Turn with me back to Revelations
chapter 7. And I want you to look at verse
17 with me for just a minute. I got it. Got it all. Just remind me to turn it off. But there in verse 17, it says, For the Lamb which is
in the midst of the throne shall feed them shall lead them unto
living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes. I want to talk about no tears,
no tears in heaven. No tears where we're going to
get to go one of these days. There's two subjects that preachers
find it hard to preach on, and that's heaven and hell. And very
few preachers preach on either one of them adequately, that's
for sure. I find it awful hard to preach
on hell, and even when I do mention it, that people go there. I don't
say it in a harsh, mean way. I certainly hope I don't. But
hell would be impossible. It is impossible for us to conceive
of. Just absolutely impossible for
us to conceive of such a place, an eternal place. Where souls
are put there, God Himself puts them there. And if our Lord hadn't
told us that it existed, we wouldn't, couldn't believe in such a place.
It's just a horrible place to think about. But God Himself
will take living souls and put them there. Men and women who
refuse to believe Him, bow to Him, embrace Him, and reject
Him. that He'll take unbelieving sinners
and put them in everlasting destruction from His precious and from the
glory of His power forever. Now I've got family and I'm thankful
that God will not let my mind get into such a place that I
can think about such a place. God has mercy on us that we can't
conceive of such a place. But that's just the way it is. But I don't like to preach on
it. And I certainly don't want anybody to go to it. I don't
want anybody in this building this morning. I hope no soul
in this building this morning and souls that I preach to ever,
ever go to that awful place. I don't want that to happen.
And I certainly can't conceive of it for myself or yourselves
or our loved ones. And that's why preachers rarely,
rarely preach on this subject. Because it's absolutely impossible
to convey the reality of it. The reality of it. And another
subject we find hard to preach on and rarely preach on is heaven. And for the same reasons, how
in the world can we conceive of heaven? How can you do it?
Every once in a while we get a taste of it down here. Every
once in a while God blesses us to enjoy the presence of the
Lord and to enter into it just a little bit. But it's a much,
much easier subject than preaching on hell. Much, much easier. But it's just as hard to come
to the reality of it. To the reality of heaven itself.
For we understand so little about it, and we understand so little
about what it's going to be like. But I like to think about it.
I really enjoy thinking about it. I like to meditate on it. And every once in a while I get
a great, great longing to go there. I really, you know, I
say sometimes I get homesick. And the only people that can
get homesick for heaven is those who got a home to go to. See,
this is not our home. That's what Jacob and Abraham
and Isaac understood. That they had no dwelling place
on this earth. They were strangers and pilgrims.
And they spent their whole lives looking for a city whose builder
and maker was God. And believe it or not, beloved,
while they were on this earth, they never found it. But they
went there when it was over. They went to that. That's what
our Lord says. He said, you know, we will go and sit down with
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of God. So we know
that's where they're at. And I'd love to think about it,
and I look forward with great joy to being there someday, and
it won't be near as long as it has been. I mean, it's joyful
to think about going. You know, some of you all lived
in some pitiful houses in your lifetime. You know, you lived
in houses that were cold and windy, and tar paper on them,
and wind would blow through them, outside outhouses behind them
and little houses behind the big houses you know and I mean
it was tough but would you would you want to go back to that after
the homes you live in now? well that's what it is about
living in this body this old body is just an old house it's
an old winds of change and winds blow through it and it's got
leaks and it gets cold and it gets desperate conditions Would
you want to live in this house or go to that place that Christ
is going to close us up with that house from heaven on high? Living in a shack here? Or that
new body that Christ is going to provide for us? And that's
what we're talking about. And that's why we... and we don't... Can you imagine what it's like to
live Constantly and continually in the presence of the Lord.
It says the Lamb shall dwell in the midst of them. Huh? And that's what Paul said, you
know, I'm in a strait between two. I'm in this great narrow
between two things. I long to depart and be with
Christ, but it's far better to stay with you. For me to die
is gain. To die is gain. And he said,
oh my, I'm in this awful strain. This, you know, to be with God,
dwell with Christ is far better for me. Far better for me, but
this is not God's will, just yet I have to stay here and preach
to you. That's what he said. Well, let me tell you, you know,
what does heaven look like? Where's it at? How big is it? What will we have when we get
there? These are questions that human carnal religionists are
interested in. I hope that's not our primary
concern. But still, by God's grace, we
need some idea of heaven because it's going to be our eternal
home. It's going to be our eternal home. And so I want to say some
things about it. And I believe the scriptures
teaches us about it. First I know this, that heaven
is a real place. Our Lord called it the kingdom
of heaven. He said, I came down from heaven. He told the thief,
today thou shalt be with me in paradise. Heaven is a real place. Our Lord Jesus Christ is there.
I do know that. He's there sitting on his throne.
I know that all the dead in Christ are there. Everyone that Christ
calls out of this world immediately go into his presence We're living souls inhabiting
dying bodies And I also know this the angels of God are there
the angels of God worship him day and night. I Remember when
John got there he fell down before the angels and they told get
up. Oh We are servants in God Worship God and Him only. And
I know this about heaven. Heaven is a place prepared by
God Himself for His elect and purchased by the blood of our
Lord Jesus Christ for His elect. And oh, let me tell you a few
things about it. It's a place of rest. It's a
place of rest. Oh, we never have no real rest
here. Only rest we know about here
is what we have in Christ. Our bodies don't seem like they
never get enough rest. I see some of y'all when you
come here, you just barely can't sit up, and you barely can't
go. And I'll tell you, your bodies
just don't get enough rest. My body don't get enough rest.
But I have a rest in Christ, but I'm going to go to a place
where there will never ever be no more tiredness. There will
be perfect rest. Perfect rest. And it's a place
of peace. No wars. No rumors of war. No more fighting within. Fears
without. No more struggles of heart, mind,
and conscience. No more misunderstandings. No
more at all. A place of perfect peace. And
oh, listen. And it's a place where love dwells
eternally. Perfect love. Beautiful love. Glorious love. Powerful love. Dwells there eternally. Perfect
love. Oh, listen. Love is perfect. We say, oh, you just don't know
how much I love you. And we do love people here. Oh,
how we love people here. But, oh, there is going to be
a perfect love. Powerful love. Never ending love. And I'll tell you something else
about what's going to be like that. It's going to be a place
of satisfaction. I mean you'll be perfectly and
completely satisfied for once in your life. Perfect satisfaction. Satisfaction. But all the fullness, the beauty,
the glory of heaven are things beyond the scope of human understanding
or description. Look with me over in 2 Corinthians
chapter 12. I want you to look at this right
here. Look what the apostle said. 2 Corinthians chapter 12. Talking
about heaven. It's just things beyond the human
understanding or description. And all the apostles said here
in verse 2 He said, I knew a man in Christ about 14 years ago
whether in the body I cannot tell or whether out of the body
I cannot tell God's the only one who knows that He said, I
knew a man caught up in business, this man was in Christ But this
man, that in Christ, whether he's in the body or out of the
body, only God knows that. He's such a one. This man was
caught up to the third heaven. God caught him up and took him
all the way to glory. And look what he says. And I
knew such a man. Whether in the body or out of
the body, I can't tell. God knows that. He said, I don't
know whether I was in the body or out of the body. I don't know
how. I don't know what was going on. But I do know this. How that
this man was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words.
He said, I went up there and all these folks who go to, you
know, they see these great lights and they get to go to heaven
and they come back and they tell you what it was like. Paul went
up there and he came back and said, I can't tell you what it's
like. You couldn't get it if I could tell you. You couldn't
understand it if I could tell you. I heard words that I cannot
come back and convey to you. And look what he said, and it's
not lawful, it's just not possible for a man to utter. If I come
back and told you, you wouldn't get it. So the next time you
hear somebody that went to heaven and came back and tell you what
it's like, they're lying. They've got a false vision, they've
seen a false God, they had a false life, everything about us is
a lie. Cause ain't nobody went up there and they never come
back. Except Paul. And when he got back he said,
I can't tell you, I just can't tell you, I just ain't got words. But oh beloved heaven is not
a place of carnal sins. You know they spilled my cabin
next door to Jesus. There ain't going to be a cabin
in that place. Thank God you're going to live
in a cabin. We have cabins here. A lot of folks have cabins for
vacation places. They leave out their mansions
and go to a cabin to have a good weekend. Heaven is not a place
of human imagination. You know, I've heard folks talk
about, you know, they're gonna have golden fishing rods for
setting fish in heaven in the river of life up there. Oh my
goodness, just unbelievable. People all the time, you know,
I know one fellow all the time, every time some musician dies,
he says they're playing their guitar in heaven now. They're
singing for Jesus now. No, they're not! No! No, we worship God there. The only song that's sung is
the song of the Lamb. Unto him that was slain and redeemed
is unto God by His own blood. That's what we're singing about.
Oh, listen. And whatever our highs, our granders,
our most spiritual truths about heaven fall far, far short of
its reality. That's why John said, Behold! Behold! It does not yet appear
what we shall be. And Paul said, Behold, I show
you a mystery, and I know this, that heaven is not a place of
human intellect, and I don't know what the fullness and glory
of heaven will be, but I know this, I know this for sure, there'll
be no tears there. There'll be no tears there. There'll
be no sorrow there. Huh? Ain't that what it says
there in verse 17? It says, God shall wipe away
all tears from their heads. And what a great, blessed, comforting
fact about our internal inheritance. God Himself shall wipe away our
tears. But let me say a few things before
I get to that. I'll tell you something, there's
much, much weeping, much crying on the way to heaven. A lot of
crying on the way to heaven. Our faith, the faith in Christ
and our Lord Jesus delivers us from all curse and condemnation.
No condemnation. But our faith in Christ and Christ
himself does not deliver us from pain and trouble and heartache
and sorrow in this world right here. It doesn't do it. And I
tell you, everybody in this world suffers to some degree. Believers suffer many things
along with other men. We have physical pain. There's
people no doubt sitting here in physical pain this morning.
There's people here that may be sick of their stomach, have
headaches or whatever, but we're subject to physical pain and
sickness. And just like people, God's people are subject to financial
losses. There's people that lose their
jobs, you know, believers lose homes, they lose finances, they
have troubles, they have heartaches like everybody, and they lose
loved ones and they're bereaved and their heart aches. They have
family troubles, they have trouble with their children, they have
trouble in their marriages, they have trouble in all kinds of
family ways, and they have disappointments, all the disappointments we've
had in our lifetimes. And there's many, many things
that brings tears to our eyes that the world, now we go through,
the world goes through things, we go through them with them.
We're not immune to them because we believe in Christ. And that's
why these preachers that preach this business, health and wealth
gospel, listen, I'm telling you something. They're lying to people
when they say the only reason you suffer is because you don't
have enough faith. Our Lord Jesus Christ had perfect
faith. And he suffered more than anybody
else. Paul had faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ like none of us ever had. And yet he suffered greatly in
his body. Simon Peter, oh how he suffered
in his body. And I'll tell you one thing,
beloved, I'll tell you just as sure as you were born. You know
why? We're under the curse. And what the world suffers, we
gonna suffer. And just because we have faith
in Christ, that don't make us immune. And there are many things
which bring tears to our eyes that the world absolutely knows
nothing about. This is something the world don't
know nothing about. They don't know nothing about us suffering
over sin and sin bringing tears to our eyes. Does sin ever bring
tears to your eyes? Do you ever start repenting of
your sin and telling God how sinful you are and how miserable
you are? Do you have this awful struggle
with sin in your heart? And you cry and say, Oh Lord,
I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, human being, everyone, God, how could
you? Oh Lord, I'm ashamed to get up and try to say a thing
or do anything sin. Oh, I've got so much trash and
so much carnality about me. Oh, the world don't know nothing
about struggling with sin. They don't know nothing about
struggling to have contentment and resigning to God's will and
just praying and struggling to have contentment. Oh, to be content? To actually say, Lord, I'm content
with where you put me and what I'm going through? They don't
know nothing about struggling with resigning to yourself, to
God's will. Oh my, we have, we tear, you
know, wounded, injured pride. That will bring tears to our
eyes. Oh my, we get wounded and our pride will get hurt. And
all unbelief, oh, don't that bring tears to your eyes. How
many times have you wept over your unbelief? Lord, I believe,
oh, I believe, I believe, I believe, but oh God, help my unbelief. Oh, I would believe perfectly,
but I can't. And if I've not heard people
say, Christ died for every sin but unbelief, well, then I'm
lost and I'll end up in hell because I've got enough unbelief
to damn us all. I'm going to tell you only one
sin Christ didn't die for. I'm going to tell you. You want
to know what sin Christ didn't die for? I'm going to tell you
what sin He didn't die for. That's the blasphemy against
the Holy Ghost. He said there'll never be forgiveness
for that sin in this world or the world to come. Every other
sin Christ atoned for. And He atoned for before you
and I ever committed. You didn't thank me. You don't.
Do you think He didn't know we'd have unbelief when He died for
us? Oh, bless His name. And anger? Oh my goodness, surely,
surely we don't get angry, do we? We don't even get angry. You know, this is one of the
awfulest faults we have. And this brings such tears to
our eyes. It grieves us to no end and we say, God help me and
I don't want to do that again. But you know who we show our
anger at more than anybody else? the people that's the closest
to us. We take our anger out on our
wives, on our husbands, or whoever's the closest to us. When we're mad at somebody else,
we take it out on the person closest to us. When somebody
upsets us, we end up taking it out on the one we love the most.
And oh, if God would just give us grace to turn around and say,
I'm sorry, I wasn't mad at you, I was mad at somebody else, but
I didn't mean to take it out. Does that ever bring tears to
your eyes? And oh, coldness of heart, depression. We think, well, how could I be
depressed? How could I be down? How could I be down knowing Christ? And preachers talk about joy,
and they talk about peace, and they talk about heaven. And here
I am, I'm sitting here depressed. Here I am, I feel so low. I feel
like I'm just about as low as anybody can go. How in the world,
and then how could I know Christ and be this depressed? Those
bring tears to our eyes. And let me tell you, we even
shed some very precious tears here. Tears is precious. God
said He bothers me. And I'll tell you what, these
are the tears that will be dried on the other side of Jordan.
We have tears of repentance. I'll tell you, beloved, I have
to do this, I don't know how many times a week I go through
this. I'll do something and I'll say, Lord, I'm so sorry for doing
that. Lord, forgive me. And oh, I'm so sorry for that,
I'm just, oh God, but I'll tell you one thing, I've learned this.
I've learned this and you'll learn it in time yourself. That
you never ever promise that you won't do it again. Don't do that. But we have tears of repentance.
And oh how many times have we wept in sympathy over somebody
else and their troubles. and their heartaches. How many
times have you sat and wept with sympathy over somebody and their
heartaches or their troubles? Wept at somebody's graveside,
wept at a casket, wept at somebody's heartache, wept at somebody's
trouble, wept at somebody's bad news. How many times have we wept tears
of sympathy? How many times have we wept?
These are precious tears here now. Tears of concern. You know, and nobody sees them,
but you, you're concerned about somebody. You're concerned where
they're at, what they're going through, and the troubles they're
having. You're concerned about maybe their coldness or they're
drifting away, and you have tears of concern over them. And how
many times have we wept and said, Lord, I long for your presence.
Oh, let me be done with this world. Let me be done with myself.
Let me be done with sin. Let me be done with unbelief.
Let me be done with this body of sin once and for all. And
long for His presence. Let me tell you this, right now,
even now, our Heavenly Father, Does an awful, awful lot to dry
our tears, even right here, right now. Huh? You want me to show
you that? Look over in Isaiah 43, excuse
me, Isaiah 25 first. I got two or three things I want
you to see. Look in Isaiah 25. You know, a believer's life is
not a morbid life of sorrow, even here. No, no. The one thing we are is we're
realists. And our Lord in His sovereign mercy and grace does
much to comfort our hearts even right in the midst of all of
our troubles and tears. Look what he said here in Isaiah
25 in verse 8. He will swallow up death in victory
and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces and
the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the
earth for the Lord has spoken. Death and tears go together and
God will do away with both of them at the same time. Look over
here in Isaiah 35 verse 10. He does much to dry our tears
while we are here. And I'll tell you a story, so
as you know it's a blessing. It's a blessing to have somebody
when you're weeping and you're sorrowful and you've got tears
for somebody to weep with you. Somebody to understand with you.
Somebody says, I know, I really know. I'll tell you all a story. And this just happened recently.
You all know Bruce Crabtree very, very well. Oh, he's a sweet,
sweet man. What a preacher he is. Him and
I fell on one another the other day and just wept and wept and
wept. He wept just as much as I did over my weakness. He wept
because I wept. He grieved because I grieved. And he said, I can't do a thing
in the world but grieve with you. It hurts me to see you hurt.
Now that's what we're talking about. Only God can cause something
like that to happen. But look what he said here in
verse 10. Isaiah 35, 10. and the ransomed of the Lord
shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy
right on their heads and they shall obtain joy and gladness
and sorrow and sight shall flee away now look in Isaiah 43 this
is one of all of our favorite verses right here look here in
the first two verses Isaiah 43 Oh, but now thus saith the Lord,
saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee,
O Israel, fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called
thee by name, thou art mine. Now listen, when thou passest
through the waters, I'll be with you. And through the rivers,
they won't overflow you. When thou walkest through the
fire, Like Hebrew children did, thou
shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon us.
Oh, how our Lord comforts us and meets our needs even on the
way to glory. And I tell you, how does He do
it? How does He comfort us and bless us on our way? I tell you
what He does. He, in sovereign mercy, gives
us the ability, gives us the grace to resign ourselves to
His will. Say, Lord, not I will, but you
will be done. Lord, I don't want my will. Please
don't leave me to my will. I want your will to be done.
I want to give myself over to your will. And whatever your
will is, oh Lord, that's what we do. And He gives us faith. Faith in His providence. Faith
to believe that everything He's doing for us in this world is
just exactly right and the way it should be. Not the way we
maybe want it to be. Not the way that gives us the
greatest comfort in this world, but it's the way that He chose
for us and the path He chose. And we say, Oh Lord, Your wisdom
is behind it and Your goodness is behind it. And we say, Oh
God, Your providence is just perfect. And I told her, I told her Wednesday
night, I said this, Scott Richardson said this one time, and some
of you I wasn't here, but it's worth repeating again. Talk about
God's properties. Scott said this, if we had all
the, if we had God's power, we'd change everything. But if we
had God's wisdom, we absolutely wouldn't change a thing. Ain't
that right? And oh, He reminds us, this is
how He tries our tears on our way. He reminds us of His gracious
purpose. He's willing us away. He's changing
us. He's conforming us. He's got
us purposed to call us and justify us and glorify us. And then He
causes us to remember His promises. He has said, He has said, I'll
never leave you. That's enough. Why do we know
He'll never leave us? Because He said He would. So
since He said He'll never leave us, we say, therefore I will
not fear. Why? Because God said it. What
did He say? I'll never leave you. So I'm going to say, I'm going
to boldly say it. How are you going to boldly say
it? Because God said it. The Lord is my helper. How do
you know he's your helper? He said he was! That's why the Lord's my helper. He blesses our hearts with the
knowledge of our Lord's great, great love for us sometimes.
And then often times he removes the cause of our pain. And oh,
this is one of the things he uses to dry our tears on our
way to glory. He gives us brothers and sisters.
Brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters to share our lives
with, who understand and love us just the way we are. Take
us the way we are. Oh, what a blessed, blessed thing.
And then He causes our hearts to be fixed upon the things of
Christ. He does. Let me show you that
over here in 2 Corinthians. Chapter 4 in just a minute. Oh,
listen to this. You need to see this. This is
something that blesses my heart and I hope it does yours. It
causes our hearts to be fixed upon the things of Christ. But
look what he said here down in St. Corinthians 4 in verse 15. He says this. He says, For all things are for
your sakes. What? You mean all things work together?
He said everything is for your sakes. For your sakes. Now watch
this. That the abundance, grace, might,
through the thanksgiving of many, redound to the glory of God.
When you see things happening to people, you start to give
thanks to God for His grace and now He's upholding and God gets
the glory. And then look what he goes on,
because God gets the glory and all things are ours and we give
thanks for His grace, for which cause we faint not, for though
our outward man perish, and boy we sure see that don't we? Yet the inward man, God renews
him day by day. He ain't gonna let it go. And
listen, for our lot of affliction, which is but for a moment, You
know why it's a light affliction? Light in what Christ suffers.
Light in light of how long we have to do it. Just for a moment. That's all we're here. It works
for us a far more exceeding and eternal way to glory. Now listen
to it. While we look not at the things
which are seen. You know what God lets us do?
He lets us receive things and then He lets us leave those things
that we see and rise above them. But at the things which are not
seen. Oh, what we see here, we say, oh, listen, this is going
to come to a close. It's going to come to an end.
So we're not going to dwell on that. We're going to look on
those things above. And oh, for everything you're looking at
right now is temporary. Everything and everybody you're
looking at is temporary. But the things that you don't
see, they are forever. Forever. And oh beloved, listen. Look what it says now, back over
in our text. For God in heaven, God shall
wipe away all tears. He'll lead them, and in heaven
God will remove all tears from our eyes. Heaven is a place of eternal
glory and bliss. And I'll tell you something else,
and it ever, ever increases. When we get there, it's just
going to... What are we saying to that old hill that you've
been there 10,000 years? We've just begun. Just begun. When we stand in here weeping
over somebody, at their passing, they're rejoicing in glory. And
one of these days we'll go there and then our tears will be wiped
away. And the source of heaven itself,
you know what it is? God. If God didn't wipe away
all tears from our eyes, there would be much, much weeping in
heaven. And I'll tell you something, I read this years ago, and I
heard a lot of preachers preach this years ago in fundamentalism,
that were pre-millennials. They said that there were going
to be a lot of people going to heaven and be crying when they
got up there. And this is the reason they'd say, but I tell
you what, it's not so. But if God didn't wipe away all
tears from ours, there'd be much, much weeping in heaven. We'd
weep over our past sins. That old things are passed away
and all things become new. We'd weep over our unconverted
ones left behind. You've heard this story and said,
Mama's looking down on me. No, no, she's in glory. She ain't
even thought of you. You ain't crossed her mind. She
forgot you ever existed. That would be awful if Mama had
to look down from heaven and see this mess. Oh my goodness,
look down on him, the glory of Christ and enjoying him, and
look down and say, oh my poor baby, my poor baby, that's just
utterly ridiculous. Oh my goodness. And all over our wasted opportunities,
oh I should have done that, I could have thought I said this and
I would have done that. This person could have been converted and
all that. And oh, we'd weep over the terrible price of our redemption.
We have weep over our unkindness and lack of love to our brethren
while we are upon the earth. But oh bless his holy name. When
we get to glory we won't even, none of those things will even,
won't even remember them. Listen, do you think, you know
everybody here has somebody that they believe is in glory. Rejoice
in him. And do you think for a minute,
for a minute, that they have ever thought a bad thought or
had a tear? Huh? No. No. But God shall wipe away all
our tears from our eyes. That's what he says, from their
eyes. He'll remove every cause of our
grief. This is what I love. This is
what I love about going to glory. He'll remove us from all sin
and all sin from us. We sing that old song, you know. There it is, Christ's our altar.
But anyway, one of the last verses says this, sin, sins and sin
will molest us no more. Sin and sense will molest us
no more. He'll remove all sin from us
and us from all sin. And all fear of change will be
gone, will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. Every
desire of our hearts will be gratified when we get there.
We want to be like Christ? We will. We want to see Christ? We will. We want to love Him
perfectly? We will. Serve Him unceasingly? We will. Worship Him without
sin, we will. Know Him perfectly, we will.
And rest in Him completely, we will. We will. We will. We will. And I tell you, we'll
love our Lord Jesus Christ and we'll have Him entirely. Just
like He's the only one that knows us and we're the only one that
knows Him. And we'll enjoy Him fully. David said, I will be
satisfied. when I wake in His likeness. Now let me ask you some questions. It said here the great company
gathered around, a multitude that no man could number. And they said, John said, where'd
they come from? And he says, they've got their
robes and they've washed them white in the blood of the Lamb.
And they came through here out of much trials and tribulations
and sorrows and heartaches. And he says they're here. And
they're clothed in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. They've
got palms in their hands. And they're waving. Remember
when our Lord Jesus Christ came into Jerusalem and all those
people had palms in their hands and they were saying Hallelujah,
Hosanna. The King of David, the Lord of Glory is coming through
here, riding on the coat, the fold of an ass, and all of them
said, shut up, shut up. And they just waved them that
much more. Well, that's what will happen in heaven. They said,
they got palms there and said, Oh, salvation under our God who
lives and reigns forever. And I'll tell you what, let me
ask you this. Will you be among those that
get to go? Will you be among that happy,
blessed people that's in glory? Now let me tell you, not one
soul deserves to be with Christ in heaven. But I'm not going
because I deserve to go. I'm going because Christ bought
me and paid for me and put my sin away and promised to take
me where He is and be with me where He is. But many will be
there All who love His name, do you love His name? All who are chosen of God, all
who submitted to Him here, to rule over them, to teach them,
to cleanse them and make them acceptable. Will you? Will you be among them? Will you be among them? For you and when Christ calls,
and He's calling, He's calling, calling, calling. We see this
old body, we see it fading away, we see friends and loved ones
getting weaker and weaker. Let me ask you, if the Lord calls you, and I'm not trying
to scare you, I'm not trying to do that at all, this is just
a fact of reality. If you leave this world, in the
next few days, would you end up with Christ in glory? Or not? You're the only one who
can answer that question. And you know what our Lord said
in that place, one thing about it, He says, there will be weeping
and wailing. There won't be none of that in
glory. But it would be that other place, weeping and waiting. I
ain't going there. I'm going to go where God wiped
away all the tears. Oh, Father, Father, Father. Oh,
gracious, gracious Father. Our Father, our Father. How wonderfully
gracious and kind and merciful you are to us. Lord, it's a miracle
of your grace that we're here That we can hear, that we can
believe, that we do believe, that we have such a blessed hope
to be made like Christ and to be with Christ forever. That
we'll see him as he is and be made just like him. Oh, what
a miracle. And what a miracle that we believe
it. What a wonder of the working of the grace of God, the power
of God, that we believe these things, look forward to these
things, rejoice in these things. And oh Father, for Christ's sake,
for Christ's sake, stir in hearts, stir in minds, bring faith, bring
Christ to the heart, bring the love of God to the heart, bring
Christ and his glory to the mind, to the heart, to the eyes of
faith. Oh, we thank you for him. Thank
you for the saints of God. Save you people. Oh God, please
for Christ's sake. Amen. Amen. Let's sing 125. Everybody knows this song. Let's
stand together. Everybody knows it. Everybody
ought to be able to sing it. But all I love this hymn. Because
it's so true. It's just the way it is. I'm here to stay the same It's
not a trend, it isn't wrong The sound of the breeze is what you
make I'm here to be That's what we do, don't we? Jesus made it all, all to Him
I owe. Sin and love, the crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow. O night I've got this fight in the blood
of every slave PRABHUPÄ€DA Oh, this is it. Well, God willing, I'll see you
tonight at six o'clock.
