“ they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength...”  - Isa. 40:31

Someone said to wait on the Lord is hard. It is not hard. It is impossible. Thank the Lord that what is impossible with man, is possible with God.  The word “renew” in this verse means; “to change” or exchange.  It is a supernatural work of grace in the heart that causes us to confess our weakness and trust Christ for His strength; to change our way for His way.  “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”  - 2 Cor. 12:9-10.
