Yes, there she is. And I'm thankful. So good to be back with you.
And let me say, you can turn to Luke chapter 1. Let me say this. I so much appreciate all the
work that this church does to put on these meetings. I was
here for 20 years before I went to pastor about seven years ago
in Sylacauga, Alabama. So I know something about the
labor, the work that goes on, and especially the ladies. The
ladies, I mean, they cook all that food, they bring it here,
they prepare it, it's just all there, and we just go down and
eat it. It just didn't evolve. Boom. No, thank you ladies so
very much. It's delicious, delicious. And thank you, Brother Don, for
asking me to come back. It's an honor. to be here. The fellowship has been refreshing,
reviving. Those men that went before me,
well, I hope that I can do as they did and exalt the Lord Jesus
Christ. Let me do what I've done the
six or seven previous times that I've stood here at this time
of the year. Our conference Fairmont Grace Church. We're live streaming
here? Okay. Good morning, Fairmont
Grace. I was told that they'd be watching. But anyway, our
conference will be the last weekend of this month. For seven years
in a row, I've invited all of you, all of you. He'll be there, he's preaching,
and Shelby will be there. I don't know if I've seen anybody
else. I'm not going to invite you again if you don't come. This is the last time. This is
the last time. But the 28th, 29th, and the 30th,
Brother Don Fortner, my pastor, will be preaching along with
Brother Bruce Crabtree and Brother Donnie Bell. You're all welcome,
and I hope that you'll be able to come. Okay, here in Luke chapter
1, Please pray for me. Let's begin
reading at Luke 1, verse 26. And in the sixth month, that
is the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, of John the Baptist
being born. In the sixth month, the angel
Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
to a virgin, espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the
house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel
came in unto her and said, Hail thou that art highly favored. The Lord is with thee. Blessed
art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was
troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation
this should be. And the angel said unto her,
Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God. And behold,
behold, what a wonder! Behold, thou shalt conceive in
thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Jesus
Behold he shall be great And shall be called the son of the
highest and The Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his
father David and he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever
and of his kingdom there shall be no end and Then said Mary
unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall
come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall overshadow
thee, therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of
thee shall be called the Son of God. And behold, thy cousin
Elizabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age, and this
is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God
nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid
of the Lord, be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed
from her. As I said, I want to continue
in the same path that those six men were in that preached it
before me yesterday, Friday night. like a horse or a mule. Now,
I wasn't raised on a farm, but I think I've got this right.
When a mule is plowing or attached to a harness, that's the word,
to a plow, don't they have blinders on? And isn't that so that they'll
just plow a straight furrow and not look left or right? Am I
correct in that? There's got to be somebody raised
on a farm around. Is that right? Okay. All right,
I feel better now. But I want to continue with blinders
and pray that God would enable us to see again afresh, and oh,
it will be refreshing and reviving to our hearts. His son his son
to behold him. I want to share with you Just
a portion a sentence or two of an article. I read the other
day by dear brother Henry Mahan on his website the this is from
one of his the articles from one of his older bulletins, but
Just a portion of it. He said the preacher spent all
of his time talking about the well and no one got to drink
from the water of life. God forbid. God forbid. Don't let me do that. It is possible
to preach about the gospel and never preach the gospel. Now
I used to not understand that statement. I think I'm beginning
to understand something about it now. And Henry included this
in his article. I took a plunge in the crimson
flood that washes white as snow. I took a drink at the fountainhead
and it satisfies I know. I took a look at the cross of
Christ and my burdens rolled away and I'm laughing, singing,
praise the Lord for that happy, happy day. May God do that this
morning. May someone who's never beheld
the Lamb of God. Maybe you've seen doctrine. Maybe
you've seen five points. But you've never seen the Lamb
of God. And until you see Him, you're yet in your sins. Would you pray that God would
be pleased to do that? In verses 31 through 37 that
we just read, the word Shelt is used 11 times. 11 times. In just 7 verses. 11 times. And the last time that
it's used, the 11th time, is the reason for the other 10 times
previously, that is verse 37. For with God, With God, nothing shall be impossible. That is rather the foundation
for everything that went before. It's the reason, the reason,
the sure and certain reason for the fulfillment of all that was
said. Someone is well said and it is
true. And every child of God will agree. I love God's shells, don't you?
I love God's shells and wheels because that makes them must-be
things. There's just no doubt about that.
There's no doubt about that. Remember the angel told John,
come up hither, John. And John saw one setting up on
the throne. And the one setting up on the
throne says, I will show thee things that must be. I like that. Must be. Must be hereafter. So much better,
isn't it? God's shells are so much better
than man's maybes. or perchance or possibilities. Oh, when God says it shall be,
it has the sound of success to it, doesn't it? I mean, it just
smells with the sweet aroma of success. All those shalls that
we read are must be, must be. Man's, as we said, maybes, they
just sound so unsure. Well, naturally, they should.
We shouldn't expect anything else. Man's maybes and possibilities
are uncertain. They have the sound of failure.
Of course they do. A few weeks ago, I've been watching
those pros, Lindsay, on TV, pro golfers. They make it look so
easy. And I play golf. I guess you
could define what I do as playing golf. I got up one afternoon after
watching that, and I just felt kind of inspired. I told Robbin,
I'm gonna go out and play some golf. I said, I'm telling you
what, I feel like I got a 72 in me. Okay, there's some golfers
in the house. 72, that's a good score, that's
par. That's a good score, isn't it,
Lindsey? Isn't it, Bob? I wouldn't know. I know you don't.
I've played with him, he's telling the truth. I like playing with him, my game
looks good next to him. But I said, Robin, I feel like
I could shoot a 72. So man, she said, well go. So
I went out, played, took a few hours by myself. But it took
a few hours and I came back home. Went in the house, she said,
well, Said, I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk
about it. The 72 didn't happen. Not even
close. But not so concerning God's will. God's purpose. His shells, every
one of them. They always have been accomplished. They always will be accomplished. God's expression of His will
is the accomplishment of his will. If God says it, it's done. It's done. Just the very expression
God says, I will, well then it's a done deal. It's a done deal. That's our great God and Savior. I understand in Genesis 1 and
3 where we read that in the beginning God created the heaven and the
earth and so forth. And God said, let there be light.
Well, I believe, my pastor can correct me if I'm wrong, but
more literally, the translation would be, God said, light be,
and light is. That's all it takes. That's a,
tell me if you will, as an example or demonstration of this, back
to Isaiah. Isaiah chapter 46. This is exactly
what God says here. Isaiah chapter 46 you're familiar
with this these few verses verse 9 God speak child of God. He's speaking to you and I And
he says remember Remember or how we tend to forget? Remember
the former things of old For I am God remember I am God and
there is none else. I am God and there is none like
me. There is none like me. Declaring
the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things
that are not yet done saying my counsel shall stand and I
will try Yeah, thank God, no, no. And
I will do some, some of my pleasure. No, it doesn't read like that.
It doesn't read like that. And we rejoice to read it as
it is. God says my counsel shall stand
and I will do all my pleasure. calling a ravenous bird from
the east and the man that executed my counsel from a far country.
Yea, I have spoken it. I will also bring it to pass."
Well, that's worth reading again. I have spoken it and I will also
bring it to pass. I have purposed it. I will also
do it. All the shells, these 11 shells
that we read here in Luke chapter 1, Every one of them, every one
of them, and what I'm about to say can be applied to the entire
Word of God. Every one of them revolve around
the Lord Jesus Christ. Every one of them. You take him
out. Take him out, Jesus. Take him
out. That holy thing Abram said, would
be born through the Virgin Mary, would enter this world through
her, flesh of our flesh, bone of our bones, made like unto
his brethren. You remove him and you have nothing left. Nothing
left. Take him out and these shells
don't mean anything. They don't mean a thing because
it's all about him. The words of our text, which
will be verse 32, they're just as sure as all the
others. Jesus, verse 31, he, he shall
be great. He shall be great. Larry, if you're thinking, Larry,
you bit off more than you can chew. You got that right. You
got that right. But may God give us grace just
to skim around a little bit on this ocean. He shall be great. Verse 31, Gabriel said, you shall
conceive, bring forth a son, call his name Jesus. And that
all happened, didn't it? Verse 35, the Holy Ghost shall
come upon thee. The power of the highest shall
overshadow thee. That holy thing which shall be
born of thee shall be called the Son of God. All that happened. Bless his name. So has this It
has happened it is happening and it will continue to happen
He Jesus Christ shall be great. I'm so thankful for that Aren't
you? Aren't you good aren't you? I'm
depending on him I'm Depending on him the Lord of Jesus Christ
my eternal salvation Determined by him Not me Not me. It's up to him. It'll be determined
by his greatness his power his grace his wisdom his All in all,
it's all about Him. And you notice at the end of
the statement by the angel, verse 33 is where the sentence ends,
it doesn't end with a question mark, does it? It doesn't end
with a question mark, oh no, this is certain, this is absolute,
this is absolute, absolute. He shall be great. You know,
when I lived here, In Kentucky, I worked at the University of
Kentucky. And I'll tell you what, they
liked their basketball. I mean, when there were basketball
seasons going on, and well, I'd come in here, Lindsey and Bobby
would be sitting in the back talking about the game before.
We won, we won. And I would think, well, they
didn't play. What do you mean? But they identified with them.
They identified with the team. Same way now in Alabama. Now,
I root for the cats on the court. Basketball, because they're so
good. But in Alabama, you got to root for the Tide. I don't
think they would have asked me to be the pastor if I hadn't
agreed to root for the Crimson Tide. Roll on, Tide. I've got two caps in my car.
This is true. You can ask my wife. UK and Alabama. When I cross the state line,
coming here, I'll put on my UK cap. When I go back home, I'll
throw it in the back and put it on my Alabama. How about that,
Dave? But we won. UK won. Alabama won. Listen. Jesus Christ won. I identify with him. He's my champion. He's great. I think it's Don's commentary
on the book of Revelation, I think. But he began and introduced it
by telling a story, and you may be aware of it, about a janitor
working at a gym. And he was waiting one night
to clean the gym because there were some businessmen in there
playing a game. So he just sat in the corner,
this janitor, a believer, reading his Bible. waiting for those
guys to be finished. And as they finished, one man
walked by and looked at the Janitor reading his Bible and said, What
were you reading there? What were you reading there in
the Bible? He said, Revelation. And he said in sort of a smart-alecky
way, you understand it? You understand the book of Revelation,
what it's about? And the janitors looked at him
and said, yeah, Jesus wins. That's what it's about. He shall
be great. That's why we can sing. That's
why we can sing. When peace like a river attendeth
my way, or the reverse. Sorrows like sea billows roll,
whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is
well with my soul. If it is well with him, it's
well with me, my great God and Savior. There was a little girl one time
on board a passenger ship. Her father was the captain of
that ship. After she'd gone to her cabin
and gone to bed, in the middle of the night a great storm arose. It looked like the ship might
go down. So the crew members were going
from cabin to cabin knocking on the door saying, Get up, get
up, get on your life jacket, your life vest. We're getting
out the lifeboats. We may have to abandon ship."
And the little girl woke up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes
and said, well, is my father still on board? And they said,
oh yeah, your father the captain, of course he's still on board.
And she laid down to go back to sleep. Listen, child of God,
our father is still on board. When the storms of life are raging,
he never abandons the ship of grace. The great captain of our
salvation says, my sheep, hear my voice, they follow me, they
shall never perish because they're in the hands of that one who
himself is the great God and Savior. Isn't that a blessing? He shall be great. Compared to
who? Everybody. Everybody. Actually there is no comparison. No comparison. Turn if you will
to Ephesians chapter 1. Ephesians chapter 1. Listen to
this. Is anybody above him? No. Is there anybody that's not under
his feet? No. Every one of us are. Every one of us are. Any rebels
here this morning, those who haven't believed on the Son of
God? I suspect you don't like the sound of that. Well, like
it or not, it's a fact. You're in the hands of the great
shepherd. You're in the hands of the son
of God. You're in the hands of the only
mediator between God and man, that one that God has exalted. You're under his feet. It's up
to him. Larry, I don't like to hear that. Well, you're going to hear it.
God help you to hear it. Jesus Christ is not in your hand. You're in his hand. It's not
up to what you will do with him. That's not the question. The
question is, what will he do with you? Will he have mercy
on you? Listen, you won't like this either.
He doesn't have to. There's no reason in the world,
there's no reason in you why God Almighty should have mercy
on you. You can look from morning to night, And unless you lie
to yourself, you won't find one reason why God Almighty should
have mercy upon you except this, for Christ's sake. Christ's sake,
he shall be great, Ephesians 1 verse 20, speaking of the Lord
Jesus Christ and what God did with him and for him. which he
wrought, verse 20, which he wrought in Christ when he raised him
from the dead and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly
places, the place of majesty, the place of glory, the place
of acceptance, far above all, circle that, all principality
and power and might and dominion, in every name that is named,
not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. to
whom shall you compare him? And hath put all things, all
things under his feet, you, me, the devil, and gave him to be
the head over all things of the church, which is his body, the
fullness of him that filleth all, all in all." Oh, I like
that. Yes, there is no comparison. Jesus Christ is all in all. It's not about you. I mean, I'm
sorry if you think it is. Sorry to have to burst your bubble.
Well, that's not exactly true. I don't mind bursting your bubble.
Because if you think it's all about you, you need your bubble
bursted. It's not about you. Someone,
where's Jeff, Scott, talking about YouTube in the back. YouTube,
is that Y-O-U-Tube? No, it's not about you. You might
be on YouTube, but it's not about you. It's about the Lord Jesus
Christ. It's all about him. I remember
years ago, it was probably during a conference when I was here,
and Brother Tim James was preaching. And he told us, he said, you
know, you drive along and you see these signs on church buildings
or out near the church, and you still see them occasionally.
I saw one not long ago down where we live. And it'll say, you can't
spell church, and the you has gone out of church. You've seen
it. You can't spell church without you. Well, I ain't that special. And Tim said, hmm, you can't
spell church without you. He said, you know what? You can't
spell stupid without you. Or you can't spell dumb without
you. It's not about you, but it's
about Him. It's about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Listen, in Christ alone, in Christ alone, God's rich provision of
salvation for sinners is treasured up. You can't get it from anywhere
else, from anyone else except the Lord Jesus Christ, Joseph. By Christ alone, God's abundant
mercies come down from heaven to earth like Jacob's ladder.
Christ is that ladder. He's the way, the truth, and
the life. Christ's blood alone can cleanse
us. And glory to his name, it cleanses
us from all sin. Christ's righteousness alone
can make us acceptable to God. Oh, clothed in his righteousness,
faultless to stand before the throne. Christ's merit alone
can give us a title, the right to heaven. And all alike, all
alike must either be saved by the Lord Jesus Christ or be lost
forever. Must be saved by Christ or damned
by Christ. He said, I have trod the winepress
alone and of the people there were none with me. Because he's
the only one could do it. There was not who would assist
him in that great redemption of his people. When I was a boy
at home years ago, and where's Fred? He told me he likes my
stories about when I lived up the hollow in West Virginia.
I think he likes that more than anything. No, that I say. But when I lived there as a child,
we didn't have internet. If somebody handed me a smartphone,
well, that's almost still true. Wouldn't know what to do with
it. Didn't have satellite TV or cable
TV. Had TV with one channel. So I
read books. read books, literal books. And
I loved to read biography. It was sort of a way of escape.
I'd get books out of the library at school and find me a quiet
place and just read. Man, I'd read about explorers
and pioneers and inventors and Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett,
Alexander the Great, I have never read of anyone, anyone, of whom
this was said except the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen. For unto us a child is born. Wow. Unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon
his shoulder. And his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God. That baby in that stable, in the arms
of his mother, is the mighty God? Wow! Great is the mystery of godliness.
The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, and of the increase
of his government and peace, there shall be no end. That's
what Gabriel told Mary. and upon the throne of David
and upon his kingdom to order it and to establish it with judgment
and with justice from henceforth even forever the zeal of the
Lord of hosts will perform this. Only of him do we read, in the
beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word
was God Without Him was not anything made that was made. And John says that Word, that
everlasting Word, that One who is everlastingly God, God from
everlasting to everlasting. My two sons are back there this
morning. I remember years ago, I had preached
and we were coming back home. They were sitting in the back
seat and they said, Dad, you said in your message God didn't
have a beginning. I said, that's right. And said,
God will never have an end. I said, that's right. They said,
Dad, we don't understand that. I said, sons, your dad don't
understand it either, but it's so. John says, and that word
was made flesh and dwelt among us. And John said, we beheld
his glory, full of grace and full of truth. The biographies
that I would read, I know they were exaggerated by the writers. The faults were glossed over
by the subject of those biographies, but not so with Jesus Christ. He shall be great is no exaggeration. The problem is with my puny little
brain that I can get such a little grip on that. Christ shall be
great. We read even in God's Word some
biography. Enoch walked with God and he
was not because God took him, translated him. One old preacher
said it was as though God said to Enoch, Enoch, come up and
spend the night. And he never came back because
there's no night there. He's with God now. We read of
Abraham, the friend of God. David, a man after God's own
heart. That's amazing. God said that. But of Jesus Christ, that one
who shall be great, this was said. Oh my, what a statement. What a statement. Call his name
Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. Hallelujah, what a Savior. He
must be a great God and Savior. Who else could do it? Save all
of his people from all of their sins. And that's what he did. Came down from heaven. He said
Not to do my own will but the will of my father who sent me
and this is the will of my father who sent me all Those he had
given me I should lose none None, but raise them up every one of
them raise them up again in the last day Behold he shall be great
How great is that word? Concerning him the substitute
of his people when that mob came to take him. Oh, what a beautiful
glorious picture of substitution John 18 whom seek ye Jesus of
Nazareth that bloodthirsty Christ hating mob said I am he." They
hit the dirt. Oh, he shall be great. Whom seek
ye? I told you I am he. And he says,
if you seek me, you got to let these go. Take the shepherd. Don't preach to us the other
night. or a Waco sword against the man who is my shepherd, God
says, smite the shepherd. And the shepherd says, yes. He
stands beneath the sword of God's justice and says, take me, strike
me, smite me, but my sheep go free. Hallelujah. He shall be
great. Great things he has taught us.
Great things he had done and great are rejoicing in Jesus
our son but purer and higher and greater It's gonna be our
wonder our transport when Jesus we see and the scriptures tells
us brothers and sisters in Christ they shall see his face Wow, what a day that will be. Jesus Christ, the object of our
faith, is the beauty of our faith. All those blessed, wonderful
doctrines that we love and have heard proclaimed this weekend,
they find their beauty in Him. Someone already said this, it
may have been Don. Already said, what is election? If you think about election and
you don't think about Jesus Christ, you got the wrong concept of
election. I was chosen in Him. I was chosen
in Him. Before the world ever was created
by Him, I was chosen in Him. Redemption. Oh, my soul. He loved me. He loved me and
gave himself for me. Glory, heaven. Father, I will
also that those whom thou has given me be with me where I am,
that they may behold my glory. Man, sometimes, though, when
I'm preaching, I wish I could sing. I wish I could sing. When I was here for 20 years,
sometimes if Lindsey couldn't make it, that was very rare,
and I would know that Don had to preach, and he'd have his
mind on his message. I knew he did. And so I would
volunteer and say, Don, I'll lead the singing. He said, no
thanks, Larry. And I did that several times. No thanks, Larry.
And finally I said, Don, sitting back there, tugged him on his
shoulder. God, how come you don't want me to lead the singing?
He said, Larry, you can't sing. Oh, but if I could, that's why
I quote the hymns. Oh, what a day that's going to
be, David, when our Jesus we shall see. What a day, glorious
day. I'm going to sing then. I'm going
to sing then. In perfect unison with a multitude
that no man can number, worthy is the Lamb. That's why I so
much detest that other gospel. That gospel that has man as its
center, that makes everything dependent upon man and his so-called
will. You know why I detest it for
most, many reasons, but mostly for this. They so dishonor the
Lord Jesus Christ. They so dishonor the Lord Jesus
Christ. That gospel makes him anything
but great, makes him a failure. I heard years ago about the story
about a newspaper, the Sunday edition of a newspaper. In some
way or other, the ads got mixed up. You know the Sunday edition
always has the religious page, the church of what's happening
now and just on down the line. But the ads got mixed up. And
when they printed the paper, it came out like this. One article,
Jesus Christ, at the lowest price in years, got mixed up with a
car ad. That's despicable. That's despicable. Jesus Christ
is the mighty God, the everlasting Savior, the Redeemer of His people. Listen, Jesus Christ is not our
doormat into heaven. Jesus Christ is not your far
escape out of hell. Jesus Christ is the Son of God
and God Himself. God has exalted his son and given
him a name above every name and every one of us are gonna bow
before him and confess that he's God Almighty to the glory of
God his father when it's all said and done. We shall know,
we shall know the believer how great thou art. An unbeliever,
when he says depart from me, you're gonna know it one time. The Pharisees, the scribes, the
religious folk of his day, his most fierce enemies, asked him. He had said, whoever believes
in me shall never die. They said, what? Who do you think
you are? Our father Abraham, he's already
dead. Are you greater than Abraham? And he said, before Abraham was,
I am. Yes, I was before Abraham. Another
occasion, he meets a poor sinner at a well in Samaria. He says, lady, if you knew who
it was that was talking to you right now, the water of life,
the fountain of living waters. You would ask of him and he would
give you a drink and you never thirst again. She said, are you
greater than our father Jacob? Yes, yes he is. Anybody thirsty
this morning? Anybody thirsty? Christ says,
come unto me, come unto me, come unto me. Drink drink the water
of life Jesus. He shall be great. He's the great
Savior and His is a great salvation There's no question about that
Here's the question. I want to leave with you Yes,
Jesus. He shall be great He's able to
save to the uttermost My question is this are there any great sinners
here today? Hmm? I mean real sinners. Real sinners. Without reservation. I mean dead dog sinners. Sinners without strength. Without
merit. Without any hope whatsoever in
yourself. And you won't argue about it.
You won't argue about it. You won't make an excuse for
it. You're ready to confess, I'm the sinner. Larry, you don't
know the half of it. I am the sinner. I'm the worst
sinner in the building. Oh, is that right? Is there a
great sinner like that here? Is there? I've got some good
news for you. Jesus Christ came to save sinners
just like that. As a matter of fact, great sinners
are the only ones that he does save. And here's good news too. Dear dying lamb, thy precious
blood shall never lose its power till all the ransomed church
of God be saved to sin no more. You've probably all heard this,
the story about old John Newton. Amazing grace. I'm looking at
my brother sitting over there. John Newton was the captain of
a slave ship. That's pretty low. That's pretty
bad. And God said, that one who is great, Jesus,
Saved old John Newton. He's the one who wrote Amazing
Grace. How sweet to sound. When he was old, near the end
of his journey, he said, he made this statement. My memory is nearly gone. Two
things I remember, though. He was 82. I'm 67 and my memory
sometimes I think is nearly gone, but old Newton said, I remember
two things. God helped me to remember it. I'm a great sinner, but Jesus
Christ is a great Savior. He's a great Savior. Oh, great Savior, would you drop
your grace into a sinner's heart right now? Oh, King Jesus, would
you come and kick down the door of their depraved heart now and
enter in and give them faith as behold the Lamb of God. It took a miracle to hang the
world in place, and it took a miracle to put the stars in space, but
when he saved my soul and cleansed and made me whole, it took a
miracle of God's love and grace. Let me close with a quote from
Mr. Spurgeon. He said, when it's
all finished, when everyone who ever shall be called has been
called, when every one of the Lord's elect has been regenerated
and justified and sanctified and glorified, when the whole
of the blood-washed family of God shall surround the throne
above, all the glory shall be given to the Lord alone. There
will be no jarring note in heaven, no whisper of human merit, for
man's claim to a reward, but every crown, oh what a day that
shall be, every crown shall be cast at Jesus' feet, and every
voice shall join in the ascription, not unto us, O Lord, not unto
us, but unto thy name give glory for thy mercy and for thy truth's
sake. I see my friend David back there.
God bless you, my friend. I love to hear David sing. Christ
is all. I have the CD. I've wore it out,
I think. You're going to have to give
me another one. Christ is all. I dreamed that hoary time had
fled, and earth and sea gave up their dead, and a fire dissolved
this ball. I saw the church's ransomed throne. I heard the burden of their song.
It was Christ is all in all." Then come to Christ. Come today The father son and
the spirit say the bride repeats the call for he will cleanse
your guilty stains His love will soothe your weary pains for Christ
is all in all If he is pleased to do that He will be great to
you too. God bless you. Thank you for
your attention
