Psalm 145 says this, I will extol
thee, my God, O King. I will bless thy name forever
and ever. Every day will I bless thee. I will bless thy name forever
and ever. For this reason, great is the
Lord and greatly to be praised. and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Thy
works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts. I will speak
of the glorious honor of Thy majesty and of Thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might
of thy terrible acts, and I will declare thy greatness." I want
to read you a story over in 2 Chronicles chapter 20. A few verses, but
it's worth our reading. These great nations had come
against Jehoshaphat, king of Judah and the children that he
ruled over. Let me read this account to you
in 2 Chronicles chapter 20, beginning in verse 1. It came to pass after
this also that the children of Moab, the children of Amnon,
with them others beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. Then there came some that told
Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee
beyond Jordan, beyond the sea on this side of Syria. And behold,
they be in Hazazon, Tamar, which is in Judah. And Jehoshaphat
feared and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast
throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves
together to ask help of the Lord. Even out of all the cities of
Judah they came to seek the Lord. And Jehoshaphat stood in the
congregation of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the Lord before
the new court and said, O Lord God of our fathers, art thou
not God in heaven? And rulest not thou over all
the kingdoms of the heathen? And in thine hand is there not
power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art not thou our God, who didst
drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel,
and gave it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? And they
dwelt therein, and built thee a sanctuary therein. For thy
name said, If when evil comes upon us as the sword, judgment,
or pestilence, or famine, and we stand before this house, and
in your presence, for thy name is in this house, and cry unto
thee in our affliction, then you will hear and help." And
now behold the children of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, which
thou wouldst not let Israel invade when they came out of the land
of Egypt, but they turned from them and destroyed them not.
Behold, I say, how they reward us to come and cast us out of
thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. O our God,
wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might against
this great company that comes against us. Neither know we what
to do, but our eyes are upon thee." And all Judah stood before
the Lord with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
Can you imagine what a scene? Then upon Jehaziel, the son of
Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jehiel, the son of
Mataneah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of
the Lord in the midst of the congregation. And he said, Hearken,
all ye of Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehoshaphat. Thus saith the Lord unto you,
Be not afraid, nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude. For the battle is not yours,
but God's. Tomorrow go ye down against them. Behold, they come up by the cleft
of Zis, and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before
the wilderness of Jeril. Ye shall not need to fight in
this battle. Set yourselves, and stand ye
still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah
and Jerusalem. Fear not, nor be dismayed. Tomorrow
go out against them, for the Lord is with you.' And Jehoshaphat
bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah
and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshiping
the Lord. And the Levites, the children
of the Kohiites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel, with a loud voice on high. And
they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness
of Tekoa. And as they went forth, Jehoshaphat
stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established.
Believe his prophets, so shall you prosper. And when he had
consulted with the people, He appointed singers unto the Lord
that should praise the beauty of holiness, and they went out
before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord for his mercy
endeareth forever. And when they began to sing and
to praise, the Lord sent ambushments against the children of Ammon
and Moab and Mount Seir, which came against Judah, and they
were smitten. For the children of Ammon and
Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, utterly to slay
and destroy them. And when they had made an end
of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
And when Judah came toward the Watchtower in the wilderness,
they looked unto the multitude, and behold, there were dead bodies
fallen to the earth, and none escaped. And when Jehoshaphat
and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found
among them in abundance both riches with dead bodies and precious
jewels, which they stripped off for themselves more than they
could carry away. And they were three days in gathering
of the spoils. It was so much." I want you to
consider with me in this passage just a few minutes maybe this
title. God's supremacy, our help. God's supremacy, our help. For
He said there in verse 4, they gathered themselves to ask help
of the Lord. And then He tells us in verse
6, the God that He asked help of. Thou art God in heaven. Thou art God in heaven. God's
supremacy, our help. And I love the way Jehoshaphat addresses the Lord as he goes
to Him here in prayer. Art thou not God in heaven? That's supreme. Are not you the
supreme God? The supremacy. Now, look that
word supreme up. And it means the highest, the
greatest in many respects that you and I think of. But I thought
of this, God in the Trinity of His persons, God the Father,
God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, are they not unsearchably
great? God in the Trinity of His person
is supreme. He's unsearchably great in the
perfection of His eternal attributes. That's why we can't figure Him
out. He's unsearchable. In His person, in His decrees,
in His might, in His terrible acts, in His wondrous works,
He's unsearchably great. God is the highest in power. The highest in power. He's so
high in power it can truly be said that there's no power but
of His. You remember what the Lord Jesus
said to Pilate when he stood before Him? You can have no power
against me. No power against me. No power. God is the highest
in authority. All authority is derived from
Him, and all authority is subject To Him. There's no authority
but that which be ordained of God. In the universe, God only
is the supreme ruler and judge. His commands are supreme. They're binding on every man,
woman, and boy and girl in this universe. God Himself is supreme
in His glorious person. And since He is supreme in His
glorious person, everything that we see in Him is supreme. Do you see love in the eternal
God? It's a supreme love, isn't it? You see grace in Him? It's a
supreme grace. You see power? You see justice? You see wrath? Everything we
see in God It is supreme. It has to be because God Himself
is supreme. All that God reveals of Himself
in His Word, in His providence by His Spirit, is supreme. It's the highest. It's the greatest. David said, I will declare thy
greatness. Well, how in the world can you
declare it if it's unsearchable? You know how you declare something
that's unsearchable. You declare it's unsearchable.
When you said that, you've declared it. Paul said to know the love
of Christ which passeth knowledge. How much knowledge can you and
I have of Christ's love? What can we comprehend of the
love of Christ? Just this, that it passeth knowledge. When we've grasped all that we
can of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, We've only begun to scratch
the surface of the depths of it and the breadth of it. He
is love, passion. He's supreme in His glorious
person. Therefore, all we see in Him. If you see something in God and
you say, well, that don't interest me. Well, you don't know this
God. You're not looking at Him, His
heart, His soul. He is supreme. This is the way
Jehoshaphat addressed Him. Lord art not Thou, God. Two things that irritate you
and two things that irritate me were men to address God with
titles and names that they don't even believe themselves. I told some of you about the
church sign that David pledged us all down in Texas. He passed this church and said,
God is sovereign. Let him have his way. You think somebody that wrote
that believes God is sovereign? Don't that irritate you? God is sovereign. I used to listen. I told you about the Methodist
preacher. I turned the radio on one night and he said, God
is on the throne of this universe. And I thought, man, I want to
hear this guy. Until he went on in saying, let him use you. You're the only hands that he
has. You're the only feet that he
has. If you'll just let him use you, he can accomplish so much. I thought he was on the throne
of the universe. Doesn't that irritate you? When
men attribute these titles to God, And they call Him these
names, and they don't even know what they're saying. Jehoshaphat wasn't that way.
When he said, Thou art God in heaven, he knew that. He knew
that. Something else that irritates
me, when men take titles to themselves that don't belong to them. That
bothers me. It used to be when they called
you to preach a funeral, they'd put Reverend Bruce Crabtree on
it. They quit doing that now. When
you go around and get all the other obituaries off and rub
Reverend out, they learn pretty quick, we better not put Reverend
on those things. You know Reverend is mentioned
one time in the Scripture. Thy name is Reverend. One time. One time. The Lord
of Glory is Reverend. Reverend. Another name that bothers
me is Father. Father. I was reading in my little Catholic
dictionary, if you want to know something about Catholicism,
don't listen to the Baptists. Go right straight to Catholicism
and find out what they believe. Go get your Catholic, a dictionary
of Catholicism. If you need to know, they'll
tell you. I looked up the word Father, and by the way, He loves
to be called Most Holy Father. He loves that title. I looked
up the word Pope to see exactly what it meant, and I quote, He
is called Pope, which in the Greek is Papis, a child's word
for father. He is called Pope because His
authority is supreme And because it is to be exercised in a paternal
way. What did the Lord Jesus say?
Call no man father. He wasn't talking to my children,
my biological children, and saying don't call Bruce your father.
That wasn't His meaning at all. Don't call anybody father when
they take it as a name of authority. Nobody is your father in the
faith. God is your father. One father. And if some priest comes to you
and tells you that he has the authority to forgive your sins,
you ask him who gave him that authority. And don't you address him as
father. One is your father. Don't embarrass you. Isn't it
irritating to you when somebody calls God these titles? and turn
around and contradict themselves. And when they take these titles
to themselves. A man may use these titles to
address God with and these names to speak of God and of God when
he's not in trouble. Boy, we can get awful bold, awful
care of us in addressing God and attribute things to Him when
we're healthy, can't we? When things are going good. But
let him face an enemy that he cannot conquer. Things will change then. Let
him get in a place here where Jehoshaphat and the children
of Israel were, facing an unbeatable, unconquerable army. Oh, we can
talk big when the sun's shining, dear Bunyan said. And when our
skies are blue and we're wearing our silver slippers, but let
us get into trouble. Let that happen. Then see how
much confidence and comfort we can have from a God who is sovereign,
would you let Him have His way. A God who rules upon the throne
of the universe. You're His hands and His feet
and His eyes. Yeah, when you're not in trouble,
you can attribute these things to God. You can call Him these
great names and not even know what you're talking about. But
Jehoshaphat here, notice how he defines God. And he has a reason for doing
it. He says here in verse 6, Art thou not God in heaven? This means that God is the highest
authority. Because what's higher than heaven?
Who is higher than heaven? It stands to reason that if God
is God of heaven, then He's God of this earth. It would make
no sense to be on the throne in heaven, and things on the
earth would be out of your control, wouldn't it? That's why it goes
on here in verse 6 to say this, Thou art God in heaven, and you
rule over the kingdoms of the heathen. That stands to reason.
If God is supreme in heaven, then He is supreme in this earth. Isaiah 66-1, listen to this,
Thus saith the Lord, Heaven is my throne. That's the seat of
authority, isn't it? Heaven is where I sit and rule. And listen to this, And the earth
is my footstool. It's my footstool. Listen to
Deuteronomy 4 and verse 39. Know this this day, and consider
it in thine heart. That's what we're doing today.
We've heard this man say, Art not thou God in heaven? And rulest not thou over the
inhabitants of this earth? We've heard that. Here he says,
hear this and consider it in your heart. Get it in your heart. Understand what Jehoshaphat said. What is it? That the Lord, He
is God in heaven above and He is God in the earth beneath and
there is none else. Hear how he said it. Understand
that. This is what the harlot Rahab
said. When the children of Israel had
come out of Egypt and the Lord had opened the Red Sea and defeated
the army of the Egyptians and led them into the wilderness
for 40 years, they had just crossed the Jordan and they sent their
spies over there to check out Jericho. They came there to the
harlot's house. And more she was trembling, her
family was trembling, and here's what she told those spies. As
soon as we heard these things, what the Lord had done for us,
our hearts did melt in us. Neither did there remain any
courage in any man because of you, for the Lord your God, He
is God in heaven above, and He is God in the earth beneath. That's what we mean when we say
the supremacy of God. He's the greatest. He's the highest. He's unsearchably great. He's the only authority. Take
your Bibles right quickly and turn to three or four scriptures
with me. If you'll turn there fast, you can stay with me. Look
at Psalm 135. These passages here that I'm
going to read to you had already been in print. And I am just
certain, Jehoshaphat being the man that he was, he had read
all of these. Look in Psalms 135. Look in verse
5. Psalms 135, verse 5. For I know that the Lord is great, and that our God is above all
gods. Now what does that mean when
you read that? Consider in your heart what does that mean. Well,
David tells us one thing it means in verse 6. Whatsoever the Lord
pleased, that did he in heaven, yes, and in the earth, in the
sea, and all deep places. He's supreme. And being supreme
in heaven, He's supreme in this earth. And when you're supreme,
you can pretty much do whatever you want to do. Can't you? I heard a fellow, a fellow told
me one time, and he was talking about the sovereignty of God.
And he said, he said, well, I know God could be sovereign if He
wanted to. If He wanted to. Wayne, I've been around a while,
and I've talked with all these people, and I tell you, I've
got some things you would not believe. Some things that you
just, you're taken aback. You just stand there, you don't
know how to answer people. How do you answer that? He wants to
be, and He is, and He exercises His supremeness. He does. Look in Psalms 47, just over
to your left. Psalms 47. Look at this whole psalm, Psalm
47. I want you to imagine Jehoshaphat
reading this passage and imagine him considering this in his heart. When he saw all of this great
multitude coming toward him to annihilate them or take them
captive and abuse them. Imagine as he studied these Psalms
about who God is. And this is the God he had his
confidence in. Psalms 147. Oh, clap your hands,
all you people. Shout unto God with a voice of
triumph. For the Lord Most High, for the
Lord Most High is terrible. He is a great king. over all the earth. He shall
subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. He shall choose our inheritance
for us, the excellency of Jacob, whom he loved. God is gone up
with a shout, the Lord with a shout of the trumpet, saying praises
to God, saying praises sang praises unto our King, sang praises,
for God is the King of the earth. Sang ye praises with understanding. God reigneth over the heathen. He sitteth upon the throne of
His holiness." Now, that's somebody that knew what he was talking
about. That was somebody attributing some titles or some names to
God and turning around and denying it. He's defining to us God. This is the God that Jehoshaphat
sought for help. One more place right quickly.
Look in 1 Chronicles 29. We often hear this read. You
will now rejoice in this. 1 Chronicles 29 and look in verse
10. This is King David on his knees
addressing the Lord before the congregation of Israel. Wherefore
David blessed the Lord before all the congregation, and David
said, Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel, our Father. forever
and ever. Thine, O Lord, is the greatness
and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty for
all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine. Thine
is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come of
Thee, and Thou reignest over all. And in Thy hand there is
power and might, and in Thy hand it is to make great and to give
strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank
Thee and praise Thy glorious name." Now, you don't have to preach
that. You just read it. You want to know who God is?
You want to know what the triune God is like? You want to know
where He's at and what He's doing? There it is. When you're supreme, you have
no rivals. God has no rivals. He has some
pretended rivals, but He has no rivals. Here's what He says. I am God, and there is none else. I am He, and there is no God
with me. And he uses this truth to dispel
the fears of his people. Listen at him again. Fear ye
not, do not be afraid, have not I told you? I have declared it. You are my witnesses. Witnesses
to what? He goes ahead and tells them.
There is no God beside me. Yea, there is no God. I know
not any. He knows everything, doesn't
He? There is no God. He is supreme. He is God. He is not threatened. He says there in verse 6 in our
text, In thy hand there is power and might, so that none can withstand
thee." You know, it's something when
you make war against your enemies, and it's something when the enemy
makes war against you. When God goes against a man or
a nation, he can't be resisted. That's
what Jehoshaphat said. In thy hand there is power and
might, so that none is able to withstand thee." I tell you what, we've got lost
loved ones we've been praying for for years, and they're rebels,
they're dead in sin. Isn't this comforting to you?
If you had to think that their salvation depended upon their
wills, Wouldn't that discourage you from praying? He would discourage
me from preaching. But if the Lord takes in hand
to save them, they cannot withstand him. They cannot resist him.
He walks up to them. He tells the devil to leave the
throne. Drags him out. Reveals himself
to them. Brings down their heart with
labor and travail and prayers and gives them faith and makes
them new. He subdues them. Thy people shall
be willing in the day of thy power. No man can withstand God. Ain't that wonderful? Sounds
like he's supreme, doesn't he? Let the great potter take a piece
of clay in his sovereign hand. Let him begin to mold it in the
image of his blessed son. You'll see if any piece of clay
can resist him. It cannot. And his enemies cannot
withstand him. We're told here in this chapter
there was a multitude of the devil's little brats. And there
they are, scattered in the valley. Had all their camels and loaded
with all their jewels. They'd come there to stay, hadn't
they? Mother, you need to pack up the furniture. Put it all
on the camels. We're going over there to stay.
We're going to take Jerusalem and we're going to move in. That's
what they thought. The Lord speaks to Josaphat,
and He says, you don't even need the five in this battle. Wouldn't
it amaze you? And I wonder what these little
brats thought when they heard the armies behind the singers. They were looking for men to
come out with swords and spears, and lo and behold, here the choir
came out saying, Thou hast triumphed gloriously. You've thrown the
horse and his rider in the sea. They said, we're going against
the choir today? Oh, you little brats. You little
brats. Why were they singing? They knew
the battle was won. You stand still. Oh, brothers
and sisters, who do we seek help from? If we know the eternal
God that we seek help from, then we'll be singing too. We'll be
singing in the midst of our battles. There's no need for you to fight.
The battle is the Lord's. James tells us something. Here's
what James tells us to do. Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil. And He will
flee from you. Now, how does that fit in our
message? Well, what did they do here in this text? They did
just exactly what the Lord told them to do. Fear not. You have put your trust in Me. And I am supreme. I'll fight
the battle for you. Just give yourselves to Me. And trust me to fight the battle. So James says, submit yourselves
to God as supreme, as a faithful Creator, as a sovereign Savior. You've got all these enemies.
Give yourself to the Lord. Submit yourself to God. And the
devil will flee from you. You know, sometimes I talk to
the devil. He may condemn me for doing that, but I tell you
what, I felt that rascal on my brain, on my mind. Sometimes
I woke up in the middle of the night worried, sick, and so depressed,
and you can just feel him coming into your mind and oppressing
your mind. And I talked to him. I said,
I know who you are. I know what you're doing, and
I can't stop you. You can suppress me and oppress
me, and I can't stop you. But I tell you this, if my Lord
comes to my aid, you fellas are in trouble. That's what I tell
them. I can almost imagine their eyes
getting big and looking around. James says they flee. Why? They know who's supreme. They know who's supreme. In thy hand, Lord, there is power
and might, so that none can withstand thee. There is no wisdom, no
understanding, or counsel against the Lord. There is none that
can deliver out of my hands. I will work, and who can hinder
it?" Nobody. He's supreme. He's God in heaven. And He's God in this earth. Here
in our text, look back in our text, 2 Chronicles chapter 20
and verse 7, Jehoshaphat reminds the Lord of that. Brothers and
sisters, let's learn how to pray. Let's not rush into the Lord's
presence demanding of Him or just with all our troubles. Oh God, I've destroyed all the
pieces. I can't help it. You've got to show up right now.
This and that. Let's still ourselves. Let's
learn how to pray. And the way we learn how to pray
is just reminding God who He is. Don't it bless your heart
when you set one of your little babies or your little grandchildren
on your knee, and they're sitting there bragging what a good papa
you are. And they tell you what great things you've done for
them. Don't that just thrill your soul? Well, our Father's
just like that. He loves to hear from us that
He's great and tell Him and remind Him what wonderful things He's
done. That's what Joseph had done. He'd only remind God who He was.
You're God in heaven. You're God in this earth. But
now He's going to give Him an example in verse 7. Art not thou our God who did
drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people? and gave it to the seed of Abraham
thy friend for ever." Lord, these great nations, these
seven nations, you drove them out. You made them skedaddle
and you give us the land. What kind of God, brothers and
sisters, do we profess? What kind of God do we need? Doesn't it just thrill your soul
to ascribe these wonderful titles to God and exalt His name, that
He's great, that He's sovereign, that He's high, He's glorious? And you just go on and on and
on and bragging on Him, and then you say this, Isn't it wonderful? Oh, it's
wonderful that He's such a glorious God. And then you turn around
and say, He's mine. He's my God. Art not thou our
God. How does one come to believe
in such a supreme God? How did this man here come to
know and believe in such a God as He did. Well, He has to be
revealed to you. You have to know Him through
His Word. It comes through heart preparation
and heart abasement. Jehoshaphat learned who God was
by revelation. And he learned that he was the
only God that could do them any good. I want you to look in verse
2 and verse 3 again. In verse 2, he tells about the
great multitude that was coming against him. Great multitude. They come and
told Jehoshaphat that. And then in verse 3, Jehoshaphat
feared. and set himself to seek the Lord. He feared. He feared. You know there's people that
go through this world, and they never learn to fear.
They wear shirts to that effect now, don't they? You see the
bumper stickers? No fear. They don't fear the wicked heart.
They don't fear sin. They don't fear the judgment
of God. They don't fear eternity. They don't fear death. They don't
fear anything. They never fear. They're just
not afraid. And you know something about
those people? They'll never come to know that God is supreme.
If you're going to learn that, you're going to learn that because
you're afraid of yourself. You're afraid of your enemy.
You're afraid of death. You're afraid of God's providence.
You're afraid of what He can do to you. This life is no life
to go haphazardly through without concern and anxiety over the
whole situation. Fear. He feared. He was afraid. A man who is not afraid will never come to know the God
of the Bible. He will make his own little gods
want him. Yeah, he's got a little God of
his imagination, one that'll get him through, you know. Verse 12, look at this. Here's
something else. Oh, our God, will thou not judge
them? For we have no might against
this great company that comes against us. Neither know we what
to do, but our eyes are toward you. Not only do they feel afraid
and fearful of life and what they face and death and eternity,
but boy, they feel utterly weak and helpless to defend themselves. What can we do? There's nothing
that we can do. This multitude is too great for
us. There's nothing that we can do. Can you put one sin away? I mean,
just one? One thought of foolishness? Can you defeat one little devil?
Can you drive him out of your mind? Can you endure just one
temptation? Can you justify yourself before
God? Can you add one stitch of righteousness
to clothe the shame of your nakedness? Can you do one thing to please
God? Can you stave off the fear of
death? Can you satisfy law and justice? I tell you, those are
some heavy things, aren't they? When you think of those things,
don't you say with Jehoshaphat, we have no mind? against this
great company? I tell you, the knowledge of
God's supremacy and faith in such a God is not to the strong, is not to the triumphant and
the victorious. But this knowledge, this saving
knowledge of the supremacy of God, And faith in Him is to the
weak, and the fainting, and the fallen, and the dependent, and
the humble. That's who it's to. Whose hearts
have been prepared to clearly see that in and of themselves
they are utterly ignorant and totally blind as to how to deliver
themselves. if God doesn't do it. Neither know we what to do, but
our eyes are towards you. We do not know what to do. It's not only that we cannot,
but we don't know how. We don't know what to do. Oh,
brothers and sisters, if Jesus doesn't save us by His merit
and His will, what can we do? If He doesn't present you to
Himself by His own merit, do you know any way that you can
do it? If He doesn't save you, can you
scheme up another scheme to save yourself? Oh, we don't know what to do,
do we? Lord, if You don't save me from my sins, if You aren't merciful to me
and carry me through this world and take me up to heaven, then
I don't know how I'm going to be saved. I'm going to perish
in my sins and go to be with the devil. I don't know what
to do. My eyes are toward You. I tell you, if God has brought
you there, if He's awakened your dead heart and given life to
your darkened understanding and scared you to death of the danger
that you're in, living in this world, and you're facing death
and you're facing judgment and eternity in your sin, And there's
such a multitude of strong enemies that you face that you cannot
defeat them. Not even one of them. And you
don't know how to defeat them. And He's brought you to look
to Him alone. You can have confidence in this.
He'll fight your battle. And you'll say, This is my God. This is my God. And you'll know what you're talking
about when you say it. And you'll find other people
that have experienced the same thing, that have been awakened
just like you have. And you'll get together with
them and you'll sit before the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. And with one united voice, you'll
say together, this is our God. This is our God. He's Abraham's
friend and He's my friend. Oh, brothers and sisters, I love
friends. I value friends. As I get older,
I value your friendship. But there's no friend like this.
Oh, I tell somebody all the time, I tell people, oh, I've got friends.
I can't believe so-and-so is my friend. I've got some quality
friends. But, oh, to think the supreme,
eternal God is my friend is more than my poor heart can drink
in. Thou art our God. Take that home. Thank you very
much. Let's pray.
