The heavens declare the glory
of God, and the firmament showeth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth
speech, and night unto night shows knowledge. There is no
speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line
is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of
the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which
is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices
as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end
of heaven, and his circuit under the ends of it, and there is
nothing hid from the heat thereof. is perfect, converting the soul.
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the sinful.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The
commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear
of the Lord is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of the
Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than
gold, yea, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey, and
the honeycomb. Our Savior, our God, our Lord
Jesus Christ, You are Savior and You are God. We worship You
as God. We bless You for being our Savior,
our Redeemer, our Prophet, our Priest, our King. As a Prophet,
You taught us the things of God, things of Your Word. As a Priest,
You made a sacrifice for us and interceded for us. And as our
King, You provide for us and protect us. And we thank You
for that. And Lord, we Pray that you'd
be pleased to meet with us tonight, that you'd come among us, that
you'd come among us in the presence and power of the Holy Ghost,
that the saints would be blessed, that the church would be edified
and strengthened and encouraged. And Lord, we pray for those among
us who are sick, whose bodies are so weak. Pray for Peggy. Lord, you never want to forget
to pray for her. Lord, her body's so weak. And
yet she's so encouraged in heart and spirit. God bless her. Lord, strengthen her. Pray for
Mary. Oh, Lord. Lord, we're in your
hands. You can give strength, you can
give grace, and you have given grace. We thank you for it. Strength, oh Lord, just strength.
Power, calmness, peace. That's what we desire. Pray for Eleanor's niece, Joyce,
or Eleanor's cousin. Lord, we pray for her. Lord,
have mercy on her. She says she trusts you. Lord,
we take her to word. Forgive her peace and give her
comfort in her trial right now. Lord, we thank you for your people
and why you answer prayers and how you strengthen their bodies.
Pray for those who are not with us tonight through providence
or through the weakness of the body. Thank you for all the saints
that have returned from their travels. Lord, we thank you for
them. Thank you they were able to go
and enjoy themselves. But also thank you that they've
come home safely and we can worship together again. We bless you
in our Lord Jesus' name. Amen. Let's go back here to God's revelation. And what the 19th Psalm is, it's
a declaration and a revelation of God Himself. And that's what
it says there, the heavens declare the glory of God. And the firmament
shows, you can see it, His handiwork. Day under day, He talks to us. Night under night, we see knowledge.
We learn to get some knowledge. We look nights after night after
night. The night shows us lots of things.
Stars, the moon, the seasons. There is no speech, no language
where the voice is not heard. It goes everywhere. The line
is going out through all the earth. You know, the sun follows
a line around Same line. Moon, stars, stay
in the same place. There's a line, I've got a line
for them. And this is something, you know,
that there's lines all the way around the earth. And you can
measure distance by those. And every morning the sun gets
up. Watch it come up in the east, watch it go down in the west,
and what's going down in the west coming up in the east. Somebody
else is watching it coming up while it's going down here. Goes
up, comes back down, 24 hours a year. Folks watching. It's
a mysterious thing. It's a line that has to follow.
And oh, that just, that shows, that declares the glory of God. And I tell you, God has to be
declared. He has to be declared. That's
what we want to do in preaching the gospel. We want to declare
God. And secondly, God has to reveal
Himself. Not only does He must be declared,
but He has to reveal Himself. Now, God, you know, He exceeds
the limits of our human experience. I mean, He's beyond our comprehension. There's certain things we can
grasp. But as to actually know God, And all that is. You see, He exists outside of
our material experience right here, in our existence right
here. God is transcendent. I mean, He... Anyone that can
create the heavens by just speaking a word... Me and you could say
something and it just... As Floyd used to say, save your
breath, cool your coffee. That's how much our words matter
to some. But God, when He can speak, And He can declare, and
so that's who we declare. But we can only declare what
He says about Him in His own Word. We can declare what He
says about Him in the creation. And I tell you what, because
God's beyond our comprehension, outside of our existence at that
here and now. I mean, there's nothing material
about God. Nothing that you can reach and lay hold of. Nothing
that you can touch. Nothing that you can handle.
Nothing that you can feel. God, that's why we believe. That's why faith is so important.
That's why faith is so precious. Because faith, it understands
that the worlds that we're framed, we're framed by the Word of God.
We believe God. Though we've never seen Him,
yet now we believe Him and rejoice with joy unspeakable and full
of glory. But so will you know that this
is God's unknowable, except He reveals Himself, and He has to
reveal Himself directly to every individual. But out of His blessed
mercy, He has chosen and has pleased Him to reveal Himself,
not to angels. Angels always knew Him. Satan
knows Him. Satan just hates Him. But he
chose to reveal himself, not to good men, not to the best
men, not to righteous men, chose to reveal himself to fallen humanity,
people that's without strength, people that has no abilities,
people that wouldn't know God at all unless God came and made
himself known to them. And He did, He comes and makes
Himself known to people that fall in, and He got to make them
understand that they're falling. That's a missing note in today's
preaching. No conviction, no awareness of
sin, no stripping, no emptying, no pummeling, no making a man
understand the depths of the sin of his own heart. And oh,
may God arise Make us and make people know that they have absolutely
no hope, that God can make people empty us before He fills us.
Strip us naked in need of clothing. Make us understand that there's
no strength at all unless He gives it to us. And oh, and the
heavens declare His glory, and oh my! And maybe they say here,
the heavens declare God's glory. And what is God's glory? What
is God's glory? I'm going to describe it in two
ways. David here describes it, God's
glory is described in two ways. There's His intrinsic glory,
that's the glory that belongs only to Him. That has to do with
His attributes. That has to do with everything
that there is about Him that He has made known unto us. His
holiness, His justice. He's glorious in His holiness,
glorious in His justice, glorious in His goodness, in His power
and His sovereignty, in His omniscience and omnipotence. Oh, He's got
glory in all of His attributes, and He manifests His glory in
all of His attributes. Now, if we say that God does
everything for His own glory, what we mean is that God is manifesting
Himself to glorify Jesus. And I will not give my glory
to nobody else. I refuse to do it. I'm not going
to give it to a human being. That's why Paul says, you know,
it is written, if any man glory, let him glory in what? In the
Lord. And God has saved us, and saved us in such a way that He
says no flesh should glory in His presence. And oh beloved,
and in there God displays His creation, and His glory in His
creation. And then, so He's got all the
glory in His attributes, and His glory in His creation. And
then we ascribe glory to Him. We attribute to God the glory
that belongs only to Him. Huh? We recognize God's glory,
and we ascribe glory to Him. We give Him all the glory. To
God be the glory, great things He hath done. We see His glory,
so we ascribe glory to Him. We glorify Him for saving us.
We glorify Him for revealing Himself to us. We glorify Him
for His work. We glorify Him for His grace. We glorify Him
for all that He does in this world. That's why the psalmist
says, give unto the Lord glory and do unto his name. Worship
the Lord in the beauty of holiness. And I remember Bruce Crabb came
to one of our very first conferences, got up to read the scripture,
read one verse of scripture. The power of God fell on him
and fell on that knee. He just read one verse of scripture.
You know what it was? Whether therefore you eat or
drink, whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God. And O Beloved, and it's our responsibility
as believers to tell men of God's glory. Not attribute anything
to us. When we get an opportunity to
talk about God, to God be the glory. Give Him all the glory.
And O Beloved, how in the world does God reveal Himself? How
does He declare Himself to men? There's two revelations of God
right here in this psalm. He reveals Himself in the natural
revelation in creation. And then he reveals himself in
personal revelation, that he makes himself known personally
to people. And, oh beloved, look what he
said here now. Let's look at these things together. I won't
take long tonight. Oh my, look what he says here.
The heavens declare the glory of God. The firmament The firmament. When you look up at the heavens.
He's talking about the heavens. The heavens declare the glory
of God. Look at the earth. Look at the firmament. Look at
the mountains. Look at everything that you can walk on. He says
that declares His glory. And what it means is creation
itself is shouting the existence of His Creator. And I've been
places where, beloved, and I know you have, where it is just shouted
so loud that you could not doubt. that God is the creator of all
things. You see the glory of God. You
stand over the Grand Canyon, you see the glory of God. You
stand in Yosemite, and you'll see the glory of God. You stand
there and look at the Glacier Mountain, you look at Glacier,
and in my soul we see the glory. You'd be driving through the
mountains and come up on a meadow, right out in the middle of nowhere,
right in these mountains, a little bitty pond laying there, and
just as far as you can see, oh my, and there's some great old
men. You say, there's the glory of God, shouting the glory of
God. And you say, I've got to get out and take a picture of
that. There's nothing like it. It was raining the other night,
and it was breaking dark. And I looked up and saw that
beautiful red sky, silhouetted against the trees right there,
and I got my phone out right quick, click, click, click, click,
click, click. I said, this is so pretty, I've got to take pictures
of it. Gold drum, red, here's the glory of God. I'm looking
at it, shouting at me. And the apostle says that the
revelation of God, this of creation, is so sure and definite that
men cannot mistake that God's the one who made this. They cannot
deny the very existence of God. Can't mistake it. So that men
are left without excuse. Paul said in Romans 1, he says
the visible things of Him from the creation are clearly seen.
Where did all this stuff come from? The invisible things of
the creation are clearly seen. And we understand it, the things
that are made. We're made people. We're created
people. And when we look at these things
that are made, we see that eternal power and Godhead of God has
God, so we're without excuse. That's why men, when they face
God, every single one of them, they've never heard the name
of Christ, never heard the gospel. Every time they see the stars
at night, every time they see the moon, every time they see
the sun, every time it rains, Every time something happens,
that they'll face God and God will say, see, that told you
about me. And you'll be without excuse.
And I'll tell you what, you know what the psalmist says, the fool
has said in his heart there is no God. It's a stupid man, a
stupid man, an idiot man, who denies that God exists. Oh my,
they're corrupt. They say there's no God. And
I tell you, you look in this creation, and anywhere where
you cast your eyes, you see evidence of God everywhere. Don't you? You see evidence of God everywhere. Me and Mary said, on our fortune,
we just blessed God for just ten coins still. Blessed God for the colors of
the leaves right now. Only God can make things the
way they are. Only God could take a tree and put a half a
dozen different colors in it. Only God could take a forest
and make all the different greens in the same forest. Only God could do that. And I'll
tell you something, and I'll tell you this, when men see the
creation of God, and for believers this does happen, we all bow
down and worship Him for the power, the power, of our Creator. He made this world. And oh, we
bow down when we see it. We say, oh, God bless you. We
worship you. We adore you as we see your creation. And then when we look at the
revelation of God's creation, all men ought to bow before Him
because of His goodness and love and gratitude for it that they
can even allow to see it and understand it. But do you know
what men does? The Scripture says they hold
down the truth in unrighteousness. They'll suppress the truth in
unrighteousness. Next time you run across a fellow who says
he don't believe in God, it takes as much a stretch of your imagination
to deny God as it takes for us to believe that He is. You have
to imagine that He don't exist. Faith realizes He exists. And, oh, beloved, let me tell
you some things about this revelation, talking about the heavens declare
the glory of God. You know, you can see, and this
is what men do. They say, well, I can worship
God in nature and in creation. Well, you can worship God if
you know it, but you don't see Christ in the creation. You don't
see the blood in creation. You don't see grace in creation.
You don't see justice in creation. You don't see mercy in creation.
You don't see the cross in creation. So you can stand and look at
the stars all you want to, but you'll never see the blood. You'll
never see the death. You'll never see the righteousness.
You'll never see the crucifixion of Christ. And that's what I'm
talking. It doesn't declare. When you
look at the heavens, it doesn't declare. It declares the existence
of God, the greatness of God, the wisdom of God. But it does
not reveal how God saves a sinner. And that's what's so dangerous
about people worshiping nature, you know. Folks love nature. They're just crazy about nature,
and want to protect the nature, and want to protect the environment.
But they'll deny God's Word, resist God's Word, and hold it
down. But they just want to so carefully
take care of creation, you know, and the environment, and all
that. But I tell you, while creation demands the worship of God, it
does not declare what God demands from human beings. It doesn't
do it. You know, when you look at creation, it does not point
men to Christ. It doesn't point men to Christ.
And that's what folks need to understand. The heavens declare
His glory, and the firmament show His handiwork. And let me
tell you something about revelation, this revelation. Not only is
it Now, heaven's declared, but it's a continual revelation.
Look what I said in verse 2. It's a continual revelation.
Once God reveals Himself in creation, it continues on. Day unto day
utter speech, and night unto night shows knowledge. Day unto day utter speech. Now,
in creation, there's no voice that you hear when you see the
heavens. There's no voice you see when the sun starts out its
race in the morning. There's no voice you hear in
the moon at night. But every day is talking to us, is speaking
to us, and night on the night we see some knowledge. We see,
we see the, how can there be all these, what do they call
them, the constellations? The Milky Way, the bear, what's
some of the rest of them? Aquarius, the water bear. You
see these, you can see these things there. That gives you
knowledge of something about God and the order of creation.
and how things exist and how people can, they can navigate
it. As long as people had ships, they navigated ships by the stars
before they ever had a computer. People all the way around the
world were just looking at stars. And I tell you, beloved, it's
a continuous revelation. You know, you don't hear that
word, but the sound is clear and the sound is loud. And then
it's universal, look what it says, and it's available to all
the people. Look what it says there in verse 3. It goes to
everybody on the earth. There's no speech, no language
where their voice is not heard. I don't speak Chinese, but the
sun comes up in China and goes down in China. The same stars
that I'm looking at, the Chinese look at the stars, and we're
on opposite sides of the world. And we're up here on the top
of the world, down there's Australia, they're down under, and we're
at the top. And we're looking at the same star, seeing the
same sun. So we're here in the same forest,
seeing the same creation, everything exactly the same. It's not a
confused message. And oh, beloved, look what it
says. And the sun, look what he said here. He said, the line
is going out through all the earth and the words to the end
of the world. What words? The voice that is
saying it. The voice of creation. It goes
from one end of the world to the other. It follows that line.
And I tell you, the heavens, he said, a tabernacle for the
sun. The heavens is called a tabernacle for the sun. Look what he says
here. And he says down in verse six, he said, in the last part
of the verse, and there's nothing here from the heat thereof. There's
no place on the earth where you can hide from the sun. The sun
won't heat you. It goes everywhere. It gives heat to all. The sun
does. Not only is this universal and
all the time for everybody, but it's also abundant. Ain't that
what he says there again in verse 2, day unto day, utter speech?
This word, utterance, means it pours out. It gushes forth. And
the heavens gush out and pour forth the glory of God. And oh my! Everywhere we look,
we see the evidence of God's creation. Evidence of it everywhere
we look. And I tell you, we see the majesty
of the mountains. Oh, the complexity of life. Our
life. Look how complex our lives. David
said, I'm fearful and wonderfully made. And our lives, you know, it's
a mysterious thing. I mean, we're born, we live,
and I tell you, even our own lives, and our own homes, our
own personal lives, and then our married lives, and then our
family lives with our children, and then with our children. Look
how complex our lives get. And God handles all of that,
deals with all of that. And we look around us. And oh,
I tell you what, when we see this revelation, God, oh, help
me to be obedient and worship you. That's why He demands obedience
and submission to Him. Oh, the heavens declare the glory
of God. And that's why He goes on down there and He says, that
son, in verse 5, He said, it's as a bridegroom coming out of
his chamber. When a son gets up, you know,
bridegroom. Now, in America, in the Western,
you know, everything, all the attention's given to the bride.
But in Eastern countries, where our Lord was raised, the bridegroom
got all that attention. The bridegroom did. And that's why Christ's gonna
get all that attention. He's the bridegroom. We're the
bride. But anyway, he's as a bridegroom
coming out of his chamber. That's where the sun, the stars,
the moon, I said, he said, comes out and then comes out of his
chamber and there he is, bride. Got up the other morning, I told
Mary, I said, I said, you know where the sun's coming up? Right
down in our front yard, there's just one little bitty strip of
sun that comes out there first. Just one little bitty stripe
of sun comes out before any other sun comes out. You look down
through there, and it's just like somebody took a light and
just went right down the front yard. Now he's just getting started
out of his chamber. When he comes out of there, then he started
running. And when he started running, next thing you know,
it's over the whole yard, and it's over the whole house, and
it's on the porch, and it's everywhere, because he's running now. And
then all of a sudden, you know, he's through for the day, and
you say, oh, my, it's getting dark. It's dark. Oh, my. Then look what he goes on to
say. His going forth is from the end of heaven, and he's service
unto the ends of it, and there's nothing hid from thee. Nothing hid from the heat thereof.
Now, let me give you just a few things here in verses 7 through
11. Then we're talking about the revelation of the word. The
revelation of the creation. That's a revelation. But then
there's this revelation. And then he says, now he comes
and goes from that, talking about the law of the Lord, the word
of God. He said, the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the
soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The
command of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. That law
of the Lord, you look in the margin, says the doctrine. And the converting, restoring
the soul. And I tell you what, what he's
talking about, we're talking about the truths, the truths
of the revelation of God's blessing word. When we look at creation,
We see so much of God, but we don't see enough for saving,
for salvation. And the Word of God, this blessed,
blessed book, is God's fullest revelation of himself in this
earth and in this world right now for us to see. And still,
still, when we get into eternity, we'll be learning of God while
eternity rolls on, because that's how glorious his being is. But
I tell you what, But he's revealed something to us in this revelation.
David describes it this way. He says, The law of the Lord
is perfect, converting the soul. And beloved, this Bible, now
listen to me. I'm telling you, listen while
I'm telling you. This Bible, this blessed, blessed
book, is whole and complete and sufficient for everything we
need to know. There's not a mistake in it.
Not a verse left out, not a dot or a tittle, not supposed to
be. When you go through it, I count them, I count them. You go through
it and sometimes you'll read seven or eight verses before
you get to an end of a sentence. Because they have the dots and
the tittles just right where they go. And I tell you, while
the natural revelation is incomplete, the Word of God is full. And
that's what we have to point us to Christ. and nothing else
is able to save us and convert us and save us from our imperfection
other than the word of God and the gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Paul said all scriptures given by inspiration of God,
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect,
thoroughly furnished unto all good works. And the law of the
Lord is perfect, converting the soul. Now, let me tell you something
about conversion. Regeneration is something that
God does for us. He gives us life. And conversion
is us responding to that life. When God gives us life, we turn
to Him. That's conversion. We turn to
myself, turn to Him. That's the conversion. God gives
us faith, gives us repentance, gives us life, and where there's
life at, it turns to where that source of life is from. Just
like a baby with its mama, we turn to that source from which
life has conversion. Now, beloved, how many times
have you been converted in your life? I mean, we're constantly
being converted. We're constantly being turned
from ways that we go. Constantly turning from thoughts,
constantly turning from emotions, constantly turning from imagination,
constantly turning from ourselves. And we need to be converted.
We need to be turned. God turn me and I shall be turned. And then look what yourself,
she said here in verse the last part of verse seven, the testimony
of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. Testimony of the
Lord, you know what testimony means? Sure witness. Sure witness,
you swear to tell truth, old truth, nothing but truth. God
don't have to say that. When God testifies, this is the
testimony of God. God's testimony. It reverts to
a sure witness. And just what it does, it makes
the wise the simple. We get the wisdom of God. The
wisdom of God comes from this blessed book. There's true wisdom
that comes from this book. And then look what he says, the
statutes of the Lord are right. Oh my. Statues refer to what? God. The statues He set up for
us. The laws, the commandments He's
given us. We know we're of Him if we obey
His Word. And we walk in the light as He
is in the light. And it says they're righteous.
They're right. The statues of the Lord are righteous.
And then look what He says. Rejoice in the heart. Now, I
want you to keep this. Keep Psalm 19. Look with me over
in Philippians 4. I want you to look at something
with me. in Philippians 4, talking about the law, though the statutes
of the Lord are right, they rejoice the heart. How many times you
come in here and your heart lays rejoicing, full of joy. Philippians 4. I'll get it out
in a minute. Philippians 4. You know, God's Word is joy unspeakable. It comes sometimes and it sets
us on fire. I mean, it gives us such joy
in our heart, it fills us so full, and it fills us with such
rejoicing that sometimes we feel like we could just jump up and
holler. It feels like we could just let out a big whoop, you
know. Because joy just overcomes us. But all I love to talk about
is rejoicing the heart. And look what He said here in
Philippians 4. Rejoice in the Lord always. And
again, I say rejoice. God's Word rejoices our hearts.
You know, there's joy and peace in believing. Now let me say
something about rejoicing. The Scriptures rejoice the heart.
There's no way in the world a man can rejoice when he's in pain. He can't rejoice over his pain.
He can't rejoice over his sorrow. He can't rejoice over his sadness.
He can't rejoice over over the things he's going through, but
I'll tell you what he can do. He can rejoice in the Lord. See,
we don't rejoice in what we are and what we're going through.
We rejoice in the Lord. He gives us grace. He gives us
strength. He gives us ability. He upholds
us. He meets our needs. So, you know,
we can rejoice in Him. What kind of man can say, boy,
He's laying it off? You know, that's what religion
does. Whoa, boy. Fell off a ladder and said, well,
praise the Lord anyway. No. No, you fall off a ladder
and break your foot, break your knee, break your leg, you're
going to lay there in pain and agony. But you can still rejoice
in the Lord and say, the Lord is my shepherd, the Lord is my
keeper, the Lord is the one who saved me. This is something that
will lay me up and I'll just spend some time with my master.
So I'll tell you what, we can rejoice in the Lord. Let me just
go back over here and let me wind this thing up, if I can.
Look what he said again here now. Not only is the statue of
the Lord's right rejoicing in the heart, The commandment of
the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The commandment, what
God commands, is pure. It's pure. That's wisdom. It's pure. There's nothing, no
alloy, nothing mixed with it. And then it says it's pure, and
it lights up. God's Word provides us illumination. It gives light to us. It gives
understanding to us, and it lightens our eyes. And we'll say, oh,
I see now. I see that. I understand that. I grasp that.
But only the Word of God can enlighten me, understand. Only
the Word of God can give us understanding. And it's pure and it enlightens
the eyes. And then look what he says here. I love this right
here. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever. You
know what this is? This is the fruit. This is the
fruit of the fear of the Lord. It's clean. And it endures forever. You know what clean means? It
produces purity. The Word is clean and it will
clean you up. The Word is clean and it will
purify you. The Word has got power in it
and it washes away filth. It washes away the things that's
in our mind and our heart. It just washes them away. That's why Paul said, Husbands,
love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave
himself for it, and sanctified it with the washing of water
by the Word. And then he says it endures forever. The Word of God is eternal and
it's unchanging. Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my Word won't. Then look what he said. The judgments
of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. And what does he
mean by the judgments of the Lord? That God will execute justice
exactly right. There's lots of miscarriages
of justice in this world, but God will execute justice. The
judgments of the Lord are true and righteous. When He executes
justice, you can believe they're going to be exactly true and
righteous altogether. The judge of all the earth must
do right. And you know what the standard
by which God judges men? His Word. That's what He's going
to judge them by. And then look what He says, More
to be desired are they than gold. I tell you what, when you're
laying in a bad, bad condition, would you rather have gold or
the Word of God? What are you going to do? Say,
here, bring me my CDs up here and show them to me. Bring me
my gold. Go get my gold out of the safety deposit box. Go get
my silver for me. Go get some money out of the
bank here and lay it up here. I want to look at it for a minute.
Would you rather do that? Oh, no. Well, we desire God's
Word. It's more to desire than gold.
Yeah, you didn't much find gold. And sweeter, sweeter also than
honey and the honeycomb. How sweet is the word God did
to us. Always so sweet. Gary, hug me Sunday morning.
I'll tell Bruce Crabtree about it today. He listens to preaching
all the time. And I know you all do too. You
listen to it on the sermon audio. You've got CDs. And you listen
to different preachers all the time. And I tell you, he hugged
me after service. He said, I needed the gospel
so bad. I needed the gospel. Oh, I needed
the gospel. And when you need it, when you need it, oh, it's
so good. It tastes so good. It's so sweet. And Ruby says, you preach out
again tonight, you'll taste the same thing tonight. You see,
that's because it's so sweet. You wouldn't want to hear the
same thing if it was sour and bitter and didn't have a good
taste to it. It wasn't sweet and enjoyable.
Oh, I'll tell you what's bitter. Words. Working your way to heaven. You're free trying to make yourself
acceptable. That's bitter. Oh, but it's sweet
to hear Christ did it all. Oh, to hear my own. Sin left
a crimson stain. He washed it by the snow. Amen.
