Turn again, if you will, to Luke
19. Our Lord Jesus here fulfills
the prophecy of Zechariah and of Isaiah riding into Jerusalem
upon the colt and the foal of an ass. And as he sat on the
ass riding triumphantly as king into Zion, his disciples, They
began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the
mighty works they had seen. They understood something remarkable
was going on. But John tells us distinctly
they really didn't understand until after the resurrection.
They understood enough to make them sing and rejoice and give
praise to Him, saying, blessed be the King that cometh. And I love that word, verse 38,
cometh. Not just He who came at this
time. The word is written deliberately
in the linear. That is, it is something that
is continually done. And He is still coming. That
cometh in the name of the Lord. He came then, bringing salvation,
and He comes now, bringing salvation. Peace in heaven and glory in
the highest. Now, we read this morning Zechariah's
prophecy. Hold your hands here and turn
to the book of Isaiah, chapter 62. This triumphal entry into
Jerusalem was prophesied by Zechariah in these words. Rejoice greatly,
O daughter of Zion. Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem.
Behold, thy king cometh unto thee. Sooner or later, he's going
to come to everyone whose name is written on the registry of
Jerusalem above in the Book of Life. And he comes just and having
salvation, lowly and condescending grace and riding upon an ass
and upon a coat, the foal of an ass. Now, look at how Isaiah
speaks of this very same thing. Verse 11 of Isaiah 62. Behold,
the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye
to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh. When Christ
comes, salvation comes. When Christ comes with salvation,
salvation comes to you. Behold, his reward is with him. His reward. The reward of his
own soul's travail, having obtained eternal redemption for us. And
the reward he gives to his own everlasting salvation. And his
work is before him. It is before his face. Now, turn
back to Luke chapter 19. When the Pharisees saw and heard
what was done. In verse 39, some of the Pharisees
from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy
disciples. And he answered and said unto
them, I tell you that if these should hold their peace, if these,
my disciples, did not praise me, if they should hold their
peace, the stone would immediately cry out. Now, clearly, this passage
speaks of both our Savior's great humility and condescension and
of His glorious triumphs and conquest. In fact, His humiliation
unto death, when He who knew no sin was made sin for us that
we might be made the righteousness of God in Him, His humiliation
unto death is his highest glory and the highest revelation of
the glory of God in him. And his triumphal entry into
Jerusalem was a display of his great conquest, conquest of grace
in the hearts of his people. All we who believe on him are
as the wild asses cope. having been found, fetched, and
conquered by the Son of God in his saving grace. Now, in these
words describing this great, tremendous event that took place
in our Lord's life and ministry toward the end of his earthly
life, we see his deity manifestly displayed throughout the passage.
As we saw this morning, his omniscience and his sovereignty Not only
did our Savior show these things, but he also shows his glorious
majesty and supremacy in other ways. At the very time, I try
to think of the context. When you read the scriptures,
it helps so much to try to think of the surroundings, the events
going on. At the very time our Lord is
riding into Jerusalem, the scribes and Pharisees and chief priests
The religious muckety-muck, the big shots, they were at that
very time plotting how they might murder him and get away with
it and call it serving God. And at this very time, he walks
into Jerusalem. And he rides into Jerusalem,
rather, and he rides in and is praised in the streets of Jerusalem
by the people around him and praised in exactly the words
that the prophet said long before he would be praised. So that
these scribes and Pharisees who are plotting to murder him are
confronted with the fulfillment of Scripture in their ears And
yet their hardness and unbelief is such that they refuse to hear
that which is before them. Though his disciples clearly
did not understand the things they saw and the things they
spoke of until after his resurrection, they here proclaim that the lowly
Nazarene, that poor man, in the opinion of most people, in the
opinion of all who mattered, that man who was utterly insignificant,
that meaningless carpenter, is the Messiah, the Son of God,
and they worship Him as such. That one who is just and having
salvation. Matthew tells us when all this
is over, everybody around there said, who is this man? Who is this man? And the disciples'
answer said, this is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth. This is
He who came to save His people from their sins. And then our
Lord gives this answer, to the Pharisees who tried to get him
to silence the praises of his people. One more thing. I found
this striking. I just looked at it a few minutes
ago, read Matthew's account again. These very scribes and Pharisees,
these Jewish leaders who were plotting to murder the Savior,
Matthew tells us their children joined in the praise and said,
Hosanna, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. Can
you imagine any greater display of His manifest deity than Him
compelling children who are totally ignorant of what's going on,
totally ignorant, to sing praises to Him? They heard Mom and Daddy
discussing in anger and hatred. They sang His praise. And when
the Pharisees heard all this, they said, have these folks just
shut up. We don't want to hear it. And
our Lord said, He answered and said unto them, verse 40, I tell
you, that is to say, you can be certain of this fact, that
if these, these disciples of mine, these, your sons and daughters,
these children of yours, if they should hold their peace, if they
didn't sing my praise and glorify God because of me, if they didn't
worship me, the stone These rocks we're standing on, these boulders
over here beside you that I have created, they would cry out immediately
and sing my praise to my glory. Now the obvious meaning of those
words is just this. The Lord Jesus Christ must and
shall be praised. He must and shall be worshipped. Now that's my subject this evening.
Christ must be worshiped. He must be. Blessed be his name. There is a day coming when all
creatures and all creation, everything that is and has been and shall
yet be in heaven, earth, and hell shall praise him. Everything. Revelation chapters 4 and 5 describe
that day. But I want you to know and be
assured that our Lord Jesus Christ must and shall be praised and
worshipped here and now in this world, in this generation, in
the days in which we live upon the earth. We preach the gospel
to all men. We send the message of God's
free and sovereign grace and salvation in Christ literally
around the world every week. You send me up and down the length
and breadth of this country, week after week, preaching the
gospel of God's free grace, telling needy souls who Christ is, what
he's done, how God saves sinners by him. We support missionaries
around the world. Some of you give sacrificially.
We give generously to the cause of Christ so that men and women
might hear the gospel of God's grace. But there's something
we have to face all the time. As the gospel is preached, some
believe and some believe not. And sometimes we get a little
discouraged because we see so many who do not believe. Well,
that's the way things always have been. And that's the way
they are now. And that's the way they will
be as long as time shall stand. Let me give you an example of
this. Turn back to Acts 28. The apostle Paul is in Rome now. And the Jews have said to him,
we will hear thee concerning this matter, this matter of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, the resurrection of the dead, salvation by him.
And they appointed a time and came together, and Paul began
to reason with them from the Scriptures concerning the kingdom
of God, persuading them concerning Jesus Christ. and persuading
them that this is the testimony of Moses and the prophets. He
takes the scriptures and opens to them and shows them this is
the message. This is he of whom God in his
word has spoken throughout the ages, telling them of redemption
and grace and the kingdom of God in his grace by Jesus Christ
the Lord. And then we read in verse 24,
And some believe the things which were spoken, and some believed
not." Now, why did Luke write that down? Why does the Holy
Spirit give us those words? Why does He tell us about it?
Is it just a matter of recording a fact, an event, just giving
us information? No. He intends for us to learn
something from the text. Without question, it is the intention
of the Holy Spirit to teach us these two things. Number one.
The salvation of God's elect does not in any way, to any degree,
depend or is determined by the ability of the preacher who's
declaring the gospel. Now, I don't mean to suggest
that a person can be saved apart from the preaching of the gospel.
The scriptures teach otherwise. I don't suggest that it doesn't
matter who you hear or what you hear. Those who feed upon the
poison of false religion will perish under the wrath of God.
But the Holy Spirit does mean for us to understand that saving
faith is in no way dependent upon, in no way determined by
the abilities, the gifts, the education, the talents, or even
the spirituality of the man who's preaching. Here is the Apostle
Paul. I suspect every preacher you'd
know pales beside him. Outstanding, gifted, brilliant
man. He's preaching the gospel of
God's pure, free grace. He's preaching from the scriptures.
He's preaching the gospel with a heart of love. His heart is
in his message. He's persuading men to believe
on the Son of God. And yet some believed and some
believe not. Why? But this is the second thing
I'm sure the Spirit of God will have us to understand. And this
is the only explanation that can be given for the faith of
those who believed and for the unbelief of those who believe
not. These who believe, believe because God chose them in eternity,
because Christ redeemed them at Calvary, And because God the
Holy Spirit called them, giving them life and faith in Christ
by his irresistible grace. Their salvation was entirely,
entirely God's work. Entirely the result of what God
has done. Those who believe not, believe
not because they would not believe. They would not believe. Men and
women go to hell on purpose. What a word. Nobody goes by accident
because they refuse the light God gives them, refuse to walk
in the light of divine revelation. Ye would not come to me that
you might have life. All who perish perish as a result
of what they do. All who believe, believe as a
result of what God does. Now, in the light of those things,
let's look back at this text. There are some who believe and
some who believe not, but blessed be God, there are some who must
and shall believe. There are some who must and shall
worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Some who must and shall praise
Him. The Lord Jesus answered and said
to them, I tell you that if these should hold their peace, the
stones would immediately cry out. As you know, I go a lot
of places and preach. Preach the gospel of God's grace
wherever I go. I think Brother Bob or somebody
said something the other day. I can't remember who it was.
Somebody said, well, he doesn't preach like that to other places.
I preach the same thing wherever I go. I preach here to you all
the time. And some believe. And then there are places I go
and nobody hears. Nobody. Nobody. I'm not a fisherman. I'm trying to learn something
about it because I've got a grandson who thinks I am. So I take him
fishing. And you know what I do when I don't find any fish in
the hole? I go somewhere else, because I know there's fish in
the hole, and some of them are going to be hungry. And so I
just keep casting the bait until one of them takes the bait. And
we preach the gospel, and preach the gospel. Sometimes folks don't
believe. Well, what do you do? Give up?
Quit? No. No. Just keep casting the
net. God will gather in His fish.
Keep preaching the Word. The Lord God will gather in His
elect. Christ must have praise somewhere. If not at one place and by one
group, then assuredly somewhere else and by another group. Christ
must have praise. Now let me tell you why. Two
reasons. Two reasons. Number one, it's His due. Number
two, it's God's purpose. Christ shall be worshipped because
it's His due and He shall have His due. Some shall worship the
Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and King because He deserves to be
worshiped as such. It's due to Him because of His
person. He is God the Son. He is the
Son of Man. He's the Possessor of all things,
the Creator of all things, and the Ruler of all things. Our
great Savior, this One whom men talk about and so few have any
idea who He is, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our great God, that
one born at Bethlehem 2,000 years ago, is the embodiment of God. And He is God. In Him dwells
all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He is the embodiment
of every perfection, both divine and human. And praise is His
due, His right, His rightful claim. It's due to Him because
He is the Word made flesh. The Word was made flesh and dwelt
among us. We beheld His glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
He is that one by whom God reveals Himself, the Word. He is that
one by whom God has known the Word, the eternal living Word,
by whom God speaks to men, by whom God communicates with men,
by whom God makes Himself known to men. Now, the Word came down
here and is made flesh. Made flesh. And in Him is all
the glory of God. He is full of grace and truth. And of His fullness have we received
grace on top of grace on top of grace. He shall be praised
and worshipped because He is the Messiah. Andrew said, we
have found Him of whom Moses and the prophets did speak. We
have found the Christ. This is it. You open this book
and read the Old Testament prophecies. concerning who the Messiah is,
who the Christ is. Just read the prophets. Just
read the books of the Old Testament, let alone the New. And then look
at the historic facts. I'm not even talking about facts
revealed in this book. I'm talking about just matters
of time and history. Read the historic facts. That prophet back yonder. He
can't possibly be talking about any other man. Can't possibly
be. This man born at Bethlehem, because
Micah said he would be. This man driven into Egypt because
the prophet said, out of Egypt have I called my son. And he
got to come out of there. This man, this man who comes
at the time when the Jewish nation ceases to have a lawgiver. Shiloh,
this is he. He's the Christ. He fully deserves
our praise. He's the King of Israel, the
Anointed of God, the Savior of the world. The Savior of chosen sinners
in every race, nation, kindred, and tongue in all the world,
and the Savior of the world itself. It is He who has redeemed God's
creation. from the ruin of the fall. It
is He who has come and delivered the ruin that Adam calls in the
world, the ruin that Satan brought into the world. He is the Savior
of God's creation. It is He who reveals God to us. I don't know how to say this
as clearly as it needs to be said. All that anybody knows
of God, or ever shall know of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Christ is. Christ, He's the Word. He's the
Word. God's Spirit. We worship Him
in spirit and in truth, but you can't communicate with the Spirit.
God's Spirit, pure Spirit, doesn't have body or parts like we do. God's Spirit. But God, who is
Spirit, takes on Himself humanity. And here in His Word and in His
works, in His person, in His being, Jesus Christ reveals the
Father, His will, His purpose, and His being. He is the one
who executes the Father's purpose. He is the one who is the object
of the Father's love. He is that one who is given all
preeminence by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All
preeminence given to Him because He well deserves it. He's the
one who has performed all that mighty work. By which the Father
is glorified and peace is made and mercy, grace and love are
brought to needy sinners. The work of redemption and salvation,
justice and truth, righteousness and mercy all performed by him
in a word. All worship and praise is his
due because this one, the Christ of God, the King. the Savior,
the Messiah, the Son of God. He is the Lamb of God who put
away our sins. Turn to Revelation chapter 5.
Very familiar passage, but let's look at it. John has seen the
throne, the bow about the throne, and the angels of God worshiping
him. And he sees beside the throne a book. the book of God's eternal
purpose, the book of God's everlasting decree. It's a book written on
the inside and outside, front and back, and sealed with seven
seals. And it begins to weep because
no man is found worthy to take the book, to open the book, to
unloose the seals of the book, and to fulfill and reveal everything
in the book. Now, look in verse six. And I
beheld and lo in the midst of the throne, in the midst of the
throne, right smack dab in the midst of the mercy seat. And
of the four beasts, that is these gospel preachers, and in the
midst of the elders, in the midst of all God's elect, stood a Lamb. I saw the throne and now, look
here, standing on the mercy seat, standing on the throne of grace
is a lamb, a lamb as it had been slain. Our Lord Jesus, by the
accomplishment of redemption, ascended up to glory and yonder
sits a man on the mercy seat, who is the mercy seat, a man
sitting on the throne. Isaiah saw him and cried, woe
is me, I'm a man of unclean lips. Until the Lord God sent an angel
and touched his lips and said, your iniquity is taken away.
He said, I see a lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns,
all the perfection of power, and seven eyes, all the perfection
of knowledge, which are the seven spirits of our God sent forth
into all the earth. And he came. Now look at this.
He didn't ask for the book. He didn't beg for the book. He
didn't offer to take the book. He came and reached over yonder
and took the book. How come? It's his due. It's only right. He came and
took the book. And when He had taken the book,
He took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat on the throne.
And when He had taken the book, the four beasts, all God's servants,
represented those living creatures. And the four and twenty elders,
all God's elect, fell down before the Lamb, having every one of
them hearts and golden vows, full of odors. These are the
prayers of the saints. Verse 9, And they sung a new
song, and this is what they said. Thou art worthy. Oh, now, I see
one worthy, worthy of all praise, worthy of all power, worthy of
all dominion, worthy to do what he will. Thou art worthy to take
the book and to open the seals thereof. Thou art worthy to execute
all that's written in the book. And here's the reason. For thou
wast slain. But you weren't slain for nothing.
and has redeemed us. Because you were slain, you have
redeemed us to God, fetched us back to God by blood, by the
blood, by thy blood, and redeemed us out of every kindred and tongue
and people and nation. And because you were slain, because
you've redeemed us, because you've fetched us back to God, you've
made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on
the earth. Verse 11, And I heard, or I beheld,
and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne,
and of the beast, and the elders, and the number of them was ten
thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, and
this is what they said with a loud voice. Worthy is the Lamb that
was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing. Worthy. And every creature which
is in heaven and on earth and under the earth and such as are
in the sea and all that are in them, heard I say, blessing and
honor and glory and power be unto Him. Now, I love this word,
that sitteth on the throne. Wait a minute now, John. I thought
you said you saw him standing. The sitth. How can that be? He's giving us a figure. He's
giving us something in representative words to teach us something.
He stands as a mighty ruler. He sits in the serenity of total
sovereignty, in absolute ease. He sitth on the throne. and unto
the Lamb forever and ever. And the four beasts said, so
be it. Amen. And the four twenty elders
said, they fell down and worshipped him that liveth forever and ever
because he is worthy to be worshipped. Worship is his due. And that
which is his due, he shall have. He shall be worshipped. It is
also the Father's purpose that He be worshipped, that He be
praised, praised in His creation. It pleased the Father that in
Him should all fullness dwell. The Father has given the Son
all preeminence. Look in Romans chapter 8. Romans
chapter 8. This is the purpose of God in
everything. This is the purpose of God in
everything. that Christ have praise. That's His purpose in everything.
If you could take all of history, in heaven, earth, and hell, take
all of history and push it into one funnel, moving in one direction,
when you get to the end, at the point of the funnel, this is
it. that He have all praise. That's God's purpose. Romans
8, 28. We know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, them
He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His
Son. Watch it now. That He, His Son,
might be the firstborn, that he, his son, might be the chief,
the preeminent one, the exalted one, the praised one among many
brethren. That's God's purpose. But there
are some, like the Pharisees back here in Luke 19, who despise
his praise. There are some who will not bow
to him. Some who will not trust Him as
Savior and King. Some who do everything they can
in their power to keep others from worshiping Him and trusting
Him. Some who oppose everything He
says, everything He is, and everything He does. All self-righteous,
self-justified, self-exalting, self-praising religion is opposed
to the praise of Jesus Christ, our God. All of it. All of it. The professors of it hate his
praise. They can't bear to hear others
praise and exult in him, much less give it themselves, but
preach it. Now, Brother Don, you know that
all the religious world around us, everybody is praising Jesus. Everybody is. Why? They sing
carols to Him. They praise Him. They talk about
His honor. Oh, now, they all talk about
praising Him. They all talk about praising
Him, but all self-righteous, self-justifying, self-indulging,
self-exalting, man-pleasing religion despises His praise and refuses
to worship Him. Let me show you. That which they
cannot stand is to hear Him exalted as being God our salvation. Not just one who makes salvation
possible, but salvation. Not just one who offers salvation,
but one who is salvation and brings salvation. They refuse,
they refuse and will not praise Him as that one who is all wisdom. He says, I have wisdom. was with
Him, brought up by Him, and my delights were with the sons of
men. He of God has made unto us wisdom, so that all true spiritual
knowledge, all knowledge of anything right, all right knowledge of
anything comes from Him. You can't have any kind of knowledge,
right knowledge, except what He gives. He is wisdom. They can't bear the declaration
that Jesus Christ is righteousness. He didn't just provide righteousness.
He did that. He didn't just make righteousness
possible. He did that. He didn't just make it possible
for us to be made righteous. He did that. He is our righteousness,
Rod. We don't have any other. Men won't give up their righteousness. They just won't do it. They just
won't do it. They won't do it. They'll cling
to their righteousness until they go to hell. I think I told
you Brother Bruce Crabtree has been going down, and he won't
mind me telling you this, I'm not telling you something out
of school. He's been going down trying to sit with his dad who's
dying. His dad used to be a free will Pentecostal preacher. And Bruce was trying to witness
to him a few months back. And his dad said to him, he said,
What will it take? And Bruce said to him, Dad, you've
got to give up all your righteousness, every claim of anything good
before God, and trust Christ. And he looked at him and he said,
son, I can't do that. I can't do that. You'll hold
on to your righteousness until you go to hell unless God stops
you. Men will not bear His praise
as the Lord our righteousness. Men will not bear the declaration
and the exalting praise of Jesus Christ as redemption. Redemption. He is redemption. In Him we have
redemption and He is redemption. He is the resurrection. He is
the life. These things are not just doctrines.
This is Christ! He is made of God unto us wisdom
and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Men cannot bear
the declaration that Jesus Christ is really the E-N-D end of the
law. The terminating point of the
law. Well, you can't say that. I didn't. God said that. He's the end of
the law. The end? Oh, I wonder what that
means. Hmm. Well, I've got some plans
today and I'm going to go down here to the end of the street.
The end. Where is that? That's where the
street stops. Is that clear enough? Christ is the E-N-D of the law. That's where the law stops. It
starts because he fulfilled it. It starts because he satisfied
it. It starts because he brought in everlasting righteousness.
It starts because he's removed its curse. He's the end of the
law for righteousness to everyone that believes it. Others may
not be as vocal as these Pharisees, but just simply silent. You sit
and hear the gospel, but you're engrossed with other things,
indifferent to Christ. Just don't bother yourself too
much about grace and salvation and righteousness and eternal
life. And you listen to me preach and you stick your fingers in
your ears. Isn't that how Bunyan described
himself? Just stick your fingers in your ears. You're not going
to hear that. You're not going to hear that. Unless God pulls
your fingers out of your ears and gives you ears to hear. Or
what's the effect of man's unbelief? What's the effect of all that?
How does this affect God's purpose? How does this affect Christ's
work? How does this affect His honor? Turn to Romans chapter
3, let's see. Romans chapter 3, verse 3. I've been told all my life as
a preacher, the last 30 Seven years. I've been told nobody
believes that. You can't preach that. Nobody
believes that. And nobody does. Nobody who's anybody, nobody
believes that. Nobody believes that stuff. That's
outdated, old Calvinism. Nobody believes that. And that's
what the objection was raised to with Paul. And you know how
he answered it? So what if some don't believe?
So what? Look at it. Verse 3, Romans 3.
For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the
faith of God, the faith revealed by God, the faith given by God,
the faithfulness of God? Shall their unbelief make the
faith of God useless, without effect? That's what the word means. You're
kidding. God forbid. Yea, let God be true,
but every man a liar, as it is written. that thou mightest be
justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art
judged. Man's unbelief does not in any
way thwart God's purpose. Not in any way. Man's unbelief
will not in any way rob Christ of his satisfaction. Man's unbelief
does not in any way hinder, thwart, or put to an end the work of
God the Holy Spirit. Man's unbelief will not in any
degree diminish the number of the saints in heaven, will not
in any way diminish the number of the saved. Man's unbelief
will cause no sorrow and no disappointment among the redeemed in heaven's
glory. It won't happen. It won't happen. Man's unbelief will not in any
way diminish the praise and glory of Jesus Christ. The fact is
God's purpose concerning his darling son and the praise that's
due him shall be carried out to the uttermost, both in time
and in eternity, both on this earth and in heaven. And even
now, The Lord God is unfolding His purpose. Christ is being
glorified right here, right now, right here. Some of you worship
and praise Him. There are some who praise Him
out of every nation and kindred and tribe and tongue. Every newborn
soul gathered in adds to the song of his praise, and soon
the whole earth shall praise him. All the heavens shall praise
him. Every angel shall praise him.
All the host of God's great creation shall ascribe blessing and praise
to the Lamb. All the universe shall render
praise to him. Everything that has breath and
being shall praise him. Sun, moon, and stars in the highest. will praise Him, and every wild
ass's coat broken and ridden by him shall praise Him. Now I ask you, are you praising
Him, worshiping Him? Will you now call on the name
of the Lord? Will you now worship and praise
Him? As for this wild-ash's coat,
conquered by Almighty Grace, I must praise Him. Let me wrap
this up. Turn to Psalm 34. Psalm 34. I will bless the Lord at all
times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall
make her boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear thereof
and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt His name together." Well, why, Brother Dodd? I sought
the Lord. And he heard me and delivered me from all my
fears. Verse 6, this poor man cried
and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him
and delivereth them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord
is good. Blessed is the man that trusteth
in Him. Blessed, blessed, blessed is
every man, woman, and child in the universe who worships Him. For whosoever shall call on the
name of the Lord shall be praised. I don't know whether you'll praise
Him or not. I don't know whether you'll worship Him or not. But
somebody will. And I'm determined to. I don't
have any choice, because He delivered me out of a horrible pit. And for His praise, I'll take
the cup of salvation and call on Him as long as I live. Amen. All right, Brother Lindsey. Let's sing praise to the Savior,
number 226, Lindsey. And then Bobby Ron, Bob Duff, and Dave,
y'all come sit at the Lord's table, if you will.
