Okay, we're turning now once
again back to psalm 19 and We see that it is a psalm of David
verse 1 says the heavens the heavens declare the glory of
God the heavens declare the glory of God and this armament or the
sky showeth his handiwork." The vastness of the heavens is his
handiwork. He created all the moon, the
stars, the wind, everything he created. It's his handiwork. It's his handwork. He spoke all
things to existence by the word of his power. Now the title of
the message is taken from verse one. WHERE IT SAYS THE HEAVENS
THEY DO DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD. THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST IS ALL ABOUT HIS GLORY. AND THAT'S WHAT THE CREATION
STORY IS ALL ABOUT. IT'S SHOWING US THAT GOD MADE
ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, AND THAT HE UPHOLDS ALL
THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, ALL TO THE PRAISE OF THE GLORY
OF HIS GRACE. THE GOSPEL IS CALLED THE BLESSED
GOSPEL OF THE GLORY OF GOD. EVERYTHING THAT GOD DOES IS ALL
ABOUT HIS GLORY. HE'S JEALOUS OF HIS OWN GLORY. THE GRAND DESIGN IN ALL THAT
GOD DOES AND THE GRAND DESIGN OF THE REDEMPTION THROUGH THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE GLORY OF OUR BLESSED GOD AND SAVIOR
JESUS CHRIST. NOW WE HAVE IN THIS PSALM, We have in this psalm the glorious
works of creation which declare His glory and the glorious works
of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the first part of
Psalm 19, we see the wonders of God's power displayed in creation. And the second part talks about
the marvelous power of His word. The word of the Lord verse 7
is perfect converting the soul of his own will beget he us.
WITH THE WORD OF TRUTH. SOMEONE CALLED THIS PSALM, THERE'S
TWO EXCELLENT BOOKS REVEALED IN THIS PSALM 19 OF OUR GREAT
GOD. THE BOOK OF CREATION DECLARES
GOD IS GOD AND THE BOOK OF BOOKS, THE BIBLE, THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
ALSO DECLARE THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALL AND IN ALL IN SALVATION. BOTH CREATION OF THE ALL OF HEAVEN
AND EARTH, AND THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE, THE BIBLE, THE HOLY SCRIPTURE,
BOTH HAVE THE SAME AUTHOR, THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD, BOTH HAVE
THE SAME SUBJECT, THE GLORY OF GOD, THEY TEACH ONE OBJECT, AND
THE GRAND DESIGN OF EVERYTHING IN HIS WORD AND IN CREATION IS
THE FURTHERNESS OF THE GOSPEL AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST. THE HEAVENS, LOOK AT VERSE 1,
THE HEAVENS, THE HEAVENS OF HEAVENS DECLARE HIS GLORY. NOW, HAVE
YOU EVER, I KNOW YOU HAVE, LOOKED UP INTO THE HEAVENS ON A CLEAR,
COOL NIGHT in an area maybe that's dark when there's not much light
pollution, and you see the vastness of the stars, the vastness of
the heavens, and it's just breathtaking, isn't it? The very heavens of
the heavens declares that God is our God. God is our God. All creation declares THAT GOD
IS GOD. THE HEAVENLY BODIES, THE SUN,
THE MOON, THE STARS, EVEN THE CLOUDS. YOU KNOW THE CLOUDS ARE
CALLED THE DUST OF HIS FEET. THE WIND, HE BRINGS HIS WIND
OUT OF HIS OWN TREASURY. THEY PREACH ONE SINGLE MESSAGE. THE RAIN THAT COMES FROM HEAVEN,
THE THUNDER, THE LIGHTNING, HE SENDS THEM. ALL THE WEATHER HE
CREATES, SUSTAINS AND BRINGS. ALL THE DIFFERENT SEASONS WE
HAVE, WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER, FALL. ALL THE PLANETS, THEY REVOLVE
IN A CERTAIN ORDER. THIS WHOLE CREATION HAS A DECREED
ORDER THAT IS SUSTAINED, NOT BY MOTHER NATURE, BUT IS SUSTAINED
BY THE DECREE AND FORORDINATION OF GOD. BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST. THERE IS A CERTAIN DEFINITE ORDER,
ISN'T THERE? IT NEVER VARIES. IT NEVER CHANGES. THEY DECLARE THAT GOD IS GOD.
OUR LORD SAID, I AM GOD, BESIDE ME THERE IS NO OTHER. THERE IS
NONE LIKE ME, HOLY, SOVEREIGN, ALMIGHTY, AND ETERNAL. WHO CAN
SPEAK AND CREATE all things, none but God. He spake, and it
was done. He said, and it was so." I love
that. He said, and it was so. He said, I've spoken it, I've
purposed, I will do it. God is God, beside Him there
is no other God. Now hold your place there on
Psalm 19. Let me just read this to you, then we'll look at some
scripture in the book of Psalms. I love how God describes Himself. In Exodus 15, He says, Who is
like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious
in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretched
out thy right hand, and the earth swallowed the enemies of Israel. Who is like unto thee? There's
none like him. There's none like him in heaven
and in earth. Let's turn to a couple of Psalms.
Let's find, first of all, Psalm 89. Psalm 89, turn over there,
Psalm 89, verse six. Let's go back to verse 5, Psalm
89 verse 5. The heavens, verse 5, shall praise
thy wonders, O Lord, thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the
saints. For who in heaven can be compared
unto the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty
can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in
the assembly of the saints, to be had in reverence of all them
that are about him. O Lord God of hosts, Who is strong,
Lord, like unto thee, or to thy faithfulness round about? God
rules all things, created all things, and he does all things
for his purpose and his glory, right? Turn to Psalm 135. We've
seen this, one of my favorite scriptures, Psalm 135, verse
five. Psalm 135, verse five. For I know that the Lord is great, How great is the Lord? You can't
describe His greatness. And that our Lord is above all
gods, Psalm 135, verse six. Whatsoever the Lord pleased,
that did He in heaven, earth, in the seas, and all deep places. He caused the vapors to ascend
from the ends of the earth. He maketh lightning for the rain.
He brings the wind out of His treasury. GOD CONTROLS ALL THINGS
BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER. IT SAYS THERE, THE HEAVENS DECLARE
HIS GLORY, AND THE HERMAMENT SHOWETH HIS HANDY WORK. ALL CREATION
IS THE HANDY WORK OF GOD. HE SPOKE ALL THINGS INTO EXISTENCE
BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER. TURN OVER HERE TO JOHN, CHAPTER
1, TELLS US ABOUT IT, ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, OUR CREATOR,
and God created all things by Christ. John, the Gospel of John,
chapter 1, verse 1, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning
with God. All things were made by Him, that is, the Word, and
without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was
life, and the life was the light of man. The light shined in darkness
and the darkness comprehended it not. Another scripture I like
to refer to on the Lord Jesus Christ creating all things is
the book of Colossians. Turn over there. Colossians chapter
one. It says, verse 14, we have redemption
through his blood. FORGIVENESS OF SIN, VERSE 14,
COLOSSIANS 1, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, THE FIRSTBORN
OF EVERY CREATURE, FOR BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED THAT
ARE IN HEAVEN, THAT ARE IN EARTH, VISIBLE, INVISIBLE, WHETHER THEY
BE THRONES OR DOMINIONS, PRINCIPALITIES, OR POWERS, ALL THINGS WERE CREATED
BY HIM AND FOR HIM, AND HE'S BEFORE ALL THINGS, AND BY HIM
ALL THINGS CONSIST. THAT WORD CONSIST MEANS HELD
TOGETHER. HELD TOGETHER BY HIS POWER AND
HIS WILL. GOD TREATED ALL THINGS BY JESUS
CHRIST. AS HIS CREATION, THEY ARE HIS
SERVANTS TO ACCOMPLISH HIS ETERNAL PURPOSE, TO DECLARE HIS GLORY,
POWER, AND PURPOSE. THE WIND, THE SUN, THE MOON,
THE STARS, ALL CREATION, WHO DO THEY SERVE? THEY SERVE GOD. THEY SERVE HIS PURPOSE. HEAVEN
SHALL DECLARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, FOR GOD IS THE JUDGE
OF ALL THE EARTH. NOW LOOK AT VERSE 2, DAY UNTO
DAY, ALL CREATION, THEY SEND OUT A MESSAGE, THE RISING OF
A SUN, THE SETTING OF A SUN, THEY UTTER SPEECH, they declare
a message. And the night unto night, day
after day and night after night, they show knowledge and speech. Here's the preaching of creation
by God who created all things, declares in the creation and
all the elements of creation, they declare one message. God
is the absolute sovereign over all. Day after day, who controls
the day? When the sun comes up, who controls
it? When the sun goes down, who controls
it? God controls all these things.
Day after day, night after night, one continuous and faithful sermon
declaring that God is God. Deuteronomy 7 says, Know therefore
that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which
keepeth covenant, he keeps covenant, and he keeps mercy. He's a covenant God. The day
speaks of Christ our light. Remember we read in 2 Corinthians
4 in our study, God who commanded the light to shine out of the
darkness has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge
of the glory of God that shines in the face of Christ. The day
here that sends out the message is Christ is our light. That
sun that sets high in the sky, boy, it's just brilliant. Even on a cold day like today,
that sun is just brilliant, isn't it? You can't look at that sun,
even though it's low in the horizon. But that is preaching and speaking
one message. The Lord Jesus Christ is the
light of life. John 12 says this. Our Lord said,
I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world.
He that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have
the light of life. And the night here, day unto
day, day after day, uttereth a message, God is God. And night
unto night, even the night has a message. Even the night sends
forth a message. What does the night speak of?
What do you do at night? You rest, don't you? You sleep,
don't you? The night speaks of Christ our
rest, Christ our Sabbath. You remember in Hebrew chapter
4 where we're encouraged to labor, Christ is our Sabbath rest, labor
to enter into that rest. LAY DOWN AND REST IN CHRIST. AND THEN OUR LORD SAID THIS IN
MATTHEW 11, HE SAID, COME UNTO ME, ALL YOU THAT LABOR AND ARE
HEAVY LADEN, I'LL GIVE YOU REST. CHRIST IS OUR REST. IN HIM WE
ARE AT PEACE WITH GOD IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. LOOK AT VERSE
3, THERE IS NO SPEECH NOR LANGUAGE WHERE THE VOICE OF DAY AND NIGHT
IS NOT HEARD. Now you can't go anywhere in
this thing we call Earth or the world upon which we live, the
North Pole, the South Pole, the Western Hemisphere, the Southern
Hemisphere, the Northern Hemisphere, wherever you go on this planet
we call Earth. There is sun and there is night. THERE IS NO SPEECH NOR LANGUAGE
WHERE THEIR VOICE IS NOT HEARD. NOW THINK ABOUT THAT. CREATION SPEAKS IN A UNIVERSAL
LANGUAGE THAT ALL MEN UNDERSTAND, SO THAT EVEN THE LOWEST AND THE
MOST REMOTE TRIBES IN WHATEVER COUNTRY YOU MIGHT FIND, THE DARKEST
RECESSES OF AFRICA OR INDIA, THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE BEFORE
GOD. because God declares God is God
just by putting the sun in the sky. Someone said this, many are the
languages of men on earth, but there is no speech or language
on earth where the voice of God's heaven IS NOT HEARD, FOR THE
TEACHING OF CREATION IS NOT DIRECTED TO THE EAR AND TO THE EYE ONLY,
BUT ALSO TO THE HEART OF MAN. GOD HATH SHOWED IT UNTO THEM. YOU REMEMBER FROM OUR STUDY IN
ROMANS CHAPTER ONE WHAT IT TALKS ABOUT BECAUSE THAT WHICH MAY
BE THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD THE DAY, THE NIGHT, THE STARS,
THE SUN, THE MOON, THE RAIN, THE LIGHTNING, THE THUNDER. THAT
THUNDER IS HIS VOICE SPEAKING. THE RAINBOW IN THE SKY AFTER
THE RAIN. GOD PUT A RAINBOW TO REMIND US
OF THE COVENANT MERCIES. YOU SEE ALL CREATION, ALL MEN
EVERYWHERE, ALL OVER THIS WORLD, THEY SEE GOD SPEAK IN THAT CREATING
POWER OF ALL THINGS. The star is heaven. You know,
the multitude of stars, billions and billions of stars, God created
them all by the word of his power and the scripture said he knows
them all by name. He personally acquainted with
every one of them. The North Star, you know, they
can, old seamen, they can navigate They can navigate the seas, and
they can fly in airplanes, and they navigate by the fixture
of those stars. Those stars are fixed. THEY NEVER MOVE. WHO HOLDS THEM THERE? GOD CREATED
THEM AND HE SUSTAINS THEM BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER. THEIR
LINE, LOOK AT VERSE FOUR. THEIR LINE OR THEIR RULE IS GONE
OUT THROUGH ALL THE EARTH. THEIR WORDS UNTO THE END OF THE
WORLD, WHEREVER THE END OF THE WORLD IS. IN THEM HATH HE SET
A TABERNACLE." HE SET A TABERNACLE, HABITATION FOR HIS SON, S-U-N. THE LINE OR DIRECTION OF THE
SPEECH OF ALL CREATION HAS GONE OUT OVER ALL THE EARTH. THE CREATION IN A SENSE IS PREACHING
GOD'S MESSAGE THAT GOD IS GOD. GOD IS GOD, FAITHFUL, HOLY, SOVEREIGN,
ALMIGHTY. NO LIVING MAN CAN HIDE FROM THE
MESSAGE OF GOD THAT HE SENDS OUT IN CREATION. THAT'S WHY HE
SAYS ALL MEN ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE. GOD HAS SET A TABERNACLE, SEE
THE LAST PART OF VERSE 4, IN THEM HATH HE SET A TABERNACLE,
A TABERNACLE, A DWELLING PLACE FOR THE SON. IN PSALM 8411 IT
SAYS THIS, THE LORD GOD IS A SON and shield. Even so, in the gospel
of the Lord Jesus Christ, everything, the sun is the center of our
solar system, right? Everything revolves around the
sun, S-U-N. Even so, in the gospel of the
Lord Jesus Christ, everything revolves around Him. Christ is
all and in all. ILLUSTRATED IN THESE NEXT VERSES.
AND THESE NEXT VERSES HERE, VERSES 5 AND 6, THEY GIVE US A FIT DESCRIPTION
OF THE SON OF GOD, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. LET'S READ VERSE 5 AND
6, THEN WE'LL COME BACK AND LOOK AT THESE FIVE OR SIX THINGS. IN THEM HE HATH SET A TABERNACLE
FOR THE SON, WHICH IS AS A BRIDEGROOM. THINK ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
HE'S CALLED BRIDEGROOM, ISN'T HE? COMING OUT OF HIS CHAMBER. WHY IS HE COMING OUT OF HIS CHAMBER?
TO MEET THE BRIDE. WHO IS THE BRIDE? HIS CHURCH. AND HE REJOICES AS A STRONG MAN
TO RUN A RACE, THE RACE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN HIM. AND HE'S GOING
TO FINISH THAT RACE. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? HE'S GOING
TO WIN THAT RACE. VERSE 6, HIS GOING FORTH IS FROM
THE END OF HEAVEN, HIS CIRCUIT, AND TO THE END OF IT THERE IS
NOTHING HID FROM THE HEAT THEREOF. NOW LET'S LOOK AT THOSE THINGS
AND I'LL LET YOU GO HOME. THE DESCRIPTION WE HAVE IN VERSE
5 AND 6 IS THAT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN THE TYPE AND PICTURE
OF THE S-U-N. AND IT'S A PICTURE OF CHRIST,
OUR S-O-N. IN MALACHI, CHAPTER 4, VERSE
2, HE'S CALLED THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WITH
HEALING, S-U-N, THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, WITH HEALING IN HIS WINGS. BUT
UNTO YOU THAT FEAR MY NAME SHALL THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ARRIVE
WITH HEALING IN OUR WINGS. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS CALLED
THE LORD, OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. AS A BRIDEGROOM COMING FORTH
TO GATHER HIS ELECT HIS BRIDE. AS A BRIDEGROOM COMING FORTH. NOW TURN BACK TO THE BOOK OF
JOHN AND THIS TIME JOHN CHAPTER 3. JOHN CHAPTER 3. AS A BRIDEGROOM COMING. BEHOLD
HE COMETH THE FULLNESS OF TIME GOD SENT FORTH HIS SON MADE OF
A WOMAN MADE UNDER THE LAW. WHY DID HE SEND HIS SON? TO REDEEM
THE BRIDE. IN JOHN CHAPTER 3 JOHN ANSWERED
VERSE 27 AND SAID A MAN CAN RECEIVE NOTHING EXCEPT IT BE GIVEN HIM
FROM ABOVE. YOU YOURSELVES BEAR WITNESS BEAR
ME WITNESS THAT I SAID I'M NOT THE CHRIST, BUT I'M SENT BEFORE
HIM. YOU REMEMBER HE'S SENT TO BEAR
WITNESS OF THE LIFE. HE THAT HATH THE BRIDE IS THE
BRIDEGROOM. THERE'S THE BRIDEGROOM. BUT THE
FRIEND OF THE BRIDEGROOM, WHOSETANDETH AND HEARETH HIM, REJOICES GREATLY
BECAUSE OF THE BRIDEGROOM'S VOICE. THIS MY JOY IS FULFILLED. HE MUST INCREASE, I MUST DECREASE. HE THAT COMETH FROM ABOVE IS
ABOVE ALL. HE THAT IS OF THE EARTH IS EARTHY,
AND SPEAKETH OF THE EARTH. HE THAT COMETH FROM HEAVEN IS
ABOVE ALL. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THAT
BRIDEGROOM SENT FROM HEAVEN. HE CAME DOWN TO REDEEM US. IN EPHESIANS CHAPTER 5 BE FAMILIAR
WITH THIS. IT SAID THE LORD LOVED THE CHURCH. HUSBAND, LOVE YOUR WIVES EVEN
AS CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH AND GAVE HIMSELF TO REDEEM IT. Jesus
Christ, like the Son, is the center, light, and life of God's
creation, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Revelation 21,
it says, the city had no need of the S-U-N, Son, neither in
that new creation, a new heaven and a new earth, the old heaven
and the old earth has passed away. The city had no need of
the S-U-N. Neither was the moon to shine
in it, for the glory of God didn't lighten it. And the Lamb is the
light thereof in that new creation. In the new creation, who's the
light? IN THE OLD CREATION OR THE ORIGINAL CREATION, WHO IS
ALIKE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THE BRIDEGROOM COMING OUT
OF HIS CHAMBER TO REDEEM HIS PEOPLE. AND IT SAYS THERE IN
VERSE 5, AND HE REJOICES AS A STRONG MAN TO RUN A RACE. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, JUST HOW
STRONG IS HE? HE'S MIGHTY TO SAVE. THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST REJOICES THAT HE'S ABLE TO SAVE HIS PEOPLE. HE REJOICES
THAT HE'S A STRONG MAN. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS NOT
A WEAK SAVIOR. I DON'T NEED A WEAK SAVIOR. I
NEED AN ALMIGHTY SAVIOR. HE HAS ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND
EARTH. to redeem us, to regenerate us, to make us new creatures
in Christ. He is our great Savior, our great
God and Savior, mighty to save His people from their sins. Isaiah 63 says, I that speak
in righteousness, I'm mighty to save. So he's a strong savior
and he runs the race for us. The forerunner, he's called,
who has entered into heaven and seated for us and we're seated
in him. He's able to save to the uttermost. He's able to save and he's willing
to save, isn't he? He's a willing savior. He's our
kinsman redeemer who has, who is near kin to us, who is able
to redeem, who is willing to redeem. The forerunner is for
us entered in, even Jesus made a high priest forever after the
order of Melchizedek. So you can see here how all creation is preaching the
gospel of the bridegroom, OF THE STRONG MAN WHO REJOICES,
THE LORD FOR THE LOOKING UNTO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER
OF OUR FAITH, WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM ENDURED
THE CROSS, DESPISING THE SHAME, AND IS SET DOWN AT THE RIGHT
HAND OF GOD, A STRONG SAVIOR. VERSE 6 SAYS THIS, HIS GOING
FORTH IS FROM THE END OF HEAVEN, AND I TAKE THAT TO MEAN HE'S
THE EVERLASTING GOD. HE'S THE EVERLASTING SAVIOR WHO
SAVES US WITH AN EVERLASTING SALVATION. WHO OBTAINED FOR US
ETERNAL REDEMPTION. THE LORD GOD, IT SAYS IN PSALM
90, THE LORD, LORD, THOU HAST BEEN OUR DWELLING PLACE IN ALL
GENERATIONS, BEFORE THE MOUNTAINS WERE BROUGHT FORTH, WHEREVER
THOU HAST FORMED THE EARTH, THE WORLD, EVEN FROM EVERLASTING
TO EVERLASTING, THOU ART GOD. YOU SEE HE HAD TO BE EVERLASTING
TO CREATE THE CREATION HE HAD TO BE BEFORE THE CREATION GOD
SAID LET THERE BE LIGHT AND THERE WAS LIGHT. NOW ISAIAH 9 DON'T
TURN LET ME JUST READ IT TO YOU REMEMBER THIS HE'S CALLED THE
EVERLASTING FATHER THE PRINCE OF PEACE REMEMBER Let me read
it to you. For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given, Isaiah 9, 6. The government shall be
upon his shoulders. His name shall be called Wonderful
Counselor. He's a mighty God. He's the everlasting
Father. He's the Prince of Peace. Of
the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end.
Look at the next thing he says there. HIS CIRCUIT, HIS CIRCUIT, AND
TO THE ENDS OF IT, HIS CIRCUIT, OR THE REVOLUTIONS. IF YOU STUDY
ELECTRICITY, ELECTRICITY HAS A CIRCUIT. IT HAS A STARTING
PLACE. IT HAS A CIRCUIT THAT IT RUNS
THROUGH RESISTORS OR DIFFERENT THINGS, DIODES AND DIFFERENT
THINGS, AND IT ALL COMES BACK TO A SOURCE. The Lord Jesus Christ
is the circuit or the revolution unto the ends of the earth. That
is, His mercies are far-reaching, His blessings are widespread,
reaching to all the lost. The Son of Man has come to seek
and to save the lost. It is of the Lord's mercies that
we are not consumed. WHEREVER HIS ELECT MAY BE UPON
THIS EARTH, SOMEHOW, SOME WAY, THROUGH CREATION AND THROUGH
THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL, THE LORD WILL CALL OUT HIS PEOPLE.
LET ME READ THIS TO YOU IN PSALM, OR RATHER ISAIAH 43, FEAR NOT,
I AM WITH THEE, VERSE 5, I WILL BRING THY SEED FROM THE EAST
AND GATHER THEE FROM THE WEST, I'LL SAY TO THE NORTH, GIVE UP
TO THE SOUTH, KEEP NOT BACK, BRING MY SONS FROM FAR, MY DAUGHTERS
FROM THE END OF THE EARTH, EVERY ONE THAT IS CALLED BY MY NAME,
FOR I'VE CREATED HIM FOR MY GLORY, I'VE FORMED HIM, YEA, I'VE MADE
HIM." GOD SENDS HIS GOSPEL OUT TO GATHER HIS PEOPLE, AND HIS
CIRCUIT RUNS TO THE END OF THE EARTH. YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM GOD. David said, if I send to heaven,
thou art there. If I make my bed in the grave,
God is there too. You can't run from God. You can't
hide from God. The Lord has a people that he's
redeemed with his blood out of every kindred, tribe, nation,
tongue, and people under heaven. His elect are everywhere. And
he's gonna call them out with the gospel. Lastly he says this
and there is nothing hid From the heat thereof Nothing
hid from his heat Now what do I see in that the gospel not
only quickens the heart you had the quickened who were dead but
also warms the heart Doesn't it? You remember what? those
disciples said as they walked on the road with the risen Lord
Jesus Christ, when he opened unto them their understanding,
when he began in Genesis and preached the gospel unto them,
and they said, did not our heart burn within us when he opened
the word of the Lord unto us? THERE IS NOTHING HID FROM THE
HEAT OF HIS BURNING LOVE TOWARD HIS PEOPLE, AND NOTHING HID FROM
HIS KNOWLEDGE EITHER. HE KNOWS ALL THINGS. THIS IS
THE ONE WITH WHOM WE HAVE TO DO. THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK
AND POWERFUL, SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD. REMEMBER HEBREWS
4? And then he says after that in
verse 13, neither is there any creature that's not manifest
in his sight. All things are naked and open
unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. There's nothing hid from God. You can't hide from him. And
nothing hid from his heat. THE WARMTH OF THE GOSPEL, AND
NOTHING HID FROM HIS KNOWLEDGE. HE KNOWS ALL THINGS. BUT THERE'S
SOMETHING ELSE HERE, TOO. LET ME GIVE YOU THIS. THERE ARE
NONE WHO BELIEVE, THERE ARE NONE WHO BELIEVE WHO SHALL BE DENIED
THE WARMTH OF HIS LOVE, RIGHT? ALL BELIEVERS KNOW THE WARMTH
OF HIS LOVE. WE READ A MOMENT AGO, SANG A
MOMENT AGO, COME HOLY SPIRIT, HEAVENLY DOVE, SHED ABROAD IN
OUR HEARTS THAT LOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. AND NONE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE,
WHO SHALL ESCAPE THE HEAT OF HIS WRATH. NOW, THERE'S THE HEAT
OF HIS LOVE, RIGHT, TOWARD HIS OWN BELIEVERS, AND THERE'S THE
HEAT OF HIS WRATH. TOWARD THOSE WHO WILL NOT HAVE
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE THAT BELIEVETH ON HIM, ON
THE SON, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT THE SON
SHALL NOT SEE LIFE, BUT THE HEAT OF HIS WRATH. THE WRATH OF GOD
ABIDES ON HIM. ISN'T THAT A GOOD DESCRIPTION
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHICH IS A BRIDEGROOM COMING OUT OF
HIS CHAMBER. HE'S OUR BRIDEGROOM. HE CAME
TO REDEEM US. HE REJOICES IN SAVING US AS A
STRONG MAN TO RUN AND FINISH THAT RACE. HIS GOING FORTH IS
FROM EVERLASTING, HIS CIRCUIT, HIS POWER, AND TO THE ENDS OF
THE EARTH THERE'S NOTHING HID FROM THE LORD.
