1 Samuel 3 verse 1 and the child Samuel ministered
unto the Lord before Eli and the word of the Lord was precious
in those days there was no open vision it's interesting and it was helpful
to me to see Samuel here still called a child in the verse,
likely about 12 years old or so. It's especially interesting
and I thought instructive to see him ministering unto the
Lord as a child, as a young, very young man. And especially
when we see in verse 7 of the text, look down at verse 7, now
Samuel did not yet know the Lord. And yet he was in the house of
the Lord ministering and I thought that was instructive to us. I believe there's a lesson there
for us. We know in verse 15 he opened
the doors in the morning when he rose he opened the doors of
the house of the Lord it says. He likely closed them at night.
He opened the place up and that included I'm sure replenishing
the oil in the lamps and things like that making sure they stayed
lit and menial tasks in the place of worship. And surely now, though
all these types and pictures, there's not daily chores and
things like that to do here. There's a lot of things to do
and a lot of time. But though these types and these
pictures and the purposes of the tabernacle and the temple
have been fulfilled by Christ and in Christ. And so we don't
have these things. Surely it would be a good way
for children, young people, to learn the importance of the worship,
the importance of the Word of God, to have them serve in some
way. I never had really thought about that much. Very young children
maybe can't do much, but what they can do, and we don't know
what Samuel did, but whatever he did, he was able to do. He
did what he could. And maybe they couldn't do a
whole lot, but if we learn anything from the Word of God, it's to
not despise the day of small things. God is what this world
considers small things or big things to God, and vice versa.
So I thought that was interesting, that was worth thinking about.
God is served in the small things, and whatever a child is able
to do well, he or she will learn that to do the Lord's will is
first. that his worship is preeminent,
most important, if they have a part in that somehow. And then
it said the word of the Lord was precious in those days. That
is, it was rare. It was rare and therefore highly
valued. There was no open vision, that
is, there was no public revelation from God. No one apparently to speak the
word of God in a public, open manner to a congregation. In other words, there was no
prophet. And hence the context of this in chapter 3 of 1 Samuel,
God's going to call Samuel to be his prophet. And so that's
why this is mentioned here. Before he did call Samuel, there
was no open vision. There was no public spokesman. for God at that time. And so God prefaces his calling
of Samuel to be his prophet with these words. He's pleased, God
is pleased at times to be relatively silent. And for many, many decades
we know that between the Old Testament and the New God was
silent. No prophet, no word from God, And then when
he's pleased he'll raise up a man to speak to a generation, sometimes
more than one. And he'll reveal his will, his
gospel through that man. But it's important that we see
right off here because we're going to talk about this a lot
tonight. That God raises somebody up and that man speaks for God
and that's how people hear from God. That's how God does it. Always has, always will. Now very little of scripture
was written at this time. This is part of this thing of
there not being any open or public revelation from God. There was
very little of the word of God written. But also Eli's sons
had made the priesthood and the worship of God by sacrifice to
be an abomination. You couldn't worship in that
because they had turned the things that God had ordained that he'd
be worshipped in, they had turned them into horribles. tradition
in the will of man. And their father Eli wasn't a
whole lot better. He allowed them to do it and
had no backbone to stop them. And so any and all true worship
of God or revelation from God, even in picture and type, was
rare. And like most rare things, it
was highly valued by some. Those that we saw in chapter
2 who were perfectly willing for the corrupt priests of their
day to take all of the meat offering and not leave anything for them
if they would at least honor God in the burning of the fat
first. At least perform the very thing
that the sacrifice is primarily for. Honor God in it. Show that
God's justice must be satisfied. for the sinner by the death of
an innocent victim. At least show that. At least
be true to that title. At least honor God in that and
then take everything if you want to after that. These people here,
I suspect at this time when the word of God was rare, they would
be placing a high value on it. Because it mattered to them that
God was honored and that the truth of God was known and he
was worshipped in truth and in spirit. placed a high value on
the unperverted by the will of man, direct and plain word from
God. They craved it, they desired
it. And what about us in this day?
I thought about us in this, this is a day of apostasy and darkness. But 999 out of a thousand so-called
churches, and that's being conservative, that's being kind, are dens of
thieves and Pulpits are full of preachers who don't know God,
have no light from God. It's just plain. If they speak
not according to the word of this prophecy, it's because there's
no light in them. God hasn't given them any light. And even
many, you know, I used to think, you know, if somebody knew the
doctrines of grace, what we call the doctrines of grace, That
was the end game. That was all there was to it. You're good to go. But even those
now, many who argue what they call the doctrines of grace,
some seem to have a little different version of that. When the Word
of God is not your doctrine, it's a free-for-all. But even they have no respect
whatsoever for God's ordained authority, and therefore they
fall into all manner of error, and spend their time debating
trivial and irrelevant points of contention. And so, it's a
dark time, isn't it? It's a dark time. And when I
say God's ordained authority, I simply mean this. God is about
to raise up Samuel here and show that God is the one that calls
men to speak for him. He still does that. I know that
the The Roman Catholic Church speaks of the authority of the
church in a sense that's repulsive. I know that they talk about that
in an unscriptural and profane way. But when did God's church
become irrelevant? What about the true church of
God and true preachers of the gospel? Does God not do things
that way anymore? It seems like nobody cares about
that much. And I know I'm preaching to people that aren't here tonight,
but that's important sometimes. Because we live in this age,
we live in this day in which it's just not valued by many. Does God not still call men and
speak through them? And if he does not, then show
me somebody, show me some of these idiots that love to argue
and debate things on their own and say they don't need a pastor.
They can, you know, discover the truth for themselves. Somebody
show me the clear revelation from God where He overruled and
made obsolete His own teaching in the New Testament. Show me
that revelation somewhere. And if God has not disannulled
that means of raising up men to speak for Him in His church
where a true family of God gathers to worship Him in the sacrifice
which is We're talking about him ministering in the house
of the Lord. That house of the Lord, it had
everything to do with the sacrifice. Everything revolved around the
sacrifice. Nothing else happened until an
innocent victim's blood was shed. And that's what it's about here.
That's what it's about everywhere in anything that can be called
a true house of the Lord. It's about Christ. It's about
Christ. And if God has not stopped doing
things that way, and if anybody out there cares what God said
about the way God does things, find one of his true preachers
somewhere. Find one of them. Find his true church and support
it with everything you are and everything you have. The true
churches of Christ in our day are I don't know how to say it right,
and I've told you before, as I get older, I just don't want
to even say things right so much anymore. I just want to say them.
I just want to be blunt about things. Can I do that? And I don't want to say this
in such a way that you feel like I'm ungrateful for you who are
faithful to the truth. I thank God for you. As Paul
said, I thank my God daily for you. But I see churches, true churches,
with God-honoring preachers speaking for God. And just a handful of
people show up, and all these people out here where there are
no churches, talking about like they know what they're talking
about, and calling for pastors to come and preach to them, and,
you know, we just need a pastor. Ten years later, we just still
need a pastor. You're asking somebody to give up everything
he knows and loves and come to you, and you won't do that to
go to the gospel yourself. Is that blunt enough? It's time
to pull up if there's no word where you are. Do you see a problem
with that? You got people out there in the
darkness, and then you got the church that can barely get by.
Come on in! God is still speaking through
men. And I know a few of them, and
I have no doubt about it. Find one of his churches, find
a true, somebody that's speaking according to the word of this
prophecy, because God's light is in them. And give it all you
got. And here's why this is important,
vitally important. God has always had a spokesman. When Job's friends were having
a fruitless and misleading debate with him and not speaking according
to God himself. They spoke not that thing which
was right concerning God. That was God's estimation of
all that they said. They're trying to talk to Job
and tell him why all these things happened to him and God said
you haven't spoken that which was right concerning me. These
three friends ganged up on him. They were well-educated men evidently. It was evident in the way that
they spoke. But then God sent Elihu. He just
comes out of nowhere in the text of the book of Job and begins
to speak for God. And it's like somebody turned
the light on. He rebuked them and came humbly
and in a God-honoring way and spoke for God and did them all
good. Showed his friends where they
were wrong and showed Job where he was wrong too. Then God ended
up blessing Job and sacrifice was offered for Job's friends
and God was spoken for and represented
and a lot was learned. There was rebuke and Paul said
the scriptures are profitable for reproof and rebuke for instruction
and righteousness. And that's what happened there.
When the writer of Psalm 73, you remember I refer to it a
lot, the one that said he was envious of the wicked and it
caused his feet almost to slip. It almost caused him to abandon
the truth and the gospel. He was confused and he was hurting
and he didn't know up from down. He was deceived by his own covetous
heart. He said, looks like the best
thing to do is just forget God and be part of this world. They're
doing much better off than we are. He said he was as a beast before
God. That was his own estimation.
And he was. And we are. We have the same covetous heart
beating in every one of us. He was as a beast before God
and didn't know it for a while, but by God's grace he was able
to go into the sanctuary of God. and learn from God and see things
by God's grace from God's perspective and not that of a beast. And
I'll tell you what he saw. He saw that Christ is all. You
read that chapter and you tell me what he saw. He said in the
last part of that chapter that he saw their end and how that
the people of God, yeah, we may be going through some things
in this life and it may affect us more than it does this world
to see the wretchedness of our own flesh and of this world and
to see him. But he was able to see things
from the perspective of God, and he said that his only hope
was that through all of that, even when he was a beast before
God, God was holding him by his right hand. Now, how is God,
who is spirit, gonna hold a sinner by his right hand? How is God,
who is more holy than to even look at somebody like me, gonna
take me by the right hand and hold me up? I'll tell you how,
Jesus Christ, the God-man. That's how God reaches down and
takes hold of a sinner. The Son of God came down here
to save and he saved. The Lord of glory gave himself
for a whole bunch of sinners who are by nature as beasts before
God and don't know right from wrong and don't know a blessing
from a curse. He came down here and lived for
them and died for them. And now that we know him, all
that we thought was loss is gain. And everything we counted gain,
now we count it to be loss. For Christ, that we may win Christ. And how'd we find out about that?
Same place he did, in the sanctuary of God. Not a building, in Christ,
where the truth of God was set forth. the truth concerning his
son, the gospel. Where are you gonna go tonight,
in our day, right now? Where are you gonna go to hear
Christ preached? And not just preached about.
We don't preach about Christ, we preach Christ. Well, what's
the difference, Chris? Our message is a person. It's not just concerning just
some things that he's not just a historical figure who did some
miraculous things. He is the thing. He is the one
thing that's needful. We preach him. We don't preach the resurrection.
Christ is the resurrection. We don't preach the crucifixion. We preach Christ crucified. We
don't preach election. We preach the God who elected
sinners in His Son, Jesus Christ, before the foundation of the
world. There's a huge difference. And if you don't see it now,
I pray one day you will. Because it's life and death.
It's life and death. You're either rejoicing in the
doctrine of election, or you're rejoicing in the Son of God.
And it's life and death. Maybe neither one. Most people
are not rejoicing in either one. Christ crucified Himself is atonement,
redemption, justification with God. His precious blood actually
washes sins away. You need Him and Him alone. And there are a handful of preachers
still declaring that, still It's hard to improve on the way
Paul put it. We preach Christ and Him crucified. It's hard
to improve on that, isn't it? I need somebody to preach Him
to me. I feel, I'm pretty sure you feel the same way. I need
to be preached. I need Christ preached to me. Or in a couple
of months, or maybe less than that, I'll be the one arguing
about superlapsarianism versus infralapsarianism. with those
who don't know God. I'll be passionate about the
shape of the earth and not so much about God sending his son
into this world to redeem wretched sinners like me. Unless I hear
from God, how's that going to happen? God said, you're not
going to be able to, you're not going to be saved unless you
call on him. And you're not going to call
on him unless you believe on him. And you're not going to believe
on him unless you hear of him. And you're not going to hear
of him unless somebody preaches him. And nobody's going to preach
him unless God sends somebody. Is he still doing things that
way? I'm counting on it. I'm counting on it. Not in my
role here. I'm counting on it because I
need to hear from God just like you do. How am I going to hear from God
tonight? That's the question. You see, we'd have to have read
the whole chapter three, I guess, to put this in perspective. But
if you read the chapter as we go through it, you'll see why
this is the emphasis of the first message here in this chapter.
Because God, at that time, the word of God was rare. It was
priceless and precious to those who knew God because it was rare
to hear from God and they wanted to hear from God. You remember
Cornelius in Acts chapter 10. He was praying to God and beseeching
God and begging God. What was he begging for? The
answer to his prayer was an angel came down and said, go sin for
the apostle Peter. And Simon Peter came there and
preached the gospel to them and said, God has answered your prayer. Is that your prayer tonight?
Is that mine? Is that what's precious to us? To hear from
God. How am I going to hear from God?
Am I just going to take my Bible and study it by myself in my
room? That's how people discover that
the earth is flat. From the Bible. From the Bible.
2 Peter 1.19. Turn there with me
because I won't have you turn to a lot of scripture tonight
for the sake of time. So I want you to see this one at least
in With your own eyes 2nd Peter 119 The Apostle Peter is talking
about how they experienced a Great vision on the Mount of
Transfiguration He was there when the face of the Lord Jesus
Christ when the very glory of God shown From his face when
the veil of flesh was taken away for a moment. He saw Some measure
Of the glory of god not the full glory of god because god revealed
a long time ago. You can't see his face and live
But somehow god revealed his glory in a mighty way and they
lived through it in the face of the lord jesus In second peter
119, but then he said this we have also a more sure word of
prophecy. We have something more certain
and more reliable And more important more more sure, more steadfast
than a vision from God. It's the word of prophecy, the
word that God gives to sinners through a spokesman, through
prophets of old, but now he speaks to us by his son through his
ambassadors, through the ambassadors of the king. Where unto you do
well that you take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark
place, Until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. Keep listening to the word keep
Coming where the light is shining until it shines in your heart.
You see that isn't that beautiful? Just keep coming even Samuel
and I tell you he didn't know the Lord yet But he was in the
right place to find out who God is and the Lord revealed himself
to the Lord called him and Knowing this first, that no prophecy
of the scripture is of any private interpretation. Now both of those, I've heard
the word private be emphasized there. But both of those, both
words are to be emphasized. The word of God is not to be
interpreted. It's just to be declared. I don't need somebody
to tell me what God meant by what he said. He revealed it
in English to me. And I understand English. Just
tell me what God said. Just declare the truth of God.
And certainly not privately is it to be interpreted. For the
prophecy, how is it then? How do we hear from God? The
prophecy came not in old time by the will of men, but holy
men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. God
gave somebody his word and said, speak to the people and here's
what you say to them. And then that person stood up
and said, thus saith the Lord. And we have examples of it in
the scripture where when they said that, what followed that
was exactly what God said. Not an interpretation of it,
not a version of it, not deductions reached from it, Here's what
God said. In our text, there was no public
revelation from God for a time, but God was about to raise somebody
up, and he's always done that in every age. Always has. Before God raised up Samuel,
there was error, corruption, and terrible sin taking place
in the name of God, just like now. And God-fearing people couldn't
even stand to come to the place of worship because it was so
terribly perverted. It says they despised the sacrifice. It doesn't mean they described
God's way of doing things. They didn't despise God's sacrifice.
They despised what was going on in the name of God. They saw
the corruption of the priesthood. And what is God's solution to
that? What is God's solution to chapter
two of the book of first Samuel and the first verse that there's
just no word from God God says Samuel Samuel And we'll see what
that led to as we study through this chapter God called him by
name and opened his heart and revealed himself to him and gave
Samuel his word and Samuel became the spokesman of
God. That's God's remedy to that when people are in darkness and
people are The imagination of men's heart is only evil continually. It's still that way So don't
lean on your imagination Don't trust your thoughts and deductions
concerning scripture. Take the Word of God exactly
as he gave it and Rejoice in the revelation of his son. This
book concerns his son Jesus Christ Romans chapter 1 and And this
is what our generation needs. This was God's solution to the
Word of God being rare. And people, even people who feared
God couldn't even come to the place of worship anymore. What's
going to happen? How are we going to get out of
that mess? God's going to raise somebody up to speak. We're going to hear from God
for a change. Wouldn't that be nice? What do we need in this generation? Somebody to tell boldly and plainly
the Word of God. God's Word concerns His Son. Let's quit arguing with people
that disagree with us. Let's quit settling debates from
the pulpit and just declare the Gospel and have God save sinners. Let's quit delving into unanswerable
questions. And tell sinners the answer to
the one question. Tell sinners what the one thing
needful is. Who He is. What He did and why
He did it. Where He is now. Him and everything
about Him. God's word to sinners is the
same as it was in Samuel's day. Honor my sacrifice. That's what
was going wrong. The sacrifice. was being defiled. That was the problem God had
with Eli's sons. They profaned the sacrifice.
They despised and profaned the worship of the Lord Jesus Christ
in the types and pictures of the Old Testament. And that's
still the problem in our day. So-called preachers are defiling
the sacrifice. What's the solution to that?
Somebody just set forth Christ as He is. Just preach Him as
He is, the sovereign, victorious, almighty, successful substitute
for sinners. We must offer God the sacrifice
that He ordained, not the way we want it to be. And that's
not done by killing an animal, that's done by coming before
God, as Paul said, he wanted to come before God. Not having
mine own righteousness, but Christ's. Not trusting my own religion,
my own works, but trusting Christ alone. Christ is our offering. Christ
is our sacrifice, our substitute, our righteousness, and our priest. Christ both represented us before
God as our great high priest, and he himself is the sacrifice
that he came before God with, his own precious blood, when
he represented us before God. No man comes to God, but that
way by Christ Taking his own precious blood into the very
holy place not made with hands into the very presence of God
for us He entered there for us And obtained eternal redemption
for us Now here in verses 2 through
4 back to our text if you're back over there already look
at verse 2 and it came to pass at that time that When Eli was
laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim that he
could not see. And ere the lamp of God went
out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and
Samuel was laid down, that the Lord called Samuel. Look at this
beautiful picture now. This is the grace of God. Why
do we have such detail? You rarely see in the Word of
God this kind of detail. It's picturing Eli laying down
on his bed, and the candle of his room was put out, and he
couldn't see, and his eyes were dim. But before the lamp of God
in the temple went out, where the Ark of God was, and so Eli's
laying down on his bed, and Samuel lays down to go to sleep. Why
are we given that kind of detail? Listen to the spiritual truth
taught here. It came to pass at that time
when Eli was laid down in his place and his eyes began to wax
dim. Eli was God's servant now. God
loved Eli and used Eli. But he rebuked him harshly, didn't
he? And judged his family because he just didn't have the, he didn't
want, he didn't stand up to his sons. He let it happen. He let
him get away with it. And God rebuked him harshly for
that. And his eyes were growing dim, weren't they? He was neglecting
the things of God. He wasn't the strong priest of
God that he should be, of being jealous for the glory of God
in those things, and insisting on things being done God's way. He could not see. But before,
verse 3, before the lamp of God completely went out. Isn't that
wonderful? Just in time. Before the candlestick
was completely taken away. Before the light went out for
good. Before God just left men to their own devices without
any word or light from him. That's not gonna happen until
God wraps this whole thing up. He's not gonna leave himself
without a witness now. Not gonna let the lamp go out
completely. Our eyes may be dim at times and others certainly
are in our day. If not ours. But God's not gonna let his lamp
completely go out And look, it's the lamp of God in the temple
of the Lord where the ark of God was I've completely abandoned
my note. So I need to look and find out
where I left off now But this is think about the spiritual
picture here how beautiful this is The Word of God was rare and
precious in those days there was no voice for God to the people
and But look what God did when Eli, even the man of God, even
his eyes were dim. And that's what happens spiritually
when God doesn't speak to a sinner. How are we going to see when
God doesn't give us any light? Spiritually, how are we going
to see? And it's talking about, or if we neglect the light that
God gives, if we refuse the light. And that's just to say that it's
our fault. It's not God's fault. And it's
talking about the place where the ark was. You see that? The
ark of where the ark of God was. You know what that ark is? That's
the presence of the Lord. That's communion with the Lord.
That's the favor and blessing of the Lord. In other words,
that's Christ. In the place where Christ was, in the place of blessing,
where the mercy seat is. You remember the mercy seat?
God said of the mercy seat in Exodus 25 22 there. I will meet
with you And I don't know if you want to meet with God or
not tonight But I'll tell you this he'll meet with you at the
mercy seat and instead of Destroying you and putting you in hell.
He said here's what I'll do. I'll meet with you and I'll commune
with you right there in one place I'll commune with you from above
the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims, which are
upon the ark of the testimony of all things which I will give
thee in commandment unto the children of Israel." In other words, God will meet
with you in Christ, not in wrath, not in judgment, but in sweet
communion and fellowship. Only there, only in his son,
only at the mercy seat. God said, I will meet with you
there and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat.
Well, where's the mercy seat now? The Lord said in Matthew 18,
24, where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the
midst of them. The mercy seat was Christ then.
The mercy seat is Christ now. It's not an object covered with
gold. It's Christ. And do we meet here in his name
now? Where did he say he'd be? That's where I want to be. That's
where I want to be. That's where God's worshipped.
It has very little to do with this building. I thank God for
this building because this is the place where he meets with
us. But if he don't meet with us, how much is this building
worth? That's the place of worship.
We're not just meeting in a building tonight. We're meeting in God's
Son. We're meeting at the mercy seat. And before the light went
out, before the light went completely out, God called someone to speak
for him. Oh, you can see that played out
in generations, and you can see that played out in one lifetime.
Before the light completely goes out, will he shine the light
in your heart? Will he shine the light in the hearts of those
we love that don't know him before this light goes out? Oh, I hope
so, don't you? I hope so. Thank God he didn't let the light
go out now. I know God tonight because he
didn't let the light go out. That's how I know him. Because he gave the light to
somebody and called them as he called Samuel. And God called
Samuel four times. Look at it. Look at verse 4 again. Let the Lord call Samuel before
the light went out in the place Where the mercy seal, I can't
get over that. And he ran into Eli and said, here am I, for
thou callest me. And he said, I called not, lie
down again. And he went and lay down. Eli
said, go back to bed. What are you doing? What are
you talking about? And the Lord called yet again,
Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to
Eli and said, here am I, for thou didst call me. And he answered,
I called not, my son, lie down again. Now Samuel did not yet
know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed
unto him. And the Lord called Samuel again
the third time. And he arose and went to Eli
and said, Here am I, for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived
that the Lord had called the child. Therefore Eli said, They
were so used to not hearing from God that when they heard from
God, they didn't know who he was. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel,
Go lie down, and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt
say, Speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth. And Samuel went and
lay down in his place, and the Lord came and stood, and called
us at other times, Samuel, Samuel. So four times the Lord called
Samuel. Reckon why? Why didn't God just
get his attention the first time? Do you think he's able to do
that? He can get your attention when he's good and ready, can't
he? He didn't have to wrestle with Jacob all night. You think?
You think that's because Jacob was so strong? I reckon not. Here's what we know about this.
If God has something to say to you, He's going to say it and
you're going to sooner or later receive it. You're going to get
it. You can kick against the goads for a while and He may
let you. But sooner or later you're going
to get it. Your flesh, you not knowing his voice when you hear
it may mean that it'll take a while. God may allow it to take a while.
It may not mean that. You may be blind as a bat and
God may wake you up in an instant. He may send one word to you and
boom. He's able to do that if he's
pleased to do that. I know it's going to be his gospel though.
It's not going to be the error of this religious age. He's not
going to use that. But God may allow it to take
a while. And we see why, because they didn't know who He was. But if God intends for you to
hear from Him, you fix in to hear from Him. And He speaks to sinners today,
right now, tonight, by the Gospel of His dear Son. It pleased God
by the foolishness of preaching to save. And how revealing to see the
language concerning Eli's sons contrasted with that concerning
Samuel. Look at verse 7 again. We'll
close with this thought. Verse 7. Now Samuel did not yet know the
Lord. In chapter 2 verse 12 it says
of Eli's sons They knew not the Lord. It says of Samuel, where we just
read, he didn't know the Lord yet. Big difference. Big difference. Just a beautiful
and simple reminder that the Lord's people are the Lord's
people way before they know they're the Lord's people. Before they believe on Him, He
knows them a long time before they know Him. Before they come to Him. I wonder
if there's anybody here tonight or that comes to this church
at all, anybody that we know, that we see sometimes here, that
does not know the Lord. And I wonder if there's anybody
that's here tonight or that comes to this church who does not know
the Lord yet. The Lord will make that known
in time. But here's my comfort tonight. He knows. And he knows it because he has
caused it. He knows the end from the beginning
because he has ordained the end from the beginning. To those that I love, who don't know the Lord, do they
not know Him or do they not know Him yet? That's in His hand. And I couldn't be any happier
about that. I'm glad that's in His hand and I pray to God, I
pray to the God who holds their souls in His hand. that he would
have mercy on them. I pray to that God. Have mercy
on them. Let's join together in that.
Don't let a day go by. May he give me grace not to let
a day go by. Don't let a day go by without
praying for them. Let's pray together.
