shall ye also appear with him
in glory. Mortify therefore your members
which are upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection,
evil concupiscence, and covetousness which is idolatry, for which
things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. in the which ye also walked some
time when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these,
anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your
mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing
that ye have put off the old man with his deeds, and have
put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the
image of him that created him, where there is neither Greek
nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bond nor
free, but Christ is all and in all. Put on, therefore, as the
elect of God, holy and beloved, vows of mercy, kindness, humbleness
of mind, meekness, long-suffering, forbearing one another and forgiving
one another, if any man have a quarrel against any. Even as
Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things
put on charity, which is the bond of perfection. And let the
peace of God rule in your hearts to the which also you are called
in one body, and be ye thankful. And let the word of Christ dwell
in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with
grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever you do in word
or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God and the Father by Him. Our God and our Savior, our Lord
Jesus Christ, we do come and offer thanks in your name, thankful
that we have access by you and we're accepted in you. And Lord
Jesus, that's the only reason. And oh God, our Father, the only
way we can come is through him, because of him, by him, who he
is and what he did. And Lord, we thank you for the
cleansing blood. Thank you for the great grace
and abundance of mercies that you give us daily. Thank you
for you allowing us to have this blessed time together, together,
and to worship you and to bless your name and to hear the gospel
preached and to rejoice in Christ our Lord. Thank you for those
that You've caused to believe, though your sheep hear your voice,
and Lord, maybe someday, someday soon, maybe even today, there'll
be a lost sheep here that's never heard your voice, and they'll
hear your voice today, and when they hear that voice, they'll
come to you, they'll come into the sheepfold, and there they'll
be safe, there they'll be secure. And Father, we pray for those
among us who are weak and sickly and frail and bodies are weak
and we ask Lord that you'd restore them and be merciful to them,
be gracious to them. And our Father, we pray for the
lost, pray for our own children, our own grandchildren, our brothers,
sisters, people that we love that are lost, people that are
lost in this service, that don't know God, don't know Christ.
I pray that you'd be pleased to open their hearts to the truth
as it is in Christ and they'd receive the love of the truth
as it is in Christ. Forgive us of everything that's
unlike you. Have mercy, have grace, and have pity upon us.
We thank you in our Lord Jesus' name. Amen. Let's turn in our
hymnals again, please. The song number 118. 118. All
right. Turn with me back here to Colossians. And these first four verses is
what I want to deal with if I can. He said here in verse 1, If you
then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection
on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead,
and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ our life
shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory. Get my subject there in verse
3. Your life is hid with God in
Christ. A hidden life. A life that's
hid. A life that's hidden in God. Hidden with Christ in God. The safest place to hide from
God is to hide in God. If you want to hide from His
justice, hide in Him. If you want to hide from His
holy law, hide in Him. If you want to hide from your
sin, hide in Him. You want to hide from yourself
and your self-righteousness? The only place you can do it
is in Christ. Being in Christ. See, the essence of Christianity
is not a creed. And I suppose, and I've said
this before, if we had a creed, it would be Isaiah 53. If you
asked me what my creed would be, I'd say Isaiah 53. If you
asked me to put it in writing, it'd be Isaiah 53. Who hath believed
thy report? To whom hath the arm of the Lord
been revealed? He is as a root out of dry ground. There's no comeliness about him
that we should desire him, no beauty. But he was wounded for
our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, chastisement
of our peace was laid upon him. We is all like sheep going astray.
But as a shepherd led to the slaughter, he was slain. So if
you ask me what my creed is, it'd be Isaiah 53. But the essence
of Christianity is not a creed. It's not a system of doctrine.
It's not getting all your ducks in a row, as they say. Getting
all your T's crossed and all your I's dotted. It's not in
a particular mode of worship. There are people that wear robes.
There are some good preachers, good preachers that wear robes
when they preach. And it's not a particular mode
of worship. But Christianity, the essence
of it is a life. It's a life. It's a life. And
what is it? It's the life of Christ Himself.
That's what it is. He said Christ is all and in
all. And when Christ who is our life
shall appear. Your life is hidden with God
in Christ. So life, when I'm talking about
Christianity, it's life, real life. You remember when Our Lord
Jesus Christ come to raise Lazarus from the dead. Martha said, Lord,
if you'd have been here, he wouldn't have died. But I know now that
whatsoever you ask of God, he'll give it to you. And our Lord
says, Martha, your brother shall rise again. She said, I know
he'll rise again at the last day, the resurrection. And you
know what he said to her? He said, Martha, I'm the resurrection. I'm the resurrection. I'm the
resurrection. And not only am I the resurrection,
but I'm the life. If a man believes in me, he's
alive. That's what he said. He lives.
He lives because he believes in me. I'm the resurrection and
the life. And it's the real life. And I
tell you, let me go through these verses if I can here. Look at
verse three, talking about life of Christ. You are dead and your
life is hid with Christ in God. First thing about this life that
we have in Christ is the life from being dead, being dead. Now, what are we talking about
when we're talking about being dead? We're talking about being
dead in trespasses and sins. And that's how a man is dead.
When a man is dead, He's dead to God, he's dead to
Christ, he's dead to spiritual things. And he has no faith,
he has no hope, he has no life, no response to God's love, no
felt need of mercy. And that's what it was to be
dead. And this is a life from that death. Now I know, and here's
the thing about it, all of us, here's the thing, we know what
it is to somebody for their life to leave their body, and their
life leave their body, and they're dead. But he's talking here about
life from the dead. It's one thing to die and go,
but it's another thing to go from death to life. We know that
dead people can't live. We know that they don't have
the ability to live. We know that they don't have
the ability to give themselves back to life. And so when somebody's
dead, and he talks about you were dead, your life from the
dead, that means there's dead in sin. And what is it to be
dead in sin? It means that you have no ability
to respond. You have nothing in yourself
that you could do to give yourself life. And I tell you, beloved,
you cannot respond. And I don't know, preachers are
all the time trying to get people to respond. Respond. Respond. Come to the altar, raise
your hand, join the church. They'll ask them, is anybody
here a sinner? Anybody here a sinner? Anybody
here want to come to the front? Anybody here need to make a decision?
Let's just do one more verse of Just As I Am. One more verse
of Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior. Let's just do one more verse
of that. But there'll be no response. There'll be no response. And
if you can hear, listen to what I'm telling you, if you can hear
the voice of Christ today, if you can hear the voice of Christ
in the gospel, if you can hear the voice of Christ in His word,
if you can hear the voice of Christ by the Holy Spirit, that
means you got life from that death. That means you got life from
death. That's what it means. If you
can hear, if you can see Christ by faith, if you can respond
to the gospel, and your heart gets warm, and your soul gets
moved, and you respond, and you say, yes, that's true, that's
right, that's so. then you've got life from the
dead. And here's the second thing about
it. Not only is it life from the dead, but look what else
it is. It's a resurrected life. Look
back up there in verse one. If you then be risen with Christ,
risen with Christ, what does it mean to be risen with Christ?
Well, look in Ephesians. Go back over here to Ephesians
chapter two. Let's look at this together.
There's two or three things here that you'll see. You know, a
resurrected life, as I said, we were dead, now we're raised
from the dead. It's a resurrected life, it's
a new life. When our Lord Jesus said to Lazarus,
Lazarus, come forth! The scripture said he that was
dead came forth. He told the young man that was
in his casket on the way to the graveyard, I say unto thee arise,
and he rose up. Twelve-year-old girl was laying
dead in her mother and daddy's house. And our Lord Jesus Christ,
wretched, got her by the hand, and He said, Talitha, come out.
And she got up, and He said, give her something to eat. That's
resurrection. That means new life. They were
dead, now they got new life. It's a risen life. It's a resurrected
life. We know what it is to be dead,
but to be risen, to have this new life. And look what He said
here in Ephesians. 2 and verse 5, look what he says
here. This is what I'm talking about.
Even when we were dead in sins, listen to this, hath quickened
us. That word quickened means life, quickened us together. Listen to this, quickened us
together with who? With Christ. When Christ was
quickened, raised from the dead, we were quickened with him. By
grace are you saved. See, together, look at that,
and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ. Together, what Christ did, we
did. When Christ was raised, we was
raised. And it's a new life. Now we were
once dead to God, read dead to spiritual things. Now we're alive
to God through Christ. Now we're dead to the world and
we're dead to sin. I want you to look with me in
Romans six. This is another thing I want
you to see, if you will. You know this, It's resurrected
life. It's a life that we never existed
before. It's a life that comes from above. What it is, it's the life of
Christ in a man. It's Christ in you, the hope
of glory. Our Lord Jesus Christ abides in us, lives in us, and
we live by Him. We have no life apart from Him.
And when He resurrects us, it's a new life, like as He was raised
from the dead. Raised from the dead. When He
was raised from the dead, we were raised from the dead in
Him. And we're risen with Christ. When Christ rose, and when He
ascended to glory, we rose up there and went with Him, according
to the Scriptures. Now look what it says here in
Romans 6, talking about we're dead to the world and we're dead
to sin, we're dead to the law. He said here in Romans 6 and
verse 2, God forbid, how shall we that are, listen to this,
dead to sin, live any longer therein? When you're alive to
God, you're dead to sin. How do you know you're dead to
sin? Look what he said in verse six, Romans six. Knowing this
this something we know we know this he said we're not guessing
about it. We're not supposing about it
We're not hoping about it. We're not thinking about it's
not our opinion knowing this That our old man is crucified
with him. What old man an old man at an
old man at Listen to this now that the body of sin might be
destroyed all our sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we
should not serve sin. Listen to this now. For he that
is dead is freed from sin. Oh, when you're dead, you're
free from sin. Sin ain't got no more power over
you. Now watch this. Now, if we be dead with Christ
and we died with him, we believe that we shall also live with
him. knowing that Christ being raised
from the dead, he ain't gonna die no more. Death hath no more
dominion over him. For in that he died, he died
under sin once. That's what we did. But in that
he lived, now he lives unto God. Likewise, reckon you yourselves
also to be dead indeed unto sin, but listen to it, but alive unto
God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Oh my soul. And I'll tell you something,
we didn't raise ourselves up. No, no, no, we're dead to sin,
dead to the law. What is it? This life, this resurrected
life, it's the life of Christ in us. Our Lord Jesus Christ
says, because I live, you shall live also. Because I live, you
shall live also. And it's eternal life. And you
know what eternal life means? It's not how long it's going
to be. Everybody's going to, once they're brought into this
world, they're going to live eternally somewhere. Everybody's going
to live eternally. It's going to, you know, it's
going to be an eternal death or an eternal life. and when
you talk about eternal death that's going to be the quality
of their death it'll be a death that goes on and on and on and
on and on as long as time goes they'll be dying dying and never
dying they'll be weeping nailing wailing gnashing your teeth darkness
and outer darkness And then when you have eternal life, that means
that's the quality of it. It's the life of God in a man.
It's the quality of it. When we enter into, we have life
right now. We have eternal life right now. We're not going to get eternal
life. We've got eternal life. It's not something we get when
we enter into eternity. We enter into eternity with Christ
because we got the life of Christ in us now. We're not going to
get it when we die. We got it now. And that's why
it's so rejoicing when a believer goes to be with Christ because
we know that they have entered into the rest. Eternal life talks
about the quality of it. It's the life of Christ. And
oh, beloved, it's a new life. Oh, what a new life it is. I
never knew such a life existed until God gave it to me. Did
you? I didn't know we have a life like this. I didn't know anything
about a life that be raised from the dead, a life that Christ
lived in you and that you live to Christ. And we, listen, people
think Christ is the most important thing in my life. Well, he's
nothing to you then. I'm going to make Christ to be the priority
in my life. Well, He's nothing to you then.
I'm going to really dedicate my life to Jesus. You're nothing
to you then. I'm telling you, He's nothing
to you. He's your life or your death. He is your life. Christ is our life or you don't
have life. I'm living a natural life and
I'll live as long as God lets me live in this world, but the
life that I'm living right now, I live by Christ. Christ is my
life. I'm not here because I have to
be. I'm not here out of habit. I'm
not here out of duty. I'm not here because of any other
reason other than Christ being my life and I'm here because
Christ is my life. And this is where God's people
meet and where Christ is honored and glorified and every day Christ
is my life and He's your life. Who do you talk to during the
day that you don't see? Christ. Who do you call on? Christ. Who do you hope to see when you
leave this life? Christ. Who do you rest in? Christ. Who
put your sin away? Christ. Who made you accept it? Christ. Who do you have access
to the Father by? Christ. He's our life, huh? And then look back over here
in Colossians 3. Not only is it a resurrected life, but it's
a life lived on heavenly things, heavenly things. He says there
in verse one, if you then be risen with Christ, oh, we're
risen with Christ, resurrected with Christ. risen with him,
rose from the grave, rose up to heaven itself with Christ.
And he says, seek those things which are above. Set your affection
on things above. Oh my, so you know, we're looking
at heavenly things. It's a life lived on things from
another world. It's things, you know, we got
our life from above. When our Lord Jesus Christ told
Nicodemus, you must be born again. He says, you must be born from
above. That's a life that only God can
give. You know, a resurrected life,
that's a supernatural life. That's a miracle life. To be
raised from the dead, to be given life in Christ, that's an absolute
miracle. That's a supernatural act of
God. It takes a power that created
this world in order to give life to a dead sinner. It takes a
miracle. And since our life is from above,
it can only be sustained and be fed and nourished by things
from above. That's the only way. If our life
is from above and our life is Christ and Christ gave us this
life, God regenerated us, gave us this new birth, gave us this
life, then it can only be sustained, only be kept alive, only be nourished
by things that come from above. Nothing on this earth can nourish
it. It can nourish the natural body, but it can't nourish that
spiritual body. It can't nourish that spiritual
man. And you see that spiritual man, that's that man that God
brought into existence. And it has to be nourished since
it comes from above. It has to be fed from things
from above. Now, what are some of the things
that God feeds us with? What are some of the things that
sustains us? It has to come from another world.
It can't come from this world. Faith. Faith sustains us. Where do you get faith? We weren't
born with it. It ain't natural to us. Where
do you get faith? It's got to come to us from above. Lord,
I believe, but help my unbelief. Oh Lord, you know, do you ever
feel like your faith is absolutely zero? Feel like you ain't got
any at all? Huh? But why do you keep believing? Because it comes from above.
Sometimes it comes mightily strong and other times it's just just
a little drip, just a little drip. But you know what? It comes
from above. It don't come to you. It comes
from God. And what about grace? Oh, grace. He feeds us with grace. Everything
we have, God gave it to us. What in the world do we have
that we didn't receive? Everything that we possess in
this spiritual life, God gave it to us by grace. We didn't
deserve it, we didn't desire it, and yet He came and He gave
us grace. And you know, you know how often
He gives us grace? to nourish us, to feed us, to
sustain us. What would we do? What would
we do without the grace of God? What would we do without it?
We couldn't do anything. We can't believe, we can't pray,
we can't understand the scriptures, we can't go through any kind
of a trial, we can't carry a burden, we can't manifest love, we can't
manifest forgiveness, We can't manifest kindness and mercy and
grace and all these things without God sustains us by His grace. And these things come from above.
They come from above. Righteousness. Oh, He feeds us
with righteousness. I know what it's like to live
on my own. And it's a cold, dead, lifeless
thing. But oh, when Christ brought me
His righteousness and gave me His righteousness, and I stand
now before God in the righteousness of Christ, I'm fed by that righteousness
day in and day out, day in and day out. And oh, peace. He sustains us by peace. He feeds. These things come from above.
Peace. That's what he says, you know, said peace. This, this,
this, this, this, this, put on the new man, put off the old
man. How in the world is that done? How do you put off that
old man? Does that mean you take off your
coat and you put on a new one? How do you put off the old man
and put on the new one? How's that done? We can't do
it naturally. We can't do it and so if we do
that spiritually, what we're saying is that's why we despise
ourselves and loathe ourselves. We hate that old man and we want
that old man off. We want that old man dead. We
want that old man gone and we want that new man to be manifested,
that new man to come out, that new man to be shown, that new
man and we're talking about what's he like? He has vows of mercies
and kindness and humbleness of mind for bearing one another,
forgiving one another. And oh, and he gives us life,
life. And all these things has to be
sustained. Since we got life from above,
everything that we live by must come from above. Just like some
people can't live without certain medications. You take their medications
away from them, they're gonna die. They'll die. There's people
that you know live on certain medications, take them away from
them, and they won't live anymore. And then there's people that
have to live on life support for a while, and until the body
takes back over, and if you take them off that life support, they're
gone. Now listen, I'm gonna tell you
something, I live on life support. I live on life support. I live my life supported by Christ
completely and entirely. Huh? Oh, I can't live on my own. I can't live on my own. I have
to have support. I have to have life, and I have
to be supported in this life. I can't live on my own. We live
on Christ, our life from above, and oh, we need so many things
to live. So many things to live. We need
dress. Christ dresses us. We need food. Christ is our bread. We need
water. Christ is our life. We need light,
Christ is the Son of Righteousness. We need rain, and Christ waters
us. Everything we need, Christ has
made that to us. Christ has made that to us. And
then he said, set your affection on things above. On things above. What does it mean, set your affection?
That word affection means mind or heart. things above. You know, you know the one of
the first, the first, you know, we have what you call spiritual
arithmetic. Spiritual arithmetic. And here's
the first, number one thing in spiritual arithmetic. Our Lord
said this, seek ye first, seek ye first. That's the first thing. Seek ye first the kingdom of
God and His righteousness. And then everything else will
come. Everything else will come. He says, He said, your heart,
you know, keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it,
out of your heart, are the issues of life. And I tell you, beloved,
we walk after the Spirit, and so we set our affection, our
affection is on Christ, our love is on Christ. Marlene was playing
that before, you know, I need thee, oh, I need thee, every
hour I need thee. Oh Most Holy One, I need Thee. Oh how I need Thee. Every hour
I need Thee. Oh bless me now my Savior. I
need Thee. I need Thee. And you know, because
we have our affection, our heart set on things above, that's why
we want to go. You know, that's why we want
to go home. This world's not our home. It's not our home.
And then look at what else it is. Not only is it a life lived
on heavenly things, but it's a substitutionary life. Look
what he says in verse 4. Christ our life, or Christ, when
Christ who is our life, Christ our life, is a substitutionary
life. It was a life that was lived
for somebody else. When our Lord Jesus Christ lived
on this earth, He lived for somebody else. And even now, He lives
for other people. You know who He lives for now?
He lives for those whom He died. He lives for those whom He intercedes
for. But Christ our life, He lived
for us actively, actively obeying God's holy law. Every step our
Savior took, every word He said, every deed He did, everywhere
He went, He did it in active obedience. My Father, I come
to do His will, not mine. I come to honor my Father, not
me. To glorify my Father, not me.
To say what He has to say, not what I have to say. he come to
do everything and he obeyed actively obeyed God's law and when we
talk about God's law we're talking about moral law, ceremonial law,
civil law, holy law, ten commandments take any kind of law you want
to Our Lord obeyed it. He obeyed it. Absolutely. Perfectly. Even when He healed
that leper, He told that leper, He says, you go and show yourself
to the priest. Why? Because I want the law to
look at you and the priest look at you and pronounce you clean. And God, we can go to the law
right now. Everybody makes such a big deal
out of the Ten Commandments. I'm telling you, if everybody
ever finds out that they have missed those by 10,000 miles,
they'll quit worrying about them putting them on their walls.
But here's the thing about it. Our Lord Jesus Christ, He actively
obeyed every single law that God had. Every single one of
them. And you know what? When he did,
we did. Christ is the end, the goal,
and the law for righteousness, not to somebody that does, but
he that believes. And he lived actively. Everything
he did, he did for somebody else. And then when he died, he died
under that same law and the curse of that same law. Whose curse
did he have to bear? Our curse. Whose death did He
have to die? Our death. Whose sin was put
away? Our sin was put away. And when
Christ died to put our sin away, what He did is the first and
foremost thing, and this is what, you've heard this so many times,
but the first thing that God Christ did is His sole purpose
was first to satisfy God. Nobody can be saved until God
himself is satisfied till God is pleased with him His justice
is satisfied because he said the soul that sinneth it must
die So Christ when he took our sin upon him if he wouldn't if
he didn't have sin Charged to him and put on his account. Well,
he wouldn't have died. But why did he die? Not for his
own sin But for the sins of those that were laid upon him The sins
of all of God's elect from the creation until the last man that
saved. All the sins of God's people
met on Christ. Every sin, every sin that I would
ever commit before I was ever, every sin that I'd commit from
the day I was born out of sin till the day I die. Every single
one of them. Christ bore them all. Christ bore them all. And now justice says, I can't
do anything to Donny Bell. His sins have been paid for.
He's died to sin. He's dead to sin. I can't go
after him. Why not? Because justice has
been satisfied in the death of Christ. And if he paid for my
sin, justice would not let God come and make me pay for my sin
too. And now, beloved, He lives for us and gives us life and
everything that flows from it. That's what Paul meant when he
says, I'm crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not
I live, but Christ liveth in me. And the life I now live in
the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved
me and gave Himself for me. You see, beloved, He was judged
for us on the cross. He was judged for us on the cross.
And now we are justified by his life, justified by his life. Who justifies us? God justifies
us. Who's he that condemneth? It's
Christ the died. Who shall lay anything to the
charge of God's elect? It's God that justified them.
And when God justifies you, there ain't nothing or nobody for the
most fabulous, most blessed words in the scripture is this, no
condemnation in Christ. You won't find no more four words
better than that. No condemnation, no judgment
in Christ. Justified by his life. You see,
He's the vine, we're the branches. Our life comes from the vine.
He's the head, whatever the head has, you know, whatever is in
the head, that's what comes through the body. And the head and the
body are one and the same. And He's the fullness, we're
the body. And we're filled with His fullness. We don't live by
our own strength or our power or our graces. Oh, it's a substitutionary
life. And then look what else, it's
a secure life. Look what he says there in verse
three. You are dead, and listen to this,
your life is hid with Christ in God. Oh my, hid. When you hide something, and
you know when you hide something, everybody don't know where it's
at. The world don't know where we're hid with God in Christ.
Well, that's a mysterious life to the world. Hid in Christ?
What are we hid from? Well, we're hid from sin, we're
hid from death, we're hid from wrath, and we're hid from all that could,
would harm us in this world. There's nothing that can harm
us in this world. And when it says we're hid with
Christ, it shows its secrecy. The world don't know anything
about this. The world don't know anything about this. And when
it says we're hid with Christ, it shows the security of it.
Who in the world can get in Christ and take us out? We're hid there.
Hid there. As Noah was shut up in that ark. Noah was shut up in that ark.
We're shut up in Christ. And we're as safe and secure
as God in Christ and Christ in God. I give unto them eternal
life. And you know what it says? They
shall never perish. Never perish. And then look what
happens. It's my last thing. And the life
yet to be manifested. Oh my. When Christ, our life,
shall appear. And He's going to appear. Oh,
that's like Martha said, Lord, I know He'll be resurrected in
the last day. You know, when Christ, our life,
shall appear. He's going to appear. One of
these days, He will appear. One of these days ever I'll see
him, ever I shall behold him. Even those that were at the cross
that crucified him, that soldier that pierced his side shall see
Christ appear someday. all those that are dead shall
rise from the dead they shall ever Christ shall appear he shall
appear one of these days he's going to appear he's going to
show up and he won't be he will he like he was when he went away
that's the way he'll look when he comes back he shall appear
but didn't look what it says not only is he going to appear
but it says when he appears we're going to show up with him then
we're gonna appear with him. How's that gonna happen? Anybody
can speak this world into existence. He won't have no problem showing
up and making us come up and meet him at the same time and
all of us appearing at the same time. He won't have no problem
doing that. And look what it says, we will
appear with him in glory. oh he's going to have a glorified
body we're going to have a glorified body he's going to appear in
glory he said we're going to appear in glory whatever glory
means that ever he has his glory that's what we're going to have
and when he appears we're going to appear with him and whatever
glory he has he says he's going to make us glory with we're going
to have that same glory huh no wonder i i reckon that the sufferings
of this present time are not worth that shall be revealed in us.
Oh, what a life! A life hid with God in Christ. A life hid with God in Christ. Our Father, in the blessed name
of Christ our Lord, thank you for your word. Thank you for
your truth. Thank you for your gospel. Thank
you for the life that we have in Christ. We have no life if
we don't have him. And oh Lord, we need him, we
want him, we desire him. And I pray that you'd create
that desire in those that are here today. Those that don't
know Christ, don't desire Christ, don't desire a relationship with
Christ. I pray the Lord Jesus that you'd
quicken them, that you'd give them life from the dead. that
you'd bring them to Christ, bring them to look to Him, to trust
in Him, to rest in Him, to enjoy Him, to delight in Him, to find
Him to be there all in all. Our Father, we pray for those
again that are not with us through affliction, through weakness
of body. And oh Lord, bring glory to Yourself through this body
of believers. We ask in Christ's holy name.
Amen. Amen. What's the name of that song?
Free From the Law, Happy Condition, what's the name of that?
