talking about our Lord Jesus
Christ being in the storm and always takes care of the storm
for those that are in the storm. He always does. Look what it
says here at verse 22. Let's read them again. Luke 8,
22. Now it came to pass on a certain day that he went into a ship
with his disciples, and he said unto them, Let us go over unto
the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. But
as they sailed, he fell asleep. And there came down a storm of
wind on the lake, and they were filled with water and were in
jeopardy. And they awoke, and they came to him and awoke him,
saying, Master, Master, we perish. Then he arose and rebuked the
wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there was
a calm. And he said unto them, Where
is your faith? And they, being afraid, wondered,
saying one to another, What manner of man is this? For he commandeth
even the winds and the water, and they obey him. Matthew, Mark,
and Luke, all, all record this event of the Lord Jesus Christ
calm in the storm, in the storm on the sea. And so if all three
of them, Matthew, Mark, and Luke, deal with this particular story,
this particular incident in our Lord's life and His disciples'
life, we ought to take heed to the lessons it contains for us.
Now our Lord had labored all day. Our Lord was a laboring
man. He worked. Oh, He worked. How He worked. He went all the time teaching
parables. And there's a demon-possessed
man on the other side of this lake, Gadara. You go down there
and look at verse 26. And they arrived at the country
of the Gadarenes. And there met Him a certain man
which had devils a long time. And he had an appointment to
be over there. Meet that fellow possessed with the devils. That's
where he is heading all the time. Things happen between things.
And so our Lord Jesus Christ on His way over there and He
must go and He's over there to heal this man on His way to heal
this man. And our Lord Jesus had labored all day and talked
about all the parables and healed all those that were brought to
Him. And look what it says in verses 1 and 2. It said, and
it came to pass afterward that he went throughout every city
and village preaching and teaching. Preaching and showing the glad
tidings of the kingdom of God and the twelve were with him.
That's what he went. He just went about every city,
every village, constantly going and laboring. And the first thing
I want us to understand is that our Lord Jesus Christ was really
a man. He was really, really, truly
a man, as well as God. Look what it says there, it said,
He fell asleep. They came out into this boat,
this ship, and they was going to go to the other side. And
they went over to the other side of the lake, and our Lord Jesus
Christ fell asleep. Look what it says, and he went
into a certain day with a ship and they sailed and they came
to him and he had then fell asleep, our Lord Jesus Christ. Now he's
sailing with his disciples. These men are experienced fishermen. They've been on the lake many,
many times. They'd been on this, this is what they did for a living.
They were used to being on the lake, used to being out on these
seas, used to going out there, used to storms, used to fishing
all night, used to fishing and whatever was going on. And our
Lord Jesus Christ laid down and went to sleep. And that says
there in verse 23, but as they sailed, he fell asleep. And sleep is necessary. Everybody
knows when they don't get enough. Sleep is necessary. I mean, we
got to have sleep. In fact, our Lord Jesus Christ
over in Ecclesiastes 5.21, it says the sleep of a laboring
man is sweet. When you work all day and labor
all day and go to bed at night and get a good night's sleep,
oh, how sweet it is to have at the end of the day to go and
get a good night's sleep. And our Lord Jesus Christ is
sleeping. It's necessary. And to show you
that He was a man, He was weary. He was really weary, tired, labored
hard all day. And our Lord Jesus Christ's angels
and spirits, they don't need their food or they don't need
sleep. And God doesn't need food and
God doesn't need sleep. And that's why He says, you know,
when our Lord Jesus Christ must needs go through Samaria, and
He came at high noon and sat down on that well, In John chapter
4 and verse 6, when he went to talk to that woman at the well,
the scripture says that he sat down on the well for he was weary,
weary with his journey. Weary with his journey. Our Lord
Jesus Christ was a man. You get weary, he got weary.
You get tired, he got tired. You need sleep, he needed sleep.
But oh, bless his holy name, our blessed master. Our great
high priest was made partakers of flesh and blood like unto
us. That's what the scripture said. Look over, keep this and look
in Romans 8. Look in Romans chapter 8 verse
3. You know it says he was made
like unto his brethren. made for takers of flesh and
blood, like unto his brethren, that he might be touched with
the feelings of our infirmities. Why did he must make flesh that
he might be touched with the feelings of our infirmities?
He really can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities.
When we sang that song, I need thee, O Lord, I need thee every
hour, in joy or in pain. I need thee and beloved our Lord
Jesus Christ. Here's the blessed thing about
it. That whatever we go through, our Lord Jesus Christ went through
it. Sin accepted. Sin accepted. And look what it says in Romans
8, 3. For what the law could not do,
And that it was weak through the flesh. Nothing wrong with
the law. The problem is with us. What did God do? He sent
His Son. His own Son. In the likeness
of sinful flesh. When you look at Him, you saw
a man. When you looked at him, you saw
a man that could cry. When you looked at him, you saw
a man that had to have sleep. When you looked at him, you saw
a man who had to eat. When you looked at him, you saw
a man who got so weary and so tired and he had to sleep. But
yet, beloved, he was in the likeness of this sinful flesh. But oh,
he was just in the likeness of it. He wasn't like us in the
sense that we have sinned, but our Lord Jesus Christ didn't
have it. And God made him, led him, but caused him to be a sacrifice
for sin. And what did he do? He judged
sin into flesh. And that's why he was made flesh.
And so, beloved, he who is at God's right hand right now, has
had personal experience of all our infirmities. Of all our infirmities. I tell you beloved, the scriptures
tells us that He bore our infirmities. Bore our sicknesses. Now what
in the worlds I heard a fellow ask a guy that one day, how in
the world could He bear all our infirmities and all our sicknesses?
It's just like when he would touch a leper. He would heal
that leper, but he took the infirmities of that leper upon himself, and
he wasn't affected by the infirmities of that leper. The leper was
cleansed. If you and I touch a leper, we get leprosy. Christ
didn't get leprosy. When Christ bore our sins, He
didn't become a sinner. Like we are, He bore our sins
in His own body. He didn't become a sinner like
us. But how could He die if He wasn't
a man? But here's the thing, that man who sits in God's right
hand right now has actually touched right this minute with whatever
you're going through. And whenever you go through it,
He has touched with what you're going through. I'm thankful for that. I'm certainly
thankful for that. That's what I mean. That's what
I mean, beloved. That's why, you know, we come
boldly unto the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find help
in the time of need. Why? Because our great high priest
can be touched, touched with the feelings of our infirmity.
And oh, as a man he has hungered As a man, he thirsted. He cried
out on the cross, I thirst! He suffered pain. Got bone weary. Bone weary. You know what it's like to get
bone weary? Oh, bone weary. And needed rest. And here he
is, asleep. Because he needed rest. The very
one who bore our sins, oh bless his name, can be touched with
the feelings of our infirmities. He was indeed a man, that man
who sits at God's right hand, though he was God. And I'll tell
you something else. Believers may have fears and
unbelief, It's obvious to me that we as believers can have
some awful great fears and manifest a lot of unbelief. Look what
it says there in verse 23. But as they sailed,
he fell asleep, and there came down a storm of wind. And look what it says, and they
were filled, the boat began to fill with water. And it says
they were in jeopardy. Back over at Luke 8. Here's what
I'm saying, beloved. Were they really in jeopardy?
Were they ever really in jeopardy? But to them, they were. To you
and me, sometimes it looks like we're in jeopardy. But they weren't. You know, some people, they say,
boy, if the Lord knew what condition I was in, He'd do something about
it. I'll tell you what, He knew the storm was going to come,
but there was no danger of them being in jeopardy. But in their
mind, they was in jeopardy. And how many times are we like
that? We feel like we're in jeopardy. How am I going to get out of
this situation? How am I going to get through
this storm? How am I going to be saved in this situation? Oh,
was this a chance storm? Did the storm just come up out
of the clear? Was it a chance thing that all
of a sudden a storm comes? God rides upon the storm. His wonders
to perform. You know, I used to, years ago,
I remember that first, the worst tornado that's ever hit, hit
Xenia, Ohio, about just a few miles from where we live. We
saw them tornadoes that day, they was everywhere. That particular
day, over 400 tornadoes hit the United States that day. And they
were five miles wide and went through Xenia, Ohio. And man,
I was standing out there and I thought, oh my goodness, this
is it. This is it. never touched us. But I tell
you what, I thought, man, I'm in jeopardy. But I wasn't in jeopardy. And
listen, God, the lightning is His arrows. The clouds, the scripture
says, are the dust of His feet. And He has His way in the whirlwind. Ain't you glad that's true? Oh
listen, and this storm came down just exactly when and where it
was supposed to come. And oh my, was there any danger
of them not getting to the other side? He said, let us go on to
the other side of the lake. Do you reckon that there was
any danger that they weren't going to get over there? This fellow said, oh my, we're
just a bunch of gold casses. Oh, that was Louis, listen. And yet they were afraid. The
master was there with them and they were afraid. How many storms
do you reckon these fishermen had been in? How many storms
do you reckon that had really happened? Huh? But oh, they did
the right thing. Look what they did. They did
exactly the right thing. In verse 24, they came to Him. They came to Him and awoke Him. That's the right thing. That's
exactly the right thing to do whenever you're in a storm. Whenever
you're afraid, whenever you're in jeopardy, whenever you feel
life has just absolutely overcome you and overwhelmed you, and
thanks has come to you, and news has come to you, and storms has
come to you, and all these things come to you. The right thing
to do, they came to Him. That's what it says, and they
came to Him. And they woke Him up. Oh, and
they said, Master, Master. Lord, Lord, oh Master, our Master. We perish. We perish. Oh my. Look over here at Mark
4.38 with me. Back over to your left. Mark
8.38. 438, excuse me, Mark 438. Look what
it says here. Oh, they woke him up and says,
Master, Master, we perish. And over here in verse 38, they
said in verse 38, they wake him up from a sleep, he's asleep
on a pillow, it says over here. And they wake him up and they
say, Master, Master, don't you care that we perish? Don't you
care that we perish? Matthew 8, 25. Turn over to that one. There
they said, Charis, don't you care that we perish? If you've
not got no compassion for us, don't you got no concern for
us? Oh my. And then here in verse
25, it's the same story. This is all the same story. And
His disciples came to Him and awoke Him saying, Lord, save
us. We perish. One, He says, Lord,
we perish. Gareth found out that we perish.
Lord, save us. We perish. And over Him, here
they wake Him up and they said, Oh, and Master, Master, we perish. Save us. And all of them are true. Without
Him, there's perishing. Without Him, the storm cannot,
you cannot survive the storm. And Lord, in this storm here,
if you don't save us, we'll perish. And this is the truth, beloved.
If Christ does not save us, in whatever is going on in our life,
we will not be saved. People don't understand. I'm
telling you. There's lots of folks getting in a lot of trouble.
The first thing they want to do is they want to start saying,
well, they'll call on the Lord when they get out of the trouble.
They forget the Lord. Any faith that's born in the
storm will perish in the calm. If it's born in the storm, it'll
perish in the calm. But I tell you, beloved, if you
go through life, You know unbelievers go through the same thing believers
do. But the only difference is we have Christ. They don't. We have the Lord Jesus Christ
to go to. How many other boat you wreckers
out there in that storm didn't have Christ to call on? And oh
listen, here's what happened these fellas. They did the right
thing. They came to Christ. And where
there is a storm, we come to Him. Who else are we going to
go to? Lord, You have the words of eternal life. And see, these
men forgot who they were with. They forgot who they were with.
They really did. They forgot that the Lord Jesus
is in the ship. How many times did they watch
Him work miracles? How many miracles did they saw?
How many people did they see healed? How many people have
they seen Christ do something for? The blind to see? The lame
to walk? Devils cast out? Death to hear? Sin is word and heal people?
How many miracles have these men seen? And how many times
had He had took them aside and taught them and taught them along.
And that's why He says that the twelve were with Him wherever
He went, teaching and preaching the Kingdom of God. The twelve
were with Him. They heard His messages. They
heard everything He had to say. They saw all His miracles. But
so what in the world happened here? They saw. They saw. They was walking by
sight. They wasn't walking by faith.
They were walking, going by their senses. By their senses. By their feelings. Instead of
trusting the Lord Jesus Christ. And how many times have we done
that? Governed by our sight, but what we see. But what we sense, what we feel,
These men here, oh how bad they failed. And so I tell you believers,
believers, and don't you chide yourself. Let me ask you this.
Do you chide yourself for your unbelief and your fear? Do you
chide yourself for it? Do you get angry with yourself
for it? Do you get disgusted with yourself and discouraged
with yourself over your fears, over your unbelief, over your
worries, over your anxieties? Do you chide yourself for it?
But our Lord Jesus Christ asked him this question. And down in verse 25, He said
unto them, Where is your faith? Where is your faith? Where is your faith? You say
you believe, You say you trust me. You say I'm your master.
You say I'm your Lord. Where's your faith? Where is
your faith? And I'll tell you, beloved, we
have no more faith at any time than we have in an hour of trial.
We have no more faith at any time than we have in an hour
of trial. When God puts us in the fire,
entice us. You'll have no more faith at
any time than when you're in that hour of trial. All that
won't bear the testing by Christ in a storm, any faith, anything that will
not bear the testing is just carnal confidence. Fairweather
faith is no faith at all. And you know what faith does?
He asked them where their faith is. Well, they had enough faith
that they came to the right person in the right circumstances. They
came to Christ and they said, Lord, if you don't save us, we're
going to perish. Lord, we're perished. Don't you
care that we perish? And all those things were true.
And I tell you, beloved, that's Anything that will not stand
a trial any faith that does not stand a trial is not faith God
gotta try our faith Now this was a severe trial of their faith
severe trial of their faith All of them had been in many storms,
but this one was different very different You know why it was
different It came while they were doing what their master
told them to do. Look what it says back up in
verse 22. Our Lord Jesus says to his disciples
that he went into a ship with his disciples, 12 of them, all
of them. And he said unto them, let us
go over unto the other side of the lake. And what did they do? They lost the boat, put it out
to sea, put it out on the lake, said, let's go. They've done
exactly what the Master told them to do. They said, we're
going to the other side. They lost out the ship. They
lost out the boat. And they lost forth. Their faith
was greatly tried. Because the storm came with the
Lord Jesus Christ in the ship. Well, he was in there with him.
Now that's a severe trial. The master's in there with him.
He said, we're going to go to the other side. And they said,
no, we're not going to make it to the other side. And here's
what these fellows are thinking. How can it be so tough with Christ
in the ship? How can it be so tough and things
be so hard and the storm be so severe and our Lord Jesus Christ
here with us? You're saying you're with me,
Lord. How did you let this happen? How did you let this go on? Don't
you know what situation we're in here? Oh, so how can it be
so hard? How can it be so tough with Christ
in the ship? And I'll tell you what these
men did. They went into this storm strong. Oh, strong. Full of faith. They're going
to go on the other side. They're going to continue going
with the master, going to continue preaching, going to continue
seeing him perform his miracles. They went into that storm strong,
full of faith. But look how they came out of
it. Oh, and how strong we are until we tried. And I tell you,
we feel pretty strong until God just absolutely knocks the prophet
out from under us. And he'll do it. I'll tell you
what, in fact, he has no children, no children that he does not
try. Not a one. He tries them in more
ways than you and I can imagine. He can try us in our minds. He
can try us in our bodies. He can try us in our families.
He can try us with our health. He can try us with our children.
He can try us with our automobiles. He can try us with our money.
He can try us with our houses. He can try us more ways than
you and I could ever possibly imagine. And everybody has a different,
he has a different way of dealing with everybody in whatever situation
they're in. Sometimes you feel, you know,
David said it like this, deep, the deep, the deep overwhelms
me, the deep answers I'm the deep, thy waves have rolled over
me. That's what David said, here's
the king of Israel said, thy waves have rolled over me. And Israel when they stood at
the Red Sea, they said God brought us out here just to let us die. He brought us out here just to
let us down. Here comes Pharaoh's army and
he's going to kill all of us. That's what they said. That's
the first thing they said. God just brought us out here
to kill us. Oh my, but look what a gentle
rebuke our Lord gave them. He wasn't angry at them. You know, if it had been me or
you, we would have woken. And listen, do you ever do this?
Somebody call you and you'll be asleep and they'll wake you
up and say, was you asleep? Oh, no, I'm fine. Oh, no, I'm doing fine. Well, you know, if it had been
us, we'd have got up very upset. But our Lord Jesus Christ is
so gentle with his people, so gentle with them. He said, where
is your faith? Just ask him very quietly. I
don't even say that he stood up yet. He still probably laid
down. He said, where is your faith?
Where is your faith? Where is your faith? Do you think
me, the sovereign of the sea, the Lord of glory, the one that
you believe was sin of God? You've already told me that you
believe that God sent me. You already says you believe
I'm the Lamb of God. You already understand that God
sent me into this world to do a work. Do you think for a moment
that I would go down with this ship? And their unbelief was
so unreasonable because it was contrary to what they themselves
believed. They believed that the Lord Jesus
Christ was who He said He was. that he came from God and was
going back to God. That he came here for a work
to do. And don't you think that they
believed that he was going to finish that work. They believed
that our Lord Jesus Christ was going to come here to do exactly
what he said he was going to do. So how in the world could
they worry that they was going to perish? Oh my, that's why he says, where
is your faith? Is he not going to finish this
thing? Is he not going to finish his work? Was he not sin of God? But oh, look at the wisdom in
our Lord Jesus Christ asking them, where is your faith? Where
is your faith? Where is your faith? Do you ever
ask yourself that? Lord, where is my faith? In fact, they asked him one time,
said, Lord, would you increase our faith? They asked him one
time, Lord, would you increase our faith? Would you increase our faith? And as they said to him, where
is your faith? Do you lack faith because you don't have enough
knowledge? Is that what he's saying? Do we lack faith? Because
we don't have enough knowledge. And when I'm talking about knowledge,
I'm talking about a knowledge of Christ. A knowledge of Him. And I say old Scott Richardson
said this, I couldn't tell you how many times I heard him say
this. If we knew Him better, we would trust Him a lot more. If we knew Him better. And that's
the best thing about it. You know, knowing him, how much
firmer our faith would be if we knew him better. Knew him
better. Look at Job. Keep this with me
now. Keep Luke 8. Look at Job 22. Look at Job 22 with me. Job is
wrapped before the Psalms. Job 22. Oh my, do we lack faith and for
want of knowledge? Where's your faith? Oh, there's
wisdom in asking us where our faith is. He knows where it's at, and He
knows who it's in. He asks us for us to look at
ourselves. Where's our faith? How's our
faith reacted? How's our faith dealt with this
particular situation? How's our faith done? How's it
fared in a storm? How's our faith fared when the
weather's fine and perfect and beautiful? Wonderful. Amos said
it like this, when there's an ox in the stall and plenty of
corn in the field and wine in the vat, everything's wonderful. But when God comes, And He blessed
everything you got. Everything you got. Then what
happens? What happens? Oh, look what He
said here in Job 22, 21. Oh, what a message right here. Acquaint now thyself with Him. Acquaint yourself with Him. Acquaint
yourself with God. More about Jesus would I know. More of His saving fullness to
others show. More of His love to me. More
of His Word to me. And oh, look, He says, acquaint
thyself with Him. Lord, I want to know You. Oh,
how I want to know You. I want to know You more. I want
to know Him and be found in Him. And then he goes on to say, and
equate thyself now with him, and be at peace. And these fellas
said, be at peace. No, listen, they forgot who the
master was, that the master was in the ship with them. There
wasn't no danger of them not getting through that storm. And
he said, equate thine else self now and be at peace. And look
what it says here, thereby good shall come unto thee. Peace is
good. Faith is good. And knowing God
and knowing what's going on is good. Is it not that our trials
take us by surprise? Our Lord Jesus Christ said, in
the world, down here in the world where you live, He said, you're
going to have great, great tribulation. Trials is going to come, great
tribulation. But He says, be in peace. I've
overcome the world. It ain't going to destroy you.
It ain't going to eat you. It ain't going to take you down.
It's not going to destroy you. You have trials in the world,
but it ain't going to destroy you. Look over in 1 Peter chapter
4. Look what he says over here about this. Oh my! Is it that our trials take us
by surprise? And you know I talked about ways
that God tries us, so many different ways. You know one way He can
try you? One of the greatest ways He can try you is just let
you go cold hearted and empty day after day after day. Where you can't think, you don't
think of Him. You don't feel His presence.
Get nothing out of reading the scriptures? Seems like that when
you pray, you know, you just say, well, you can't, you ain't
even got enough spirituality about you to even pray. And you just feel it's empty?
It's empty. You don't have to, you don't
have to send a great storm. Just, just leave him. And you know why you don't quit
when it's like that? It's because you know that He's
still with you no matter what's going on. I don't care how cold
you are, how empty you feel, how lifeless your heart feels,
how your mind cannot think a spiritual thought day after day after day. He's still with you. You're still
saved. You're still saved. And then
one day you get up and there's the Lord. There you get up and
your mind starts thinking and your heart starts getting warm. And the scripture starts speaking
to you. And you get tears in your eyes
and say, Lord, thank you. Bless your holy name that I can
feel you now. Oh my! He tries us by our brethren. Tries us by our brethren. How
they act and how they treat us and the way they don't act and
the way they don't treat us. And oh my! There's thousands
of ways that God can try us. But look here at 1 Peter chapter
4 and verse 12. This is Simon Peter putting these
people in remembrance. He says, I've come to put you
in remembrance. And this is some of the things
he puts them in remembrance. Beloved, think it not strange
concerning the fiery trial, which is to try you, as though some
strange thing happened unto you. Lord, what's going on here? Don't
you care that we perish? But rejoice! And as much as you are partakers
of Christ's suffering, He was tried. As He sees the tried stone,
He is tried of God, He is tried of man, He is tried of the devil,
tried by the Word. Oh my, that when His glory, and
His glory is going to be revealed, Oh my, because of your trials,
you will rejoice, you'll be so thankful, you'll see so blessed.
And when that, you know, she was playing that song. Lord, hasten the day when my
faith shall be sight. Hasten the day when my faith
shall be sight. When the trump shall resound
and the Lord shall descend. Even so, even so, it's well with
us. Herman's faith is signed now. One of these days your faith
will be signed. No more storms, no more backing
up. Say, Oh Lord. Oh my. Don't think it's strange. And then look over here. Let
me finish this thing up. Look back over in our text here
in Luke chapter 8. Look at verse 22. So here's our
Lord Jesus as a man. The fear and unbelief of the
disciples. Our Lord, they came to the right person. And our
Lord said, oh master, and oh don't you, where's your faith?
But look at the greatness and glory and power of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Now man gets weary in sleep,
but man cannot calm a storm. Only God can. Now watch this.
And they came to him in verse 24 and awoke him saying, master,
master, we perish. Then he arose. That's when he
got up. got up off his pillow, his walker,
and he stood out there. I don't believe he moved. He just got up and he looked
at that storm and look what it says. He rebuked the wind. Rebuked it. What did he say?
I don't know. He rebuked the wind. He just rebuked it. What did
he say to the wind? Over in one place, he said, wind,
be still. One of them says, wind, be still. And the scripture says the wind
ceased. I'd like to see somebody who
has all this belief in their free will, in their works, do
something like that. You know, the will's got so much
power that God won't let them save them. But it ain't got power
enough to calm the wind. Our Lord just worked with us. He said, be still. And you know
what happened? Wind stopped that quick. That
quick. And then it says here, He rebuked
the wind and the raging water. Raging water. The water was raging.
We've seen all that storm down in Texas, and all that storm
down in Florida, and that water was raging. Here it was raging,
even starting to fill up the ship with water. And it was raging,
I mean just swell, just raging, and stirring, and going, and
he just rebuked it. And look what it says, and they
ceased. And listen, this is what he does
in these trials. And there was calm. There was calm. Oh my. Oh, what a miracle here. He didn't do this to save himself. He didn't do this to save himself.
He didn't need saving. They needed saving. He did it
for their salvation, for their faith. And this is the same power
that brought the flood in Noah's day. When he said, it's going
to rain, Noah, you got to prepare an ark. This is the same power
that brought the flood. This is the same power that divided
the Red Sea and the children walked through on dry land. This
is the same power that parted the Jordan when they went over
out into the promised land, over into Israel. He speaks. He just speaks. That's all He
has to do, speak. And the winds and the raging
waters obey Him. Obey Him. As a man, He slept. As God, He stilled the storm. And that's why, beloved, we can
say He is able, able to save to the uttermost. Uttermost. No matter what the extent of
what goes on in our life, He's able to save us to the uttermost.
He said, I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish.
For no man is able to pluck them out of my hand, and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. That's how secure
we are. I tell you, storms is going to
come. But mark it down, mark it down. Our Lord will always arise and
save us right on time. Right on time. You know, it said
he's going to appear the second time without sin. For who? unto them that look
for his appearing." Oh, they're going to come, but our Lord Jesus
Christ, He's going to rise and He'll take care of that storm.
He never fails, never fails. Our Lord, we bless you for the
day. Bless you for your gospel. Bless
you for your blessed truths. Lord, thank you so many storms
you saved us from, so many trials, so much unbelief, so much fear. And Lord, you've never forsook
us over our unbelief and fear. You've always been so gracious
and kind, so loving, so patient, so tender. You have such compassion
and pity. Remember that we're just dust,
just dust. And Lord, we thank you that you
remember us. You are our father. And you preserve
us. And we bless you for Christ's
sake. Amen. Amen. Let's do that.
