Zechariah chapter 12. And if
you have a Pew Bible, it's on page 1029. If you don't have
a Pew Bible, you'll have to find it the best way you can. I sometimes,
I'll be honest with you, I have to turn over in front of my Bible.
If you go to Matthew and start turning back to your left, you'll
run into it real quick. You go to Malachi and then Zechariah. I want to begin reading here
in chapter 12 and verse 10 and read through chapter 13. I'm
going to begin this morning and I'm going to finish this afternoon
in this same text. Zechariah chapter 12 and verse
10. And I will pour upon the house
of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace
and of supplications, And they shall look upon me whom they
have pierced, and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth
for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him as one
that is in bitterness for his firstborn. And that day shall
there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of
Hadad-Rimon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall
mourn every family apart, the family of the house of David
apart, and their wives apart, the family of the house of Nathan
apart, and their wives apart, the family of the house of Levi
apart, and their wives apart, the family of Shimei apart, and
their wives apart, all the families that remain, every family apart,
and their wives apart. And in that day there shall be
a fountain open to the house of David and to the inhabitants
of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. And it shall come
to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut
off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no
more be remembered. And also I will cause the prophets
and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. And it shall
come to pass that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father
and mother that begade him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not
live, for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord. And
his father and his mother that begade him shall thrust him through
when he prophesied. And it shall come to pass in
that day that the prophets shall be ashamed, every one of his
vision, when he hath prophesied, neither shall they wear a rough
garment to deceive. But he shall say, I am no prophet,
I am a farmer, a husbandman. For man taught me to keep cattle
from my youth. And one shall say unto him, What
are these wounds in thy hands? Then he shall answer, Those with
which I was wounded in the house of my friends. a wake, O sword,
against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith
the Lord of hosts, smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall
be scattered, and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.
This shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord,
two parts therein shall be cut off and die, but the third shall
be left therein, and I will bring the third part through the fire,
and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them
as gold is tried. And they shall call on my name,
and I will hear them. I will say, It is my people,
and they shall say, The Lord is my God." I want us to think about this this
morning, the cross and its effect. That's what I see in this, the
cross. and its effect. Here in our text, you may have
noticed as I read this, Zechariah uses this little phrase, in that
day, several times, in that day, in that day there shall be a
fountain open. He is not talking about the 24-hour
day as you and I think about it, but he is talking about a
time, a time of salvation. From the coming of the Lord Jesus
Christ to this world and our humanity, and has died upon the
cross, even to this present day, 2,000 years later, we know this
as the Day of Salvation. The Scripture says, Behold, now
is the accepted time. Behold, now is the Day of Salvation. So we have been living in that
day now for 2,000 years, the Day of Salvation. Sometimes it
is called a year. The year of the Lord, the acceptable
year of the Lord. You remember when the Lord Jesus
preached? He was in the temple, He was
in the synagogue and they handed Him the book and He turned to
the book of Isaiah and He said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon
Me. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted. He sent Me
to preach deliverance to the captive and so on. Recovered
of sight to the blind. And the poor have the gospel
preached unto them. And then he made this statement,
and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Sometimes it's
called a time. Now is the time of the day. And here he called it the acceptable
year of the Lord. And you know what I like to think
of that. You know what I like to think that means. 2015 is the year that the Lord
has been accepting sinners. Isn't that wonderful? The last
2,000 years has been the time when the Lord has been accepting
sinners. This is the day of salvation. I have heard Thee in a time accepted,
and in the day of salvation have I secured Thee. I have delivered
Thee. Behold now is the accepted time. Today is the day of salvation. But you know that day, that time,
that year is running out, ain't it? It's already ran out for
a lot of people. And it's going to run out for
the world. It's a day, but it's a day that's passing away. Thank
God we still live in the day. That day of salvation when we
can preach forgiveness of sin. And he says here in verse 1,
he tells us what happened. In that day, here's where it
began. In that day there shall be a fountain open. And I like
how the Holy Spirit says that. He doesn't say in that day there
shall be a fountain. But it's a fountain opened. There's
a lot of fountains underneath this earth. We can't get to. But this is a fountain that's
opened. It's opened. I was going down
the Missouri River one time. I was out in Montana. Me and
Don Fortner and some of us. And mountains, huge mountains
on each side of us. And up on one of these mountains
was a mobile home. How they got it up there, I don't
know. But there are the mobile homes set up there. And I was
talking to the guide about it and he said they have no water.
There ain't no way to get water. He said, water's about 600 foot
down through that rock and you can't get water. I thought, how
does a man live out here without water? There's water but you
can't get to it. But thank God that's not this
way with this fountain. This is a fountain, he says,
that is open. And I'm preaching to the choir
this morning when I'm about to tell you what this fountain is
because you already know, don't you? This is the fountain of
the blood. of the dear Son of God. A fountain
that's been opened when the Lord Jesus was hanging upon the cross
of Calvary and He says it's finished and He gave up the ghost and
that Roman soldier took that spear and put it up into His
side and all of His blood and water emptied from His veins.
That's the fountain, Shannon, that we're talking about. A fountain
that's open. Jesus, the dear Son of God. Now think about that. Think about
whose fountain this is. Think about who He is that had
this blood in His body. This is the dear and blessed
Son of God who was with the Father from all eternity, who is Himself
very God of very God. He takes our humanity and up
on the cross, He opens His heart and they pump all the blood from
it. And He said, this is the fountain. What is this fountain open for?
And it was open deliberately. It was open on purpose. And why
was it open? For sin and for uncleanness. Now brothers and sisters, That's
wonderful, is it not? Ain't that mysterious? It's wonderful
that He could have opened His fountain to begin with. That's
a wonderful thing to think about. But isn't it mysterious for the
reason that He opened this fountain? For sin? The blood of Jesus Christ
is the most precious thing in the sight of heaven. Would you
agree with that? And yet sin is the most loathsome thing in
the sight of heaven. And He pours out the one that
He may cleanse us from the other, a fountain open for sin and for
uncleanness. Here is what He said in Leviticus
17, 11. The life of the flesh is in the
blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an
atonement for your souls. I have given it to you. graciously and lovingly. Nobody
deserves His blood. He has given it to us upon the
altar of Calvary to make an atonement for our souls. For it is the
blood that make up an atonement for the soul. If I get up here
this morning and I begin to advertise that downtown Indianapolis there
is a fountain flowing, And that fountain flows to wash
every disease known to man away. If you were blind by disease
or by injury and you washed in that fountain, you would have
perfect eyesight. If you were deaf and you washed
in that fountain, you would have perfect hearing. If you had liver
disease or you had kidney disease or you were eat up with some
kind of cancer, And you heard that there was a fountain that
you could wash in and you would be made perfectly whole. I tell
you what, you could hardly get to that fountain, could you?
Can you imagine the word would spread all over the world and
people would sell everything they had to get to that fountain. Now that's what they would do.
And yet here's a fountain open for the most dreaded disease
between the eternities. A disease that will destroy not
only a man's body, but his soul in hell to the boot. And yet
here is a fountain that's open for that sin to wash it away
and make heaven your home. And yet very few are interested
in it. Isn't that amazing? The fountain that's open for
sin and for uncleanness. How would this fountain be valued
by the world? How it would be talked about
of men and women and boys and girls? Oh, my soul, there is a fountain
open. To comprehend the merits and
power of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, you know we would
have to comprehend all the sin and uncleanness that has ever
been washed away by this fountain. How could we value this fountain
that is open for sin and uncleanness? How could we estimate its price? You would have to estimate what
it has done. And if you looked at one heart,
it is like a factory that just churns out sin. Works 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week. And all the heart does is churn
out sin. And the heart, just one heart,
is a cesspool of iniquity. And then you multiply that by
a number that no man can number. And can you imagine the sins?
Can you imagine the cesspool of iniquity and the stink and
the violence? And yet here's a fountain that's
washed all of that away. How could you estimate it? You
cannot, can you? It's estimation passes our apprehension
to comprehend. I told you just the other night
we were talking about that multitude that's in heaven last Sunday
and how they got there. They washed their robes and made
them white in the blood of the Lamb. And that was a number that
no man could number out of every kindred tongue and people. And
they got there through this fountain. Can you imagine the merit that's
in it? We can't do anything to wash
one sin away, can we? Not one evil thought that we've
ever committed can we wash away. But here's this fountain that's
taken away a world of iniquity, washed away a cesspool of sin. Oh, the merit in Jesus' blood
is absolutely astounding. There is a fountain filled with
blood drawn from Emmanuel's veins, and sinners plunge beneath that
flood and lose all their guilty stains. Not only the sin itself,
Not only the uncleanness, but the stain that is left is cleansed
away by this fountain. Come to this fountain so rich
and sweet and cast your poor soul at the Savior's feet. Plunge in today and be made complete. Glory to His name. We've been saying that for years,
haven't we? Ever since we found out about this fountain to wash
our sins. away. The Holy Spirit gives us a hint
here of the merit of this fountain. And He does it by making these
two statements here in verse 1. In that day there shall be
a fountain opened first of all to the house of David. Now when we find out who that
is, you're going to be able to estimate the merit of this blood. the value of this blood. Because
the house of David is some awful sinful people. And I want you
to take your Bible, and such a blessing when I saw this a
few years ago, and if you haven't seen this, I want you to see
this. Who is the house of David? Now you turn to 2 Samuel chapter
7, put your little marker in Zechariah, we'll be coming back
there. Turn to a couple of places, one in the Old Testament, one
in the New. 2 Samuel chapter 7. 2 Samuel chapter 7. This is where David wanted to
build the Lord a house. Remember that? And David talking
to Nathan the prophet about it, and Nathan said, Go ahead and
do it, David. He got outside and the Lord said, Nathan, you
did not search My will in this. Go back and tell him, no. I am
not going to let him build a house. He shed too much blood. That
is the reason He gave it. And then the Lord revealed something
to Nathan and David. And it just thrilled David's
soul. Look in II Samuel chapter 7 and
verse 10. Moreover, I will appoint a place
for My people Israel, and will plant them that they may dwell
in a place of their own, and move no more, neither shall the
children of wickedness afflict them any more as before time. And as since the time that I
commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused
thee to rest from all thine enemies, also the Lord telleth thee that
He will make thee an house." The Lord will build you an house.
Now look down in verse 16, I'm sorry, verse 25. This is David talking to the
Lord about this. And now, O Lord God, the word that thou hast
spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish
it for ever, and do as thou hast said. And let thy hand be magnified
forever, saying, The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel.
And let the house of thy servant David be established before thee. For thou, O Lord of hosts, God
of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build
thee that house. Therefore hath thy servant found
it in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee. And now, O
Lord God, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou
hast promised this goodness unto thy servant. Therefore now let
it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue
for ever before thee. For thou, O Lord God, hast spoken
it, and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed
for ever." What a promise that God made to David. He said, David,
I'm not going to let you build me a house of stone and cedar
wood for me to dwell in. But I tell you this, I'm going
to build you a house. And I wonder if David began to
think, what kind of a house is the Lord going to build me? I
don't think he thought for a minute it would be a house like this,
a mansion built out of stones and wood. I think he had a little
bit of understanding about the house the Lord was going to build
for him. But I just wondered if he had any sense of what material
the Lord was going to use. You want to know what material
he is building this house out of? Look over to Acts chapter
15. Look in Acts chapter 15. This
is where they had the first Sovereign Grace Conference in Jerusalem. And Paul was there, and Barnabas
was there, and Peter, and James, and John, and the apostles. And
they were discussing what they were going to do with the Gentiles.
What about these Gentiles? The Lord is saving these Gentiles.
Are we going to command them to be circumcised and keep the
ceremonial law of Moses? Are we going to write to them
and tell them, you are free from that? They said, we are going to tell
them they are free. You are free from that. You are not bound
by this law. And here is what they say. Look
in Acts chapter 15 and look in verse 14. Here is where James
stood up to speak. Simon hath declared how God at
the first did visit the Gentiles to take out of them a people
for His name. And to this agree the words of
the prophet as it is written. After this will I return and
will build again the tabernacle, the tent, the house of David
which is fallen down. And man, it was a mess at this
time, wasn't it? The house of David couldn't hardly
be found. It was all but gone. Kings came out of him, but now
the Gentiles ruled over Israel. But he says, I will build again
the ruin thereof, and I will set it up, that the residue of
men might seek after the Lord. And look at this, this is the
house of David. And all the Gentiles, upon whom
my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things,
known unto God are all his works. from the beginning of the world,
therefore my sentence is, James said, that we trouble not them
which from among the Gentiles are turned to God. Why? That's
David's house. That's David's house. You'll
find that in Amos chapter 9 verse 11 and 12 that God is building
David a house and what material is he using? The dead dog. Gentiles. He turned to the Gentiles. Why is that so amazing? Well,
you read a little bit of the history, the scriptural history,
when the Gospel first went into the Gentile world. It was nothing
but darkness, spiritual darkness. Idolatry was rampant. The worship
of devils was a common thing. They had no understanding of
God and the way of salvation. The Thessalonians and the Ephesians,
they had their temples to God. False gods. Corinthians, look
what an immoral bunch of people that was. Paul said the whole
city was full of idolaters and adulterers and fornicators and
all kinds of immoral people. I wonder if the Lord had told
David, David, here is what I am going to build your house. He
said, Lord, how in the world are you going to do that? I want
a holy house. The Lord said, I'm going to make
you a holy house. How are you going to do it? I'm going to
open this fountain and I'm going to open it to your house among
the Gentiles, those dead dog sinners, and I'm going to wash
them and I'm going to make them whiter than snow. I'm looking at David's house. This is David's house. It's a
spiritual house. And they've been washed in this
fountain. There shall be a fountain open
to the house of David. That's wonderful, ain't it? You know how you estimate the
value of this fountain? See all the sins that it's washed
away. See the cesspool and the vileness
that it's washed from the heart. and made it clean. That's how
we estimate that. I can't even estimate what He's
done for me. I can't estimate all my sins
that He's cleansed. Let alone start estimating the
innumerable people that He had. But that's the value of this
fountain. It's open to the house of David. I imagine David knew
something about this because he had some of these rascals
in his army. Remember that? He went down to
the cave of Doolin. And the Bible says everybody
that was in debt went down to David. Everybody that was discontent
went down to David. People that were in trouble,
head over heels in oppression, they went down to David. That's
the same way it is with the Lord Jesus. All these people are in
debt of sin. Notice next what he says. This
fountain is not only open for the house of David, but it's
open to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Boy, Larry pretty much described
them to us this morning in the Sunday School class, didn't he?
Who were these inhabitants of Jerusalem? I think they were
the worst sinners of all. Larry read to us this morning
about how they talked to him, called him a blasphemer because
he forgave a man his sin. Plotted His death? Betrayed Him? When He was hanging upon the
cross, they mocked Him? Said, if you be the Son of God,
come down? Men coming by and clearing their
throat and spitting up at Him? If God loves you, why are you
hanging there on that cross? You are an imposter. Why do you
people listen to Him? They hated Him, didn't they?
Even when He was dying, they hated Him. Boy, these were blood-red
sinners. These men were guilty of the
slaying of the Son of God. And that's who the fountain was
open to. The inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Lord, these men? Peter was preaching the Gospel
to them, just like the Lord said. The Lord said, I want you to
go unto all the world and preach the Gospel. But where did He
say begin at? Jerusalem. Why? Oh, that's the
worst sinners of all. There were men in Jerusalem that
had these blood-red sins, guilty of the blood of the Son of God.
And on the day of Pentecost, Peter confronted Him. Peter said,
You have taken, and by wicked hands You have crucified and
slain the Lord of glory. And they said, Oh my, what are
we going to do now? Man, if anybody ever earned damnation,
we're damned. We're going to hell under God's
wrath. What can we do? And Peter says,
He's opened a fountain for you. Repent, every one of you. Look
to Him. Believe in Him. There's power
in this fountain. The inhabitants of Jerusalem.
I tell you what, that so encourages me when I see my sin. When I
look back on that. to know that the Son of God opened
that fountain that can cleanse the deepest sin, all manner of
sin. Though your sins be as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow. That scarlet sin, those are bad,
aren't they? Though they be red like crimson,
blood red sin, they shall be as wool. This fountain opened
for sin and for uncleanness. If you had a disease that was
sure to kill you, and you heard of this fountain open for that
disease, wouldn't you fly to it? Well, sin will kill you. It will absolutely kill you.
Fly to this fountain. Come to this fountain and be
washed away. Be washed from your sin. What's our problem? What's the
world's problem? When we tell them of this fountain
that's open, why are they not interested in it? We find very
few that's even interested and wanting to hear about this fountain.
Why is that? Well, you know the problem with
the world. It don't know its need. That's the problem. The world don't know its sin.
Oh, sometimes they got this pain in their conscience. They feel
a little pain in their conscience. A little warning of the disease
that's there. But it's not enough to make them
cry out for the fountain, is it? Not enough to make them seek
the fountain. The whole problem is man don't
see his need for this fountain. So we can't just stop and say,
here's a fountain that's open. Something else has to be done
before anybody will come and wash in this fountain. I can
talk about this fountain. I can talk about this fountain. But if something don't take place
in the heart of a man, he'll never come and wash in this fountain.
If Jesus Christ had died upon the cross and shed His blood
and went back up to heaven and says, I leave it all up to you,
nobody would ever be washed in this fountain. The work of atonement
was made at Calvary. The application of that blood
takes place in our lifetime. And you know something? Apart
from the Holy Ghost coming and showing us our need of that blood,
we'll never come to that fountain. Come to this fountain that's
so rich and sweet. I'm sorry, I have no need of
it. Come to this fountain and wash your sins away. I really
don't have that vat of sins. I really don't need this fountain.
So something must take place. Look back over at our text again
in Zechariah chapter 13. Look in Zechariah chapter 13
and look in verse 10. I tell you, it's a blessing.
Oh, it's a spiritual blessing. It's a blessing of God. The greatest
blessing one can begin to imagine. To fill his sins. To fill his
sins to the point that he comes to this fountain. In Zechariah
chapter 12 and verse 10, look at this. And I will pour upon the house
of David And upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace
and of supplication." What is that? That's the gracious Holy
Spirit, ain't it? I'm going to pour Him upon their
hearts, their minds, their understanding. And then what is going to happen?
Then they shall look upon him whom they have pierced, and they
shall mourn for him as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be
in bitterness for him as one that is in bitterness for his
firstborn. Boy, somebody here is getting
serious, aren't they? They are starting to mourn and
look and seek this fountain. Why? Because the Holy Spirit
has come upon them." It seems like to me that's what the Lord
is saying here. I've opened this fountain, but I can't stop there.
Christ sent the Holy Spirit back, didn't He? I'll pray the Father,
and He'll send you another comforter. And what's the first thing He
said He would do? Convict. Reprove of sin. He's going to make you know your
sin. He's going to make you know your
need of this fountain. And then what's going to happen?
You're going to start mourning. You're going to start looking.
You're going to start seeking for that fountain. Brothers and
sisters, listen to this. Jesus Christ is too great and
too wonderful a person to have ever died in vain. There's been great people who
died for a good cause, but their dying never helped their cause
at all. They died in vain, but not so
with the Son of God. He opened this life-giving stream
for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and sooner or later He'll bring them to fill their need of that
fountain and be washed in it. Every last one of them. Every last one of them. I think this is one of the things
that deepens in the hearts of God's children as they grow in
grace and knowledge, the need of Jesus. They need Him. It begins with a need of forgiveness
of sins. That's where it begins. But it
doesn't end there, does it? If it ended there, none of you
would be here this morning. He'd just forgive your sins and
you'd go on your way shouting for joy and say, well, I'm ready
for heaven. That's the end of that. But it
doesn't end there, does it? Once He makes you feel your need
of this fountain and He's washed your guilt away in it, I tell
you, it begins there. And you find out as you go, you
need Him more and more and more. And you know what's causing you
to feel that need? The Holy Spirit. He's working
in your hearts. All of us have seen people make
a profession and they seem so happy at the time. We had such
hopes of them. Boy, the Lord's done a work in
their heart. But you never see them again.
And I conclude that they don't have the Holy Spirit because
a man that has the Holy Spirit Boy, there's times and times
and times. He comes back and He looks again.
And He says, Lord, I need to be washed again. And He says,
Lord, I need grace to grow in grace. And He says, Lord, give
me Your strength against sin and the evil workings of my heart.
Lord, make me like Yourself. Lord, let me be with You. He's
got all of these needs, hasn't He? You see that in your own life,
don't you? I was reading a song by Theodore
Modod, and this is what he says. Listen to see if you can't see
these steps in your own heart and life. Oh, he says, the bitter
shame and sorrow that a time could ever be. when I left the
Savior's pity, plead in vain, and proudly answer, all of Seth
and none for thee. Yet He found me. I beheld Him
bleeding on the accursed tree, heard Him pray, forgive Him,
Father, and my wishful heart said faintly, some of Seth and
some of He, some of thee. Day by day His tender mercy,
healing, helping, full and free, sweet and strong, oh so patient,
brought me lower while I whispered, less of self and more of Thee. Now listen to this. Here is where we are aiming.
Here is where the Holy Spirit is taking us. higher than the
highest heaven, deeper than the deepest sea. Lord, Thy love at
last has conquered. Grant me now my supplication,
none of self and all of Thee." I think that is what he is talking
about here. I am going to pour out upon the house of David and
the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And they are going to begin to
feel their need of me. From forgiveness of sins to glorification. They are going to look at me.
And sometimes they are going to groan in their heart, Oh,
make me like you. Make me like you. Bring me up
to heaven to be with you. Come Lord Jesus. Even so, come
Lord Jesus. Do you and I know anything about
these stages the Holy Spirit takes us through? Looking unto
Jesus. Desiring Him. desire in His grace
to be like Him, to be with Him. At the same time we see that
our sins have pierced Him, we plead those very wounds for the
blessings of God upon us. And the greatest blessing we'll
ever plead for, none of me, none of self. Oh, wouldn't that be
wonderful? Oh, could you come to the place?
Could I be brought to the place that I could honestly say and
feel and mean it and God bear witness to it? None of self. I'm finished with self. He's
my greatest problem. None of self. And all, all my
thoughts, my motives, my words, my deeds, where I go, where I
abstain from going, what I do, what I don't do, for thee. Oh Lord, bring us. Holy Spirit
of God, bring us to that place. He said here in verse 11, In
that day there shall be a great morning in Jerusalem as the morning
of Hey Dad, Ramon in the Valley of Megiddo. If you do a little
research on this over in 2 Chronicles 35, you'll realize what he was
talking about. They had a king by the name of
Josiah. He began to reign when he was
8 years old. The Lord saved him when he was 16, and boy, they
loved him. He went and tore all the idols
down. Started keeping the Passover
again. Jeremiah loved this man. He loved
the Lord. And he was fighting the Lord's
battles. And he got killed. And the whole city wept. Everybody
wept. But when they got home, they
didn't quit weeping. They went to their bedrooms. And the husband
went to one bedroom. And he wept. And the wife went
to another. And she wept. And they wept. And they wept.
And that's what he goes on to tell us there in verses 12 through
verse 14. Boy, this is a personal thing.
Everybody was weeping apart. Everybody was seeking the Lord
apart. There are times, brothers and sisters, when we help one
another. We love to get together, don't we? We love this, and we
sing one to another, and we encourage one another. It's so needful. But then there's time to get
alone, apart, and tell the Lord your need. Tell it to Him by
yourself. when a heart is broken up with
a bitter woeful cup, then is the time to go to Christ all
alone. In our blessed Lord Divine there
is peace and joy supplied when we take our sorrow all to Him
alone. And that's when we get in our
closet, the closets of our hearts and shut out the world and the
brothers and sisters and pray to the Father which sees in secret
And he that sees in secret will reward thee openly. And what a better way to go.
There is no better way to go. There ain't no other way to go
than through this fountain. Always through this fountain
draw near to God. And He's promised to draw near
to us. It brings us near and it keeps
us clean. There is a fountain filled with
blood. God willing, we'll look at verses
2 through the rest of that chapter this afternoon. Let us pray.
