Good evening, let's all stand
together. We'll sing hymn number 71. Hymn number 71. Hymn number 71. Blessed day of rest and cheer,
day divine to us so dear, when we gather old and young, joining
here in prayer and song. Now the week of toil is o'er,
And in peace we sit once more, In thy presence, gracious Lord,
Waiting for thy holy word. Lord, our God, we seek Thy face,
Bless us with sustaining grace. May Thy heralds everywhere Faithfully
Thy truth declare. Let Thy mighty word hold sway
Over all our hearts today, Hungering souls good shepherd feed Into
pastures greenest lead. May, O Lord, the day be near
When we pass from trials here Into thine eternal rest In the
mansions of the blessed. Be seated. We'll sing hymn number
205. Hymn number 205. Free from the law, happy condition,
Jesus hath bled and there is remission. Cursed by the law and led by

for all Children of God, O glorious calling,
Surely His grace will keep us from falling. Passing from death to life that
is called, Blessed salvation, born strong. We are going to look in Romans
again, Romans chapter 1. This will be the fourth message
out of Romans. Try to do it on Sunday night
and Wednesday nights. Read the first four verses. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,
called to be an apostle, separated under the gospel of God, which
He had promised afore or before by His prophets in the Holy Scriptures,
concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the
seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the
Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by
the resurrection from the dead, by whom we have received grace
and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations,
for his name. We want to... Steve and Kim was telling me
that Joe is not doing very well and I really love him. And James,
you know, he had a shoulder replaced. And so we got two people out
that would be here. But remember, you know, when
somebody wants to go home You know, they just kind of give
up. Let's pray for them anyway. Our Father, in the blessed, blessed,
glorious, precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
we come with great, great, great thanksgiving Lord, that you,
in your sovereign mercy, sovereign grace, set us apart for yourself
before the world ever began, chose us in your blessed Son
before the foundation of the world, set us apart by the gospel
and belief of the truth, put in our hearts a new nature, a
new will, new desires, And Lord, we thank you for it. Oh, how
we bless you for it. And Lord, I thank you that we've
allowed to meet here, that you blessed us all to come here as
we sung this evening. Oh, we've gathered here to pray
and sang, hopefully by the word of God, preach the gospel faithfully. But Lord, we pray now for our
dear brothers. Oh, our dear brothers. God bless
them. Oh, Lord, you know what they
need. You know the days, you know the
hours, you know the minutes, you know the desires of the heart,
you know the will. So, Lord, we commit them to you
and we pray for that family. Oh, Lord, please meet the needs. Your people are precious in your
sight. You said they were. You said
they were the apple of your eye. You said they were loved of you,
loved with an everlasting love. So Lord, I'm thankful that you
love your people and that one day we'll all get to go home,
but you take us one by one and we'll wait on you till that time.
We bless and praise you in Christ's name. Amen. Amen. M number 497. 497. When I can read my title clear
to mansions in the skies I'll bid farewell to every fear and
wipe my weeping eyes And wipe my weeping eyes. And wipe my weeping eyes. I'll bid farewell to it. Should every feeling wipe my
weeping eyes? Should earth against my soul
engage in fiery darts? And I can smile at Satan's rage
And face a frowning world And face a frowning world Face a
frowning world And I can't smile at Satan's rage and face a frowning
world When care's like a wild deluge comin' Storms of sorrow
flow May I but safely reach my home I've got my head and my
all I've got my head and my all God, my Him, my all May I burn
safely, reach my own God, my Him, my all Where shall I bathe my weary
soul? Seas of heavenly rest, And not
a wave of trouble roll Across my peaceful rest. They crossed my peaceful breast,
Across my peaceful breast, And caught a wave of trouble, Across
my peaceful breast. Well, I'm going to deal with
the Gospel of God. That's what it's called here
in verse 1. I'm going to deal with these
first four verses by God's will. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,
separated under the Gospel of God. He is separated from being
a Pharisee, and that's what Pharisee means, be separated ones. He
was separated from being a Pharisee, separated under the Gospel of
God. And that's what I want to talk about, the Gospel of God.
The Apostle leaves off himself and gets to his message, what
he wants to talk about. And he's the Apostle to the Gentiles.
Gentiles is just the opposite of what a Jew is. And so he's
the Apostle to the Gentiles, and it'd do us well to take heed
to his message, because he's writing to mostly Gentiles. But
he calls it the Gospel of God. That's what He calls it, the
Gospel of God. His message, His message is the Gospel of God
Almighty. And the word Gospel, everybody
knows, I believe they know, that it means good news. That's what
Gospel means, good news, good news. And oh, the Gospel is a
favored word of the Apostle Paul, and is what possessed him, and
he joyfully proclaimed the Gospel. And you know, He had the Gospel,
but also the Gospel had Him. And that's the difference, you
know, there's, you know, the Gospel. The Gospel has us, but
we have the Gospel, and the Gospel has us. And you know, it's always
good news, it's not good advice. We're not here to give good advice.
We're not here to tell folks how to live and how they're not
to live. We're here, as Paul did, to preach the Gospel. The
Gospel, the good news. And it's only good news to people
that has heard bad news. Old Scott used to say all the
time, Since I heard the good news, I haven't had any bad news.
And you know, I don't know how you could say that and be that
way, because you know, when he got later in years, he had colon
cancer and he had to wear a colostomy, and I went by to see him one
time just to show you how good news it was to him. He didn't
have no bad news. is that I go to visit him one
time and he s in a mess, I mean he hadn t been out of the hospital
very long, and he d jump up off that couch and he d go like this,
act like he s playing basketball all the time, shooting baskets,
you know, and he just barely could get off the couch. But
that s the way he was, he was a very unusual man, and that
s what Paul did, that gospel He has the gospel, but the gospel
has Him, and it's good news. Once you hear that good news,
oh my, and I tell you what blessed news it is. It's a faithful saying
worthy of all acceptation that Christ Jesus came into this world
to save sinners, sinners, and I know I'm one of them. God says
I am. My conscience says I am. The
way I live says I am. and how access I am. So I tell
you what, I'm grateful that God came to save sinners, and that's
good news for me. Well, I'm not here to give good
advice, and what His message was and is is for all of us.
He says it's good news from God, good news from God. Now, when
He talks about the good news from God, the gospel of God,
let me tell you something about the gospel of God. God's the
author of it, God's the author of it. hadn t been for God, there
d be no gospel, there d be no good news for anybody. He s the
author of it, and He s the only one that can interpret the gospel,
interpret the Word of God, interpret the gospel to us. And in the
gospel, all of His sovereign, sovereign perfections and He
s perfect in all of His attributes, in His sovereign perfections.
And I tell you what, and you know the thing about God s sovereignty,
anything about Him you can put wholly in front of every one
of His attributes, every single one of them, put wholly in front
of them. But I tell you something you
can t put in front of them, you can t put love in front of all
of them. You can t do that, can you? oh, no, you can put holy
in front of all of them. But oh, in the gospel, all of
His sovereign perfections are seen. I mean, you talking about
WISDOM? Oh, the wisdom of God, how He
made a way for God to be just, just, stay just and righteous
and holy, and yet come down here in the person of His blessed
Son, and provided us a sacrifice, one to put away our sin, and
when faith in Him, and He gives us faith to believe Him, and
then He justifies us. Now, you talk about the wisdom
of God. What about the power of God? Oh, the power of God
manifested in the gospel! The power of God manifests, it
s the dynamite of God, that God uses the POWER of God, and the
power of God in Christ in the gospel is what He uses to save
sinners. And I tell you, in the gospel,
you see all His purpose toward men. What purpose does God have
toward men? You won t know what it is unless
you know the gospel, unless you know the gospel. And it s called
the gospel. Paul says one of his favorite
words, Oh my, gospel of grace, gospel of peace, gospel of the
kingdom, gospel of our salvation, and John said, it s the everlasting
gospel. It s good news. Everybody here
that knows anything about it knows it s good news, good news,
and the good news of God, He s the subject of it. Now, I want
to show you something. You keep Romans and look with
me over in 1 Thessalonians chapter 2. 1 Thessalonians chapter 2. I want to show you something
over here. Paul, I said, it's one of his favorite words, his
gospel. In fact, he called it his gospel.
But here, and he mentions in four verses, in three different
verses, he mentions the gospel. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 2. And oh, it's good news. That's
what gospel means, good news. It's the good news of God. He
s the SUBJECT of it! Oh, my! And look what He said
here, I think it is in verse 2. He said, But even after that
we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as you know at Philippi, we were
bold of our God to speak unto you the gospel of God. Look down
in verse 4. But we were allowed of God to
be put in trust with the gospel. The gospel, even so we speak,
not as pleasing men, but God which tries our hearts. Look
down in verse eight. So being affectionately desirous
of us, we were willing to have imparted unto you not the gospel
of God only, but our own souls. So he mentions this in one chapter,
the gospel three times, the gospel three times. And I tell you,
if the gospel is not of God, it s not good news at all. If
the gospel is left up to a man s free will, there will be nobody
saved. Our Lord said, You WILL NOT come to Me that you might
have life. He says, No man can come unto
Me except My Father which has sent Me. And that s why if it
s left up to the will of man, left up to the POWER of man,
left up to the WILLINGNESS of man, left up to ANYTHING that
a man has to do, nobody d ever be saved. That s why it s called
the Gospel of God. Good news! Good news! And then
look what else it says over here in Romans. Let me go back over
there right quick. Look what else it said, And this
gospel had been promised. Look what he said, Which he had
promised. God had promised this gospel.
And you know when He says He promised us, that means it's
the ancient gospel. It's ancient. You know, it started
with God Almighty. It started in eternity. God says
it's the ancient gospel. The gospel's not new. It's not
a new thing. And it s no afterthought of God
Almighty or the Lord Jesus Christ to try to come up with a way
to save sinners. After Adam sinned in the garden,
well, what s God going to do? Well, I got to figure out a way
to save this man from his sin. No, no, God had a Savior before
He has everybody ever fell in the garden, before anybody ever
sinned. And I tell you what He said, It s promised, it s promised. God promised this gospel. He
promised He promised it to us. He promised it to Abraham. He
promised it to Enoch. He promised it to us, and all
the promises of God are in the Lord Jesus Christ. Look what
He says, and He did this before by His prophets in the Holy Scriptures. Paul said, That s not something
I invented. It comes from the Holy Scriptures.
The prophets were FULL, full of the promise of the Messiah,
of salvation by a substitute, of one who would satisfy God. You know, when we first started
learning the gospel, and this happened so many times over the
years, People say, where in the world did they come up with that?
They started their own, they come up with their own version. They come up with their own ideas.
Where'd they come up with that at? How'd they invent that? Where'd
that come from? But let me tell you, you know,
people ask all the time, what do you believe where you're at?
What do y'all believe? Just from now on, just tell them
this, said you're on Facebook, you're on YouTube, just go and
watch or go and listen. And that way you'll find out
exactly. But anyway, it's all the Old Testament's full of it.
Isaiah 53, Isaiah 53, He was wounded for our transgression,
bruised for our iniquity. Chastisement of our peace was
upon Him. His soul was made an offering for our sin. He justified
many. Oh, it pleased God to bruise
Him. And so on, and I mean, listen, and then Isaiah 52, how beautiful
on the mountain are the feet of them that bring glad tidings
of good things that publishes peace. Who was that that brought
good tidings? Christ our Lord. John said, behold,
the Lamb of God. Who was it that came with that
glad tidings of good things and saith unto us, thy God reigneth?
It was the Lord Jesus Christ. And keep Romans and look over
in Luke 24. Look in Luke 24. Go back to the
left and go to Luke 24. Look what our Lord taught His
disciples in Luke 24. The Old Testament, I'll tell
you something, it's not the history of the nation of Israel. It's
not that. It's not that at all. But is
God unfolding His redemptive purpose in Christ? Now, this
our Lord Jesus Christ speaking in verse 26 of Luke 24, Ought
not Christ, who hath suffered these things, and to enter into
his glory? After he said, All slow of heart
to believe all the prophets have spoken, and beginning at Moses.
The talk started with Moses. Genesis, that s where Moses started,
Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy,
and all the prophets. He expounded unto them in the
scriptures the things concerning Himself. Look what He said down in verse
44, And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto
you, while I was yet with you, that all things MUST be fulfilled
which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets,
and in the Psalms concerning me. And this is what has to happen."
Then He opened their understanding that they might understand the
Scriptures. Now, you know, I know you've heard this before. The
New Testament is in the Old Concealed And the Old Testament is in the
New Revealed, New Revealed. And like I told you before, there
s 62 Old Testament references to Old Testament Scriptures in
the book of Romans here. And I tell you what, it s just
a thing that our Lord Jesus Christ, to Him all the prophets give
witness. Then look at this glorious theme,
talking about the Gospel of God. Here s the theme of the Gospels.
CONCERNING HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. God said, I've got
a message for you, and it concerns my son. It concerns my son, Jesus
Christ our Lord, the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul goes here in the most simplistic
way. He brings before us seven aspects
of our blessed person and work of our Savior, the Lord Jesus
Christ. First of all, He calls Him the
Son, concerning His Son. When we talk about the Son of
God, we're talking about an ETERNAL Son. This is one of the mysteries,
and you know this, that Trinity's here, God the Father, God the
Son, and God the Holy Spirit. But here's the thing, this is
what's so hard to grasp, that Jesus Christ, who is the Son
of God, is as OLD and as ETERNAL as His Father is. And the way
His Father is, He became His God and His Father in the sense
that He was come and made of a woman, made under the law.
But our Lord Jesus Christ, everything God did, He did by His Son. And
He said, You know, concerning His Son, God's blessed Son, This
is the foundation that God laid for us to be established upon. In John 3.16, which most people
don't understand what it means, but it says, God so LOVED that
He gave, what did He give? His only begotten Son. He said, He spared not His Son,
but freely with Him give us all things. And God revealed Himself
in His Son, He spoke in His Son. No man has seen God at any time.
His only begotten Son hath revealed Him. Look in Hebrews 1. Look in Hebrews 1. Look over
here in Hebrews 1. This is what I'm talking about.
He spoke in His Son. Look what I said here in Hebrews
1, 1 and 2. You know, this is His Sonship,
this Gospel of God concerns His Son. God who at different times and
in different manners spake in time past unto the fathers by
the prophets. Listen to this, Hath in these
last days, and the last days started when Christ came, Hath
in these last days spoken unto us by Son. And listen to this,
He appointed her of all things by whom He also made the worlds.
So this gospel concerns His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And if
you take one iota away from Christ, just one iota, you'll miss Him. Take anything away from Christ
or add anything to it, then you miss Him. You'll miss Christ,
you'll miss Him. You can miss a lot of things
in this world, you can even miss your mind when it gets old enough,
but you can't miss Christ, don't do that. And then look what He
says about His Name, and it concerns His Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
His Name and His Title. You know when He called Him Jesus,
that s His name of His humanity. Jesus is also the word Joshua,
Old Testament word of Joshua, and Joshua means Jehovah our
Savior, and that s what Christ was, Jehovah our Savior. And
Jesus is His humanity, Joshua in His humanity. He is a man,
thou shalt call His name Jesus, and He shall save His people
from their sins. And oh my, then talking about
His office, He says Christ. We always call Him Christ now,
most of the time we do, the Lord Jesus Christ, but Christ was
His office. He was the Messiah. That was
an appointment. He was pointed out to be the
one. Christ means His office, and as Christ, He's the prophet,
priest, and king. He was the one that anointed
and was told that was going to come, but they gave Him the name
of Jesus. The angel said, Call His name
Jesus, Jehovah's Savior. Joshua, and oh my, so He s Christ,
that s His office, Jesus is His name, and then look what else
He s called, Christ our Lord. And that s one thing I love,
one thing I dearly love, I love the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
I love Him! You know, every one of you all
seen signs somewhere that goes up there, Make Jesus Lord, or
Jesus Lord over this town, or Jesus Lord over this state or
something. But let me tell you something, Christ was Lord before
He come into this world, and Lord means One who reigns! Got the authority, got the power! Oh my, this is His position in
all the universe! He s Lord over heaven! He s Lord
over earth! And oh, He's Lord over the dead
and He's Lord over the living. What does that mean? That's just
what it says. He's Lord over the dead. Whether you're dead
in trespasses and sins or whether you're one of the living, one
that He quickened and gave life to, He is Lord. And that's one
of the most blessed things. When you go through the Gospels,
when you go through the Gospels, well, how many times do you find
the first word out of people's mouth is Lord? people that approach
him. Talking about that woman the
other day with the daughter, the first thing she out of her
mouth would have said, Oh, Lord! Them leopards that came down
off the mountain, Lord! Blind Martimea said, Lord, thou
son of David! Lord! He s not pretending. He s not a pretender after the
throne. No, HE IS LORD, AND THERE CAN'T
BE ANYONE ANY HIGHER THAN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! NO ONE IN
THIS UNIVERSE IS HIGHER THAN CHRIST! NO ONE! THERE CAN BE NONE NO
HIGHER, AND GOD GAVE HIM A NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME! Every name. Oh my, none can be
no higher than Him. And then look at His humanity,
where He got His humanity from. And it says here in verse 3,
Concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the
seed of David according to the flesh. Now what in the world
does that mean, made of the seed of David according to the flesh? You know, Christ was an eternal
Son of God. And when He said He was made
of the seed of David, Mary was of the lineage of David, Joseph
was of the house of David, and God promised David over in Samuel,
He says, David, I m going to put a man on your throne, and
he shall reign forever and ever and ever. That s why when he
was born king of the Jews, that s why Herod said, Go find him
that s born king of the Jews. They understood that Christ,
when He come, He d be born a king, a direct descendant of David. And God said, I ll set a man
on the throne forever and ever. And that was what He come as
the seed of David, the rightful king over Israel. David was the
greatest king that ever lived, You know, the Jews right now,
you know what their flag says? You know what it s called? The
Star of David. Do you know that? That s what
their flag s called, The Star of David. They love David! And I tell you, listen, God said,
I ll turn back and I ll restore the tabernacle of David that
s fallen down. falling down. Oh, my! And I tell you what, He is made
of the seed of woman. He said that in Genesis 3, 15
and 16. If there had been a flaw, now
Jews, of course, they ve lost all their genealogy now, but
when you go to the Old Testament and Luke and Matthew both has
got the genealogy from Adam, and then it's got the genealogy
from Christ, got the genealogy from Abraham, and they go through
all the genealogy to show where Jesus Christ come from. His whole
genealogy. That's the only reason they have
genealogy in the Bible. And I tell you what, if there
would have been a flaw in the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Jews would have found it and would have pointed it out.
But oh, no, he was made of the seed of David. Here is David's
son. You remember when our Lord asked
those disciples and said, Who is the Son? Who is Christ? Who is the Son of Christ? They
said, Well, he's the seed of David. And our Lord asked him,
said, How then doeth David call him Lord and be his son? Oh my! Our Lord Jesus Christ is a true
man after God's own heart. And then look what else it says
now in verse 4. Declared to be the Son of God
with power. Oh, declared to be the Son of
God with power. He was made in the seat of David
according to the flesh, but the Son of God by power. Oh, the
flesh Oh, he was already the Son of God before he came into
the world, and he was proved to be designated, ordained, pointed
out, declared to be the Son of God with power. How much power
did our Lord manifest in his life? Lazarus come forth, and
he that was dead came forth. The lepers come to him, and he
cleansed them. So all the power, he still storms and calms the
seas, all the power that manifested in our Lord Jesus Christ, fed
a multitude with two fish and five loaves of bread, said over
five thousand people, and all declared to be the Son of God
with power. Oh my, God's power is declared
and shown in the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh listen, it says, Thou shalt
call His name unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.
Thou shalt call His name Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the
Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. And then look by His
resurrection, according to the Spirit of Holiness." Oh, the
Spirit of Holiness was in Him by the resurrection from the
dead. You know, This is one, there's a fella
running around all over the, over at the gym today, there's
a fella running around everything. He's, he's, he's really, really,
really, really got a lot of religion. He is running around everybody,
everywhere today saying, he has risen! He has risen! He has risen! I should have said, well, he
did that 2,000 years ago. I hope you don't expect it to
happen suddenly. But you know, they do that. They
make this special day, this special day. And what's special about
the resurrection of Christ when they use bunnies, chocolate bunnies,
marshmallow bunnies? Easter egg, colored Easter eggs,
baskets, you know, I don t understand it, you know, but they do that!
He s Risen! Listen, He resurrected 2,000
years ago, and our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said, Now there
s three people that raised Him from the dead. Now listen to
what I m telling First of all, our Lord Jesus Christ, He says,
No man takes my life from me, I lay it down of myself. And
He said, This commandment have I received of my Father, that
I have the power to lay it down, and He said, I've got the power
to take it back up again. And then it talks about God the
Father raised Him from the dead. And then it talks about the Spirit
of holiness resurrected Him. Now, what does that mean? That
means that the Godhead was involved in it. God Christ raised Himself
from the dead to show that He's got the power, declared to be
the Son of God with power. God the Father raised Him up
to say, I'm satisfied with Him. Everything He did, I'm satisfied. What He did, I'm satisfied with
His life, satisfied with His sacrifice, satisfied with His
obedience, I'm satisfied with everything He did, and everybody
that believes in Him, I'll be satisfied with them. He saw the
travail of His soul and was satisfied, satisfied. And oh my! And I tell you what, He had all
power, and by the power of His resurrection, proved that He
was virgin-born, He was sinless, And I tell you what, because
HE WAS RAISED, HE WAS RAISED, you know what that guarantees?
OUR RESURRECTION TOO! That guarantees it! If HE WAS
RAISED FROM THE DEAD, you know what HE TOLD US? HE SAID, I'LL
RAISE YOU AND BRING YOU UP TO WHERE I AM! OH MY! And I tell you, this shows us
our Lord's spiritual nature and fleshly nature all together in
that one blessed person. And then let me wind up with
this. I hope I haven't taken too long. That resurrection,
oh, proof, proof, proof. You know, those Jews, the disciples
was hid in the upper room, afraid that the Jews was going to come
and kill them after Christ had died. And they were sitting there
and our Lord Jesus Christ just walked up in the midst of them.
And you know what the first thing he told them? First thing he
told them after his resurrection, when he appeared to them, first
thing he said, peace be unto thee. They didn't think, they thought
this is all over. But the first thing he got, he
got in there and said, peace be unto you. You reckon their
hearts just went, shh, just calm right down. And oh my, God accepted
his work, God accepted his person, God accepted his resurrection
as proof. Men aren't dealing, men aren't
dealing with a lowly Nazarene. No, no. They're not dealing with
a lowly Nazarene named Jesus, but with the Son of God who lived,
who died, and was raised from the dead, and right now sits
at the right hand of the Majesty on high with all power vested
in Him for time and eternity. Oh my! This is the Gospel of
God. This is our hope. Our hope rests
upon this blessed person. Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
the Lord Jesus Christ, who was raised from the dead. This is
our blessed hope. Oh, and then it says there in
verse 5, everything, all things are by and because of Him, our
Lord, by whom we receive grace. It's a gift, we receive it. And
then look in verse 6, called of Christ Jesus, chosen of Christ,
called of Christ, set apart by Christ. Lord Jesus, our blessed master,
oh, our Lord, our savior, our great and glorious God, your
God over all, bless forever. Thank you for another blessed
opportunity, privilege, privilege to preach the gospel, to deal
with our Lord Jesus. And Lord, I pray that you would
make this be a blessing tonight. you make the word to find a lodging
place in hearts and minds and understanding. I come here hoping
by your grace to edify, to build up and establish your saints
in the things of Christ and the things of God and in their most
holy faith. So Lord, cause the word to go
forth, cause it to be fruitful and effectual as only you can
do. meet the needs of these dear
people as they go their way. Again, we pray for our two dear
brethren, our brothers and sisters who are having troubles in their
bodies, troubles in their minds, troubles in their soul. Please
be merciful, be gracious, and uphold them for Christ's sake.
Amen. Amen. I think it's 305. I think it's what I'm looking
for. Does that Jesus Savior pilot me? Is that right? I think that's right. If it is,
then we'll sing this and you'll be at liberty to go. Yeah, 303, 303. 303. 303. 303. About to get it too high again.
That's what happened last time, I forgot to take my capo off.
? Jesus, Savior, by that means Life's tempestuous sea Undone
waves before me roll Hiding rocks and treacherous shore Jardine
coffins come from me Jesus, Savior, pilot me As a
mother steals her child Thou canst touch the ocean wild ? Boisterous waves obey thy will
? ? With thou sister in thee still ? ? Wondrous Sovereign
of the sea ? ? Jesus, Savior by thee be ? When at last I hear
the shore And the fearful breakers roar Quicksly end the peaceful
rest Then while leaning on See you Sunday, God willing. Oh, they said we're going to
have lunch here Sunday instead of the first Sunday of the month.
That's going to be this Sunday. Well, you better tell folks. Well, we're going to eat the
last Sunday of the month to the first this time.
