I count it a joy to be with you
folks again. Appreciate Mark and Regina's
hospitality, putting up with me and Sandy, me especially.
And I'll say this about Sandy, I appreciate her. Tuesday will
be our anniversary. We've been married seven years.
I could have been a lot of things I could have put in front of
years, but I won't. But they've been delightful years.
They've been incredible years. They've been wonderful years.
And I'm thankful the Lord in his providence has worked it
out so she can come with me. I'm so thankful the Lord let
us be here today. I appreciate that song. How great he is. What a great God. What a great
God. I want you to turn with me in
your Bible to the book of Genesis, chapter 45. And I want to read the last three
verses to get our thought. And then we're gonna go back
and bring us up to this point. So you'll know some history and
some of the background here. Jacob had 12 sons. His favorite son was of his wife,
Rachel, whom he worked 14 years to buy, to earn. He had two sons
by her, Joseph, and then when she was having Benjamin, she
died in having Benjamin. And Jacob gave Joseph a coat,
a coat of many colors, and his brothers were envious. His brothers
hated him. His brothers despised him. And
they took that coat off of Joseph, and they threw Joseph in a pit
and eventually sold him into Egypt. But they took that coat
that they stripped off Joseph, And they took a goat or a lamb
and they took blood and they put it on that coat. And they
sent it back to their father and they said, is this your son's
coat? And Jacob assumed that a wild
beast had killed his son. He assumed that. And that's what
the brothers wanted him to believe. Now he's believed that lie for
20 long years. You imagine living that lie.
Thinking that your son's death was nothing more than an accident.
To think that your son's death had no purpose at all in it. Where's he at? He's gone, he's
just, he's dead. You imagine how he's mourned. And God did all that to set forth
a picture of how he saves his people from their sins. He sent Joseph into Egypt. He
was bought by Potiphar, and you remember, we even preached last
time we was here on Sunday night, how that Potiphar's wife lied
on Joseph. He was innocent, and he was cast
into prison. And when he fulfilled and satisfied
all the law, Pharaoh just happens to have a dream. And nobody can
interpret it. And that dream meant, which was
the purpose and the decree of God, there are gonna be seven
years of plenty, and then there's gonna be seven years of famine.
And Pharaoh said, who are we gonna put over all this work?
And he says, there's none as wise as Joseph. So he's brought
from the Piah prison, he's brought from the Piah, and he is now
set upon the throne of Egypt. How did he get there? God put
him there. Why did all this happen? To save his people. Why did he
take him plumb down to Egypt? That was God's purpose and that
was God's decree. Well, how's Jacob's household
gonna wind up in Egypt? God's gonna cause a famine to
take place. And they're gonna be forced to go down to Egypt
to buy corn or get corn from Joseph and they have no clue
who he is. But he knows who they are. He knows who they are. And here
it says, when they told him, the brothers told Jacob, saying,
Joseph is yet alive. And he is governor over all the
land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for
he believed them not. What's the truth here? Joseph
is alive. What's, but he doesn't, why doesn't
he believe the truth? It is easier for man by nature
to believe a lie than it is to believe the truth. I read a good devotion from Spurgeon
a couple of weeks ago and I put it in our bulletin back home
and I Forgot it, but it was something to this effect. He was speaking
on Lamentations, chapter three. You know, where it talks about
the first part of the chapter, it speaks of a man in a lot of
trouble. He says, it's like God's just hemmed me in. And he says,
I recall these things to my mind, and I have hope. I recall these things, my memory,
I recall these things to my mind, and I have hope. Jacob here recalls
what to his mind? That lie he had believed for
all those years, and he finds no hope. No hope. He believed it not. And they told him all the words
of Joseph, which he had said unto them. And when he saw the
wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, he, the spirit
of Jacob their father, revived. And Israel said, it is enough.
Joseph, my son, is yet alive. I will go see him before I die. And God convinces him. Let me
tell you a little secret this morning. By nature, you're gonna
swallow and believe a lie every time. Jacob didn't believe. Israel did. Your old man, that Jacob, you
son of Jacob, he can do nothing but not believe. And the true
Israel, that true nature can do nothing but believe. What
a paradox. Even as believers, we're always
prone to believe the worst. We read a scripture and the first
thing we gain from it, what, is condemnation and despair. But where's the joy and the peace?
In fact, Lindsay said about the promises, these promises are
given to God's people. Why has God brought all this
to pass? To save His people. My question to you this morning,
do you believe that? Do you believe that? I want to
believe. I want to believe that Jesus
Christ is the Son of God. I want to believe by God's grace
that when Christ died, he paid my debt in full. Here's how we
are. I'm just trying to be honest
this morning. When we sin, here's unbelief. You think you can do
something to fix it, and there's nothing you can do to fix it.
But we think we can. Don't we? Christ is alive. Christ sits
on the throne. Let's go back to verse one. Joseph's brethren have come down
before he's made, he spoke roughly to him. He put Simeon in prison. He put his cup in Benjamin's
sack. And he's brought them to the
point of desperation, the point of they are at their wit's end. And they stand before Joseph.
And Joseph could not reframe himself before them that stood
by him, and he cried, cause every man to go out from me, and there
stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known to
his brethren. If Christ is gonna remake himself
known to you, he's gonna get you along with him. He says everybody
just leave, all the Egyptians leave. And you imagine these
boys, these are men standing before Joseph. What's he gonna
do with us now? And he wept aloud, and the Egyptians
in the house of Pharaoh heard, and Joseph said unto his brethren,
I am Joseph. Can you imagine the shock? These
are the ones that despised him. These are the ones that for envy
sold him, and now Joseph stands before them on the throne, the
governor of Egypt, and he says, I'm Joseph. the one you crucified
when Christ makes himself known and he says, I am him, I am Christ. The first thing he asked, does
my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer
him for they were troubled at his presence. And Joseph said
unto his brethren, come near to me, I pray you, and they came
near. And he said, I am Joseph, your
brother, whom you sold into Egypt. They wanted to stand afar off,
but he said, come near. You know why he did? Everything's
okay. Everything's fine. Now therefore, be not grieved,
nor angry with yourselves. Now he's going to teach you something.
He's teaching these boys something. You know why? These are the ones
he's gonna use to send back to tell his father. He's gonna teach
him something. He first gonna teach him who
he is, and he's gonna teach him why he's sitting on the throne.
Therefore, be not grieved nor angry with yourself that you
sold me hither, for God did send me before you to preserve life.
God's the one that put me here. You took me in by wicked hands,
have crucified and slain, but it was by God's decree, and God
has set me up on the throne. For these two years hath the
famine been in the land." Well, why was there a famine? He's
gonna tell them why. How long is the famine? Two years,
and there's gonna be five more years. And yet there are five
years into which there shall neither be earing or harvest.
Why is Joseph on the throne? Why has all this happened? Why
is Jesus Christ this morning sitting up on the throne? And
God did send me before you to preserve you a posterity in the
earth and to save your lives by great deliverance. That's
the gospel. He's teaching them who he is,
and he's teaching them that it's all happened on purpose. So now it was not you that did
send me hither, but God, and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh
and Lord over all of his house, and a ruler throughout all the
land of Egypt. So now he's made himself known,
what is their responsibility? What are they to do? All right,
he's just gonna send a Moabite into the land of Goshen. Nope,
not right yet. You know why? Joseph is sitting on the throne,
Christ is sitting upon the throne because he's gonna save the whole
house of Jacob. Altogether, there's 70 souls
that's got to hear the gospel and come down to Egypt. How can a man preach except he
be sent? He's told, he's made himself
known. He's revealed himself. Oh, what
grace when God in his mercy makes himself known to you and says,
I am Christ. Verse nine, haste ye and go up
to my father. And saying to him, thus saith
thy son Joseph, God hath made me Lord over all the land of
Egypt. Come down to me, tarry not. Haste
and tarry not, and thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen,
and thou shalt be near to me, thou and thy children, and thy
children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herb, and all
that thou hast. Where are they gonna live? They're
gonna live in the land of Goshen. And there will I nourish thee,
there will I take care of thee, and yet there are five years
of famine, lest thou and thy household and all that thou hast
come to poverty. In Goshen's where I'm gonna take
care of you. He's telling them this. And behold, your eyes see,
and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh
unto you. Every one of them saw him, and
we see Christ by faith. He said, your eyes have saw me,
And you've heard me speak. This is not secondhand information.
This is not something they came up with. This is something that
he's telling them what to say. When I get back to my father's
house, what am I supposed to tell him? Do you think he's going
to believe me when I get back? Do you think he's going to believe
me? and he fell upon his brother
Benjamin's neck, and he wept, and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
Moreover, he kissed all of his brethren in a kiss of reconciliation,
and he wept upon them. And after this, his brethren
talked with him, communed with him. You imagine what they talked
about. What all happened to you, Joseph,
while he was down here? You think he would tell them
about Potiphar's house? being in the prison, being forgot about
for two years. Sit down and talk to him. Got
a lot of questions. I got a lot of questions I like to ask. And he talked to him. What fellowship,
what communion? And the fame, verse 16, was heard
in Pharaoh's house, and Joseph's brethren were come, and it pleased
Pharaoh well and his servants. Now notice verse 17. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph,
say unto thy brethren, notice those next three little words,
this do ye. Who's speaking? Pharaoh's speaking. This do ye. Laid your pieces and go. Is there any question what they're
supposed to do? Any question here? No. Who's speaking? God's
speaking. This do ye, laid ye beast, load
ye beast, and go. What did our Lord say? All power
is given unto me and to heaven and the earth. Therefore, go. Isn't it? Go, word, into all
the world and preach the gospel. What are we gonna say when we
go preach the gospel? Jesus Christ is alive and he's
sitting upon the throne, ruling over all things. This do ye. And take your, watch this, and
take your father and your household and come unto me. and I will give you the good
of the land of Egypt and you shall eat of the fat of the lamb.
I'm gonna give it all to you, it's all by grace. Verse 19,
now thou art commanded. What is a command? That's exactly
what it is, it's a command. Now you are commanded, this do
ye. He's not inviting them, this
do ye. What are they to do? Take you
wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and for
your wives and bring your father and come. You see the picture? He's sending
them with everything they will need for the journey there and
for the journey back. He's saying, get you some wagons. I don't think these were just
little rinky-dink things that we'd see in a Western movie. These were probably ornate, fine
wagons. Why are they sent for? They sent
on purpose. He said, you take them, and you
go to Canaan, and you go get my family. And you bring them. and you bring them. He's sending
them to go fetch them, to go get them. Okay, and when you go, what are
you to do? The next verse, verse 20, and
regard not your stuff. Come on, Joseph is alive, come,
let's go dig. Wait a minute, I gotta pack my
stuff. The wagon is full. The wagon
has everything you could need. What do you need your stuff for? We have a lot of stuff, don't
we? I've told this many times when
me and Sandy got married and After a few years, I was going
to sell the house that me and Debbie had, and I was going to
buy a place for me and Sandy. So it would be ours. So we bought
that place, and we wanted to fix it up. We worked on it for
about six months. About then six months, I'm just
wore slap out. We move in, let me tell you.
So we moved into it, I think the 17th of July. I've lived
at this other house for 30 years. I got a lot of stuff. We move
in on July the 17th. The first weekend in September,
I tell the people in Cottagefield I will be their pastor. I've
gotta move some more stuff. And I begin to see it's nothing
but stuff. Everything I need is in the wagon. Set your affections upon things
above, not on the things of the earth. He said, you gonna live
in a land of Goshen? Everything in Egypt's yours.
You think they sent them wagons empty? I don't think so. As I thought about this, I was
thinking about the message. You know, we've seen old Western
shows, and you know, when they go moving out west to go on the
old Oregon Trail, man, the women would pack everything in the
world in that wagon. When things got rough, you know
what they started doing? They started emptying that wagon. Why would
they do that? It's really not too important. He said, and he tells them, because
he knows when they go, he knows that we're just flesh, and we
want that stuff. Don't regard the stuff. For the
good of all the land of Egypt is yours. And the children of
Israel did so. And Joseph gave them wagons according
to the commandment of Pharaoh, and he gave them provisions for
the way. And to all them he gave each man changes of raiment, clothed in the righteousness
of Christ, the garments of salvation. But to Benjamin he gave 300 pieces
of silver and five changes of raiment. Well, why did he give
Benjamin that much? I tell you why, it's his brother,
he loved him. And he can do what he wills,
with his own. And to his father he sent, after
this manner, ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt,
and ten she-asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his
father by the way. So he sent his brethren away,
and they departed. And he said unto them, see that ye don't fall out by
the way. You know how we do. It was your fault. I told you
not to throw him in. I told you we shouldn't have
sold him. Like I said, he remembers we're
just dust. Forgiving one another as I have
forgiven you for Christ's sake. Don't fall out, by the way. And they went up out of Egypt
and came into the land of Canaan and to Jacob. Their father. And they said to their father,
I can see these boys. Boy, I'm gonna be the first to
tell daddy. I lied to him for years. I wanted
to be the first one to tell daddy. Daddy, Joseph's lie. You're not gonna believe this.
I know you believed he was dead for 20 long years. He's alive. You know what man has done by
nature? He has changed the truth of God into a lie and he worships
and serves the creature more than the creator. You can't change
the word of God. Men exchange it, what they do
for a lie. Because men won't believe the
truth, God'll send them strong delusion and they'll believe
a lie. But here he sends this man, this family, he sent them
the truth. Where did these wagons go? They
didn't just go anywhere. They went directly to Jacob's
house. They're going there with the news. They're going there
with the wagons. They're going there with all the provisions.
They're coming to this house and the greatest thing they have,
the greatest news they have is Christ is alive. He's sitting
on the throne. Joseph is alive. And Jacob believes it not. You know, the disciples had a
problem with this. When our Lord was risen from
the grave, did they just believe it? Listen to what Thomas said in
John chapter 20, verse 25. We know that our Lord appeared
to the other disciples and Thomas was not there. So what Thomas
has heard, he's heard from those who have saw. And the other disciples
therefore said unto Thomas, we've seen the Lord, but he said unto
them, except I see in his hands the print of the nails and put
my fingers into the print of the nails and thrust my hand
into his side, I will not believe. That's pretty bold, isn't it?
I will not, I will not believe. What did our Lord say to those
that he met on the road to Emmaus? Oh, fools and slow of heart to
believe all that the prophets have spoken. Ought not Christ
to have suffered these things and to have entered into his
glory? And you remember what the Pharisees
did when the men that were watching the tomb, they ran to the Pharisees
and they said, he's rose from the grave. And they said, no,
no, no, this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna give you some
money and you just tell everybody that they come stole his body.
And that lie, that report was commonly reported among the Jews,
he said, even at that time. So what does most peaceful believe?
He didn't rise from the dead. His disciples came and stole
his body. What do most people believe about
Jesus Christ? You know what they believe. They believe his death
didn't accomplish anything. That it was not a substitute.
I tell you this, the only reason
you believe, it's grace. Everything, listen to me, even
as a believer, everything in you apart from grace says I don't,
like Thomas, I won't believe it. I can't believe it. I can't
believe it. Joseph is without debt, without
doubt, rent in pieces. Spurgeon said this idea, though
it was most painful to Jacob, had nevertheless eaten its way
into his belief, and he could not get away from it. He said, there may be many who
write bitter things against themselves and say, I shall be lost. I know I shall. It's not possible
that Christ could ever save me. He will certainly reject me. He said, although that is quite
untrue, as untrue as Jacob's belief that Joseph was dead,
that they have hugged their despair so long that they just can't
give it up. I'm just too bad. He wouldn't
forgive me. He wouldn't show me mercy. Christ came into the world to
save sinners. He probably came to save sinners,
but not this wicked sinner. When Jacob hears the truth, it
says his heart faints. Oh, the thoughts, as I thought
about this, that must have run through Jacob's mind. You think
about when he hears this. He never imagined hearing this. When the boys leave, they leave
with empty sacks. They're going back to get corn,
and they think they can buy the corn. They can't buy the corn
that's given to them. And when they leave, Simeon's
in Egypt, he's locked up, and he's having to turn Benjamin
loose, and he's the only one at home, and he's by himself.
I can see him say, will I ever see Benjamin again? Will I ever
see Simeon again? Will I ever see any of the other
sons again? Will I ever see them? God's left
him alone. And all these things are going
through his mind. I can see him thinking these
things. And now his son's come back and where'd you get them
coats at? Where's all this, where'd these
asses come from? They said, Daddy, we got something
to tell you. Joseph ain't dead. Wouldn't that have been the greatest
news? And he can't believe it. He can't believe it. How can I believe this news?
It's just too good to be true. Would God really show me mercy? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and thou shalt be saved. Jacob was wrong, and so are you,
not to believe. There is nothing that brings
such despair as unbelief. But it says, when he began to
believe, his heart revived. I am black, but comely. I sleep, but my heart waketh. Think with me. Can this really,
Joe, can this really be true? Can that news really be true? Someone said faith makes our
spirits revive, but unbelief seems to strike us dead. In Mark's
account after our Lord was risen from the dead in Mark 16 verse
nine, when he was first risen the first day of the week, he
appeared to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he'd cast the seven devils.
He showed mercy to that sinner. And she went and told them that
had been with him, and as they mourned and they wept, and when
they had heard that he was alive and had been seen of her, believed
not. And after that, he appeared in
another form unto two of them as they walked and went into
the country, and they went and told it to the residue. Neither
they believed them. Afterward, he appeared unto the
leaven, as they said, it me. And he upbraided them with their
unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them
which had seen him, and told them he was risen from the dead.
And he told them, our Lord told these people that he was gonna
rise from the dead. Oh yeah, he told them. But why
didn't they believe? Jacob, why don't you believe
it? What did God send to Jacob to convince him? He sent the testimony of his
sons. Every one of them is gonna say
the same thing. Judah, yes, Joseph. Simeon, yes,
Joseph. I can see him lastly look at
Benjamin and say, Benjamin, is it Joseph? Oh, daddy, it's Joseph,
all right. He sent these men to Jacob. Oh, what a blessing when God
sends the gospel to you and to convince you and tell
you that Jesus Christ sits upon the throne. He rules and reigns.
He's alive. They said, come on, we're going
back to Egypt. Don't regard your stuff. They
said, come on. Today's today of salvation. What are you waiting around for? What are we waiting for? There's
nothing here for us. All there is here is a famine.
And let me tell you, if you don't get in the wagon, you'll starve
to death. Today, if you hear his voice,
Harden not your hearts. Our Lord revealed himself to
many after his resurrection. One time it said he revealed
himself to over 500 at one time. Remember what the Queen of Sheba
said? She said, it was a true report
that I heard in my own land. What they heard, it was a true
report. Only God can give you faith to
believe it. And you know something? The gospel
of God's free sovereign grace is such a wonderful story, such
a true report. It's so true, so simple, so plain,
and we make it so complicated with our unbelief. They told him about the purpose
of God, that why he was sitting up on the throne. Did you ever
think about this as we read this chapter? Why didn't Joseph go
himself? I think the same reason that
Abraham did not send Isaac when he went to get Rebekah, his bride. Why does God save sinners this
way? How does he save sinners? He reveals himself to a man,
and he sends that man, and he said, you go tell other sinners,
other beggars, that there's salvation in Christ. It's one beggar telling
another beggar where he got bread. He hears, what does Jacob hear?
He hears about the land of Goshen. He didn't know anything about
Goshen. He'd never heard about Goshen. What's Goshen? Well,
let me describe it to you. Daddy, he said, in the land of
Goshen, he would take care of us. He would nourish us. He would protect us. We're going
to a strange land. We're going to a bunch of Egyptians. We're going to the land of Ham.
How we gonna live? How we gonna live? God said he'd
provide. He said, come down and dwell in
the good land. And he said, you'll be near to
me and I'll nurse you. I'll give you rest. And then
he said, also, you remember what Joseph said? He said, you tell
him about my glory. Well, what's Joseph's glory?
Is it that he sits on his throne and has all these servants? I'll tell you something greater
than that. What did he tell Moses? He said, I beseech thee, Moses
said, show me glory. He said, I'll make all my goodness
pass before thee, and I'll proclaim the name of the Lord before thee,
and I'll be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I'll
show mercy to whom I will show mercy. Do them boys know anything
about mercy? When they're standing there before
Joseph and they know he has the right to kill them because of
who they are and what they've done, and he shows them mercy,
that's his goodness. That's his glory. That's his
glory. He said, Daddy, we've seen his
glory. You know, that man that spoke
roughly to us, he showed us mercy. Christ said, Father, I will,
the day whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, the
day may behold my glory. How's Jacob going to see it?
The same way you do. By faith. Everything Jacob's
hearing, he's hearing. Faith comes by hearing and hearing
by the word of God. He's not seen Joseph with these
eyes. He's heard. He's heard. And I love this part. It said
in verse 27, They told him all the words of
Joseph, which he had said unto them. And when he saw the wagons,
which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their
father, revived. I can see him talking to him,
and I can just see him in my mind, I don't believe it. And
I can see him say, Daddy, come here, I want to show you something.
And they walk outside and say, Daddy, you see all this. It said when he saw the wagons,
his heart revived. God convinced him. Convinced him. Few things I thought about this
morning about the wagons. Well, first of all, they were
sent. And they were sent by Joseph. Something else, they are loaded
wagons. with benefits. Oh, the unsearchable riches of
Christ that he brings to you. And you know what he also said?
He said when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry
him, he don't have to walk. This man's
probably 130 years old. He gets to ride. I thought about Isaiah chapter
46 verse four. And even to your old age, I am
he. And even to your hoar hair, your
gray hairs, will I carry you? I have made and I will bear,
even I will carry and I will deliver. You know what he's saying?
Daddy, he sent the wagons to come get you and he's gonna carry
you all the way down. That's grace. Because you can't walk. I'm gonna
carry you. I'll leave you this to think
about. Do you know in Numbers chapter seven it speaks of covered
wagons? Numbers chapter seven, verses
three through eight. When you get home between now
and the night, you look at that. Where'd those covered wagons
come from? These were Egyptian slaves when they came out. Well,
they had to bring them out from Egypt, and there's six wagons,
and there's two ox pulling each wagon, one ox for each tribe
of Israel. I think it was Gil or Hawker,
one said, you know what they put in those wagons? The things
from the tabernacle. You think with me. What is inside
that wagon? All the glory of Christ. It's
all here, those wagons picture Christ. He comes to get you,
all the riches, all the abundance, all the glories in Christ, it's
all in him. And I thought about the ox, and
you go, what about the old oxen? Who are the oxen? Those are the
preachers that God uses that just go into all the world. He
said, don't muzzle the ox, it treads out the corn. It's just
an old ox. Man, he's pulling a wagon. And Jacob said, son, when you
all went down, all you had was empty sacks. Where in the world
did you get all these wagons? You couldn't have bought them? And I can see them boys saying,
daddy, he sent all them to get you and your whole family, your
wives, and all your children, and every one of you, they're
gonna ride in them wagons. That's how we're going. That's how you're going. They were evidence of Joseph's
greatness. Someone said it can picture faith,
which brings you to Christ. And as we ride in those wagons,
we just... I can rest. Rest. He said when he saw the wagons,
his heart revived. Lord, stir my heart. Enable me
to believe. Can I be honest? Sometimes I
have a hard time believing. I want to believe. I read, and
it seems sometimes it's like everything's just shut up. But my faith better not rest
in my faith. My faith better rest in Christ,
the object of my faith. Nothing else matters. It's Christ
and him alone. You know what Jacob said when he
sold the wagons? It's enough. That's all I need. Where do I sit down and write? This one thing I've desired and
that will I seek after. He said that I may go and see
Joseph before I die. He desired nothing so much as
to see the object of his affections before he would not believe,
but now he is moved to leave all the stuff and go to Christ. Do you think he's looking now
with anticipation? Now, Bobby, I believe. And I can't wait to see him. What a day that will be, for
my Jesus I shall see, and I'll look upon his face, the one who
saved me by his grace. He said, it's enough, Joseph, my
son is yet alive, and I will go see him before I die. Jacob's whole soul was wrapped
up in his darling son, and in his determination to visit him,
he lost sight of all his temporary interest and thought of only
enjoying the plenty of Egypt, only to see his darling son. Listen, I will go and see him
before I die. Make haste, tarry not, mind not
your stuff, get into the wagon, and come to Christ. And in verse
one of chapter 46, and Israel took his journey with all that
he had to see Christ. Amen.
Pristine Grace functions as a digital library of preaching and teaching from many different men and ministries. I maintain a broad collection for research, study, and listening, and the presence of any preacher or message here should not be taken as a blanket endorsement of every doctrinal position expressed.
I publish my own convictions openly and without hesitation throughout this site and in my own preaching and writing. This archive is not a denominational clearinghouse. My aim in maintaining it is to preserve historic and contemporary preaching, encourage careful study, and above all direct readers and listeners to the person and work of Christ.
