John 1.35. I'll do my best to
be brief this morning because I know it helps. I remember things
better when I don't have so much to remember. But I don't want
us to miss this. John 1.35. Again, the next day
after, John stood and two of his disciples And looking upon
Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God. And the
two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Now
this is the desire of everyone who points sinners to the Lamb
of God, that they might follow him. Paul wanted those to whom
he preached to follow his example. But only in this sense, 1 Corinthians
11 1, be ye followers of me, Paul said, even as I also am of Christ. You see that? Let's together
follow Christ. And if I can be used of God as
an example in that, if the Lord uses me to lead you in following
Him, and that's what a pastor does. then my joy is fulfilled,"
John said. John the Baptist in John 3, 29,
they said, everybody's following Christ. This one that you baptized,
they're all following Him. He said, my joy is fulfilled.
That's what I've been telling you to do. There He is. Behold.
Behold the Lamb of God. Let me make this statement. I
know you know this already, but I want this to sink in. There
is nothing that I can do for you. I can't do anything for you."
Period. But I point you to the One that
can forgive your sins if He wants to. John said He takes away the
sin of the world. John said, I'm not the Christ,
but there's One who can take your sins away. Behold, there
He is. And they believed Him. You know how I know they believed
Him? It says they heard Him speak. There in verse 37, the two disciples
heard Him speak. Have you heard what I've been
telling you for four years? Or however long you've been coming
here? Have you heard me? You know how you know when somebody
hears you? They do what you tell them. How do I know my children
heard me? Now, it might have gone in this
ear. But did they really hear what I said? Did they understand
now what I was telling them? I'll know they did when they
do what I told them. John said, Behold the Lamb of
God. And they heard Him. And I know
they did. You know why? Because they followed Him. They
heard what John said. Now as these two disciples literally
followed Christ, they're walking behind Him now. They didn't just
follow Him in word or in doctrine. I want you to believe the truth,
the doctrine. But you're going to have to actually
follow Christ. They didn't just say, oh, we
believe in the Messiah. John said, there He is. And they
went after Him. And you will too by faith. You'll
lay hold of Him. That's what faith does. It lays
hold of the only true object of faith in actuality. And as they literally followed
Him, it says, Jesus turned and saw them follow Him. And saith
unto them, What seek ye? What a question. They said unto him, Rabbi, which
is to say, being interpreted, Master, who's your master? The Lamb of
God, the one that can take my sin away. That's my master. Thomas
said, My Lord and my God. When? When he showed him the
nail prints in his hands. The one that died for me and
shed his precious blood, that effectual blood that takes away
sin. My Lord and my God. And he said, they said, Where dwellest thou? Where do you live? And he saith
unto them, Come and see. That's the title of the message
this morning. Come and see. And they came and saw. I like
the language, don't you? He said, come and see. And what
did they do? They came and they saw. And they saw where he lived.
Why did they ask him that? I believe that question is answered
right here. And abode with him that day. They wanted to know
where he lived so they could go there too. Be with him. They
wanted to be with him. For it was about the tenth hour.
The Lord asks searching, important, vital questions. The Lord asks
you these questions. When Adam sinned and fell in
the garden of Eden, it was the Lord Jesus Christ that walked
in the garden and said, Adam, where are you? Why did he ask him that? He knew
where he was. Why in the world did he ask him
that? The response that Adam gives tells why he asked the
question. Adam said, I was afraid and I
hid myself. That's why God asked the question
so Adam would see where he was. Fallen from the grace and favor
of God. In a terrible place. A place
of fear and shame. and sinfulness. The Lord Jesus Christ asked that
blind man in John 9. He'd been asked a lot of questions
by the Pharisees. The Lord said, Do you believe
on the Son of God? You see what kind of questions
He asks? When the Master asks a question,
it's something to consider. And He asked these men this question. What seek ye? Oh, why are you following me
today? Many followed the Lord Jesus
Christ because of the miracles that He did. Were these doing
that? Were they just wanting to see
some spectacular display of power? And He said to those, I know
why you're following Me. And it says He didn't commit
Himself unto them because He knew what was in their hearts.
They were just wanting to see a magic show. And there were
others that followed him because of the free meal, because of
the loaves and the fishes. And Christ said to them, I know
why you're following me. He knew their hearts. He didn't
need anybody to tell him what was in man. And he knew John
and Andrew's hearts too when he said to them, what seek ye?
But he asked the question for a purpose, not to find out. He
never, God never asks a question to get information. And here
you are this morning in a worship service. And not just any worship
service. And I say this without reservation.
You're in a worship service where men and women are truly met together
in the name of Christ. The church, whoever that is here,
God's true sheep here, we're met together in the name of Christ.
It's for His glory. It's to worship Him, not to bring
attention to you or me. not to congratulate one another
or to give one another prizes for being the oldest one or the
longest one saved or anything like that. We're not going to
honor men. We come together in His name for His glory. We don't
have any entertainment, no pressure, no begging for money. We're not
interested in numbers. We're not interested in anything
that this religious world calls success. We're just here to preach
and to hear. The Gospel of Christ. I came
to tell you how God can be just and justify a sinner. And you
came to hear that and rejoice in it. We came to hear of God's
Lamb whose precious blood takes away sin. And here you are, every
one of you, sitting in this worship service. What seek ye? Why did
you come this morning? They said to Him, Where do you
live? They wanted to know about Him.
Not about a what. He said, what seek ye? But they
were interested in a who. You see that? Where do you live?
That's where we want to be. We want to know where we can
find you when we need to. They were interested in Him and
where they might find Him. And they abode with Him that
day. I love His answer to them. Come
and see." Philip said exactly these same
words to Nathanael in verse 46. Did you notice that as we read
it? Oh, so conspicuous, these three
words in this text. Come and see. Christ said that
to John and Andrew. And then Philip said to Nathanael,
we found the Messiah. Nathaniel said, Can any good
thing come out of Nazareth? Nazareth. And he said, Come and
see. Come and see. The Lord Jesus
Christ said to his disciples one time, Blessed are your eyes
for they see. To come to Christ is to see.
You come to Him, you'll see all of the purpose and glory of God
fulfilled in Him. To come to Him is to see that.
And to see Him is to come. If you ever see who He is and
what He did for sinners, you're coming. That's why I don't beg
you. I don't try to get you down here
to do some nonsense. I just preach Him because if
you ever see Him, if God ever reveals Him to you, you're coming
to Him. My sheep hear My voice and they
follow Me. All that the Father giveth Me
shall come to Me." When? When He's lifted up. If I be
lifted up, I'll draw all men unto Myself. So we're just going
to lift Him up if we can. If He'll enable us to do that.
Come and see. Can I borrow these words from
the Master this morning? If I don't use His words, whose
words am I using? Let me use this for a little
while. Come and see. Come and see. beseech you this
morning, I would encourage you, I would recommend to you with
all of my heart that you come and see the sovereign Christ. Oh, not many have seen Him. They
see the babe in the manger, and they see the miracle worker,
and they see the one that goes about blessing everybody. Ah,
but when they see a throne, by nature we want to climb up on
that thing, don't we? We don't like to see the Son of God on
that throne. Not by nature now. He said you'll see hereafter
the Son of Man ascending up and sitting on the right hand of
the Majesty on high. You're going to see the Son of
God exalted to the very throne of heaven. And it says, then
they picked up stones to stone Him. We will not have this man
to reign over us. We will not. Not by nature. Come
and see. Come and see if you will. Perhaps
bow to this one. If you ever see him, you will.
Come and see what manner of man this is. They were on that little
ship and the storm rose up and the winds blew and the waves
crashed that ship. They said, we're going to die.
And they went down and found him sleeping. The Son of Man,
but the Son of God. He was asleep down there in the
bottom of the ship. Don't you care that we perish?
How is it that you don't have any faith? Peace, be still. And they said, what kind of man
is this? Come and see. Come and see. The sovereign of the seas is
the sovereign of the soul. He says to man's wicked heart
that's like the ocean. The Scripture says it's just
casting up mire all the time. He speaks peace to the heart.
Peace be still. And the wicked, wild ass's cold
heart of man lays down like a lamb before his feet. Peace be still. What manner of man is this? Come
and see. He is God's sovereign lamb. Have
you ever thought about Him as He's revealed in that character?
He's the lamb that sits on the throne. What's a lamb doing on
the throne? That's his redemptive character
as the lamb, the sacrificial, substitutionary lamb of God.
But he's the lamb that sits on the throne. He said, I'll have
mercy now. There's mercy in his precious
shed blood, but I'll have mercy on whom I'll have mercy because
he's the king that sits on the throne who is the lamb. God said,
Everybody in this world, in this wicked, God-hating world mocks
and refuses to bow. He said, yet have I set my King
on my holy hill. Come and see. Come and see the
Sovereign Christ. You won't see Him in very many
places talked about. You won't hear Him talked about.
I would to God that I could speak to you this morning about the
Sovereign Christ. He was in perfect command everywhere
he went and in every circumstance in which he was when he walked
this earth. He was in command. He knew every heart, every thought.
There's not a word in my tongue, O Lord, but thou knowest it altogether.
While it's still in my tongue, it hasn't even been spoken, you
already know it. He knew the hearts of everybody. He didn't need that anybody tell
him about man. He knew man and what was in man. He's sovereign in salvation.
He said, My sheep hear My voice, and I know them. I know who they
are. I know My sheep, and I'm known
of Mine. And they follow Me, and I give
unto them. Come and see the sovereign Christ,
whose it is to give eternal life as a free gift. You come and
see Him, and He can give you eternal life. You don't have to wonder. You don't have to do anything.
You don't have to earn it. If you try, you're not qualified. You've got to leave your works
behind and come to Him who has it to give eternal life. You see, you can't pay for it. Come without money and without
price. If you've got anything to pay, then you can't come like
that. Give it away. Get rid of it.
As Paul said, I leave those things behind and press toward the mark
of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ and come to
Him who gives salvation freely without money and without price.
I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish.
Does that sound like somebody that's standing over in the corner
waiting for you to do something for Him? I know who my sheep
are. And I give them eternal life.
And because I do, they're never going to perish. And nobody can
pluck them out of my hand. Come see Him. I would. If you
ever see the sovereign Christ, you'll bow to Him. And you'll
do it gladly. It won't offend you anymore that
He's on the throne and not you. Not if you see Him. You'll thank
God. And you'll shout with John, worthy
is the Lamb. worthy. Come see a Christ. Come see a Jesus who never ever
tried to do anything. He never has yet tried to do
anything. And when He came to do what He
came to do, He did it. He did it. He can't fail in the
work that He came to do. He said, I come to save my people
from their sins. And He did it. I would to God,
I could tell you about the Sovereign Christ. Come and see Him. And
then come and see the effectual Redeemer. Come and see this Lamb
of God that John pointed to and identified. His blood is the
blood of an everlasting covenant. His blood was shed for a purpose.
It has eternal scope. In Hebrews 13 20 it says, Now
the God of peace that brought again from the dead our Lord
Jesus that great shepherd of the sheep through the blood of
the everlasting covenant make you perfect in every good work
to do his will working in you that which is well pleasing in
his sight through Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and
ever amen a covenant was made in eternity. It's an everlasting
covenant. A covenant is an agreement between
two parties that is contingent upon terms and conditions. A covenant was struck between
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And in that everlasting
covenant, the Lord Jesus Christ agreed to meet all of the terms
and conditions necessary that his people might be saved from
their sins." What does God require? He requires righteousness. That's one of the conditions.
If God's going to count you just, you're going to have to be just.
It's just that simple. How can that be? The Lord is
my righteousness. Well, and I'll tell you what
else God requires. He requires that you pay for your sins. The
soul that sinneth, it shall die. God shall by no means, the Scripture
says, clear the guilty. He's not going to count you.
He's not going to just wink at it. He's not just going to sweep
it under a rug. You're going to have to pay for your sins.
How could I do that? Here's my sin offering. Here's my lamb. A substitute died in my place
and paid my sin debt fully and freely. That's the condition. Now, your sins have to be paid
for. They are. How? By the blood of the Lamb. A covenant,
an everlasting covenant. His blood is the blood of that
covenant. An effectual Redeemer. Ah, the
so-called gospel of this religious age. What a mockery it is to
the souls of men and a disgrace to the name of God. that God
would make something possible, that He would do all He can do
and then leave it up to men to do what they can't do. What a joke. Verse 40, And one of the two which heard
John speak and followed him was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first findeth his own brother
Simon, and saith unto him, we have found the Messiah which
is being interpreted the Christ we found God's Christ the one
he's been talking about and prophesied since the beginning and he brought
him to Jesus and when Jesus beheld him he said thou art Simon the
son of Jonah thou shalt be called Cephas which is by interpretation
a stone a stone he changed his name Now, the second of the two
of these disciples is almost certainly John. He said there
were two, and then he says one of them was Andrew. Well, the
other one's almost certainly John, the one that wrote this
book. You remember he refers to himself when he is forced
to refer to himself in order to be true to the event as the
disciple whom Jesus loved. He never identifies himself by
name. in this book. And so the very
fact that the second one here is not named at all, it not being
necessary, indicates that it was almost certainly John. But
Simon Peter, Simon Peter met the Master this way. The Lord
Jesus Christ knew Peter before the foundation of the world.
And Peter met the Master through these means. because Andrew was
excited about finding Christ and ran to Peter and brought
his brother Simon to Christ. Did you see that wording there?
He first findeth his own brother and saith unto him we have found
the Messiah which is being interpreted the Christ and he brought him
to Jesus He didn't get him saved. This is just a natural, common
thing. If I'm excited about anything, I'm going to tell you about it.
I'm going to say, you've got to see this. Something comes on TV that
impresses me. I'll say, honey, you've got to
see this. That's just natural. But God used those means to bring
Peter to himself. Now this idea of bringing someone
to Christ needs to be understood. We want our loved ones to be
introduced to Christ. And that happens today through
His gospel. We bring people to Christ by
bringing them to hear of Him. But we understand that when we
bring somebody to Christ, it's His prerogative to save them
or not. He doesn't owe us anything, does
He? Nor anyone that I love. And I'm content to leave the
matter in His hands. He's plenteous in mercy. And
I know this, He'll do what's right. He'll do what's right,
won't He? Are you content to leave the
matter in His hands? To leave it into the hands of
the King of mercy? Who has mercy on whom He will?
But I'll tell you this too, whether He's willing or not, whether
He saves those that I love or not, I'm determined to bring
him to Christ. I want him to know who He is,
don't you? All he did, all Andrew did here was just say, here's
Christ. You need to see Him. You need
to come and see. Behold what I've beheld. Do you
do that? Is that the desire of your heart?
I want those that I love to know the One that I know. That's not
some miraculous thing. That's not me doing some great
wonderful work of some kind. That's just natural. I'm determined,
if God gives me grace, to bring those that I love to Christ in
this way. Just a simple thing. And He may or may not use that.
But I know that He can. I know that He can. And I'm determined
like Andrew was. In Mark 10.13 it says, they brought
young children to Him. Now picture this. If you had
a young child and you knew that the Lord Jesus Christ was in
the area. It says they brought their young
children to them that he should touch them. And his disciples
rebuked those that brought them. Would you do that? Would you
say that's not how people are saying it? You know, what are
you doing that for? Why are you troubling him with
that? But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said
unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and
forbid them not. For of such is the kingdom of
God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom
of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein." That thief on the cross, a grown
man responsible for what he had done, paying the price for it,
he came to Christ as a little child, didn't he? Lord, remember
me. Remember me. And it says, He
took these little children up in His arms. Can you picture
the Son of God? And here's a little... We call them innocent children,
don't we? They're not. These little sinful, wretched,
little, vile creatures. Oh, they're precious to us now.
But He's God. He knows what they are. He took
them up in His arms. And it says He put His hands
upon them and blessed them. They brought their children to
Him. You see that? God may save my children or He
may not. They don't deserve it. If He
doesn't, He'll do what's right. But I am determined by His grace
that they know who He is. I want to bring them unto Him.
Don't you? And let Him do with them as seemeth Him good. Because what seemeth Him good
is good. Come and see. I want to bring
you to the Lord Jesus. Come and see on Sunday mornings
and on Wednesday nights. Come see. Let me tell you about
it. In verse 43, the day following,
Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith
unto him, Follow me. Now Philip was of Bethsaida,
the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip findeth Nathanael, and
said unto him, We have found him of whom Moses in the law
and the prophets did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him,
Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? And Philip saith
unto him, Come and see. Now Philip and apparently Andrew
and Peter too were from Bethsaida. Do you remember the city of Bethsaida? In Matthew 11, 21, the Lord Jesus
Christ pronounced a curse upon the city of Bethsaida. He said,
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto thee, Bethsaida! For
if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in
Tyre and Sidon, They would have repented long ago in sackcloth
and ashes." He pre-condemned the city of the Satan. Except
for Philip and Peter and Andrew. The Lord calls his sheep out
of the godless pit of wretched vile iniquity and sin. A condemned pit. of godless,
black-hearted rebels. But He calls us out of those,
doesn't He? We're condemned like them. By
nature, the children of wrath, even as others. We ought to be
condemned like them. But He calls His sheep out. He
often calls one out of a family of vile reprobates. Abraham,
his father in that whole clan was a bunch of idolatrous Godless
infidels. But not Abraham. God found him
that way. God found him that way. And called
him out of darkness into his marvelous light. We find Philip
often hereafter in the Word of God. Philip eventually preached
the gospel. In Samaria it said he preached
there and many believed on Christ. And then after that, God sent
him out into the desert because the Lord had a sheep out there
in the middle of the desert from Ethiopia. And he sent Philip
to preach unto him Jesus from the very scripture he was reading.
But let's remember this also. It was Philip in John 14.8. The Lord Jesus Christ said, You
know where I'm going and you know my Father and you've seen
the Father. And Philip said, We haven't seen the Father. Show
us the Father and it sufficeth us. And the Lord Jesus said,
Philip, have I been with you all this time and you don't know
me? There's not any of us that know
much. We're chosen and blessed of God.
We're His little sheep. But not because we know Him.
Not because of our great knowledge and our great faith. He said
to His choice disciples, how is it that you have no faith?
He won't save us apart from faith, but our faith is not worth talking
about, is it? The only reason it's worth talking
about is because the object of it is Christ. Christ alone. And our knowledge We don't know
much. That old blind man in John chapter
9, I can't answer your questions, he said, but I know this. I was
blind and the Lord Jesus came my way and now I can see. That
was about the extent of it. We don't know much, but old Philip,
the Lord blessed Philip, called him out of a wicked place. How
about you? And notice who it was that Philip
believed in. He said, we have found Him of
whom Moses in the law and the prophets did write. He didn't
say, I found somebody that made me feel good about myself. He
said, I found the one that God has revealed in His Word. Is
that who you believed on? Or you just heard somebody that
sounded smart, sounded like they know what they're talking about,
you know? I'll believe. That makes sense. That makes
me feel good. I believe. I believe. I believe
what God said concerning His Son by His grace." That's the
one he believed on, the one that God had revealed by His prophet
Moses. And all the prophets set forth
in His Word. He recognized the person from
the revelation of God. He said, I found the one who
God said in His Word would come. Do you believe Him as He's revealed
in this book? That's the Christ we believe
in. The sovereign, effectual Redeemer. Not the Jesus that
everybody's talking about and everybody's singing, oh how I
love Him. Not too many people love this Christ. Just the ones
that loved Him because He first loved them. God help me to preach to you
the Christ of the Bible. And if I do, believe on Him. That's who Philip believed on.
You see the difference? Do you believe the record that
God hath given concerning His Son? 1 John 5, 10, He that believeth
on the Son of God hath the witness in Himself. And he that believeth
not, God hath made him a liar, because he believeth not the
record that God gave of His Son. And this is the record. That
God hath given unto sinners eternal life, and this life's in His
Son. That's the record. Do you believe
in Him? That one? had seen things that few other
men had ever seen. He went up into a mountain one
day with the Lord Jesus Christ and saw Him transfigured before
him. How would you have liked to have
seen the glory of God in the face of the Nazarene carpenter? Peter saw that, but he said,
Peter said in 2 Peter 1.16, We have not followed cunningly devised
fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ. When we preached this one to
you, we weren't telling you fairy tales, but were eyewitnesses
of his majesty. For he received from God the
Father honor and glory when there came such a voice to him from
the excellent glory, this is my beloved son in whom I am well
pleased." Peter was there when that happened. And this voice
which came from heaven we heard when we were with him in the
holy mount. But he said this then, verse
19, we have also a more sure word of prophecy. He said, I
saw and heard with my ears, saw with these eyes, the one I'm
telling you about. But there's something a lot more
sure than that. God revealed him in his book. We have a more sure word of prophecy. Whereunto you do well that you
take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until
the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. Ah, is
that the word of God to you? We have no light. Who God is,
what we are before God, how God can save a wretched sinner like
me. except his precious word he believed
the one that moses wrote about he believed god concerning his
son there he is that's him and did you notice the language here
and we'll be through the lord jesus christ found philip in
verse forty three look at it again it says he found philip Verse 43 of John 1. The day following, Jesus would
go forth into Galilee and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow
me. But then look at verse 45. Philip
findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We found him. In Luke 19.10, it says this,
The Son of Man is come. Why did Christ come to this earth?
To seek and to save that which is lost. He came looking for
us. In Luke 15, verse 4, the Lord
Jesus Christ told a parable and He said this, What man of you,
having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, doth not leave
the ninety and nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost? Is that language of blessing
to you that the Lord Jesus Christ went after you? He went after
you. You go after that one that's
lost. And when he hath found it, the
Lord Jesus Christ found Philip, found him. And when he hath found
it, he layeth it on his shoulders rejoicing. He brings it home. And when he cometh home, that's
where he brings us home. To be absent from the body is
to be at home with the Lord. He calls together his friends
and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I found
my sheep, which was lost." That's Christ. He finds us. He comes
seeking us. David says, Surely goodness and
mercy shall pursue me all the days of my life. In Acts 17.26, it says this, Paul was preaching to those Athenians,
and he said, God hath made of one blood all nations of men,
for to dwell in all the face of the earth, and hath determined
the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation,
that they should seek the Lord. Seek the Lord. Have you found
Him? Seek Him. If happily they might feel after
Him, and find Him. Find Him. Philip found the Lord.
though he be not far from every one of us." Will you starve to
death with food sitting on the table? Isaiah 55, 6. This is God's commandment
now. Seek ye the Lord while He may
be found. Call ye upon Him while He is
near. So, Brother Chris, do you seek
the Lord or does He seek you and find you? Yes. Yes, God commands you to seek
after Him. He said in Jeremiah 29, 13, you'll
seek Me and you'll find Me when you search with Me, for Me, with
all your heart. That's when you'll find Me. That's
when all of His people will find Him. You will come to Christ
if you're His. He said, all that the Father
giveth Me will come. They're coming. Does that upset
you to know that, or does it comfort you? People don't mind believing in
blind faith, do they? They say, oh, well, what goes
around comes around. I believe everything happens
for a purpose. But put God on the throne, and they'll try to
kill Him in their hearts. They'll believe in a blind faith
that everything happens for a reason. But if it happens because God
wants it to happen that way, oh, they rebel against that.
You talk about reprobates by nature. And when you find the Lord Jesus
Christ, you'll discover that He found you long before you
ever sought Him. That's what happened in the rest
of this chapter. And we'll look at it more closely
later, but that's exactly what happened In the last verses of
this chapter, it happened to Nathanael. Philip brought Nathanael.
The Lord found Philip. And then Philip said, I found
him. And then Philip went and found Nathanael and took Nathanael
to the Lord Jesus Christ. And when they found Christ, as
they were coming, Christ said, Behold, an Israelite in whom
there is no guile. And Nathanael said, How do you
know me? And he said, Before you ever found me, I found you
already. I saw you when you were sitting
under that fig tree, and Nathaniel said, You're the Son of God.
You see that? We preach because God has a sheep,
and we're looking for those sheep. The Lord knows where you are.
He's going to find you, and He's going to do it through His gospel.
The gospel will be preached to you, and then you're going to
hear it. You're going to see Him. And
when I say, come and see, one of these days you're going to
do it. You're going to see. You're going to see the sovereign Christ.
You're going to see the effectual Redeemer, God's Christ, God's
Lamb on the throne. And you're going to say, I see.
And then you're going to go tell everybody, I found Him. Let's bow in prayer.
