Before anything was created, before the beginning, before there even was a beginning, there was God! Doesn't that blow your mind?

Even with that said, it does not express the complete truth, for there never was a 'was' with Him. It was just Him.

God had no beginning; He just was.

"Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen" -1 Timothy 1:17

This past Sunday, Pastor Kent W. Clark returned from his vacation with an incredible, thought provoking, sermon!

How can there be a being without a beginning? That is the great mystery!

Here's a highlight from our Sunday service!

Before anything was created,
there was God. Doesn't that blow your mind?
Well, how can that be? I don't know. I just know that's
true. Before anything that was created,
there was God. And even with that said, I wrote
this week, it does not express the complete truth For there
never was a was with him. There was just him. That kind of have your head spinning?
It was just him. In other words, he had no beginning. He was. Paul expressed it this
way in 1 Timothy 1.17. He said, now unto Him the King
Eternal. Eternal? He is the King Eternal? Immortal? Undying. Invisible? We have an invisible God. The only wise God. Unto him be
honor and glory forever and ever, amen. The infinite spirit, the
omnipresent one. You say, well, Pastor, the Bible
says, you know, that God has a voice, that God has feelings. I looked up this big word, not
to impress you, but to kind of get across this truth, anthropomorphism. Anthropomism. It means a way
of speaking where we can understand somewhat. So the Bible might say something
like this, God spoke. Does God have a voice? I don't
know, God's spirit. But there are things in scripture
said of God that are simply said so we can kind of get a grasp
on this. because it's such a mystery when
you think, you say, well now pastor, you don't know what you're
talking about. I know. Because it's a mystery. I really
don't. I've been thinking about this
for 10 days and I'm no further ahead than I was 10 days ago.
I'm totally lost in the wonder, God is spirit. So before anything
was created, Before the beginning. No, I mean before there was a beginning. God, how can there be a being
without beginning? There is. In fact, Jesus said this, before
Abraham was, I am. I am. The great I am. Not I was, not
I used to be, not I will be. Someday, I am. I just am. It's a mystery, isn't it?
