We fly the flag every day, usually a smaller version. We have done that since 9-11 when we were reminded so vividly of being an American and living on soil that hadn't yet borne the grief of terroism. This one we fly on special days such as today, the celebration of Veteran's Day!
I don't think of myself as widly patriotic in the usual sense, I am however, so thankful to God to live in this country where I can worship Him in spirit and in truth and not be persecuted for it. It is easy to take that freedom for granted and although it is God given, as all thing are, it has been fought for and defended by brave and courageous men and women.
I hope that you remember them today.
