Chapter 6, verse 16. Most people's problem is they
don't have a need. Men don't come to Christ until
they have a need. And our Lord, when He spoke to
men, He spoke to them in their need. If you're thirsty, Come
to me. If you're hungry, come to me.
If you've got a burden, you come to me. And that's why until somebody has got a need,
they ain't gonna come. And only God can create the need.
And that's why we pray, Lord, create that need. Produce in
people a need. Only God can do that. And once
he ever creates that need, bless his holy name, he just increases
your need, don't he? Makes you need him that much
more. The more you know about him, the more you want him, the
more you need him. John 6, verse 15. When Jesus therefore perceived
that they would come and take him by force to make him a king,
he departed again into a mountain, himself alone. And when evening
was come, his disciples went down into the sea, under the
sea, and entered into a ship and went over the sea toward
Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. So when
they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, and
see Jesus walking on the sea and drawing nigh under the ship,
and they were afraid. He saith unto them, It is I,
be not afraid. Then they willingly received
him into the ship, and immediately the ship was at the land where
they went. Now our Lord had just got through
feeding five thousand men. That don't count the women and
the children that were there. So you're probably talking seven
thousand, seventy-five hundred people. Just the men. He just
talked about the men. So he had fed this great multitude
with five barley loaves and two small fishes, and took up twelve
baskets left over. And when they saw that, they
said, Oh, this is a mighty prophet. And our Lord said, when they
perceive, perceive that they're going to make him a king. And
so what they thought was, if we'll make him the king, oh my,
we'll never have to worry about anything else again. He said,
he'll feed us when we're hungry. Oh my, He'll just give us, I
mean, we'll have a reign with Him as King. We won't have war
of nothing. He'll take care of us. All we
got to do, just wherever He's at, we'll sit down and He'll
feed us. He'll just take care of us. That mentality. And oh, there'll be so much under
His reign. And then it says, look what it
says, when He saw that they was going to take Him by force to
make Him a king. So by force, he departed unto
a mountain himself alone to pray. When he saw they were going to
take him by force and make him a king, they'd done this two
different times. But you see, he went himself unto his mountain
alone, he went up there to be alone with God, to be alone with
his Father, to be alone to pray. And as our Lord told us to enter
into our closet, he entered into his closet to be with his Father. And the reason he wouldn't let
them take him by force was because he didn't come to be that kind
of a king. There's two ways he showed us
that he was king. When he came meek and lowly riding
upon a colt, a foal of an ass, and they missed him there. And
he came to wear a crown of thorns. They said, oh, he's hell king
of the Jews, and they put a crown of thorns on his head. He didn't
come to wear an earthly crown. He came to wear a crown of derision,
a crown of mockery, a crown of thorns, and then they would mock
Him and make fun of Him. And beloved, one of these days
they'll see Him sitting on His throne with all power and glory
vested in Him. And so the disciples, they waited
till the evening. They waited till in the evening
for the Lord Jesus to come, to come back down off of that mountain.
to be with them, because to go on the other side of the lake,
to go over to Capernaum. And they was waiting and waiting,
and it started getting late. Ain't that what he says in verse
16? He said, And when the evening
was now come, his disciples went down out of the sea. And in other
places, it says, you know, he told his disciples to go over
to Capernaum, and they went up, and they kept waiting and waiting
and waiting, and the Lord Jesus never came. And so what happened
was, is that they got in that ship, And they said, well, we're
going over to the other side. Maybe he'll meet us over there.
But anyway, look what happens. God created, I told you, has
to create a need. And they became, when Christ
wasn't there, when Jesus was not come to them, and it was
now marked, it was there in verse 17, and they entered into a ship
and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark,
and Jesus was not come to them, and the sea arose by reason of
a great wind that blew. God gave them a conscious need.
You see, their condition at this particular time was painful and
frightening. They started out, perfectly nice
evening, perfectly beautiful evening. The Lord Jesus was going
to come down and be with them, but He didn't show up. So they
said, we'll go on our own. We're going our own way. And
right about a little while after I was in that ship, a great storm
started coming. And when we least expect it,
when we least expect it, God always sends a storm. And we
don't know when He's going to send it. We don't know how He's
going to send it. But He's going to send a storm.
He's going to create a need to cause us to look to Him, to turn
to Him, and trust Him, and call on Him. And look what it says,
it was painful and frightening. It said it was now dark. Now
dark. And Jesus was not come to them,
but the sea arose by reason of a great wind. These fellas had
threefold trouble. They had threefold trouble. First
of all, the dark. Dark. Darkness. And that's what
happens, beloved, darkness. I mean, you know, Darkness is
a horrible thing. Darkness is a horrible thing.
Look with over at John chapter 3 and verse 19. And you know
man's born in darkness. When these fellas were in darkness,
they were in darkness. And let's look at this spiritually.
They were in natural darkness. And man's in natural darkness.
He can't see the light of Christ. He can't see the light that the
Lord Jesus Christ is. They can't see light. And these
fellas in the middle of the night, they can't produce light. They
couldn't produce light. He said, oh, I'd love to have
some light around him, but there ain't no light and they can't
make it. And look what he said here in John 3, 19. And this is the condemnation,
the judgment that light, Christ, has come into the world. And
what do men do? They love their darkness rather
than light. I'll live in my darkness. I don't
like the light. I'll live in my darkness. I'll
live in my sin. I'll live in my self-righteousness.
I'll live in my self-confidence. I'll live in my self-reliance.
I'll live in my way I want to live. I don't need... You fellas
talk about life. I don't know what you're talking
about. I'm happy in my darkness. I enjoy my darkness. I enjoy
my sin. I enjoy my self-righteous life.
I enjoy my morality. And oh, they love it. Look again
over here in John's Gospel, chapter 1, verse 4. And that's why he
says the understanding is darkened. Man's understanding is darkened,
you know. And when a man's got darkened,
his understanding is darkened, he can't enter in. And when the
Lord Jesus comes in, one of the first things he does is he turns
in the first thing you see. When God commanded the light
that shone out of darkness, the first thing you see is light.
But now look what happens here in John chapter 1 and verse 4,
in him, in Christ was life, and the life was the light of men.
Now listen, and the light shines in darkness, and the darkness
comprehended it not. The darkness didn't comprehend
it. How many times does Christ shine his light and the darkness
don't get it? Darkness don't know when light's on. Only people
that got eyes to see can see the light when it comes on. When
you're sitting in the dark, and you're in dark, and you understand
it's dark, and you turn on the light, and the darkness just
don't see it, and don't grasp it, and don't understand it.
And oh, first thing you say out of these, they was in darkness.
Darkness. And I mean, they can't produce
their own light. They can't do anything about
getting light. They're out there in the midnight,
they're out there in the dark, and that's where you are without
Christ. You're in the dark. Look what else happened over
here again back in chapter 6. Then not only were they in darkness,
but they were in danger. Look what he said in verse 16. And 18. And the darkness and
the sea arose by reason of a great wind. Not only were they in darkness,
but they were in danger. The sea started rising. It was
about to get into great big waves, great wind went to blow it. Our
Lord said, you know, He said, a wise man, when the winds come
and the rains blow and the floods rise, he's a wise man who's built
his house on a rock. And beloved, here we are, these
fellas are out in the sea, they're out there, and this great sea
arose, and a great wind, and these men were under danger.
They're under great danger of being drowned, under great danger
of the ship being turned over. And they're in great danger,
just like Noah's bunch was in the day of Noah. You know, as
in the day of Noah, Noah preached righteousness for a hundred and
twenty years. And he kept saying, there's coming
a flood, there's coming a flood, there's coming judgment, there's
coming judgment. Water's going to come, the winds
are going to blow, and the rains are going to come. And judgment's
going to come. And here these fellows are, they're
out there in this great danger, and ought to be without the danger
that bends them. I told my own children yesterday
afternoon, I said, you know, You're without hope and without
them, but Mary's got a hope, but none of you have a hope! You know what it's like to be
without a hope? To go into eternity without a
hope? To go out into danger without
a hope? To face God without a hope? And that's what these people,
the danger that man's under. Don't you understand the danger? The danger of assumption. I assume
that I'm alright. I assume that I'm a Christian.
I assume that I'm a believer. And then the danger of presumption.
You mean to tell me you don't think I'm a Christian? I don't
know what you are. Only God knows that. But the
presumption, and then the ignorance. Oh, the danger of being in ignorance. God save us from ignorance. Save
you from the ignorance of your superstition and your presumption
and your superstition and your traditions. Oh, that's why, do you know,
that's why the Lord said, if the light is in you, it's darkness. How great is that darkness? If
what little light you've got, is bound by superstition, and
bound by traditions, and bound by your opinions, and bound by
your presumptions. And yes, I'm a Christian, of
course. What do you think I am? Listen, you think I'm a heathen?
I know you're a heathen. God knows you're a heathen. God
only saves heathens. God only saves sinners. God only
saves men that's in darkness and in danger. He don't save
anybody else. And then look here, not only
was it dark and dangerous, but there was a desertion. Oh, look
what it says back in verse 17. And Jesus, it was now dark and
Jesus would not come to them. Oh. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is there
all the time. That's what most folks think.
But Jesus was not going to them. It's awful, awful to be in darkness. It's awful to be in danger, and
yet to be dangerous around it. But to be out in that darkness,
to be out in that danger, and to be out there and not the Lord
Jesus Christ being with you? Christ not being there? And you know, I know that men's
told and preachers told people that Jesus loves you, or they've
been told that so they absolutely do not care about the Lord Jesus
Christ and His love. They've been told so many times
that God loves them that they care not about the love of God.
They've been told so much that Jesus died for them that they
don't care about the death of Christ. They've been told so
long that they're good people that they'll never understand
what it is to be a wretched sinner. They'll never understand it.
And, oh, but to be out there in this desert, dark, dangerous,
deserted place without Christ would be awful. To be without
the Lord Jesus Christ. And there's multitudes and multitudes
in this condition, and they don't know it. Don't know it. You can
look at them and tell them, and they don't know it. But, oh, beloved, these fellows
had it. They was in threefold trouble. And you know, look over
Psalm 107 with me just a minute. I want to show you this. Just
thought of this. Just thought of this. Blessed be the Lord
for opening my mind to this. Look what it says here at 107.
I want to show you this here. Look down in verse 6. Then they cried unto the Lord
in their trouble." These fellows in trouble. You
know, won't it be awful that we have to be in trouble before
we'll call on the Lord? Oh, and they cried unto the Lord
in their trouble. But listen to what He does in
their trouble. And we're going to see that in a minute. He delivered
them out of their distresses. Huh? Down in verse 13. Again, all the things that they
went through. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble. Men, do men go on down there?
Now, how many times does he say that? I think it's four times
here. Huh? And that's why he says, you know,
then, down in verse 19. Then they cried unto the Lord
in their trouble. Then. Then. What? And I tell
you what, if you want the salvation of the Lord, what we need to
pray is God give them trouble. Give them trouble, and trouble,
and trouble, and trouble. Send them so much trouble that
they can't bear it, they can't stand it. Give them so much trouble
that they can't do nothing but cry unto the Lord. And when you
cry unto the Lord, the scripture said, then, then, then, then
He saves them out of their distresses. But even us as believers, He
sends us trouble, so we'll cry unto Him. Now, let me show you
something now. And I'll tell you something these
scholars didn't do. They're going to try to save themselves. It
says down there in verse 19, So they rode about five and twenty
or thirty furlongs. You see, they just said, well,
we'll stop and pray. We'll stop and pray. And wait
on the Lord Jesus. We'll stop and pray. Or they
didn't stop and lift up their heads and start crying out for
mercy, these fellas did. They didn't say, Oh Lord, have
mercy on us. Oh Lord, come and save us. No. No. They believed it would be
alright in the end. You know what they did? They
rode, and they rode, and they rode. You know how long they
rode? They ride just 20 or 30 furlongs,
that's three and a half to four miles. Do you all know where
Jonah's at? You find the book of Jonah. I couldn't tell you where it's
at, because if I did, you'd have more trouble finding it. But
look, you go to the book of Jonah. Obadiah, Jonah. And I want to show you something.
These fellows, they wrote hard. They said, boy, we're going to
get to the other side. We're going to save ourselves.
We may be in darkness, we may be in danger, there may be a
great storm, and the Lord Jesus may not be here, but we're going
to make it on our own. We're going to be alright. We're
going to tough it out, we're going to grow, we're going to
make it, we're going to put up all of our energy, we're going
to put forth all of our effort. Now look what it said here in
Jonah chapter 1, in verse 10. Now, there's these jokers on
this ship. You all know the story. Then
the men were exceedingly afraid and said unto him, Why hast thou
done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of
the Lord, because he had told them. Then they said unto him,
What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us?
For the sea wrought most impetuous. And he said unto them, This is
the gospel. Take me up, and cast me forth
into the sea. You take me up, throw me overboard,
and you all will be saved. You all will be saved. You throw
me, substitution, you throw me overboard. And that's what he
said in the Sylphy comma under you. For this, I know for my
sake this script emphasis upon you. He says throw me overboard
and your salvation is by me dying, by me drowning. But look what
else, look what happens though. Nevertheless, We don't want to
be saved that way. We don't want to be saved by
substitution. We want to be saved by somebody
else being thrown overboard for our pleasure. We don't want to
know what says, the men rode hard to bring it to land. But
listen to what it says, that they could not. They could not. They couldn't do it. You can't
do it. You can't get no matter how hard you rode, you'll never
get to that other shore. No matter how hard you row, you're
not going to save yourself. No matter how hard you row, that
storm's not going to stop. And oh, let's go back over in
our text. Oh, listen. But now look what it all, the
danger, the darkness, the desertion, rowing hard to save yourself.
Look what happens now. They're out there without Christ,
but now look what happens. So then they rode about three
and a half or four miles. They see, now listen to this,
they see Jesus walking on the sea and drawing night under the
ship. Oh, they see the Lord Jesus.
What's He doing? What's He doing? Walking on the
water, walking on the sea. This sea is still a storm. I can just see him walking from
wave to wave. Here's the Lord Jesus, just calm.
And those fellas out there, they're scared to death, they're rowing
hard. And they decided, you know, we'll go on without the Lord,
we'll go on without the Lord, we can get there. And then there
they are, they're just rowing as hard as they can. Big old
waves, and here comes the Lord Jesus, stepping from wave to
wave. step and watch and watch. And oh my, they seen walking
on, and listen, this is what I like, going nigh unto the shin. Oh, listen, when you're in the
most trouble, that's when He's really going to come. He's coming, he's knocking, he's
waiting, he's waiting and waiting until this fellow's got in such
a state that they would really, really be so grateful to see
him, so blessed to see him, so thankful to see him, so rejoiceful
to see him. And oh, and let's draw a line
to the ship. That's the most blessed sight,
oh, the most blessed sight a soul in trouble will ever see, is
the Lord Jesus Christ. The most joyful sight that a
sinner will ever see is the Lord Jesus Christ. The most joyful
sight that a sinner, a sorrowful soul, will ever see is the Lord
Jesus Christ. The soul that's in trouble, the
most blessed sight they'll ever see is the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, my. God, you ought to look
up and see the Lord Jesus. There you are in trouble. You've
rowed and you're in the darkness, and He hasn't been there, and
you're trying to do this all on your own, and you look up. Well, we're in this storm, but
there's the Lord! There's the Lord! There's the
Lord! And the Lord Jesus. Oh, to see
the Lord Jesus, the Merciful One. The Merciful One coming. right in the midst of that darkness.
How did they know it was Him? It was dark, because He makes
Himself known in ways that you know it's Him. And, oh, the Lord Jesus, the
merciful, coming to you in the midst of the darkness. The Lord
Jesus, the mighty, The Lord Jesus with all the power, the Lord
Jesus with all the glory, the Lord Jesus with all the strength,
treading, treading on the troublesome waves coming to them, and they
was in such danger. And here He comes to them walking
on the waves of that death that those fellows thought they was
going to have. And the Lord Jesus, the Savior,
He's coming to save them. He's coming to save them. He's
not coming to make their life more comfortable. He's not coming
to make them happy. He's not coming to save them
just from hell. He's coming to save them from
the danger, the darkness, and the desertion. He's coming to
save them out of their trouble, out of the storm. And oh, Jesus
the Savior, Jesus the Redeemer, drawing nigh under these floundering
Miserable fellows rowing hard, and it didn't profit them nothing.
And look what it says. And they see Jesus walking unto
the sea and drawing them unto the ship. And you know when He
came to them? He came to them in their distress. He came to them in their danger.
He came to them in their darkness. You see, and he revealed himself.
Let me tell you something. He knows who he's revealing himself
to. He knows who to do it to. He
knows where he reveals himself. And he knows how to reveal himself. That's dark, but he reveals himself. Storm, but he reveals himself.
These fellows are roaring hard, but he reveals himself. They're
in danger, but he reveals himself. And he reveals himself. He knows
Hannah. And, oh, look what a message
he gives her. And now this gets me. And they were afraid. They were afraid. It says in
another place that they thought he was a ghost, a phantom. But, oh, they were afraid. Why
in the world? And you know, listen to what
he says. And you need to go through the Scriptures to see how many
times he says. He says, he saith unto them.
Now, they're still on the ship, and he's still on the sea. He
ain't got in that ship yet. And he's still standing on that
water. And they're in that ship, and they see him coming, and
they're afraid. And he speaks loud enough over
that wind, loud enough over that wave, and he says, it is I. Did you think I wouldn't come
to save you? Did you think I wouldn't come
to meet your needs? Did you think that I would let
you perish in your awful distress? Why would they be afraid? Afraid
he wasn't going to save them? Afraid that he was going to just
walk on by them, pass them by? Well, I tell you, he could have
done either one of those. He could have just walked right
on by the ship. He said, I'm sorry. He could have said, fellas, you see, it's His royal prerogative. And you need, we need to understand,
it's His royal prerogative to save from fear. It's His royal
prerogative to do that. And when He said, it is I, be
not afraid. This is not the Jesus of this
day. This is the language of a conqueror.
And it's I. Don't be afraid. It's the statement
of the fact. Just don't do it. That's me.
Don't do it. It's I. Oh, if it hadn't been
in this damn age, you know, that when the preacher says, now,
there we got on that boat, said, now, wait, wait, wait, wait,
Lord. Got on my heart before you can
get in here. I've got to get on my knees here
in front of this altar, and I've got to pray. I've got to cry
a whole bunch before you save me. I've got to make my decision
whether I want you to get in this boat or not. Jesus, I know you love me, but
I'm just not ready for you to save me yet. Jesus, I know you can save me,
but I'm just not ready to get out. I'm just not ready for you
to get in here yet. Oh, this storm will pass, and
I'll be alright when this storm's gone. But what will you be when
the next storm comes? But oh no, none of that was said.
They was afraid. Afraid of the storm. Maybe he was afraid they weren't
going to save him. Maybe he was afraid he'd pass him by. But he said
he'd decide. Be not afraid. Don't you be afraid of the darkness.
Why? Because I said, I'm the light
of the world. Don't be afraid of the darkness.
I'm the light of the world. Don't be afraid of death. For
I'm life. I'm life. I'm life. You can't die when you're with
me. You can't die if you're mine. You're just passing into life. And He says, be not afraid. Be
not afraid of your sins. For I am God's salvation. Don't
be afraid of your sins. I saved from sins. That's what
I came to do, to put away sins. I was sacrificing myself. Don't
you be afraid of your sins from your salvation. And oh, he says,
and I, oh, don't be afraid of death and hell. But he said,
I am he that was dead, I'm alive forevermore, and I have the keys
of hell and of death. And oh, listen, it is I. Be not
afraid. And what he said, cast all your
care upon me. Cast it all on me. Look to me. Test all your care for me. Test
your fear for me. Test your worry for me. Bring
your darkness to me and I'll dispel it. Bring all your sin
and I'll put them away. Bring everything there is about
you and just throw it on me. Test it on me. Don't fear your
past because I'll take care of it. Don't fear your present Because
I'm here right now. Don't fear your future. Because
I'll never leave you. And I'll never forsake you. Don't
do that. And then look what it said in
verse 21. Oh, look what a willing, willing reception that they gave
our Lord Jesus Christ. Would you be willing to receive
the Lord Jesus Christ? Then they willingly received
Him. Do you willingly receive the
Lord Jesus? Boy, I do. Oh, I do. Half in the middle of the night
when I'm praying, Lord, and early in the morning. Eleven o'clock
in the morning, twelve o'clock in the afternoon, four o'clock
in the morning, six o'clock in the evening, it don't make no
difference. Don't make no difference. Oh, I'm willingly receiving.
Don't you? Oh, I'm willingly receiving. And I say this, there's never
been a time that I've ever called on him, no matter what's going
on, that he didn't give me calmness about it. No matter what the fear and anxiety
was, he didn't give me calmness about it. And then look what
it says, then they willingly received him into the ship. Now
how do you reckon he got in that ship? You reckon he got there
and climbed up? Just kind of like when he told
his disciples, come and eat. And they got off that boat and
they run over there and there was fish. There was a fire and
there was fish already on the fire. And there was bread sitting
there. Now where did the fire come from? Where did the fish
come from? Where did the bread come from?
Because you know our Lord Jesus don't cook. I mean, I'm telling
you, everything about salvation is supernatural. Everything's
already done. And he walked across there and
just stepped up into that ship. And oh, when he got on that ship,
they were so happy. Oh, Lord, willingly. Oh, the Lord's in the ship. The Lord's here. And oh, they
just, when they said, I believe somebody's gonna wish over, and
I believe they started hugging him. Oscar Austin says, Oh Lord
Jesus, thank you. And oh, you're talking about
salvation. Look at how salvation, how quick
salvation is when you trust Christ. Look what it says. Can you imagine? Oh, they were ready to receive
Christ because of the storm. They were willing because He
came to them in trouble. They were willing because of
the way He came walking on the sea. And it's how He comes in
such a power and glory that makes us with Him. And the most amazing
thing is, He got into the ship with them. And then look what
happens. And immediately, the ship was
at the land where they were. Just like that. I mean, they was out there, Lord,
and the Lord Jesus walked on the water, got in the ship, and
they received Him, and immediately, they was where they were supposed
to be. Well, there's time to get it. There's time to save
ourselves immediately. Salvation was there. Immediately
they was out of the storm. How do you get a shift from here
to there without anybody doing anything? The Lord Jesus saves
men, and He saves them in such a way that He gets all the glory.
And when those fellas got to the other side, they didn't say,
boy, we done a fine job getting through that storm, didn't we?
They didn't say, oh, listen, we got there, Jesus came and
helped us. Nope. He saved us. He uses the foolish to compound
the wise, the weak to compound the mighty. And these fellas
here are so weak, and He saved them. And everything about salvation
is supernatural, it's miraculous. There's a miracle wrong out here.
And I've said it so many times over the years. Salvation people
want miracles. They want miracles. They want
to go see some preacher lay hands on somebody and throw their crutches
away and get out of their wheelchairs. They want to go and see somebody
who was blind get to sight. They want to see somebody whose
leg's shorter than another, some preacher get ahold of it and
tug on it and make it longer as even with the other. But the
greatest miracle that God ever does on the face of this earth
is save the sinner from his sin. He's got to save him from himself. And bless His name. You know
what He does? He does just like these disciples. He comes only
when they're in trouble. He comes only when they're in
trouble, when there's badness and danger. Everything's got
to be troublesome. And that's when He comes. And
when He comes, you will willingly receive Him. And when He comes,
salvation is just like that. Snap of a finger. Huh? Miraculous. They were instantly
saved, listen to me, from their dangerous position. They arrived
instantly at their destination. Do you reckon the Lord Purpose
is to be this way. Ah, boy, those fellas put their
oars back in the boat and said, man, we ain't gonna have to row
no more. No more work. Just peace and
rest. And we got into the ship. All
labor ceased. The destination's arrived at. And they said, Branton, we're
in the haven of rest. Look with me over in Titus chapter 3, and
I'll close with this. I'll close with this. Titus, that's that little book
right before the book of Hebrews. Titus chapter 3, right before
the book of Hebrews. Look in verse 5. Oh, when he got into the ship,
all labor ceased. They arrived at their destination.
And I tell you what, if Christ gets in your little old boat,
gets in your little old bark, you're willing to receive Him,
you'll get where you're going. You want salvation? There it
is. Look what He said here in Titus chapter 3 and verse 5.
Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according
to His mercy He saved us. You see that? Not by any work
we've done, but by His mercy He saved us. By the washing of
regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Gives us a new
birth. Gives us the Holy Ghost. And which He has shed on us abundantly
through Jesus Christ our Savior. Just like Him got in the ship. Now listen to this. That being
justified by His grace, We should be made heirs according
to the hope of eternal life. Justified how? By His grace.
Saved how? By His mercy. Saved how? By Him giving us life. Them fellows
was on the danger of dying, and our Lord Jesus saved them. Saved
them. May He save you. 303 here in the handbook. 303. And I'll tell you, if you feel your need of Christ,
trust Him. If you feel your need of Christ,
trust Him. If you feel like you've trusted
Christ, tell us. We'd love to hear it. Let's stand
together. He's a Savior by the name Over
the last temperature sea Unknown way before He roamed Hiding rocks Jesus, Saviour, by let me As the mother stills her child. Now kiss, honey, the ocean water,
the ocean water, the ocean water, the ocean water, the ocean water. Yes, to them be still wondrous
songs I will see Jesus, Savior, hiding me. Oh, listen. When at last I'll
be sure and the fear There's no greater or deeper Tricks beyond
the human brain And while they eat on thy bread May I eat this
day to thee Oh, bless you, Savior, gracious
God in heaven. How gracious You are. Oh, how
wonderfully gracious and merciful You are. Lord, bless the Word. Bless the
Word. Remember the ones we prayed for,
Grayson, Darren, Kim, Mary, Peggy. Oh, God bless Peggy. Strengthen
poor Peggy. And Lord Jesus, save your people.
Oh, Lord, open hearts, open understanding. And give grace to confess Christ. We ask in His holy name. Amen. See you tonight, six o'clock,
Brother Gary. I'll be preaching.
