Sure am thankful for that, aren't
you? I saw Digna this afternoon. They're
moving her. They were getting ready to move
her back to the rehab center where she was before she went
back in the hospital, so just across 50. If you want to go
see her, she should be there by now. I'd like for us to read from
Psalm 62. Psalm 62. Joe and Delphus were
supposed to be here, but they got caught in traffic, so they
may still walk in. They're going to Mexico with
us. We'll be leaving in the morning and flying through Miami. Our flight leaves Miami at 11.01
and arrives in Cancun at 11 o'clock. So we're going to get there a
minute before we leave. I told Trish I wasn't sure if I
wanted to get on that plane, but I sure would like to watch
it take off. So Lord willing, we'll be having
services tomorrow night in Cancun, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and
Monday in the Pueblos. Next Wednesday night, Hugo will
lead the services here. And next Sunday, Michael and
Robert Horton will be preaching for you next Sunday. And then
we'll be back, this coming Sunday. I kind of phrased that worse,
this coming Sunday. And then next Wednesday, Hugo
will be preaching a week from today. And we'll be back before
the following Sunday, Lord willing. All right, you have your Bibles
open to Isaiah 62. For Zion's sake will I not hold
my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake will I not rest, until the
righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation
thereof as a lamp that burneth. I sure am thankful that that
is the heart of the Lord Jesus Christ. For Zion's sake, for
Jerusalem's sake I'll not rest. And the Gentiles shall see thy
righteousness, and all kings thy glory, and thou shalt be
called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
And thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the land of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. For thou shalt no
more be termed forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed
desolate, but thou shalt be called Hephzibah. her delight is in
her. And thy land, Beulah, married. For the Lord delighteth in thee,
and thy land shall be married. For as a young man marrieth a
virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee, and as the bridegroom rejoiceth
over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. I have set watchmen upon thy
walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace, day nor
night. Ye that make mention of the Lord,
keep not silent, and give him no rest till he establish, until
he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth." And when that's going
to be, when the cities be desolate and the land be uninhabited,
that's when the Lord will make his church the praise of the
earth. And the Lord hath sworn by his right hand and by the
arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat
for thine enemies. And the sons of the stranger
shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast labored.
But they that have gathered it shall eat it in the praise of
the Lord. And they that have brought it together shall drink
it in the courts of my holiness. Let's pray together. Our merciful Heavenly Father,
we thank Thee for having taken a nation that knew Thee not,
and made Yourself not only known to them, but redeemed them and
married them to Thy dear Son. We come before your throne of
grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we thank thee
for the promises of your presence to Zion, to Jerusalem. And we ask, Father, that you'd
be pleased now to send your Holy Spirit to open that which no
man can shut, to shut that which no man can open. We pray you'd
bless your word to our hearts. We pray that you would enable
us. to put aside all those things that so easily distract us and
set our affections on Christ. We pray for the ministry of thy
word in Mexico, and we ask, Lord, that you would cause it to go
forth with power and that you would accomplish what you've
purposed it to do. We pray for Hugo and for Michael
and Robert as they preach here, and for the fellowship of the
saints here. We pray, Lord, that you would
continue to grow us together in thy grace. We pray for Digna. Thank thee, Father, for her.
Pray for your hand of healing to be upon her body, and we thank
you for the spirit of grace that you've put in her heart. and
Lord for the encouragement that she is to us. We pray in Christ's
name, Amen. Have you ever been in dispute
with someone that you were trying to conduct business with only
to have them respond to your objections with, well, that's
just not possible. You knew it was possible, you
just needed to go further up the food chain, and so you ask
for the supervisor. And the supervisor gets on the
phone and says, no, that's just not possible. And so you keep
going up the chain of command until you get to the owner of
the company, and the owner of the company says, that's not
possible. And so you say, well, I'll just take you to court.
And the judge says, that's not possible. And so you insist on
your rights and take it all the way to the Supreme Court. And
the Supreme Court issues its verdict. It's not possible. You've come to the end of the
line. You can't go any higher. Now, we're going to cut through
all of that. and find out what God says is not possible. Because there's no higher court,
there's no higher authority. If God says it's not possible,
then it's just not possible. There are eight things I want
us to see from God's word where he says some things are just
not possible. Not by man, anyway. not by man. The first one you'll find in
Luke chapter 1. Will you turn with me there in your Bibles
to Luke chapter 1. These impossibilities, if the
Lord gives us grace to understand what He has said about that which
is impossible to man, it will be to the salvation of our souls.
That's my interest. I'm not interested in entertaining
you with knowledge. I'm not interested in giving
you information. I'm interested in a message from
God that will save our souls. And what God says about what's
possible and what's impossible has to do with the gospel of
His free grace. The first thing we find in Luke
chapter 1 at verse 30. And the angel said unto her,
fear not Mary, for thou hast found favor with God. Mary, you've
found grace in the eyes of the Lord. The Lord has chosen you. Wasn't anything particularly
special about Mary other than the fact that God chose her.
Same as Noah, finding grace in the eyes of the Lord. Same as
you. Same as me. The Lord chooses certain individuals
according to his own purpose and will. That's what grace is. And he made that choice before
time ever began. If that's not the case, then
God's left out of the equation and it's not grace, it's works. So the Lord had chosen Mary and
he said, you found grace in my eyes. And behold, thou shalt,
verse 31, receive, conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son,
and shall call his name Jesus. Jehovah saves. Salvations of
the Lord. That's what his name's going
to be. And the name, oh, it's just so full of grace, isn't
it? So full of power. So full of
truth. People throw the name of Jesus
around as if it was just a common name. No, no, it's Joshua. He's the one that takes us across
the Jordan. He's the one that brings us into
the promised land. He's the one that makes the promises
of God for the salvation of our souls fulfilled. That's what
his name's going to be. And he shall be great. Oh, he's great. He's sitting on the highest throne
there is, isn't he? "...and shall be called the Son
of the Highest." Oh, the wisdom of man is foolishness in the
sight of God. The high courts of man, the Supreme
Court? No. No authority. No power. Here's the one who makes all
the decisions. And the Lord God shall give unto
him the throne of his father David, and he shall reign, reign
over the house of Jacob." Aren't you glad that the Lord calls
us the children of the sons of Jacob sometimes? He calls us
the house of Israel sometimes, the prince, the chosen ones,
and then he calls us Jacob to remind us that we have two natures.
And that we are, just like our brother Jacob, supplanters, deceivers,
liars in the flesh. And the Lord's gonna reign sovereign
over the house of Jacob. Jacob I've loved, Esau I have
hated. How long's he gonna reign? Forever.
And there shall be no end. And then said Mary unto the angel,
how shall this be, seeing I know not a man? How is this possible? We're talking about that which
is impossible with man. And my first point is that with
man, it is impossible for a man to be God. That's my point. That's my first point. It's impossible
for a man to be God. You say, well, who's trying to
be God? Not too many people have a God
complex. Everybody's got one. Everybody's got one. You come
into this world with a God complex. You come into this world believing
that you have the power to save yourself. You come into this
world believing that your free will is sovereign and that you
can determine the destiny of your soul by what you do and
by what you decide. You come into this world as the
captain of your own ship and the master of your own destiny. That's how we are. That's man
setting himself up, 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, on the throne of God.
And God will send that man a strong delusion so that he believes
that lie. He believes that he's God. He
believes that he's got the capacity to determine the outcome of his
life and of his soul. Man has set himself up to be
God. With God, with man, it is impossible
for a man to be God. What does Mary say? How can it
be? How is it possible, seeing that
I know not a man? And the angel answered and said
unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power
of the highest shall overshadow thee. Therefore also that holy
thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son
of God, a body thou hast prepared for me." He's going to come in
the likeness of sinful flesh. What's impossible with man is
possible with God. God's going to be made flesh. He's going to take on the body
of the last Adam and he's going to do for us what our first Adam
couldn't do. And he's going to bear in that
body the sins of his people and suffer the wrath of God to put
away our sins. He's going to be God's perfect
man. There's only one God-man. There's only one man who's able
to be God and it's by this glorious miracle of the virgin birth. Look at verse 36, And behold,
thy cousin Elizabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old
age, and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
For with God nothing shall be impossible. Oh, it's impossible
with man to be God, but it's not impossible with God to be
man. And that's what he did. That's what he did. He's the
Son of God. He's also called the Son of Man.
And apart from the incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ coming
into this world and bearing our burden in His body, there would
be no hope of salvation. So, the first point is that it's
impossible for you and I to be God. But with God, nothing's impossible.
And he became man in order that we might in him become like God. God made him who knew no sin
to be sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in him. It's impossible with man, but
it is possible with God. The second impossibility is found
in Matthew chapter 19. You know the story. The rich
young ruler comes to the Lord Jesus Christ and he says, good
master, what good thing can I do to inherit eternal life? And
the Lord Jesus Christ looks at him and he says, why callest
thou me good? For you know there's none good but God. The Lord was
The Lord was revealing himself to this rich young ruler as deity,
as the God-man. And he goes on to say, he said,
you know the law? And the rich young ruler said,
which one? Which one? Which law? And if
you read that in Matthew chapter 19, the Lord just deals with
the second half of the Decalogue. He deals with those laws relating
to man. He doesn't deal with the first
four commandments, the honoring God. He doesn't deal with any
of those things. He just goes right into honoring
thy father and thy mother, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not
bear false witness, thou shalt not commit adultery. He goes
right through those laws relating to man. And what do the rich
young rulers say? I've done these things for my youth. I've done
these things from my youth. And the Lord said, one thing
thou lackest, sell all that you have. The scripture says he was
very rich. But his wealth, the problem with
his wealth didn't have to do with money. The problem with
his wealth had to do with the wealth of his righteousness.
That was the problem that he had. And he went away sad, you
remember? And the Lord turned to the disciples
and he said, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye
of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
And the disciples were perplexed. They said, Lord, who then can
be saved? Who then can be saved? And remember
what the Lord Jesus said? He said this in Matthew chapter
19 verse 26, with man it is impossible. But with God, all things are
possible. God can get a camel through the
eye of a needle. And that's what he's going to
have to do to save you. That's what he's going to have
to do to save me. To take this stinking camel and get it through
the eye of a needle, it's going to take a miracle of grace. to break us of the riches of
our own righteousness. It's going to take a miracle
of grace to make us to be sinners. It's going to take a miracle
of grace to bring us to the place to where we have no righteousness
before God. I know you've heard me say this,
I'm going to say it again. You go down to the prison, I
don't know, I can't remember where I say things, but you go
down to the prison and you find the most profane, godless, hardened
criminal that you can find. I mean the guy that just has
no interest in the things of God. You talk to him long enough,
I guarantee you he's going to have righteousness. He's gonna
have a righteousness. There's something he hadn't done.
There's someone that's worse than he is. You just talk to
him long enough. Only believers have no righteousness. Only the children of God have
been stripped of all their righteousness. They've sold all their wealth. They've given it to the poor.
They're following after Christ. They did what this rich young
ruler couldn't do. He went away sad. With man, it is impossible. But with God, if you're going
to become a sinner, if you're going to become poor in spirit. Isn't that the first of the Beatitudes
in Matthew chapter 5? Blessed are the what? The poverty-stricken. Blessed
are those who are in abject poverty. Blessed are those who have nothing,
can do nothing and know nothing, completely dependent upon the
Lord God for all their righteousness. They're the ones that have been
blessed. That's a miracle of grace, isn't it? With man, it's
impossible. Impossible. You can't make yourself
a sinner. Nobody else can make you a sinner.
God's gotta do it. Lord, would you get me through
the eye of that needle? Would you make me to be a sinner?
So that I can say with King David, I will speak of thy righteousness,
even of thine only. Would you cause me to believe
that all my righteousnesses are as filthy rags before thee? There's no hope of salvation
apart from that. It's impossible with man for a man to be God. It's impossible with man. to be saved by the righteousness
of the Lord Jesus Christ. He'll go away sad every time.
It's just not possible. Thirdly, turn with me to Hebrews
chapter 6. Now Hebrews chapter 10 speaks of those who make professions of faith and
then turn away. They forsake the assembling of
themselves together and they prove themselves to be apostate. They prove themselves to have
always been reprobate. It was a false profession. But Hebrews chapter 6 isn't talking
about that. Hebrews chapter 6, Paul, you
remember, begins this chapter by telling them, you know, if
you have to lay the foundation over and over again, you have
to prove the truths of the gospel to a person, it's because they're
being silly. It's because they're tossed about. They're children. They're weak.
And they ought to be teachers, but they're still having to be
taught. That's how he starts out, chapter 6. And then in verse
3, he says, and this will we do, if God permit. If you're
a believer, you're going to be settled on these ABCs of the
gospel, the doctrine of baptisms and the laying on of hands and
all the things that are repentance from dead works and faith towards
God. And these things will be settled in your heart by the
spirit of God, if you're a child of God. For it is impossible. You see that in verse four? Now
here's my third point. It's impossible to fall away. It's impossible to fall away.
It's impossible. You can't. If the Lord has done
for you what he did with that man that had the dropsy, you
remember what he did? He took hold of him, he healed
him, and he let him go. And if he's done that for you,
you're not gonna fall away. It doesn't mean we sang in the
hymn before the service, you know, Lord, how prone we are
to wander away from the Lord and how easy it is for us to
stumble and fall, but we can't fall away. Why? Because He'll
keep you from falling. He presents you faultless before
His throne of grace with much joy. And He's just not going
to let His children fall away. He's not going to do it. Any
more than you would let your child, if you could stop them
from running out into traffic, you're just not going to do it. It's impossible for those who
were once enlightened and have tasted the heavenly gift and
were made partakers of the Holy Ghost and tasted the good word
of God and the powers of the world to come. This is the believer's
experience. We've received the Holy Spirit.
We've tasted the gospel. We've had our understanding enlightened. We've been given faith. If they
shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance? See, he's
making this impossible scenario. It's impossible for them to fall
away, is what he's saying. It's impossible. It just can't
happen. That's my hope. If the God-man has presented
himself before God as my righteousness and revealed to me that I have
no righteousness, he's done those impossibilities for me, and he's
going to keep me from falling. It's impossible that they should
fall away. See, and they crucify to themselves
the Son of God afresh and put Him to open shame. They can't
do that. They can't do that. Now, if you
want to see an apostate, go to Hebrews chapter 10. But for right
now, we're right here. And the only thing he's saying
here is it's impossible to fall away. For the earth which drinketh
in the rain, that cometh upon it, and bringeth forth herb,
meat for them whom it is dressed, receiveth the blessings from
God. That's the believer. God's opened the windows of heaven,
he's poured out the truth of his gospel, and the herbs and
the spices of his grace have begun to grow and flourish in
the hearts of God's people. But that which bare thorns and
briars is reprobate, rejected, is nigh unto cursing, whose end
is to be burned. But beloved, we're persuaded
of better things of you. It's impossible for you to fall
away. The point is that he was dealing
with this church as if we've got to try to keep these believers. If a person falls away or gets involved in
something, I know, if I thought that I had to somehow recover
them, that it was my responsibility to make sure they stayed in the
church. I couldn't bear that. I pray for them, I preach to
them, I do what I can to encourage them, but I know that if they're
the Lord's, they're not going to fall away. Why? Because it's impossible. The Lord said there, well, what
about, can a believer be deceived? Well, the Lord said there, false
prophets, many false prophets shall come into the world and
would deceive even the elect if it were possible. It's not
possible. Oh, the elect might get distracted.
He may stumble up. He may get confused, but he's
not going to be led into error. It's not possible. Not possible. You're there in Hebrews chapter
6, look at verse 18. So it's not possible with man
for a man to be God, though he tries. It's not possible for
a man to save himself. It's not possible to fall away.
And look at verse 18 of Hebrews chapter Hebrews chapter 6 well
let's look at verse 17 wherein God willing more abundantly to
show unto the heirs of his promise the immutability of his counsel
can't change the counsel of God cannot change it is immutable
and we use that word to describe things well that's immutable
but in fact the only thing that's immutable is God everything else
mutates everything else changes Everything else goes from order
to disorder. Your body's changing. Your mind
changes. This building's changing. Rocks
change. Everything's changing. God's
the only thing that is immutable. He never changes. And that's
our hope, isn't it? He said, I change not. And that's the only reason you
sons of Jacob aren't consumed. I've established a covenant of
grace from eternity past. I've slain my son as the lamb
before the foundation of the world. I gave him as a sacrifice
on Calvary's cross. My promise and my oath confirm
it." God made Abraham a promise. Way back there in Genesis, didn't
he? Genesis chapter 12 made Abraham a promise and then he had Abraham
take some animals. and cut the animals, remember?
And put them on the side and put Abraham into a deep dream
and the fiery smoke went between the animals. And I was taught
years ago that what God was saying to Abraham is that if I don't
keep my promise, that's what's gonna happen to me. But that's
not what that was saying at all. God was confirming his promise
with an oath. by two immutable things, which
it is, look at verse 19, verse 18, that by two immutable things
in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong
consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope
that is set before us, which hope we have as an anchor of
the soul, most sure and steadfast, which entereth in within the
veil, whether the forerunner for us is entered even Jesus
made a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Here's
my hope, here's my consolation, here's the assurance of my salvation.
Not an experience that I had, not a feeling that I have, not
evidences of a Christian life that I'm walking. That's not
the assurance of my salvation. The assurance of my salvation
is made in the two immutable things by which it is impossible
for God to lie. Number one, his promise. Number
two, the sacrifice of his dear son. He confirmed his promise
with an oath. The oath with the shedding of
the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross. You think
it's impossible for God? to go back on that? It's not
possible. It's just not possible. It's
not possible for a man to be God. Not with man. It's not possible
with man to save himself. It's not possible to fall away.
It is not possible for God to lie. And fourthly, fifthly, it
is not possible without God to overcome evil. It's not possible. Have you learned
that about yourself yet? Have you learned that you need
to pray for the Lord to lead you not into temptation because
you know that if you're tempted you're going to sin? Have you
learned that you don't have the willpower to resist the evil
of this world. You don't have the ability to
stand up against that roaring lion that's seeking whom he may
devour. You just, you don't have it.
Matthew chapter 17, the disciples, a man brought his son to the
disciples who was vexed with a demon. And the man said, The
demons often throw him into the fire, throw him into the water,
and the disciples weren't able to heal him. They weren't able
to cast out the demon, and so the man brought his son to the
Lord. And the Lord cast him out, delivered the poor child from
this possession of Satan. And the disciples said, Lord,
why couldn't we do that? And he said, you're a wicked
and perverse generation. That's why. Because you don't
have faith. Faith. But this kind comes out only
by faith and prayer and fasting. This is looking to Christ. You
can't overcome this power of evil that's in the world. And we're not talking about exercising
demons and we're not talking about possession versus obsession
or whatever they say about demonic influence. You know, you know
in your own experience, don't you? That there are evil influences
in this world. And the Lord said to the disciples,
it's not possible for you to be able to cast them out. without
faith. And that faith is going to come
to you through prayer and fasting. That's what the Lord said. Someone
asked me recently about fasting and I said, well, if you hear
somebody preaching on fasting, that's, you know, that's The
Lord said if you fast, you don't let anybody know you're doing
it, you wash your face, and you know. But it's so much more than
just abstaining from food. The belly is the picture of the
flesh, and it's buffeting the body. It's avoiding those things. It's keeping oneself unspotted
from the world, as James put it. It's knowing the weaknesses
of your flesh and avoiding those opportunities of feeding your
flesh. with those things that would
cause you that. That's the only way to resist evil. And that's
through faith and through prayer. Those are the means that the
Lord gives us. It's impossible to do it by yourself.
We're not talking about pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps
and being committed. We're talking about crying out
to God in prayer. It's impossible. to overcome
evil in the power of the flesh. Fifthly, Hebrews chapter 11, faith is
the substance of things hoped for. It is the evidence of things
not seen. By it, the elders obtained a
good report. And by it, you know, it starts
out with Enoch and Adam. Adam and Enoch and Abraham and
all these believers in the old covenant that believed God and
it was counted unto them for righteousness. And then in verse
4 it says, for without faith it is, what? It's what? It's impossible to please God. For they that cometh to him must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him." Oh, Lord. That's the kind of faith I want. The Lord in another place said,
He said, It is impossible that offenses won't come. In other
words, we're going to offend one another. And it's impossible
that offenses won't come. But if your brother offends you,
and if he trespasses against you seven times in a day and
seven times in a day he asked you to forgive him, you forgive
him. You remember what the apostles said? Oh Lord, increase our faith. We don't know if we can do that.
Increase our faith. Lord, give us faith. If we're
gonna believe God, if we're going to believe that he is and that
he is the rewarder, if we're gonna trust Christ, the Lord's
gonna have to, we can't, We can't just stir that up, can we? These things are impossible with
men. This is what God says is impossible
for you and for me. And what's impossible for us
is possible with God. Mark chapter 14. The Lord is
in the garden of Gethsemane. There's something very, very
holy and very mysterious that's taking place in the garden. Something
beyond our experience. The Lord Jesus Christ is taking
on the burden of the sins of His people. He's beginning to
drink from the bitter dregs of the cup of God's wrath. He's
sweating drops of blood he's crying out in agony to the father
and he says father if it be what possible let this cup pass from
me nevertheless not my will but thine be done do you suppose
that if there was any any possible way that God could have saved
his people apart from the sacrifice of his own dear son that he would
have done it? Not possible. Without the shedding
of blood, there's no remission of sin. It's not possible. It's impossible for you and I
to be saved apart from the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Apart from him burying our sin and suffering the wrath of God
on Calvary's cross, it's impossible to be saved. You can't be saved
apart from Christ. The Lord said, if it be possible,
Father. You know that God would have
delivered him if it were possible. But it wasn't. It wasn't. With man, it's impossible for
a man to be God. It's impossible for us to save
ourselves. It's impossible to fall away.
It's impossible for God to lie. It's impossible for you and I,
in the strength of our flesh, to overcome evil. We can't do
it. It's impossible for God to be
pleased with you or me without faith. He's pleased with Christ. And faith is our reliance upon
the Lord Jesus Christ. It's our trusting Him. It's our
looking to Him. God's not going to be pleased
with you apart from Him. He's not going to be pleased with
me apart from Him. It's impossible to be saved apart from the shed
blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And finally, in Acts chapter
2, The Lord Jesus Christ, Peter's preaching there in Acts chapter
2 and he speaks, let's just turn there, we'll close with this
passage. Look at verse 23, Acts chapter
2. Him being delivered by the determined
counsel and foreknowledge of God. Oh, it was determined by God
before time ever began. before the foundation of the
world. He's the Lamb that was slain. It was determined by God,
determinate counsel. It can't be changed. That's set. Matter of fact, everything that
happens in time was already set in eternity. But here, the sacrifice
of the Lord Jesus Christ is declared as something that was set. Yet,
you have by your wicked hands crucified Him. The fact that
God said it doesn't relieve us of our responsibility. Don't become a fatalist on the
sovereignty of God. Don't say, well, you know, God
said it and nothing else matters. There are people that go to that.
Scripture doesn't teach that. Verse 24, Whom God hath raised
up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible
that he should be holden of it. It was not possible for the Lord
Jesus Christ to stay in the grave. It wasn't possible. He could
not. The Father could not allow His
Holy One to see corruption. He had to raise Him from the
dead. Why? Because He accomplished everything
He set out to do. And the Father was completely
satisfied with Him. And His resurrection is the reward
and the evidence to us that God is pleased. And He's the firstborn
among many brethren. And so those who find the possibilities
of God and their own personal impossibilities to be consistent
with what God has said, our hope is that the grave won't hold
us either. It won't hold us. It's just not going to hold us.
Oh, death, where is thy victory? Oh, grave, where is thy victory?
Death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin. Sin's
been put away. Christ is risen. It wasn't possible
for Him to stay in the grave. And it won't be possible for
those who are in Him to either. Now you may get in another dispute
with someone you're in business with. I suspect that'll happen.
Whether it be over the phone or in person. And you may have
to argue with someone who says to you that's not possible. But
I hope that when the Supreme Court issues its verdict that
you'll be settled with what God says is possible and what God
says is impossible. Don't argue. Don't argue. Let's pray. Our Heavenly Father,
we thank Thee for Thy Word. Lord, with Thee, all things are
possible. Give us grace to believe what
You have said. We ask it in Christ's name. Amen. 114 in the Saltback Tenement.
Let's stand together. Okay.
