows best, then I can rest. I can have peace. Peace. And verse 1 is not my subject,
not my text. But you see, Dan, why he said,
how excellent is thy name. in all the earth. You see, the
heavens declare the glory of God. The firmament showeth His
handiworks through all the earth. God's creation, His greatness,
His eternal power in Godhead, His work is seen throughout all
the earth, clearly seen. Only a fool says, No, God. Professing themselves to be wise,
they became fools. All these scientists and doctors
and so forth that think themselves wise, and look at this glorious
creation, and say that there wasn't someone infinitely wise
and glorious and a genius that created all this, is a fool. I don't care how many degrees
they got behind me now. An utter fool. That's what God
calls them. You know, it's His name throughout
all the earth. And He set, I love this, His
glory above the heavens. His glory, what is His greatest
glory? His chief glory. It's far above
the heavens and the firmament and the earth and the created
glory. His glory, that means who He is, who He really is.
His essential person. His attribute. Far above the
creation. David was a young man when he
wrote this, and he says this in verse 2. Now here's the text.
He says, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou
ordained strength, because of thine enemies, that thou mightest
steal the enemy and the avenger. Out of the mouth of the babe,
God Almighty, the Lord God Almighty, who has hid these things from
the wise and prudent. That's what Christ said. The
doctors, the scribes, the Pharisees, the lawyers, the religious leaders
of His day, the masters of divinity, the doctors
of divinity and all that couldn't understand a word He was saying.
Neither can anybody unless it's revealed by the Spirit of God. That's 1 Corinthians 2. But our Lord rejoiced that the
Lord hid these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed
them unto who? Babes. Even so, Father, he said,
it seems good in thy sight. He hid these things from the
self-conceited, from the self-righteous, from the proud, from the know-it-alls,
from the self-made men and women. Scribes and disputers. Paul one
time said, where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this
world? Bring them on. Hath not God made foolish? Well,
and he revealed the truth unto babes. God's the one that purposed
this. See that? He's ordained. That's
what that means. God ordained. God founded. God purposed. Ordained
means just that. He ordered it. And that's the
way it's going to be. That's the way it is. And it says, out
of the mouths of these babes he's ordained strength, purpose
strength. What is strength? What is the
strength of God? What is the power of God? Talk
about strength. What is the power? The power
of a man is in his strength, isn't it? What is the strength
or the power of God? What does Scripture say? It's called the word of his power. The word of his power. And it
goes on to say that Christ is the power of God and the wisdom
of God. Power. He's called the Word.
The strength of God. Oh, so it is. The gospel of Christ. The story of Christ. The person
of Christ. His Word. Is the power of God
unto salvation. And this strong Word will steal
the enemy. The avenger. Will steal them.
All God's enemies. Listen to me. All the enemies
of God are those who seek their own glory. That's God's enemy. Whoever seeks their own glory,
whoever promotes their own name, whoever seeks their own glory
with no flesh and glory in his presence. Let not the wise man
glory in his wisdom, the mighty man in his strength, the beautiful
woman in her beauty, this and that and the other. Let no flesh
and glory in his sight. Because what do we have we have
not received? Given to him the glory due to
his name. And so the enemy of God is everyone
that's robbing him of his glory. Who wants part of that glory.
That's an enemy of God. Everyone who glorifies man. There
are many of them standing up right now as I speak. They're
speaking and they're glorifying man. When salvation is 100% of the
Lord. And yet there are liars standing up right now glorifying
man for doing something for him, for doing something for God.
Can you imagine the foolishness? Those are God's enemies. He calls
them false prophets. They're his enemy. They're not
in it for Christ's glory because Christ is all in salvation. Jesus Christ is all. If anybody
gets any credit at all, Christ is not all. And so they are anti-Christ. Call them what they may. They're
anti-Christ. If Christ is not getting all
the glory from the choosing to the calling to the final culmination,
A-double-L, all. Christ is all. He said to His
disciple, you did not choose Me, I chose you. They said, yes,
that's right, Lord. That's right. You get all the
glory. How about you? What do you think
about what I just said? Everybody in heaven saying, Amen. unto him. Thou art worthy." Everybody
up there realizes that they are unworthy. That the only reason
they're there right now is because of him who loved them and washed
them from their sins in his own blood, who lived for them, who
died for them, who interceded for them, who reigned over them,
who provided for them, who brought them all the way to glory, like
those lost sheep. This is the best message you'll
ever hear. Right now, anyway. Because I'm giving all glory
to where it belongs. I was told to give unto the Lord
the glory, do it unto His strength. I'm a babe. The world's leaders
and so forth, I'm nothing, I'm nobody. I have no college education. I don't. It may be obvious in
my grammar or whatever. So be it. So be it. Ah boy, I'm a babe. I'm a babe. But he said, out
of the mouths of babes, there's going to be strength. Not their own strength. They're
going to talk about somebody else. I'm just a witness. I'm just a messenger. Talking about somebody else.
His strength. His power. His glory. Out of
the mouths of babes and suckling. is one who nurses, isn't it? A small, dependent child who
absolutely depends on the mother's milk and breast to sustain their
life. Where do I get my sermons? Well, it's supposed to be a message
from God, isn't it? I didn't get it from John Gill.
I didn't get it from Spurgeon. I got it from the breasts of
God. That's what Isaiah 43 says. They'll
suck on my breasts. Old and new. And be satisfied. And milk this milk, this sincere
milk of God's Word. Sucklings. I'm a suckling. How
about you? Dependent on it. I'm totally dependent on it.
Why do I use so much Scripture? Because it's my crutch. John,
it's what I lean on. It's what I back up everything
I have to say with. I lean upon it, depend on it,
totally depend on it. Totally. I'm a suckling. Totally
dependent on the milk, sincere milk, the true milk of God's
Word to build strong bones of your bones, the skeleton, the
framework, the foundation. He has ordained this strength
because of the enemy to steal the avenger. Oh, I'm out of time. Who are these babes and sucklings?
Very quickly, let me just give you a few, all right? And I'm
not going to have you turn, but just listen as I count it. Over
in Luke's Gospel, chapter 2, Christ must have the preeminence
in all things. Out of the mouths of babes and
sucklings God has ordained strength, or power, to steal the enemy
and the avenger. Over in Luke chapter 2 there
was a man whom God told he would not die until he saw God's salvation. God's power, God's strength,
God's glory. He told this man he would not
die until he saw that. That man was standing in the
temple one day, looking, seeking the Lord. Seeking God's Christ,
God's salvation, in came a young Jewish woman and had a baby in
her arms. A baby! And that man said, let
me see that. And they put that baby in his
arms. A baby. Just a baby. Oh, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, not just a baby. This
is the power of God, the strength of God, the glory of God. This
is God. Unto us a child is born, but
the Son is given. The Son, the eternal Son, who
is ever with the Father, had no beginning of days. He who
had no beginning of days, right there He is. The child of the mother is really
the everlasting Father. The mighty God. And so Simeon
said, I have seen thy salvation. I've seen thy strength, thy power,
thy glory. God was manifest in the flesh. Out of the mouth of babes. And
this babe grew up, and he became twelve years old, and he went
to the temple. He was always around the temple.
He ended up in the temple. And now he stays in the temple.
But he came to the temple as a twelve-year-old boy. He had
to. He's a priest forever. That's where he belongs in the
John. He came into the temple, a 12-year-old boy, and it said
the doctors and lawyers were astounded at him. They were amazed
at him. They were asking him questions.
These old men were asking this 12-year-old boy questions. Why? Because out of the mouth of babes. 12-year-old boy asked God, that's
right. These ordained strength, the
stillness. And later on, these old men said,
you're not yet 50 years old. Have you seen Abraham? Not 50? That's true. I'm eternal. Before Abraham was, I am. Oh yes, that babe, truly, out
of his mouth. came a two-edged sword, the strength
and power of God. David was a young man when he
wrote this, as I said. A young man, a babe. A babe. And you remember our story there
in 1 Samuel where David came before all Israel and they were
faced by that giant and David said, When everybody there was cowed
down before this, David said, before all Israel, if they're
not a cause, yes, out of the mouth of a babe came strength.
And then he went up to that Goliath who said, you little peanut. And David said, you come to me
with sword, I come to you in the name of my God. You're going
to see right now my God is God. Your head is coming off. Oh,
out of the mouth of a babe. He stilled that man, didn't he?
Forever. Who is a picture of Christ Himself
who cut the head of Satan? Satan is not alive and well on
planet earth. Where does it say that in the
Bible? It doesn't. Hannah, it says He's on a chain.
That's what the Bible says. Jude, they're reserved in everlasting
chains of darkness. Who put them in chains? Christ
did. He led captivity captive. Got Him on a chain. That's the
Christ description. David was a babe when he said
those things. Out of the mouths of babes. What about the prophets? Jeremiah
was 24 years old when God called him. In Jeremiah chapter 1, he
said, Lord, I can't speak. I'm a baby. And God said, that's just what I wanted to
hear, because that's who I use. Now God said, don't say I'm a
babe because I've made your mouth and you're going to go and you're
going to bring down strongholds. Read it for yourself. Jeremiah
was a babe. Oh, the strength and power of
God came out of his mouth, didn't it? The prophets. Oh, he told
the apostles. You know, they laid down their
coats when they stoned Stephen at a young man's feet named Saul. A young man. That young man is going to turn
the world upside down. Stand before King. Have them
out of the babes. He told young Timothy, he said,
Timothy was a young man. He said, Be strong in the Lord,
in the power of His mind. Be strong. And in the grace that's
in Christ. Be strong, Timothy. He told young
Titus, he said, Let no man despise your youth, or prove rebuke correct
with all long-suffering doctrine. Let no man despise you. We have
the mouth of babes. And all believers. We were sitting
at dinner with a couple the other night, and all of us were talking
about our inability to talk to people. We want to talk to people
about the truth, but we fumble all over it. We feel like babies
trying to say something to us. Babies try to express things
they can't. They may know what they want
to say, but they just can't get it out. And we all feel that
way. I feel that way. Babies. That's who the Lord uses. Babes.
Just tell what you've seen and heard. Tell what you know. That's
what babes do. Tell what they know. Not eloquent. Literal babes. You know, we quote
this all the time, don't we, when young children say something
profound. Isn't that when you quote it?
I do, don't you? It's quoted quite often. We hear a young child say something
profound and we quote that out of the mouth of babes and such.
Well, literally babes say things that grown-ups are either ignorant
of or ashamed to say. I'll give you a few illustrations.
And I have to use my own daughter. I'm glad she's not here. I have
to use her. She's who I heard do this. And you have stories of your
own children. and grandchildren saying things,
don't you? Well, out of the mouth of babes,
they say things profound, they say things that adults are either
ignorant of or ashamed to say. She was like three years old
one time, standing in her little bedroom. That was yesterday. But she was three years old,
standing in her bedroom. There was a terrible thunderstorm
outside. Lightning, just flashing. Thunder
rolling. She's standing in her little
window. Oh, man. She's standing in her
little window looking out that window like that. I'll never
forget it. The silhouette of her standing in that window.
She said, I see God. And what would somebody say?
Oh honey, you know you don't. The wise man doesn't see God
in anything. I'll give you another one. One time we were sitting in a
restaurant and she was about three or four years old. Two
years old. Two. We were sitting in a restaurant
and she's sitting in her high chair, you know. And we're sitting
there, Mindy and I are looking at the menu, and she's burst
out in song. She starts singing, He is Lord,
He is Lord. He is risen from the dead and
He is Lord. Every knee shall bow, every tongue
confess. Just singing it, top of her lung.
Mindy and I were going, Honey, honey. And you remember what I said?
I said, No. We're not going to say it. Every knee shall bow. Everybody
in there was hearing that babe say, every knee shall bow. We were ashamed to sing it. How the mouths of babes. I'll
give you another one. I've got a bunch. You have them
too. One time she's standing before
the TV set, Sunday morning. And I think we were waiting on
my pastor's program to come on at the time. She was about three
years old at that time. Standing in front of some fella
was on there preaching. And she's standing there watching
and listening intently. She listened a little while and
then she turned to me and said, Is he preaching the truth? Don't you wish more adults would
ask that question? Don't you wish more adults would
sit and listen to some fellow and say, are you telling me the
truth? Let's search the Scriptures and
see. Yeah, out of the mouths of babes. He's ordained straight. Our Lord
paraphrased it, didn't He? Our Lord seemed to change it,
didn't He? uh... perfected praise. And he
said that then. He can do that. It's his work,
he wrote it. But it's the same thing. Saying
the same thing. Out of the mouths of babes. And
I... I love babes in Christ. I love those young believers
and converts who are bold with the truth. Come out and say it
boldly. Perfected praise. They don't
know much. Boy, they tell what they know.
I love that. Perfected praise. See, praise
is only perfected when it really comes from the heart and sincerity
and simplicity. Praise is simple. And praise
is basically what you first started learning through worship. You know, when we grow knowledge
puffeth up. Knowledge puffeth up. We go on
to learn all sorts of doctrines. It puffeth up. And you become
too old and wise to get carried away. Our Lord said you need
to be like the children. Don't be like the children in
the marketplace. When you start popping, you need to start dancing. The Lord said, if you see the
word as little children, babies, may we hear the gospel every
time like babies, like we've never heard before. Knowledge
puffeth up, but oh my, love humbleth. Okay, what's closing hymn, by
the way? Six seventeen seventeen seventeen
number seventeen. That's a good one.
