That's a good meal. OK, go back to Acts chapter two. This is. We're going to look at a few
verses that will serve as a text and then we'll go to another
portion and stay there. Acts chapter two, look at verses
37 through 40 again. Now, when they heard this, that
is, the message of Christ, the Sovereign Lord, whom they rejected,
and of the Sovereign God putting Him on the throne, and them being
in His sovereign power to do with as He pleases, and of His
imminent judgment of all His enemies, that was the message
that Peter wrote. And when they heard this, they
were pricked in their heart. They were convicted. And said
unto Peter and to the rest of the apostle men and brethren,
What shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent. That is, cry unto the Lord for
forgiveness. Beg the Lord for forgiveness,
for mercy. And turn from your unbelief and
from your sin. Repent and be baptized. Every
one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of
sin. That is, confess Christ, the
one you rejected before. Now confess him before all. The one whom you said before,
in mockery and condemnation of him, the one of whom you said,
let his blood be on us and our children. Now confess before
all. May his blood be on us in salvation
and on our children. Confess him. And Peter said,
you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The fact that
they were convicted means the Holy Ghost had descended upon
them. The gift of the Holy Ghost is
the earnest or the promise of the Holy Spirit of assurance.
of salvation by faith in Christ. And that's what they received
after this for verse thirty nine. Peter said the promise is unto
you. And to your children. God's promise
to repentant sinners. The promise of salvation is to
you. Who? You. Those of you who heard it. Those of you who are convicted
by it, the message, and your children, whoever hears it, you
and your children, and to all that are far off, and that was
every one of us, far off, strangers. You remember all these people
had come from various places, and what about us? We're a long
ways away from that little country, far off, strangers of the covenant,
but now we're not, brought not. Even as many, verse thirty-nine,
as the Lord our God shall call. That's how they got there. That's how we got here. The Lord,
by his sovereign mercy and grace, called them. As many as the Lord
our God shall call. No less, no more. And with many
other words did he testify and exhort. So Peter was, that wasn't
all he said, but Peter exhorted and testified and and expounded
more on what he just said. Save. Now here's the text. Save yourselves from this untoward
generation. Save yourselves from this untoward
generation. That's the title and that's our
subject. Save yourself. Now the word untoward
This is the only time it's used in Scripture, but it's the same
word as crooked. For Peter said, you do shine
as lights in a crooked and perverse nation. We get the word scoliosis
from this. That's the word crooked. And he says, save yourself from
this crooked generation. Save yourself. Now, this is part
of the preacher's job. The preacher is called a watchman,
who is to warn the sheep of dangers and expose error. That's part
of the watchman's job. Peter was a faithful under-shepherd
and he So he warned them. Paul was. You remember Paul said
to the Ephesians for three years, I cease not to warn you day and
night. Remember that? To warn of impending
judgment upon an evil generation. And that's part of my job. And
every now and then, or very often, we need to be warned. to save
ourselves from this untoward or wicked generation. Go over
to Romans chapter 1. Romans chapter 1 now is where
we're going to stay. Now more than ever, this applies
more completely to this generation more than any other. We're in
the very last of the last days. Now more than ever, We as believers,
professing believers, need to be exhorted, need to be warned,
because the truth is under such attack. The truth is so hard
to find. God's Word is being so corrupted,
so twisted, perverted. So very, very few who are preaching
it in truth Now, more than ever, you and I, as professing believers,
need to be mindful of and understanding this book right here, Romans
chapter one, especially in the midst of this crooked, crooked
generation. Now, Romans chapter one is just
the foundation. It reveals everything as it is. Romans chapter 1 very clearly
reveals things in black and white. This is not anyone's interpretation. Just a reading of it should be
very clear to any honest individual, should one say. Truth and error. Now look at verse 16. Paul says
this, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the
power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. The
gospel is the power of God unto salvation. The power of God hath
appeared unto us, hath come to us. God hath called us by this
gospel. And we felt its power, its life-giving
power. Life from the dead. God who hath
opened our blind eyes by his power. God who hath brought us
from darkness to light by this gospel power. God who hath led
captivity captive. That's us. We were in captivity,
and he hath led us to be bond slaves of his own. God who hath
given us an understanding, John said, that we might know him
that is true, and that we are in him that is true. Praise be
to God for this gospel power which hath appeared unto us.
to everyone that believe it. Young, old, Jew first, verse
16, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. I highly recommend
sometimes that you read John Bundy's sermon on Jerusalem's
sinner's day, where he took the text where it says the Lord told
the disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel
beginning at Jerusalem. Meaning, Those were the ones
rejecting him. Those were the worst of the worst.
So our Lord, who is rich in mercy and great, told his disciples,
you start right there with the chief of sinners. This gospel
is for the worst. I know. I'm one of them. And the gospel power came to
the Jew first and to the Greek all the way across vast oceans
to this little place where we live, even Greeks, the Jew and
the Greek. Verse 17, he says, In the gospel
is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith. That is,
Jew and Greek both believe and understand something about this
righteousness of God. Now, I want to make this simple.
I want to make it applicable. And not just doctrine. We hear
this a lot. Nevertheless, this is, you know,
this is the issue. It always has been. And right
now, more than ever, this is the issue. This is what man has
always rejected. This is what man has always rejected. That is, the absolute holiness
and justice and righteousness of God. Men and women just don't
believe God's that holy. They just don't. They don't believe
God is that strict in his requirements of his law. They don't believe
that. Scripture says they're willingly ignorant. That is,
they ignore. Ignorant, the word ignorant comes
from the word ignore. And people do not like a God
that demanding and that holy. Peter said, or Paul said it in
chapter ten, they're ignorant of God's righteousness. Well, he says here, in the gospel
is the righteousness of God revealed. That's the only reason the gospel
is gospel, or good news. It's good news of salvation provided
for you, done for you. imputed to you, righteousness
imputed to you, charged to you, that you had nothing to do with.
A righteousness you could not produce. And only one could. The righteousness of God, which
is in Jesus Christ. He produced it. That's the righteousness
of God. It's clearly revealed. Therein
is the righteousness of God revealed. God's essential holiness. And
He must be holy. Or the next heaven and earth
will turn into another place of sin. And the righteousness which Christ
worked out for his people, that's what is revealed in the gospel.
And it says, read on, verse seventeen, as it is written, the just shall
live by faith. The just shall live, the justified,
those who God declares to be holy. and accepted and righteous
and approved by Him, are accepted or approved or justified
100% by faith, by the faith of Jesus
Christ. That's good news to the weak,
the helpless, the lowly, the sinful. justified by the faith
of the Son of God. Now look at verse 18. See, it
says, fourth, the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. Now, all of this is so
contrary to what is being heard today. This is the exact opposite
of what's being preached today. But blessed are your ears. They
hear the truth. And your eyes, they see, they
actually look at it. I can't ever recall hearing anyone
preach from Romans 1 other than a true preacher. It's almost like the book of
Romans doesn't exist anymore. They ignore it completely. But
it says, now the wrath of God is revealed from heaven. The
wrath of God are two things that are revealed, he already told
us. Two things that are revealed, he already told us that the righteousness
of God is revealed in the gospel. And so many think that we just
like the sound of that word or something, or that it's just
high sounding doctrine because we say it over and over again.
But five hundred times in scripture, five hundred times. It must be
pretty important, and well, he said, that's what the gospel
reveals to us, makes known to us. And that's what you'll hear
true believers talk about. Not by works of righteousness,
which we have done, but his righteousness, Christ. He said, now the wrath
of God is revealed also. The wrath of God is revealed
to us from the scripture and from heaven. A man can receive
nothing except it be given from above. This is that wisdom that
comes from above. This is that revelation that
comes down from above, revealed unto us by His Spirit. Righteousness
and wrath. You know these things. These
are the first things that are revealed to us. Not peace and
love. Not peace and love. Not peace,
peace, when there is no peace. And not love. Now, look at it
very carefully. We're just going to go down through
these verses. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. All ungodliness and unrighteousness. Now, like every generation before
us, this generation has rejected God's Word. Completely. They have a pick and choose religion. a pick and choose what they like.
But for the most part, they rejected God's Word, which speaks mostly
of judgment and wrath, righteousness, the wrath of God. And this generation, like every
other before, has ignored the clear judgments of God from heaven
against all sin. We noted Sunday morning about
the Egyptians, you know, we're going to go through the book
of Exodus, Lord willing. And we noted how that the Egyptians. Though God sent plague after
plague after plague, how many plagues were there? Ten. Ten
plagues over a course of time. It wasn't just ten days, but
it was over a period of time. These plagues lasted a long time.
When a horde, a swarm of locusts just covered the land like it
was just black. It took a while to clear that
up. I mean, that lasted a while just to devastate the crops and
so forth. Hail and lice and flies and darkness
and all of that. These things lasted quite a while.
And they were devastating to the whole land. Now, the Egyptians. who represent the world, unbelievers. The Egyptians never once said,
God's judging us. Never once. What's wrong with them? You'd think they would have,
wouldn't you? That they'd clearly seen. No. Well, who's it clearly
seen by? The Israelites saw it. God told
them beforehand that he was going to do it. And they clearly saw
this is the judgment of God against a wicked and perverse generation. So he said the wrath of God is
revealed, not unto the world, but it is unto us from heaven
against all ungodliness, all of it. There's no such thing
as a little sin before holy God. All ungodliness and unrighteousness
of men. I gave you this illustration
one time. Less people think God is too
strict. Well, is the surgeon too demanding
and too strict to require a sterile operating room or environment? That's too hard of it. Make us
scrub so hard and get so clean. That's just unreasonable. No.
One little staff germ will kill somebody. And so it is with our
holy God. Now, there's no such thing as a little
sin with God. A little innuendo is what turned
this world into this cesspool of the dead. Right? A seemingly
little innuendo by Satan? Hath God said? Just a little
question mark. Turn this world into a corrupt
place. All right, read on. He says,
now the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness. What does that mean, hold the
truth? What is the truth? You're holding it right now. If you have it in your lap or
in your hand, you're holding the truth, God's word. of truth, and most people have
a copy of it. Most people hold a copy, and
say they hold to it. Oh, no, no, no. They hold it
in unrighteousness. Men love darkness rather than
light. Our Lord said that. He said, is that God comes to the light
to have his deeds exposed. But the haters of it, they don't. They reject it. They cover it
over. That's what this book is like.
And evil men and seducers who wax worse and worse twist and
corrupt and arrest the scripture. So much so That now, more than
ever, now more than ever, they call good evil and evil good. Turn with me to Isaiah 59, Isaiah
chapter 59. Now more than ever, this is so true. They call evil good
and good evil. Our Lord said, woe is unto them.
In Isaiah 59, you've looked at this many times, but you need
to be acquainted, and the reason we're studying this, now more
than ever, in the midst of this crooked and perverse generation, how we're saved, how we save
ourselves, is being acquainted with these saving truths. Romans 1 clearly opens our eyes
to what's going on around us. It's just a clear exposure of
everything and everyone around us. Isaiah 59. It's amazing. Isaiah 59, verse 9. Therefore
is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us. Why,
nobody even uses those words anymore, do they? We wait for
light, but behold obscurity. For brightness, we walk in darkness.
Go down to verse 12. Our transgressions are multiplied
before thee, our sins testify against us, for our transgressions
are with us, as for our iniquities, we know them, in transgressing
and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God,
speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from
the heart words of falsehood." Now, Isaiah is Saying we because
he's. He was once an unbeliever too. And this was us. And verse 14
and judgment is turned way backward. Judgment is turned way backward
180 degree. And justice standeth afar off. Truth is falling astray, equity
cannot enter, yea truth faileth and he that departed from evil.
That is, the one who seeks the truth, the one who calls for
justice. Verse 4 said, None calleth for
justice or pleadeth for the truth, but one who does, the one who
wants to know the true and living God and the truth, maketh himself
a prey. Well, he's the one who's hated.
He's the one pursued. Our Lord is the chief example
of that. And the Lord saw it. And it displeased
him greatly. Go back to the text now. And
so this is more applicable now than any, than ever before. Ever
before. Hold the truth in unrighteousness. The gospel is so perverted now.
The God of the scriptures does not, the God that there Preaching
today, no more resembles a God of the Bible than a candle, flickering
candle does at noonday sun. Truly. Verse 19, he says, because that
which may be known may hold the truth in unrighteousness. That
which may be known of God. God has clearly revealed himself
in this book. When you read it, You wonder
how could people not see that? That which may be known of God
is manifest in them or to them. For God has shown it unto them.
Scripture says God has spoken once, yet twice, but men perceive
it not. They rather choose to ignore
it. Verse 20, the invisible things of God from the creation of the
world are clearly seen. being understood by the things
that are made, His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are
without excuse. God's eternal power and Godhead. The sun, the moon, the stars, every
time we wake up and see that huge ball of hydrogen burning
that keeps this planet alive, the moon that controls tides
and various things, the stars that are kept in check, one star
which would probably wipe out a large portion of this planet
if it fell on it, right? But somehow it just keeps missing
us. Creation, God's wonderful creation, all His provisions,
everything our brother Roy read from Psalm 104 tonight. What
a blessed book that is, that speaks of the provision of God
for all of His creation. Now that everything and everyone
gets what they get from God. Even the animals wait on God,
Scripture says. And man is supposed to be such
a noble creature, gives God no credit. That all the provisions
of God The creation of God, everything that sustains our life grows,
just grows freely. Doesn't it? Everything. All of
our food, all of our shelter, all of our clothing, everything
that we need just comes up out of the ground. Well, you think
of that. You'd think man would just sit
up and pay a little bit of attention. But no, He didn't. Verse 21,
it says, Because when they knew God, they glorified Him not as
God, that is, as Creator. Neither were thankful. Neither were thankful. Now that
was all of us at one time. There may still be someone in
here. But that was all of us at one
time, wasn't it? I don't know how many years you
lived before God revealed himself to you. But up till then, you
were nothing but a taker, a taker, a taker, a taker without giving
God one word of thanks. Recipients of God's goodness
for years, years after years, recipients, recipients, everything
given to us without giving God a thought. And it goes on to say, They glorified
him not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in
their imaginations. Their foolish heart was darkened,
vain in their imaginations. Something good would happen,
and you'd say this, Walsher was lucky. What is luck? Luck. That's what everybody says,
and that's the God of this world, luck. Rather than say, God bless me.
Everybody says, well, he sure was lucky. Is it any wonder God's going
to be done with his plan? Just, Nancy, just a word. That's
all he required, a word of thanks. Boy, the Lord sure has been good
to him. I sure was lucky. And if anybody
but God, give anybody but God credit, even Mother Nature, Luck
or skill, vain imagination. I got all this myself by my own
skill and vain imagination. My intelligence is what made
me what I am today. Or my friends, like old Gomer's,
the harlot, said all my lovers gave me my food. Salvation is for the Lord to
reveal to us who it was that provided all this. Read on. It says, professing themselves
to be wise, they became fools. Verse 22, professing themselves
to be wise, they became fools. Educated fools. Has there ever
been a generation this is more applicable to? Now, more than ever, men
are wise in their own conceits. because of technology. You know,
technology is so, and it is pretty amazing, you know, it boggles
my little low IQ. Some of you with higher IQs,
it might not bother you so bad. This is how it works. It's not
nearly as amazing. Man is wise in his own conceit.
Educated fool. Yet, ah boy. You know, the scripture says
over and over a lot about words, words, and a multitude of words. Now, this is, this is appropriate. You'll appreciate this. Scripture
says over and over again about a fool is known by a multitude
of words. Why is that? Because we know
nothing yet as we ought to know. Somebody said an opinion is like
a certain part of the anatomy. Everyone has one. Well, big deal. But a fool is known by a multitude
of words. A fool, in a multitude of words,
it wanteth not stand. Keep talking, and you reveal
that you're a fool, eventually. There's a scripture that also
says, even a fool is thought to be wise if he holds his tongue. If you just shut up for a while. This is the most talkative generation
in the history of the world. What's about the most popular
thing that there is? Talk show. Every single channel is full
of them. Surely you don't sit and watch those, do you? I mean, I'm rebuking you right
now if you do that. What kind of idiot would sit
around and watch people talk all day? People that don't know
anything about anything. These people wouldn't come hear
the gospel. These people wouldn't dare come here and preach the
gospel out of God's Word, would they? They'd never even open
this book. Don't give God a thought. They're
not going to have my time. I'm not going to listen to their
two-bit opinions, like a certain part of their anatomy. Fools. Fools. Verse 23 says, They changed
the glory of the incorruptible God into an image. What's the
first image that they make God into? Man. They've got God, a man, and man,
a God. And on and on, birds and four-footed
beasts and creeping things. Wherefore, verse 24, or verse
23, change the glory of the uncorruptible God. What is God's glory? We've
already been talking about it. We started out this whole thing
by talking about the holiness of God, the righteousness of
God. This is what makes God, God, as opposed to man. What
makes man, man is sin. What makes God, God is holiness.
This is the difference. This is what separates God as
high from the heavens as from the earth. Holiness, sin. The vast gulf fixed between the
scriptures. This is what makes the gospel
so impossible with man and so glorious with God. God bridges
the gap. The glory of God is His holiness.
The glory of God is His sovereignty. And they change the glory of
God Sovereignty means absolute reign and rule. Sovereignty means
independent of anyone, not needing anyone, doing as he pleases.
That's the glory of God. They've changed that into a man. They make God like a man. That's
the glory of God. Wherefore? Now listen, why are
things like they are? Why are things as bad as they
are? Well, since things are as bad
as they are, God's judging. No, this is the judgment of God.
This is the judgment of God. Wherefore? See, you can blame it all on
the pulpit. Blame it all on religion. Wherefore? Verse 24, God gave
them up to uncleanness. It doesn't say God gave up on
them. He didn't give up on us, for such were some of us. But
it says he gave them up, the non-elect, he gave them up to
lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own body between
themselves, who changed the truth. Now here's the reason. Those
who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and
served the creature worshiped and served that changed the truth,
and they worshiped man, his will, his wisdom, his worth, more than
the Creator, who is blessed forever. Oh, amen. Why did Paul say amen? Same reason you and I should
have, I think, in the midst of all that perversion, Paul said,
oh, he's the one that's blessed forever. He's the one that gets
all the glory. He's the one that should be worshipped,
not the creature. Oh, man. Yes, that's the way
it is. And for this cause, verse 26,
God gave them up undivided affection. Now, folks, I just told you that,
and I've told you before. I remember sitting around a group
of preachers one time, and we were talking about a judgment
of God, and we said, we were all agreeing that God's going
to judge this nation greatly because of this, because of the
wickedness of it. Because of all this homosexuality,
back when homosexuality started getting a foothold. And we were
all in agreement, God's going to judge this nation because
of this. corruption, wicked, perverse.
And one wise preacher said, yes, that's true, gentlemen, but he
said, brothers, that is the judgment of God. According to Romans 1,
these things are the judgment of God, clear proof that God
has given God giving up, giving them up,
that is. This is the judgment of God.
Now, you think about it. Just right now, it is the talk
of the country and all this civil unions between these perverts. The fact that it's even an issue
or even being talked about is just amazing. And it was just
20 years ago. It was still a shame to even
bring it out, bring it up. And now it's just. And don't
think for a minute that it's going to stop. It's not. God
give him up. Like Sodom. For the Lord, we're
Abraham, and we're told to pray for our country, pray for kings
and pray and so forth. Well, that's what Abraham did,
didn't he? Abraham pleaded with the Lord,
Lord, would you spare them for ten righteous? Just ten? I'll spare it for ten. But he couldn't find them. And
this is what makes Luke 18, verse 8, such an amazing scripture
to me, when the Lord said, when the Son of Man comes, shall he
find faith on the earth. It's like nobody's ever seen
that verse before, but that just astounds me, that verse. Read
on. It says, verse 27, let's read
verses 27 through 30. Likewise, men leaving the natural
use of the woman burned in their lusts one toward another, Folks, it's not, young people,
it's not an alternative lifestyle like they're saying. It's absolute corruption and
perversion and God Almighty is going to burn this planet up
for these reasons. I was talking to a woman not
long ago and she was talking about not putting, wasn't going
to put her children in public school. And I told her, I said,
well, I said, if they're getting taught on the pulpit like they
should, you don't have to worry about it. If they're getting taught at
the home like they should, you don't have to worry about it.
The Lord promised to train them up in the way that they should
go when they're old and not depart from it. And we tell our children
exactly what God's word says, our teachers do exactly what
is black and what is white. was truth was false. There's
no gray area with God. There's no gray area with God. Very plain. Read on. It says in verse 28,
well, verse 27, receiving in themselves that recompense of
their error, which was me. I told you about that preacher
saying that AIDS was the judgment of God. It is. It is a percentage
of AIDS patients are homosexual do you know that it's the largest. The largest part at one time
is about ninety eight percent that's. And that's who is and
that's who is best I know these African countries but they live.
wicked, polygamous and open immoral lifestyles. And they're getting
the just recompense, read on, of their error. Verse 28, that
they did not like to retain God in their knowledge. All this
knowledge, all this technology, but God's not in it. God gave
them over to a reprobate mind. Reprobate means a mind void of
judgment. No judgment, not even And we
like to say sometimes, don't have a clue. Judgment after judgment after
judgment, and don't have a clue. Like the men of Sodom, all of
them were stricken with blindness. Every one of them, John, you
know the story. Every one of them was stricken with blindness.
You thought one of them would stop and say, what's going on
here? But they didn't. What'd they do? He went groping
after Lot and his daughters. Verse 29, filled with all unrighteousness,
fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy,
murder, debate, deceit, malignancy, whispers. 2 Timothy 3, this is
the same thing. The last eight perilous times
will come. Men shall be covetous, boasters, proud. Lovers of pleasure
more than God. Backbiters, verse 30. Backbiters,
haters of God, despiteful. Nobody's word means anything
anymore. Nobody has any integrity. Inventors
of evil things. Make up all sorts of evil. Disobedient
to parents. Children are wild and unruly.
Without understanding. Covenant breakers without natural
affection, implacable, unmerciful, unmerciful. And it says, verse 32, who knowing
the judgment of God, or that is, they should know, have it
right there in their laps or see it, that they which commit
such things A worthy of death. Worthy of death. Now where are
you hearing this today? Anywhere? Anywhere but here. Worthy of death. This, this,
this world is worthy of death. It's fit for the burning. And they not only do the same,
continue to do, but have pleasure. Brag and boast and take great
pleasure. Now turn one one more scripture
and then I'll close. OK, first Corinthians, let's
end this on a note of praise. First Corinthians six turn over
there. First Corinthians six. Hit for the burning brains. But you know something? That was us. Our Lord said in Zechariah, you
were as a bran plucked from the burning, picked for the burning,
worthy of death. 1 Corinthians 6, verse 11 says,
verse 10, Thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, no extortioners
shall inherit the kingdom of God, and such were some of you.
But you're washed. You've been called by His grace,
by His mercy, by His power. Had your eyes open, your ears
open, your heart broken, your mind restored. You were out of
your mind. Now you're in your right mind.
You have the mind of Christ. You have the mind of God. Have
your eyes wide open to see. Hey, this is what this man has
done. Look at that. Eyes open to see clearly. all
around you, pitfalls and the nets and the corruption about
you, cause you to turn from it, turn
unto the Lord. Such were some of you, but now
you're washed, washed in the blood, sanctified, set apart
by God, justified in the name of the Lord Jesus. He did it
all, didn't He? And by the Spirit of our God.
Ah, such were some of you, but God. That's the reason we love
Ephesians 2 so much, don't we? It's our favorite chapter. Everyone
in here, we just about agree to that. Ephesians 2, it begins,
and you. And it goes on to talk about
how you were. Just children of wrath, even as others, following
the course of this world, prince of power, and you. But God. But God, our salvation is but
God, who is rich in mercy. For His great love were with
He loved us, even when we were dead, it seemed, hath quickened
us together by His grace. Ah, by grace, or with His Son.
By grace, He is saved. Called us by His grace. Plucked
us out as a firebrand plucked out of the burning. And the power
of the gospel came, calling us from life to death. Surely, this is what John was speaking of when he
said, the crooked shall be made straight. Save yourselves from this crooked
generation. The crooked shall be made straight. And the gospel comes like those
people to at Pentecost say and repent, save yourself, repent,
be baptized. Every one of you, every one of
you have heard this message. Confess Christ before all, before
it's too late, so that he will confess you and save your sins. This untoward generation, the
most crooked generation ever, it's not going to last too much
longer. Oh, that was bad. You see clearly, don't you? Clearly
revealed, clearly revealed. So we need these signs. Every
now and then we need to be reminded, lest we sleep as do others, lest
we are at ease in Zion, lest we be led astray with the error
of the wicked. We see these people, and it's
the agenda of Hollywood and various things to make these things seem
like nothing wrong with you. These are nice people. These
are good people, and so on and so forth. Now, because of these things,
the judgment of God, the wrath of God that comes upon the ungodly,
save yourselves from this untold. Come ye apart. Be ye separate.
Let this mind be in you. All right, stand with me. Our Father, thank You so much
for Your truth, which not only sets us free, but enlightens
us and lightens our darkness and clearly reveals error and
lightens our path in the way that we should go. Thank You,
Lord, for Your mercy, Your grace to us in salvation. for plucking
us as brands from the market. Lord, do the same thing for our
children, our friends, our loved ones, and for more of your people. Call them by your grace. Call
them by your gospel as you did us. Continue to call us out of
darkness into your marvelous light. And it's in Christ's name
we are met here tonight. Amen. Thank you.
