All right, back to Revelation
22. Let's read verse 6 again. Well, let's read 6 and 7. He
said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true. And the Lord
God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants
the things which must shortly be done. Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the
sayings of the prophecy of this book. There's an old saying that
goes like this. He who does not study history
will repeat it. He who does not study history
will repeat it. In other words, if we do not
learn from the past, from men's mistakes and errors, we will
repeat those same mistakes and errors. But more importantly,
And he enhanced that a little bit. He who does not study this
book will fulfill it. That's exactly what Paul said
in Acts when he said, he said this, those that knew him not,
nor the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath
day, They have fulfilled the prophets in condemning him. You see that? Those who do not study
this book will utter the very words that the book says they
will, will do the very things which the book says they will
do. They will fulfill his prophecy.
And let me ask us, let me ask you, Do you believe that this
is God's Word? Do you believe all of it is God's
Word? The epistles are not just the
words of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God. All right? Do you believe this
book is right? Everything it says, everything,
every jot and tittle is right for you. That's what it means
to be a believer. David said this, my favorite
psalm, Psalm 119, 128, he said, I esteem all thy precepts concerning
all things to be right, to be right. And therefore, let
me ask you this, do you hate everything contrary to what God
says in his book? The world's thoughts, opinions,
which do you? Well, David went on to say in
that psalm, I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things
to be right, and therefore I hate every false way. But David said this, in another
place, he said, let God be true. No, he said this, I said in my
haste, all men are liars. All men by nature. Paul said
this in Romans 3, let God be true, and every man a liar. Can you say that? God is true. And anybody that says anything
different than what God has already said is a liar. Well, this book,
this book is increasingly being scoffed at. As time goes on in
our modern society, as our Lord tarries, for lack of a better
word, men are increasingly scoffing at and mocking this book. And this book has become the
object of ridicule, argument, debate, jokes. God's Word. And if you stand in this day
and publicly declare any precept from this book other than love,
any precept in this book You will hear the public outcry against
it. Just declare that God is just. God is holy. Men won't listen
to that. Do you declare that man is dead?
Men won't believe that. They don't like that. Away with
that. You declare what God declares all the way through, that God
chose whom he would. that God will have mercy on whom
He will, that His will will be done, and none can stop it. Away with that will be the world's
fire. You declare that Christ died
for His people, that He shouldn't have died for
anybody, but He did die for His people and He saved everyone.
Away with that. We don't like that. You declare
that Christ is Lord, Christ is head over all. Don't like that. You declare that man is the head
of the woman. Ooh, boy, you, they really don't hear that.
You declare children obey your parents. They'll say, rebel, rebel, question,
argue. Any, choose a precept from this
book. and declare it publicly, and
there'll be a public outcry against it. Isn't that right? Well, our Lord says this in verse
six, these saints, everything in this book, these
saints are faithful and they're true. I like that. He said that before,
chapter 21. These sayings are faithful. Why? Because God said them. They're faithful. God is faithful.
He's faithful to himself, to his character. And these sayings,
don't you see the character of God in this book? Well, holy,
it's just, it's clean, it's right, it's good. Don't you see the
character of the one who wrote it? It's faithful to his character,
faithful to his people, faithful to his word, faithful to his
covenant. These sayings are faithful because
God's faithful. These sayings are faithful, faithful. If you have a friend who's faithful,
that means there's someone who's certain to do what they say. They will do what they say. He
can count them. They're faithful. God's Word is faithful. He will
do. He has done and He will do what He said He would do. These
sayings are faithful. These sayings are faithful. Someone
who's faithful is someone who's consistent, who's constant, who's
always the same. It's always God's Word. He's been giving the same comfort
to God's people from the very beginning. same soul, and are
true. These sayings are faithful and
true, true because God said it. God's true. Let God be true in
every man alike. Would you believe somebody that's
never told a lie? Well, sure you would. Somebody
you thought was truthful, wouldn't you take their word at it? Scripture
says God cannot lie. He cannot. It's impossible. Just as it's impossible for the
natural man to tell the truth, it's impossible for God to lie. These things are true because
they're just. They're right. They're good.
You know, truth is always good. Young people, it's always good
to tell the truth. It is. The truth is always good.
The truth will never hurt you. The truth is always good. It's
covering things up when you get in a mess. Right? The truth is
always good. God tells the truth. And it's good. It's true to God.
It's true to man. God's Word is true. Circumstances,
it's true. It'll fit everything. It's true. You can believe it. You can count
it. Be saved. Write this down, he said in chapter
four. Write down. So they can read
it. These things are faithful and true. You can stand on the promises
of Christ our God. And look at this, verse 6, he
says, and the Lord sent his angel to show unto his servant. The
Lord God of the prophets said to him. You see how he confirms his prophets to his
apostle? Huh? His apostle, John here,
he's confirming prophets to the apostles, and he confirms us,
the apostles. You see that? For the Lord God
of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servant
the things which must shortly be done. Now, this world is taken up with angels
in this day, aren't they? You notice that? They're taken
up with angels. Religion. The wife of that fellow
in North Carolina, you know, she wrote a book on angels. What
made her an authority on angels? She's his wife, I guess. Well,
Hollywood. Hollywood's taken up with angels.
Movies, TV, right? Well, John here, thought he was
talking to an angel. Look at verse 8 and 9. I, John,
saw these things and heard them, and when I heard and seen, I
felt down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed
me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou
do it not? I am thy fellow servant of thy
brethren the prophets." This is one of the prophets. I remember our Lord saying this
one time when they questioned him about marrying, about who
would be married to who in heaven. That's when he gave that answer.
He said, You do err not knowing the scriptures, not the power
of God. He said, In heaven there are as the angels, and you can
marry or give in marriage. but as angels do. Everybody normally looks like
an angel. What's that look like? Anyone have wings? What does
it say there? Huh? I think one angel has wings. The angel has wings that which
he shall bear us upon. He who has wings, who has the
face of an eagle, the face of a man, the face of a calf, the
face of a lion. That angel, of which Exodus,
you see me digging a moment ago, I was looking for this. Just
listen as I read this. Exodus 23 says, Behold, I send
an angel before thee to keep thee in the way, to bring thee
into the place. Beware him, obey his voice, and
provoke him. My name's in it. If you obey
His voice and do all that I speak, that angel shall go before thee
and bring thee in." Who's that? That's Christ, the angel of His
mercy. But this is an angel here. This is a man that John was hearing
from. And we noted how that God's preachers are His angels. Paul said to the Galatians in
chapter 4, verse 14, in Galatians, he said, you receive me as an
angel of God. He's talking to the Galatians.
He said, you receive me as an angel of God, even as Jesus Christ
himself. He commended him. And he said
to the Thessalonians, he said, you receive me, my word, not
as the words of a man, but as it is in truth, the word of God. Hebrews 13.2 says this, listen,
Hebrews 13.2 says, Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for some
have entertained angels somewhere. You know, the letters to the
churches were addressed to who? to every single letter, seven
letters to the churches were addressed to who? To the angel
of the church at Silas of Anabia, where they see the Ephesus and
so on. Who was that? It's a man. Well, no doubt celestial beings
are in and around the earth. The Lord would open our eyes
like he did Elisha's servant, you know, we would see. Don't
you agree with us in the Lord? I made a big instance. But there
are truly angels, our angels, that behold in our Heavenly Father's
face, Christ said. I wish it was an angel. A couple of angels. Don't forget now to entertain
strangers. Don't entertain angels. I've
had a lot of angels in my home. And I was aware of it. I was aware of it. I wasn't unaware
of it. I was aware of it. Just like Abraham. An angel blessed my home. So,
uh, angels, uh, were so confused, aren't they? So confused. This
was a man that John was hearing this from. He thought it was
an angel. Why? Because of what he was telling
him. That's what he was telling them. All right? Now look at this,
look at verse 6. He says, The Lord God sent his
angel to show unto his servant the things which must shortly
be done. And incidentally, Henry Mayan
was an angel to me, an angel of mercy to this poor sinner. Yes, sir. And he said, he sent
his angels, showing to his servants the things which must shortly
be done. Must, they must. Whatever God
says must be done. It must. God said, I spoke it. I will do it. I purposed it. It has to be done. God said, no words he's going
to turn from what he's going to accomplish. Whatever God says,
very few of our words, most of our words with time fell away.
Promise keepers, there's only one. There's only one promise
keeper. Scripture says, let not thy mouth
be hasty, or utter anything over the air, but your words be few,
especially your promises and your vows. But whatever God says,
it must be done. And he said, these things must
certainly be done, all right? Four times now he repeats this
next line. Four times. Behold, I come quickly. What time? Once previous to this
and three times in this chapter. Behold, I come quickly. I come quickly. Most people, most folks are beginning
to doubt that Jesus Christ came the first time. You know, there really are. I
saw a special not long ago where they had this Jewish scholar,
a Bible scholar. This fellow was a member of,
the head of some big church organization. And he said David was a mythological
figure. He said he really wasn't looking,
David. Do you know when I see all these
people in Ohio? Do you know who quoted David more than anybody?
Christ. Look, I'll feature it as a matter
of fact. They're increasingly doubting
that Christ even came, even really existed. Everything else is thought
of as a Jewish fable. Right? Creation story. The flood? Nowhere. The exodus? The exodus of all
the Jews? Come on. King David? Well, most are beginning
to doubt, but it became the first time certainly most doubt that
there would be a second coming. Christ says, Behold. This is a biblical word. This
is a word used by God over 1,200 times in the Scripture. You don't hear anybody say that
any other way. God said it often. Behold. You know what the word means?
It means see. We use that. Barbara, we say,
when something happens, we say, see? See? God says that throughout the
script over 1,200 times to me. Behold. Lo and behold. That's the same word, Barbara,
but lo. Lo, it came to pass. See, it came to pass. Behold,
there he is. I thought of seven beholders
in Scripture. They just came to my mind. I
didn't realize there were twelve, don't you? But I thought of at
least three. Turn back to Isaiah 40. Here's
one that really came to mind. My favorite chapter. Isaiah 40. Here I was at Venus. preaching at Genghis, and Tom
Harding stood up to read the scripture, and he said, let's
open our Bible, that is a song, 86, it's my favorite song. And
he led some of his people there, and he said, you know, he said,
I say that every time I open the scripture. I said, me too. Whatever God's people are looking
at at the time, he said, that's my favorite, I love this. God blesses the message to his
people, it's the best I've ever heard. Let's move on to the next
one. Isaiah 40, our God told the prophet
to cry. What shall I cry? Verse 9, the
last line of verse 9, Behold, your God. Behold, your God. Behold, the Lord God will come
with strong hands. Behold your God. The heavens declare His glory.
Don't you behold your God. Don't you see? All right, don't
you see? See? God is this way. Wow. The heavens declare His glory.
The firmament shows His handiwork. The invisible things clearly
reveal what God is. Don't you know anything you can
say about it? See? Behold your God. Don't you behold your God in
everything? Don't you? From the greatest to the least.
See? God is. All right, now let's
see. Well, look at verse 15. Look at this. Behold, the nations
as a drop of a bucket. See? What has the history shown
us this? Mighty Rome. See? The Medes and the Persians. See? The Greeks. The Mesopotamians. The tip of a human on his shoulders.
See? Mr. Dropping the Bucket, Mason. Hitler. Last year's Nazi. See? God sent you a drop in the
bucket. Mr. Dropping the Bucket. Chapter
41. Chapter 41. Look at this. Verse 24. He's talking about
man and his thoughts and ways and his wisdom. He says in verse
24, Behold, you're nothing. You are nothing. Man, his works
have come to naught. Man's wisdom, man's works, man's
words have come to nothing. See? Don't you see? Don't you
see now all the so-called mighty men who have come have gone? All that wisdom is gone. See? The wisdom of works. The Word is going to be in the
midst of you, gentlemen. Chapter 14, verse 1, Behold,
my servant, whom I hold, he shall, he shall bring forth judgment.
He shall bring forth judgment unto the truth. Verse 4, He shall,
my faithful, be discouraged. Behold, my servant, who is this
speaking unto you? Christ. He came. See? We hope, just like
God said He would. He's here. He's here. Now, in
the end, in the last book, He says, well, I come quickly. I come quickly. Now, January the 2nd, in the year 2000, He wrote, I
will come. I can guarantee you that. You say, no man knows when he's
coming. No man knows when he's coming,
but I know when he's not coming. Yes, I'm not being facetious
or smart out of here, but because Christ said, at a time when you
think, no. And so when people think, when
they usually, you know, he's coming, no, no he's not. I can
guarantee you that. And I pretty much believe that
January 2nd will roll around and there will be a collective
sigh of relief, even amongst those who pray that I ain't nothing
too big. I guarantee you, I guarantee you, every human
being on this planet is frightened. I guarantee you that. But when the next day rolls around,
there'll be a collective worldwide sigh of relief. And then after
that, there'll be a collective worldwide cry of, see, Momma, where's the promise of
His coming? Just like Peter said, and our
Lord said, every time when you think, Momma, He made it. June 7th. What about June 7th?
I just picked the day I had. That's a good middle of the summer,
you know, sky blue, and the birds are singing, and there's people
stirring around, they're planning their trips to the beach, and
making plans here and there, and making plans to marry, and
God not in here, those thoughts are too busy for God not to come
back up. That'd be a good, It'll be a
good time. There's a time when you think
not. Think not what? Think not God. Not thinking on God. That's not in order of God. Scripture
said, the cry will come, behold the bridegroom come. So, God's people will say that. Well, believers now are described
in the Scriptures Throughout the Scriptures, believers, disciples
of Christ, sons of God, are described as those who wait on their Lord. These words are written to us.
Four times he repeats it, but, oh, you don't see. I've come quickly. It's not like,
Matthew, you didn't even say, I am coming, did you? He said,
I come. Like, as if it's, let's hear
the story. What is this? He said it. He swore to faith, I come. I come. I am coming. I come. He's here really already. Well,
sons of God, believers, are described as those who wait on the Lord.
Blessed are they that wait on the Lord," Scripture said. Job,
the oldest book in Scripture, Job says, "'Out of the days of
my appointed time will I wait, for my change to come.' I know
where I've been with it. Now, listen to what it says,
"'And so then, until then, I'll just wait.'" What does it mean
to wait? What is it that God's people
do in this thing of waiting? All right? What does it mean
to wait on the Lord? Let me tell you what it does
not mean first. It does not mean sell everything
you've got, buy you a nine milliliter pitcher and all the sub-machine
guns you can, stock up goods, find you a cave. That's right. That's what life means. Huh? No way in Scripture does God
tell us to quit the world. No way. He declared for his disciples,
he said, Father, I'm coming off a bus and it's taking me out
of here. I can't come from it. No way in Scripture does he tell
us to live as recluses in the south of here. He takes believers
out of the world. There's no purpose to the world.
The only way the Scriptures need to tell us to take up our arms,
on the contrary, it tells us to speak. And our Lord, when He gave that,
talking about in Matthew 24, as in the day of Noah, when they
shall be becoming a son of man, they shall be eating and drinking
and marrying. He's not condemning eating and
drinking. He's marrying. He didn't marry.
He did something. Didn't He? He ate. He drank. He married. The boy did. He gave the marriage. He's not
condemning those things. That's the first thing I'd ever
tell you as a man. Ecclesiastes plainly tells those who read
it, that there's a doctrine about reading. Ecclesiastes plainly
tells us that if there's nothing wrong with these things, that
they ought to get a good. Okay, what does it mean to wait? What does it mean to wait on the Lord?
Well, wait is the same word as watch. And the Scriptures says we are
to watch unto, if I can think of the next word, watch unto
prayer. Alright? Those that wait on the
Lord are those who commune with their God. You see, one you are communing
with is one you are thinking about. One you're in touch with. One you're seeking His face. Watch Him declare. You're seeking
His face, His direction, His leadership. You're seeking faith
in Him. Calling on the name. God's people
are described as those who call on the name of the Lord. That's
not a one-time thing. It's a continual thing. Calling. But watching of the prayer, David,
after the song, keeps saying, how long, how long, how long? He's waiting. David said, I'll
wait. Well, how long, now? That's how
you hasten. Remember, here, he talks about
hastening to come to Him. That's what that means. Watching
of the prayer. Communion with Him. When you constantly converse
with someone, you stay in touch. You always think you know, you're
aware of that person. And that person may not answer
you at the time, but if you're calling them in, you're in. Let
me give you an illustration. I've been riding through a lemon,
going on a couple of years now. I've never received a letter
from her. I've written dozens of letters to her. I just know,
I know she's not, she's not, she's such a simple country woman
and she feels so self-conscious that she can't, maybe she can't,
she just can't even write a book. I know that. And if I don't do it, how do
I listen? It's, I think I know. But she
doesn't answer me. But the fact is, if you do a walk-in prayer, you'll
see God's answer. You'll see Him answer you. He
would. Not always. But now, wasn't it sometimes
when, you know, people are clasped by his hands. Right? His hands, you think,
have been clasped. Well, that's what it means to
wait. Watch on the prayer. Another thing that it means to
wait on the Lord is to wait in the state of worship. But we'll
be in our mass waiting on the Lord. Worshipers are like men and women
who wait on their Lord. Remember when the Lord arose from the grave and He told
Mary, I think it was Mary, He told, you go tell my disciples
to go to Jerusalem and wait on the Lord. We just go to Jerusalem, get
together, and then wait. And our eyes are open. And that's what we do. He told me, gather together,
get together with the church in Zion, through Jerusalem, through
Israel, and welcome. I'm sure of it. His second coming will be for
those who look for him. And I would agree. This is the
cycle of all who will gather together on that mountain, watch
him lead. The angel said to him in addition,
and I'm saying he gave him at the minute, he's saying, Jesus,
child, so come in my name as you see me come. I'm where I
was going at the beginning. Listen to him. Pretty strong. I mean, he's good. But he was so kind of the right
man. They were together. You know, he preached. And he
did. I believe that. I really do. And where the evil, where the
carcassing of people took place. And that's where the evil will
come. The bad stuff in his name. I just know that stuff. That's
what it means to wait, huh? Wait in the workshop. And don't be waiting. For better
or for worse, waiting on instructions. Do you remember that story of a young boy whose father,
back in old England, years ago, true story, did business in London
and took his young son with him. went into town. And, uh, back in the days of
Bush and Bernie, you know, he, he, uh, put his son somewhere
in a, in a, a, a, a straight corner, a safe place, and told
him, son, stay here. Wait on me. I'll be back. I have
business and somewhere else. Wait there. I'll be back. And the man left the place and
went and did his business and got so busy in taking care of
it that he forgot about the boy. He died in his bunky and
proceeded all the way home and tried to get back and forgot the boy. Oh, he was mad. Can you imagine? I went around the ball, the school
field, and I found somebody. I raced back to London, and wherever
I looked, wherever I looked, that's where I went back, that's
where I told you I went. I went back, I told you I went back. And I was sitting
there, I was sitting there, and he said, well, he told me he
was going to help me. I said, all right. He said, well, Now, Lord, when I tell
you, come quickly, he said. Well, wait, he said. Wait now. To wait over life means to always
be mindful of Him. You need to wait. Don't let them know now that
that's your life. Scripture says, in all thy ways
acknowledge Him. Here's what it says. Consider Him in all things. Someone
is truly married. Philadelphia. I'm not talking
about on paper. I'm talking about someone who's
united to be one with another who has a right. They never go very long without
thinking about the other person. You can't do it any way. You can't do it. No, you can't do it. If you will,
that's why I say, be true to God. You can't take a trip without
thinking about the person, without returning to them. You can't
make a decision without thinking of, how does this affect me?
Right? You better not make a decision
without thinking of God. You don't have a choice in anything. Really. if it doesn't include them. You
understand what I'm saying? You're a truly married person.
That's the reason young people are saying, oh, well, stay quiet
now before you get married. Because you're not your own husband.
You belong to somebody else. You're not on your own anymore. You enjoy your freedom. Don't
get married. I'm just telling you the truth.
But they're not, what they're not really. It's good, it's a
bond with you and so on. But, what I'm trying to say is,
this is the way you can be true worshippers. You see, life is
ordered around Christ. Not by special. That's just the way it is. That's not the
way it ought to be. It's the way it is. I don't just ever now and then
decide to let go of the answer. Or, you know, you still want
to back my business and be gone for five, six days and... Oh,
here it is. Music. Huh? There's someone who's married
to the Lord Jesus Christ. Come on now. Nothing. Nothing. Decisions are only made in regard
to God's Word and Christ's Word. That's what it means to wait
on Him. Worship is not an option to a
child of God. And I want to ask Peter,
he says, did you go away? He says, no. Well, he's so terrible. He says, I
didn't. Just let me go. Why would you
want to do that? You're lying. It's private. If we burn it now...
Oh, but it burns. Oh, come on now. Oh, but it's
not the right story. You know what we did to the family?
Grieving isn't an option. It's about marriage. Is it? So what do you want to
do about it? I'll make you mad. I'll try to make you mad. Spurgeon
had a brief reflex. Charles Ferguson had a perfect
life, and the first day he left, he said, I can run you out if
you don't want to. And I said, I hope you don't waste me, man.
I'm going to try and run you out. I think God must be in it. You see that? That's my purpose. Let God join the Sunday, or let
God join the day. Ain't no man gonna go to Sunday. Where is that special address?
That's where you are, and I will take you. I'm gonna get to it.
I'm gonna break something down. If the Lord loves me, I'm gonna
break something down. Where is the special address? That's where you are, son. I am. It says I am. It says I am. Ah, boy. What means to wait on
the Lord means to patiently endure all that this world does and says, all the trials
that our Lord sends, has seen Him. Nothing else. Do you believe, let me just say, Do you believe that the things
that are saying are temporal? Do you have a vision? That's right, I have
a vision. He said, the things that are
saying are temporal. I thought about it. I thought about it. I thought about it. The things that are not saying
are temporal. Do you know what that means? No. Believer, no. Believer eat, drink, know, lie,
and sell. That's the word. And here's the
business. Here's where we know the book
of the Word. God is in our own flesh. What does it mean to be a believer? They did it. They did it. They think about
that now. They get back to that now. They
think it's the end of it. They think it's done. They look
at it as an anniversary of the fact. God is an anniversary of
the fact. That's what the book is saying.
And when he said here in verse 7, that's it, in that book, and
went back through these verses there, he said, Blessed is he
that keepeth the signs and the prophecies of this world. Blessed
is he that keepeth. We say that to make our own.
Keepeth the signs of the people. We're going to keep the signs
of this world. Except when you have something
very, very valuable to you. That is, keep the signs. Huh? Oh, that's right. I'm going
to pay you down, and you're going to run, and I'm going to shoot
you. Oh, my. Huh? You're going to keep the opposition in town if you're going to do
that. Huh? Oh, I love you. I love you so much. I love you. I love you. I love
you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love
you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love
you. I love you. I love you. I love
you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.
I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.
I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love
you. I love you. I love you. I love you. Well, why don't you
marry me? Well, I said, no, can I have
it? Well, can I have it? No. Well, would you accept the
child if I hand you the paper? No. Well, he says that's exactly
what's possible. Well, here I'll give you a word
about a man. That's a kind of a book, isn't
it? Huh? Huh? That's what it keeps
saying. That's what it means. It keeps saying, okay, look,
he's found his way. He's found his path. He's not
broken. Okay? And I mean, the Bible says that
was true, and you want to tell me that's not true. And in verses
8 through 10, and I'll read this part in a bit, verse 10, He says,
See, you are not the same as that which you have in heaven. Verse 11, Has this verse ever
given you trouble? It has not. He who is unjust,
let him be unjust to you. He which is guilty, let him be
guilty to you. Amen. Well, we accuse you of a bribery
in light of your description. We'll see about that. You cannot deny that, sir. By
the time you're feeling pretty similar to what you did after
Aaron, you'll find yourself in jail. The President did not know
this, sir. We are just about free. Now,
when I hear you say that again, I'm going to cry. Let me tell
you. I've heard some people request
to bow down in front of God. Now, the things that allow you
to request to bow down just in front of God, when you just bow
down in front of God, you can say that just in front of God. Can you say that? Didn't He say
that about that couple of men in the church in the field up
in the field? Didn't He say this man didn't
know just about that? Didn't He say that? Didn't He say what I call
plain motion doesn't follow plain? Didn't He say If we confess our sin and seek
health and justice, if we forgive our sin and look for the answer
to love, then we shall have a great gain in our personal future,
in the future of our lives. And he says I'm blessed. I'm blessed about
tomorrow morning. Blessed. Blessed. Blessed. In the future.
Soon. I'm blessed by the love of tomorrow. Jesus Christ. I'm going to just stay right
there. I'm not going to leave this room. I'm not joking. I'm
going to stay right there. I'm going to show you that picture
with the blood over your torso. That's my picture. If you ask me what I want now,
you will find two things. And here's the thing about it.
Here's the ironic thing about it, is that once you think they're
not guilty, they're not guilty. And once you think they've got
it covered, they can't make it. And once you can make it, they can't make it.
That's a completely different problem. Now, if he's righteous,
then he is righteous. Now, he can be righteous too,
once he makes it right. What by virtue of righteousness
which we have done in certain times, and according to time,
Christ is at the end of the line of righteousness. Abraham believed God, and it
was given unto him that what he believed. Now, he said, that
is not his, but he said to him, that as I say, righteousness. If you can say that, it's true.
It's true. It's totally true. It's absolutely true. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what it
means to be a Calvinist. It is not me that's a Baptist
himself, but who matters to me. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes
me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist.
That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's
what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what
makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what
makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes
me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist.
That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes
me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist.
That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes me a Baptist. That's what makes
me Well, behold, he says it again, verse twenty, my eyes have witnessed
it. My eyes have witnessed it. If you were one of them, if what
they have said, well, if what God said to him, That is our
reward, singular. It's a good every man according
to his work shall be. Here's your assignment. Here's
some homework. Go home and look for it. Now, there are twenty-six questions. Do you understand? Now, there
are forty. There's a reference to this.
Now, there are forty-eighteen. Do you want a question? If you want another one, I'll
give sixty-two of them. It says the same thing. This
thing is set at a good time. Good time. I was at twenty-six twelve, I
was at forty-ten, I'll give sixty-two of them. And Pete's what I always
take with me. The whole night through with
me. Well, are you waiting? No, you're not. Well, you know, that's true,
but you know, I'm glad that you're doing it. You know what I think? I'm thinking, halfway through
these last 67 years of bad work, maybe you've asked the question. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if there's past or future. And in the moment, he had a good
behavior. He was a good man. He was a good brother. That's what I would like to say. That's what I would like to say. All right, let's sing. Now, Heavenly
Father, we thank You for Your Word. Christ, we thank You for
Your Word. Your Word, the lamp of our faith,
the light of our faith, So these great treasures that you have
revealed are the treasures of reason and knowledge and God.
Now, we've got to take it in hand, as you said, now, my brother,
to have an understanding of the ways, the ways of the universe,
the words and the gospel and the history.
