Let's turn to Psalm 86. Psalm
86. Psalm 86. Bow down thine ear,
O Lord, hear me, for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul,
for I am holy. O thou, my God, save thy servant
that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord,
for I cry unto thee daily. Rejoice, the soul of thy servant,
for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou, Lord, art
good and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all them
that call upon thee. Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer,
and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of
my trouble I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me. Among
the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord. Neither are there
any works like unto thy works. All nations whom thou hast made
shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify
thy name. For thou art great, and doest
wondrous things. Thou art God alone. Teach me
thy way, O Lord. I will walk in thy truth, unite
my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my
God, with all my heart. I will glorify thy name forevermore. For great is thy mercy toward
me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. O
God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent
men have sought after my soul, and have not set thee before
them. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious,
longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto
me, and have mercy upon me. Give thy strength unto thy servant,
and save the son of thine handmaid. Show me a token for good, that
they which hate me may see it and be ashamed, because thou,
Lord, hast opened me and comforted me. Let us pray. Matthew chapter
1. Matthew chapter 1. Matthew chapter
1, verse 21 through 23. And she shall bring forth a son. This is the Holy Ghost talking
to Joseph. and thou shalt call his, she
shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus.
In the margin it says Savior, for he shall save his people
from their sins. Now all this was done that it
might be fulfilled which was spoken to the Lord by the prophet,
saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring
forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being
interpreted is God with us. You know, our Lord Jesus Christ,
we sang that hymn, we said it this morning, what a wonderful
Savior is Jesus our Lord. Do you know that God named him
before he was ever born? Before he was ever born, God
said, this is what you're going to call him. This is what you're
going to name him. You're going to call him Jesus. When he's
born, you're going to name him Jesus. Huh? And then God told
us what his name meant, Savior, and that he'd save his people
from their sins. And he called him Immanuel. From
Isaiah it said Immanuel, meaning that God is with us. God is with
us. And Jesus, Savior, is the name
that all call him who know him. We call him our Savior. All who
call him Savior is only people who know him in the gospel. The
gospel concern in our Lord Jesus Christ is entrusted to us, entrusted
to those who know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. You know, as
God allowed us to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak,
not as pleasing men, but God, which tries our hearts. And we
do this publicly. We call on the Lord Jesus Christ
publicly. We call on him as our Savior
publicly. And if he was Jesus, Savior,
before he was born, if he was Jesus, our Savior, in the cradle,
what is he now, exalted on high, sitting on his throne? If he
was our Savior, when he is in his cradle, if he was our Savior,
if he was Simon's Savior, when he is forty days old, what is
he now that he sits at the right hand of God, exalted on high?
Immanuel, God with us, after He by Himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Immanuel,
God with us, His Incarnation, Him coming here made Him Jesus,
the Savior of sinners. And what then are we going to
say about Him since He came and say of Him that His Master, He's
made atonement for us? After atonement has been made
for us and the shedding of blood has been made to cleanse us from
our sin, What shall we say after the atonement has been made?
What are we going to say about His resurrection? What are we
going to say about His ascension? And what are we going to say
about how His glorious person was crowned and that He ever
lives now to make intercession for us if He was Jesus when He
was born and He was our Savior then? So imagine what He is now
ascended at the right hand of God. And oh my, that baby, that
baby that was in Mary's arms is the Savior. So what is He
now on His throne? If He was our Lord, if He was
Jesus on the cross offering Himself as a sacrifice for His people,
what is He now that He has made that one offering and has perfected
forever them and then He set out at the right hand of God? What is He if He is the Savior
when He is a child? One of the old hymn writers said
this, Jesus, name of all names above, Jesus, best and dearest,
Jesus, fount of perfect love, holiest, tender, dearest, Jesus,
source of grace completed, Jesus, holiest, sweetest, Jesus, Savior,
all divine, thine is the name, and only thine. Thou shalt call
His name, and that's what I want to talk about. Thou shalt call
His name, Jesus You notice his name is reserved for him and
him alone. God said thou shall call his
name Jesus No, it was reserved for him and
him alone that word Jesus is a soldier in the margin there
says Savior and Though he had his name was typically warned
by another you remember over in Hebrew chapter 4 when you
talked about Joshua and they called him Jesus and that word
Jesus and Joshua, Joshua is the Old Testament name of Jehovah's
Savior, Jesus is the New Testament name of Jehovah's Savior. And
so we had one who went before us and who was Jesus and they
called him Jesus, his name was Joshua. And so what we, they're
the same word, And Joshua was a type of our Lord Jesus Christ. And this is what I want to talk
about. Well, what did Joshua do? If Joshua was typical of
our Lord Jesus Christ, had the same name as our Lord Jesus Christ
did, but Jesus is the only savior. But what did Joshua do if he
was typical of our Lord Jesus Christ? Well, first off, Moses
couldn't lead the people into Canaan. The law cannot take people
into rest. The law cannot take people into
the land of promise. Moses cannot save anybody. Moses can't take you across Jordan. Moses can't take you over into
the promised land. Moses don't have the power. He
don't have the ability. And I tell you what, beloved,
and then And Joshua, Joshua took them all the way across the River
Jordan. And they walked across that River
Jordan. And there wasn't nothing wrong
with law. Not a thing in the world, Moses
had to say, not a thing in the world with God's law. The problem
with God's law is us, the weakness of our flesh. So what did God
do? He provided us the Lord Jesus
Christ, who God made an offering for sin, made Him to be sin,
made Him an offering for sin, and condemned sin once for all. in the end of the world. And
I'll tell you something else about Joshua, typical of our
Lord Jesus. Joshua overcame the enemies of
God's people. When he went in, he fought the
enemies. He was the captain of the Lord's
host is what they called him. And oh, he overcame the enemies
of God's people. And I tell you what, when he
went into Canaan, they had lots and lots of enemies and they
were very many and they were very strong. Yet in Jehovah's
name, as captains of the Lord host, he defeated them and he
whipped them. Do you know we have a captain
of our salvation? Look in Hebrews chapter two.
That's what I'm saying. If Joshua had done that, imagine
what our savior does. Hebrews chapter two and verse
nine. And our Lord Jesus Christ, he took everything that was against
us. Lots of things was against us.
All kinds of things was against us, but He took everything that
was against us and nailed it to His cross. And He openly triumphed
over every enemy that He faced on the cross for us and defeated
them from top to bottom, inside and out. And look what He said
here in Hebrews 2.9. But we see Jesus, who has made
a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned
with glory and honor, that he, by the grace of God, should taste
death for every man. For it became him for whom are
all things, and by whom are all things, and bringing many sons
unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings." And I'll tell you, beloved, and I'll tell you, he
had lots of enemies, but all of our enemies were greater than
any enemy Joshua ever faced. And our Lord Jesus Christ defeated
our enemy. You know what the greatest enemy
we had? Anybody here have any idea what it is? S-I-N. That's a hard thing to deal with. To put sin away is a hard, hard
thing to do. It's we can't do it. Moses couldn't
do it. The sacrifices didn't do it.
The blood of bulls and goats didn't do it. Our works can't
do it, our sincerity can't do it, so only one person could
defeat this thing called sin, and how did he do it? By being
made sin! He put sin away by being made
sin, and he made an end to sin once and for all by the sacrifice
of himself. And then there was death, death,
this horrible thing called death that takes people's life out
of their body, takes people's light out of their eyes, and
takes people's breath from their soul, takes the last beat out
of their heart. He faced death for us. and he
defeated death for us. How do we know? He come out of
the grave. That's how we know. You read
it tonight in the study. He said, read it tonight. They
went to the tomb and there's angels standing there and said,
who you looking for? Jesus said, he's not here. Where's
he at? He's risen. Also death, 10,000 years. We sung it today. Oh my goodness.
When 10,000 years bright shining as the sun, we've only just begun. Oh, why? He defeated death. He
just perfumed the grave for us. Oh, my. And what about law? That law that cursed us. That
law. Our Lord Jesus Christ was made
a curse for us. To do what? To redeem us from
under that curse. and the judgment of God and justices
demanded our death. Our Lord Jesus Christ, bless
his name, he went under God's judgment and said, punish me,
beat me, pour your wrath on me, give me the cup of your wrath
and let me take, I'll drink it down to the dregs. And when they
come to take him, he said, if you take me, you gotta let these
go, you can't have both of us. And that's the way God's judgment
is and justice is. When he got Christ, he cannot
have us. Right? Oh, what a blessed gospel
that is. Face God without fear. Face God
without trepidation. Face God at the judgment and
stand boldly and confidently before God because you're standing
in your, not yourself, but in Christ himself. Woo! Oh my. Oh, when them walls of
Jericho come tumbling down, you know who was saved? The one who
believed God. Rahab, that harlot. And you know
how they know she was where she was? She had a scarlet thread
hanging out the window. That's the blood, that's the
blood God saw. Oh, bless his name. And I'll
tell you something else Joshua did for us, this typical Joshua.
And I'll tell you just typical of our Lord Jesus Christ. Joshua
conquered, and then he took all the land and gave it an inheritance
for Israel. When they went across to Jordan
and settled in the land flowing with milk and honey, he said,
this tribe's got this lot over here, and this tribe has this
lot over here, and you've got this lot, and you've got this
lot, and this tribe's gonna be over here. So he gave all of
them a lot for every tribe, a place to stay. and this was their inheritance. Oh my! God ordained this so they'd
come in the promised land and they would have, they'd all have
their own dwelling place by tribes. But oh what, He just gave them
an earthly inheritance. But our Joshua, our Lord Jesus
Christ, He got us an eternal inheritance. Look over in Romans 8. Oh, he
gave us it. What did our Joshua? What did
our Lord Jesus Christ? What did he get us? Oh, what
an inheritance he gave us in Romans 8 16 Oh my, you know everything
about our Lord Jesus Christ, everything about Him. It talks
about how rich He was, talks about the riches of His grace.
How wealthy is He in grace? How long has He been given grace?
How many people does He give grace to? Huh? And oh, they're
not always rich in grace, but He's rich in glory. Call Him
the glory of His riches. And oh listen, And Paul talked
about being made wealthy in him, enriched by him. But look what
it said here in Romans 8, 16. The spirit itself bears witness
with our spirit that we are the children of God. And if we're
children, now here's the thing, if we're children, now those
folks that come into the promised land, they were Israel. God made
them that promise, gonna get this inheritance. And if we're
children, then you're heirs. only children get to inherit
and watch this now heirs of God not only heirs but then he says
we're heirs of God and then he says we're joined heirs with
Christ so oh what an inheritance let me show you another and over
I believe it's in first Peter chapter one I believe that's
right let me show you another about inheritance And we have
an eternal inheritance obtained for us that's eternal in the
heavens is what our Lord said and what Ephesians says. But
look what it said here in 1 Peter 1.3. Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ. which according to his abundant,
abounding mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope,
a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Now listen to it, to an inheritance. Oh, I like to, you know, I've
never inherited nothing. I've never inherited nothing.
My daddy didn't leave me nothing but a bad name. My mother didn't
leave me nothing. And I took everything my dad
owned and I didn't keep anything, one chair. Most of them went
in the dumpster. I've never inherited nothing
from anybody. And I hope I don't leave nobody
else an inheritance. I hope I get spend it all before
I leave here. Every penny of it. Just get rid of it. What? Daddy didn't have nothing? No, but he had Christ. That's
the only testimony I won't left about me. But listen to what
he went on to say. To an inheritance. And it's incorruptible. You ain't
gonna put it in the bank. You ain't gonna put it in houses.
It's incorruptible. And it's undefiled. Man ain't
got nothing to do with this. Ain't nobody gonna fight over
you for it. And that faith is not always reserved in heaven
for you. Oh, what an inheritance. Oh,
bless his name. And then Joshua, Joshua gave
the people rest from their enemies. After he fought the enemies and
whipped the enemies, they had rest from all their enemies. They had rest from them. And
our beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ, He gave them a temporal rest
from enemies. But our Lord Jesus Christ gives
us a rest, a blessed, blessed, infinite, eternal rest. God just
says that God labored six days and then he rested and that means
that he doesn't from tired that means that he was finished with
what needed to be done and our Lord Jesus Christ finished finished
our salvation finished everything that needed to be done and he
is our sabbath he is our rest And Hebrews says that this work
was finished from the foundation of the world, the work was done
before the foundation of the world, and he that hath ceased
from his own works enters into his rest, as God ceased from
his. Well, we've ceased from our works,
ain't you? And what do you do when you rest? You're done! You ain't got nothing
else to do! Oh, and that's why it's called
our peace, our peace. He said, come unto me and I'll
give you rest. And come unto me and then you'll
find rest. He gives us rest and now we find what a sweet rest.
They sing that song, what a sweet rest we have in Jesus. Y'all
remember that song? We ain't sung that in a long
time. What a sweet rest we have in Jesus. And Joshua saved the
people and they served the Lord. as long as he lived, and when
they died, they went haywire. They went after other enemies,
after pagan gods and other gods. As long as Joshua was alive,
they worshiped the Lord. They done according to what God
said. But when Joshua died, then they went after other gods. But
there ain't no danger of our Joshua dying. He ever lives. He ever lives. He's a jealous God. And you know what that means?
I ain't going to let you have nothing else but me. I'm going
to keep you fixed on me. I'm going to keep you believing
me and cleaving to me and looking to me. And oh, beloved, our Lord
ever lives. And not only that, but He preserves
the people that Titus said is peculiar people, zealous of good
works. And he ever lives, ever lives
to make intersection points. And I tell you, Joshua. ceased fighting millenniums ago,
thousands of years ago, but our Lord Jesus Christ is still going
forth conquering and to conquer. You know who he conquers? Conquers
his people. In the day of his power, he makes
his people will. And I tell you what, he comes
into a man's heart and he conquers that man's heart, he conquers
that man's will, and then not all that, but he tramples down
his enemies, tramples down his enemies. and he gives victory
to his people through his blood. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15
57 thanks be unto God which always always gives us the victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 2 14 and I love
this verse of scripture and this is true whether we feel it or
not this is the way it is. God always causes us to triumph
in Christ Jesus. People say well that you know
people preach all the time say well the devil defeated me and
the devil will defeat you this way devil defeats you that way
devil ain't gonna defeat not one of God's people you know
why Christ unwhipped him put him on a chain and I'm telling
you he said he always makes us to triumph We win. We won because
He wins. People ask me all the time, how
you feel? I say, I got no complaints. How could I complain with what
I'm talking about here? I ain't got no enemies for what
ain't been whipped. I ain't got no sin because He
put it away. And I'm resting because He made me enter into
His rest. Oh my. But oh, listen, that was
just a typical name. And if what Joshua did, our Lord
Jesus Christ did infinitely, eternally more. And then, they
shall call his name Jesus. And look what it says there.
Look what it says there in verse 21. And she shall bring forth
a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save
his people from their sins. His name, Jesus, identifies our
Lord with His people. Thou shalt call His name Jesus.
And then He says, because He shall save His people. That name
declares the relation that He has to His people. And He is
to them a Savior. And there wouldn't be no Savior
if no one needed saving. What's the use of a Savior if
He don't save and nobody needs saving? And I tell you, you know,
I said today at that funeral, I said, oh, I started talking
about sinners and admitted I was a sinner. I don't know if anybody
ever heard a preacher call himself a sinner, but I do know this.
that finding a sinner, if you ever find a sinner, God's the
one that made him so. There's an old hymn writer said,
a sinner is a sacred thing, the Holy Ghost has made him so. And
that's why he called his name Jesus. His proper, his personal
name has no meaning apart from his people, apart from his people. It says here, he shall save his
people, his people. It didn't say God's people, if
it had said that most folks would have said well he's talking about
the jews and the jews only or some good holy persons who belong
to some god apart from a mediator but what it says is call him
jesus why because he shall save his people his own people they
belong to him he shall he says it in the day of his power was
it say his people His people shall be made willing. They're
called His elect, those that were given to Him, the names
that were written on the palms of His hand, the names that were
written on His heart, those at whom He counted the price of
their redemption. And He stood up and said, I'll
pay it to the uttermost farthing. They are the sheep that He laid
down His life for. They're the ones that were given
to Him of whom He's not lost one. He knows who they are. He knows where they are. And
bless His name, He knows what they are. Because His very name
means that they need saving. They need salvation. And He says
that He will save them, all of His people, from their sins.
And then He not only knows who they are, where they are, but
He calls them by name. And they hear. And He says they
shall call His name Jesus. Why? For he, for he shall save
his people. Well, who are these people? Who
are these people? Huh? I'm awful glad whenever
I find one, when somebody stands up and say, Lord, just save me,
or I'll believe the Lord done something for me. I just love
it when somebody does that. Huh? When one of them's found,
ain't you? Huh? Be they who they may, it
don't make any difference. but they need to be saved and
they shall be saved. It says he shall save his people.
It doesn't say here he shall reward his people for their righteousness. It doesn't say he'll reward their
people for their goodness. It doesn't say he's gonna reward
them for their good works or their sincerity or that he's
gonna give them a shove in the right directions or help them
make themselves better than they are. It doesn't say that he'll
save them from becoming sinners. but he shall save his people
from their S-I-N-S. You know why he says sins? Because
we sin every day. Oh, and here's the thing. Here's
the thing. Do you want saving? I do. Oh, I want to be saved. Has the
Holy Ghost taught you that you need saving? Well, that's his
name. That's his name. That's his work. If there's not a Savior, there's
no sinner. If there's no sinner, then there's
no need of a Savior. People say, well, if I get baptized,
I'll be all right. No, you need a Savior if you're
a sinner. And if you're a sinner, do you
need a Savior? Yes, yes, yes, yes. 10,000 times,
yes, I need a Savior. And our Lord's connection with
His people lies in the fact of their sins. There would be no
reason for Him to be connected to us and call His name Jesus
if He wasn't intended to come and save us from our sins. Save
them from their sins. It's our sins that cause us to
be connected to Him and cause Him to come into this world to
begin with. Oh, amazing grace. Indeed, amazing grace. It's their
sins that they need to be saved from. That's why Paul said, I'm
crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not
I, but Christ liveth in me. In the life I now live in the
flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, listen to this,
who loved me and gave himself for me. For if righteousness
come by the law, then Christ dead in vain. If a man could
ever, ever do anything for himself, then there's no need for the
death of Christ. But I needed Christ. Thank God that this is
God said before he was ever born, told his mother and told his
daddy, his earthly father said, whatever you do, Nick, call his
name Jesus. Why? Because he's a savior. Well,
who in the world is he going to save? His people. What is
he going to save them from? Their sins. That's what connects
us to him. That's, oh, listen. The first link between the Lord
Jesus Christ and my soul and your soul is not our goodness,
not our goodness, but our badness. Not our merit, but our misery
and our miserable condition. not our standing, but our falling,
not our wealth, but His poverty. He comes to His people and He
doesn't look at their beauty because they don't have any,
but what He does, He comes to His people to remove their deformities,
not reward their virtues, but to forgive them of their sins. Oh, I can just about holler right
now. I don't know how y'all feel about
it, but I could just about holler right now. Oh my, Lord Jesus
Christ, God looks at me outside of Christ and I'm nothing but
a deformed maggot worm on a dunghill living off of the dung of this
world. But God in sovereign mercy called his name Jesus and he
came, sent him into this world to save his people from their
sins. Take them off of that dunghill. Take all them deformities that
they've got. Take that darkness that's in
their heart. Take that imagination that's
evil continually. Take it away from them. Save
them from all that. Oh, what a name. Thou shalt call
his name Jesus. Oh, you see, His name, Jesus,
tells us His main work, He shall save, and He shall save from
sin. Well, how did He save His people
from their sin? How does He save His people from
their sin? You know how He did it? By taking
their sin upon Himself. The Lord laid on Him the iniquity
of us all. He was wounded for our transgressions,
bruised for our iniquities, It pleased the Lord to bruise him
and to make his soul, his soul, an offering for sin. And, oh,
he took our sin upon himself. I heard, Todd let me listen to
a famous, famous, famous preacher the other day. And this preacher,
the fellow asked him a question, you know, what is substitution? He said, well, substitution is
as if God took your sins and Christ took him and then when
he took him as as if God as if God charged Christ for your sin
and then if God charged but he said as if God's not pretending
there's no as if with God with God there's no as if or nothing
that he described how that God as if he put Christ's sins our
sins on Christ as if he gave us the righteousness of Christ
as if he was punished in our He never said it as a matter
of fact, but the Bible says it as a matter of there's no as
if with God. It says God made him to be sin,
not as if he sinned. And God made Christ to be our
righteousness, not as if he just made us righteous. And you ask
me after the service and I'll tell you who it is. There ain't
no F is with God. He didn't say, as if I'll make
Jesus your Savior, as if you have sinned. Thou shalt call
his name Jesus, for he shall say, how? By bearing the penalty
of the sin in his own body on the tree. He bore the wrath,
the condemnation, and the judgment. And then, beloved, He comes,
and He saves them from the power and dominion of sin. He saves
us from sin's tyranny. Sin no longer has dominion over
us. He gives us a new heart, a new
will, a new nature, a new birth. Look over with me in 1 Peter
1.18. I know I'm taking too long, but
you ain't gonna do nothing but go home anyway. I tell you, the
Lord, the gospel, oh how precious the gospel is. I love this gospel. And He saves us from this power
and dominion of sin. And oh my! And you know how He
does it? He does it by the force and power
of His love. That's how He does it. Look what
He said here in verse 18 of 1 Peter chapter 1. Forasmuch as you know
that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver
and gold, from your vain, empty, useless conversation or manner
of life, passed down from the traditions of your fathers. But
we were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb
without blemish and without spot, who barely or truly was foreordained
before the foundation of the world, but was manifested, born,
come into this world in these last times for you. who, you
who by Him, by Christ, do believe in God, that raised Him up from
the dead, and God gave Him glory, that your faith and hope might
be in God who gave us Christ. Now listen to this now. Seeing
you have purified your souls in obeying the truth, well, how
do you obey the truth? Through the Spirit. Unto an unfeigned,
unhypocritical love of the brethren, See that you love one another
with a pure heart fervent. Now listen to this right here.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible. There's
two seeds right there. Our seed we had by nature is
corruptible seed, but all the seed of God is incorruptible
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. Redeemed,
regenerated, all how. by the force and power of His
blessed will. Oh my! And I'll tell you something,
let me close up with this. Thou shall call His name Jesus
for He shall save His people from their sins. Is His name
completely justified? Did He live up to His name? Is his name completely justified? Is that name really, does he
live up to it? Is he justified by it? Oh yes,
his works proves that he's justified. Oh that name Jesus and by the
facts they prove. Oh my, you know how many you
reckon are in glory right now saying worthy is the Lamb? that was slain to redeem us out
of every tribe, kindred, nation, tongue, and people. How many
of you reckon right now? It says there's 10,000 times
10,000. Oh my. And one of these days
we're going to join the chorus and we're going to sing worthy
is the Lamb. That's going to be that new song
we sang. And this is his name forever. You know what his name
will be when we get to glory? Hebrews 6.20 says, Where the
forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, a high priest forever. You know what? He's a forerunner
for us. He went before us. And you know what he says? There's
somebody coming after us. Every time one of them, and you
know, I wonder how many people go into glory a day. I just wonder
how many saints of God go out into eternity and enter into
glory at the same time. And you know it, and I'm going
to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something.
I believe this with all my heart. I don't care if 10 million a
day went through the gates of glory. Christ would meet every
single one of them as if he's the only one got there that day. That's how glorious our Savior
is. He'll meet every one of them
like they're the only one that got there and the only one that
He loved. Oh, what a Savior. Oh, my goodness, I gotta quit. Oh, I just, oh, you're talking
about filling you with joy. Oh, ain't there joy? Oh, He said,
joy and peace and believing. What a wonderful savior is Jesus
our Lord. Amen. Oh, our Father, oh, we
thank you for this gospel. Thank you for our Lord Jesus
Christ. Thank you for the name that you
gave him. Thank you for the people that you gave him. Thank you
that he's a savior and that he really, truly saves his people
from their sins. Oh, we thank you. Oh, how we
bless your holy name. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Blessed
be your name. Oh, you're so glorious, so glorious
in power, mercy. Oh, Lord, who's like unto you? Oh, bless your name. God bless
these saints as they go their ways and give grace and strength
to every heart, every home. Those who are the heaviest burden
right now, lift their burden, give them an abundance of grace.
meet the needs of the heart, the mind, and the soul. We ask
these things in Christ's name. Amen. Amen.
