Thank you, Gabe. I go back to Luke chapter 10
with me. The last few verses of Luke chapter
10, the story of two sisters, a familiar story to most everybody in here, two sisters. They're both believers. They
both are known, or rather known, by the Lord, loved by him, and
they love him. One of them, Martha, is busy
serving, waiting on tables, which is a good thing. A good thing
unless it prevents us from worship, from the one thing needful. The
other sister, Mary, she laid aside everything else in order
to sit and hear the Lord Jesus Christ's blessed Word, which
he said in verse 42, is the one thing needful. One thing needful. Preachers are bad about about dealing with the first
couple of verses and getting hung up there and not having
to rush through the end of it. So, I'm going to deal with the
last verse first. So that we will be sure to know
that there is one thing needful. Needful. Many things we want,
but one thing is needful. Many things we justify doing. Many things must be done, I suppose,
but the Lord said there is one thing needful. We need to know the Lord Jesus
Christ, whom to know is to have eternal life. Everything in this
world will pass and is rapidly passing away. But to know Christ is to have
eternal life. We need Christ. We need to know
Him. We need His blood as payment for our sins. We need
His righteousness. We need His salvation. We need
to know Christ. And you only know Him by hearing
His Word. We need to grow in grace and in the knowledge of
Christ. And you only grow by the sincere
milk of the Word, by hearing His Word. So this, our Lord was
talking about hearing the Word. He said this is the one thing
needful, because everything is found here at Christ's feet,
hearing His Word. We need mercy. We're sinners. We need grace. We need forgiveness
of sins. We need peace. and a world full
of trouble. We need comfort. We need assurance. This only comes by His Word. This is the one thing we need.
We need wisdom from above. We need discretion. We need wisdom. Scripture says, remember that?
With all you're getting, get wisdom. And it comes only with
the wisdom from God. It comes from God and it comes
through His Word. It doesn't come in a vision,
in a dream. It doesn't just suddenly come
to us. It pleased God by the foolishness
of preaching to save them to believe. And Peter said, we preach
the Word of God, the Gospel, which is the power of God. We
need guidance. We need to be led. We need to
know what to do, when to do it, how to do it. We need to be taught. It only comes by hearing His
Word. We're talking about a life of
faith. We walk by faith, not sight. We need faith. Where does faith come from? Faith
cometh by hearing. and hearing by the Word of God. All things. We need His Holy
Spirit to lead us and guide us and restrain us and keep us and
protect us. What does the Holy Spirit do?
How does He do that? Through the Word. This, what
we're doing, is the one thing we need. If Christ is present,
and He said He is, every time two or three are in His name,
We come, we literally sit at His feet, the church is His lower
parts, His feet, to hear Jesus Christ speak to us and reveal
Himself. It's the one thing that, one
thing that, He's the one thing that, one thing. We have two material things that
we need. Only two. Our Lord said you only
need two things to live in this world. Material things. Food
and raiment. Huh? Oh, you've got to have a
roof over your head. He didn't say anything about
that, did he? He didn't have one. You don't have to own a home.
No, you don't. No, you don't. He didn't. Did he have a place
to stay? The Lord going to leave him?
Oh, no. No. Food and raiment. All right?
Now, he knows you need that. And he said, he said the sparrows, you know
the sparrows? He said they don't sow a garden. They don't plow a garden. They
don't plant seed. But your Heavenly Father feeded
them. He said, you remember the lilies?
Solomon was not arrayed in all his clothing. He didn't look
anything like them. He said, if he clothed the lilies,
will he not clothe you? So he said, seek ye first the
one thing needful, the kingdom of God and his righteousness,
which is Jesus Christ. Where are you going to hear about
that? Right here. And all these things will be
added to you. You don't have to worry about food and raiment,
ever. God's seed, Hannah, has never been begging bread. Not
one of them. Never. Never. It would be abundantly
given to her. So one thing is needful. David
said it, didn't he? Remember? Psalm 27, David said,
one thing is needful. One thing have I desired of the
Lord, that will I seek after, like Mary. David said, that's
what I'm going after. I want to dwell in the house
of the Lord. I want to dwell in the house of
the Lord. God has a house. We look for a building whose
builder and maker is God. A house in the heavens, an eternal
dwelling place. That's where I want to be. All
the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord. If we
don't behold the beauty of the Lord, something or someone else
is going to attract our attention. We're going to fall for something
or someone else and think they or it is beautiful, and we're
going to realize in the end that it's not. Oh, to behold the beauty of the
Lord. and to inquire in his temple. One thing. So that's what David
went after. And this is what Mary went after. Our Lord said,
Mary, here in verse 42, hath chosen that good part which shall
not be taken away from her. Mary hath chosen. That's what
he said, didn't he? Yes, he did. And yes, she did. She chose this. She made a conscious
choice. Mary said, am I going to do this
or am I going to do that? Am I going to go here or am I
going to go there? The Lord Jesus Christ is coming to my house,
to my sister's house today to speak. What am I going to do?
That's what the Lord said. She chose, I'm going to come
and I'm going to sit at His feet. Why? Because I need this man. I need Him. She made a conscious choice to
sit and hear the Lord rather than do other things. Yes, she
did. The Lord said she did. She had chosen the good part. Man, don't you know she's glad
that she sat there after... Oh, did she hear good things
at the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself? We all make choices. Yes, we do. We make choices.
We do what we want to do. We go where we want to go. Yes,
we do. Nobody makes us go anywhere or do anything, do they? Now, hold on. Hold on. You don't
think I want to leave it at that, do you? Why
did Mary choose Why did Mary choose to sit at his feet? David tells us in that same psalm
that I was just quoting, Psalm 27, Gabe reminded us, you said,
seek my face. So I said, thy face will I seek. That's why. Because the Lord
called her, she came. Because the Lord chose her and
caused her to approach unto him. Oh, blessed is the man whom he
chooses and causes to approach unto him, that he may dwell in
the Lord's courts. The reason the Scripture does
say, whosoever will, doesn't it? To make us accountable. Whosoever will. To make us accountable. But who will? Psalm 110 verse
3 says, Thy people shall be willing in the day of His power. It is
God which worketh in us both to will and to do of His good
pleasure. So Mary really doesn't get the
credit here, does she? No, no. No one's going to share
His glory. But Lord Jesus Christ, in mercy
and grace, chose Mary and caused her to approach unto Him. He
chose her to choose to sit at His feet. That's why. Oh, happy
day, we're going to sing, that fixed my choice on Thee, my Savior,
and my God. He taught me how to watch and
pray and live rejoicing every day. Oh, happy day when he calls
me to come. When he said, come, I came. I came. He calls us and we come. Alright? And he said this is
the good part. The good part. He's chosen the
good part. You know, I only believe those
who, well it's certain, only those who know the gospel, the
good news, the joyful sound, think, believe that this is the
good part. That it doesn't get any better
than this. It really doesn't. You tell that to some, maybe
our young people are thinking, Boy, you know, I hear you say
that, but man, there are a lot of other things I'd rather be
doing and not me. And that's not me. Because there
was a time when I thought it was pure torture to do this,
and honestly, and once again, I had nothing to do with it.
I had nothing to do with it. But now, but God. I really believe
from the bottom of my heart it doesn't get any better than this.
This is the good part. That is, on this earth it doesn't
get any better. It will get better. It will get
better. You know, this is what we're
going to be doing throughout eternity. Worshipping, doing the same thing.
Singing these songs, maybe not these songs, but singing the
songs of Zion, the song of Moses. He's worthy. Worshipping, hearing
the Word, but it's not going to be me preaching it. It's not
going to be poor earthen vessels preaching it. The Lord Jesus Christ is going
to stand up and when He opens His blessed mouth, we're We're going to say the half has
never been told. I thought it was good then. It just got better. And it continues, Brother Henry.
It's going to continue. Never ending. Never ceasing.
Joy unspeakable and full of glory. What's that? Him. His glory. We're going to hear the whole
story. We're going to see. We're going
to know as we've been known. My, my. But this is the good
part. This is the good part. Sitting
at his feet. Those that love to sit at his
feet now will sit with him in glory forever. Sit down, our
Lord said, with Abraham and David and Mephibosheth. He's going
to be there. At the king's table. And he said,
it will never be taken from you. Never. You'll never be asked
to get up from the table. No. Sit right there forever. That's where Mary is right now.
Mary is right now. If you could open heaven, open
up and see heaven, you'd see Mary sitting right there at His
feet, at His table. All right? Now, as Paul Harvey
would say, here's the rest of the story. Beginning with verse
38. Verse 38. Here's how this story
began. Now, it came to pass. that as
they went, he entered into a certain village. Like every other story
here in the Gospels, it's all about him. The Lord Jesus Christ came to
this earth and he passed through it. He quoted it. I preached on it. God said it. I'll make all my
goodness pass before you. I'll proclaim the name of the
Lord. I'll make all my goodness pass before you. You're going
to see my back parts. What's all the goodness of God?
All the goodness of God is in a person, the Lord Jesus Christ.
He came to this earth and he passed through it. And he came
to a certain village, it says. A certain village. It says this
often in Scripture, that certain village, certain man, certain
woman, certain whale. Why does it say that? Because
the Lord came to certain places foreordained, predestined by
Him before the world began. Known unto God, Scripture says,
Acts 15, 18, are all His works from the beginning of the world.
He knew what He was going to do before the world began. He
planned it. He purposed it. He willed it
before the world began. He put the blueprints in motion. His will, His counsels of all
eternity And He came to fulfill all of that. Every single thing
He purposed to do will be done. Every place He purposed to come,
He came. Every person He purposed to save
will be saved. That's God. That's because He's
God. He came to a certain place, a certain village chosen by Him. They did not ask Him to come. He chose to come there. And boy,
are they glad he did. And I am too. Aren't you? A certain
village, not a big city, not a big place. He went later to
Jerusalem, and Jerusalem despised him, rejected him, and cast him
out and put him on a cross outside of the camp, outside of town,
according to Scripture. But he came into this little
certain village and they received him. This little town, little
town, small. Our Lord said, O Bethlehem, if
thou be smallest, littlest among the nation, yet shall he come
to you. He chose the town he would be
born in. He chose every town he would walk through. He went to one place and said
he could do no mighty work there. Why? He didn't purpose it. There
was nobody there to receive him. But he had somebody here, Jeanette,
waiting on him to receive him, like that woman at the well.
Poor little village, poor little village, because God had hid
these things from the wise and the prudent, the rich, the mighty,
and revealed it unto poor common people. And this is a prophecy
fulfilled which says, you preach the gospel to the poor. And this
day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears, little town of
Rocky Mountain. Lot was suffered to go to Zoar,
which means a little place. And the Lord said, I can't destroy
that city until I bring you out. And God is going to destroy everything,
but not little old Rocky Mountain until he brings his people out.
So the Lord came to this certain little village and came to a
certain woman. There was a certain woman named
Martha. See it? She received him into
her house. He came to this certain town
because one of his sheep was there, one of his elect. A certain
woman, it said, named Martha. And she received him. She received him. John 1 says the world was made
by him, knew him not. He came to His own. Those that
He made, they received Him not. But, as many as received Him, some did receive Him. To them
gave He the blessed right, the blessed privilege, the blessed
honor to be called, the right to be called the sons of God,
which, why did they receive Him? They were born not of blood,
not of the will of the flesh, not the will of man, but of God. A man can receive nothing except
it be given him from above. Martha received him into her
house. Why? Because she was born of
God. Born of God. She received him. And everybody with him. You notice
verse 38, it came to pass as they went. His disciples were with him.
They were always with him. They went. I don't know how many,
but at least a few or more, maybe all of them, twelve disciples.
And she received them all, Stan. Where's Irene? She could hear
this. Maybe she'll hear the CD. Here's a poor woman in a poor
village living in a modest house. This is her house. It says her
house. There's no mention of a husband.
Maybe she's a widow. Maybe she's never married. Maybe
she has a husband and maybe he left her. Maybe he left. It didn't matter. She had him
in her house. and everybody else. It didn't
matter. Man, she used to be commended,
didn't she? The Lord did. The Lord did. She received them all in the
name of the Lord. She received Him and whoever
came with Him. And our Lord said, as much as
you've done it unto the least of one of these My brethren,
you've done it to Me. Remember that He just told about the Samaritan. And he gave some money to the
innkeeper and put his sick one there and said, now you take
care of him. That's what our homes are for. Take care of his
people, his wounded ones. And he said, whatever else you
pay, I will repay you. Didn't he? Didn't he just say
that? Everything is by design. He said, you take care of them
until I come back. And whatever you spend, I will
repay you with interest. I will." So she
received them all into her house. This home was blessed. Oh, how blessed
the home of Mary and Martha was. Huh? The Lord kept coming back
there. This is the first mention. of
Mary and Martha. Alright? The Lord, I like Matthew
Henry said, He invited Himself there. I like that. That old man knew
the gospel. She didn't invite Him. He invited
Himself. And she received it. Well, the
Lord paid frequent visits to this house and He saved the whole
house. You're not going to outdo him.
You're not going to outgive him. Mary said, well, come on in.
I don't have much. You will after it's over, Mary.
Like the widow. You remember the widow of Sarepta?
You give me some oil and it will never run dry. I guarantee you
that. And I'll raise your dead son. He did. Where was Lazarus? Ever thought about that? Here's
the first mention of Mary and Martha. No mention of Lazarus.
Where was Lazarus? He's not here. Where is he? Maybe he's out running the streets. You see, you've got to be lost
before you're found. Maybe Mary and Martha were lost. They must
have heard Christ preach the gospel somewhere and the Lord
saved them, but Lazarus wasn't there. Maybe he's the prodigal
son. Maybe he doesn't have any interest in Christ. Maybe Mary
and Martha both said, Lazarus, the Lord Jesus Christ is coming
to our house. Maybe Lazarus said, I'm not interested.
Huh? Yeah, there had to be a time,
didn't it? You've got to be lost before you're found, don't you?
Where was Lazarus? He wasn't here. And maybe the
Lord, and everything's not recorded that he said, maybe the Lord
said to Martha and Mary, do you have any brothers or sisters?
And maybe, probably, Martha said, yes, we have a brother. And he
just doesn't have any interest in the gospel at all. His name
is Lazarus, and we've talked to him, and it's like talking
to a dead man. And he just won't come. We told him you were coming,
and he just wouldn't come. Oh, he will. He will. Won't he? There has to be something. There has to be a time. There
has to be a time. What I'm trying to point out
is Mary Martha had the Lord in her house and all His disciples
and opened up their home like the house of Obed-Edom. The house
of Obed-Edom kept the ark. Do you remember the ark? Before
there was a tent in David's day, before there was a tent permanently
installed for the ark, Obed and Edom, they said, We'll
take the ark. And they put it in their house
for how long was it? Six months? Something like that.
It says, The Lord blessed the house of Obed and Edom. How blessed
they were. And so here Martha and Mary have
the ark. in their house. John, the ark's
here. Did the Lord bless the house of Martha and Mary? Yes,
He did. And Lazarus. And it says there
in John 11, that story when the Lord raised Lazarus from the
dead. It says, allow the Lord. It made it plain to tell us.
Now the Lord loved Martha and Mary and Lazarus. He loved them.
Whenever he was close by, he went into that little town of
Bethany and stayed in that little modest house. Well, it says, Mary sat at his
feet. Martha received him into her
house. She the owner. Mary was always there, lived
there. And it says, Mary, verse 39,
She had a sister called Mary which sat at Jesus' feet and
heard his word. The Lord came into this house,
invited himself, came into this house, and I'm quite sure that
Martha, being the owner of the home, greeted him at the door. Oh, Lord, thank you for coming. You've graced our home. Thank
you so much for coming. Please come in. And here, this
is the chief seat. This is the best seat in the
house. You sit here, please. Mary said,
yes, please sit there. No, I'll sit. The Lord probably
said, no, I'll sit down here on the floor. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. You're going to sit
right there. I'll sit on the floor. Remember, he came into that Pharisee's
house that time. Didn't give him anything to wash
his feet. He was reclining. Oh, sinners. They know they don't deserve
a chief seat. They know they don't even deserve
a seat at all. They're just happy to sit on
the floor. Mary was sitting on the floor. The Lord came in and as His habit
was, He began to speak. Every time he spoke, grace poured
from his lips. Everywhere he went, truth poured
forth. Words of life came forth. As
soon as he walked in that house and sat down, he opened his gracious
mouth and, Nancy, words of life poured out. Stop what you're
doing! Put it down! These are words
to live by. Hang on every word. Mary did. She just dropped everything,
sat down, and looked up at His Highness, sat on the floor, sat
at the feet of Him who had the most beautiful feet. Oh, how
beautiful are the feet of Him that bringeth glad tidings. That
was written in Isaiah 52 right before Isaiah 53, wasn't it?
before He went to the cross, and how beautiful is His feet.
And Mary later on was sitting at the foot of the cross, and
the blood ran down His precious feet. Now she's in glory looking at
those nail-scarred feet. Her sins are gone. She's not,
I said she's sitting at His feet. No, she's seated on the throne
with Him. That's what the Scripture says. She takes the beggar from a dung
heap and sits him among princes. She's sitting at the table as
one of the kings and priests of God. Oh, those feet. Those precious feet. Dirty? Yes. Because they walked many
a mile in search of his sheep. Maybe ugly. No beauty, I'm sure. No cunniness that you should
desire them. They didn't smell. I guarantee you that. No sin. But they were the most
blessed feet to ever walk this planet. Precious feet. And she sat there and thought,
what a privilege. She looked up to her high king of heaven. Heard his voice. Received his
word. People, this story began with
a woman and her sister receiving the Lord into their house, and
it ends with him receiving them into his house. This story began with two women,
two poor widows, unmarried or whatever, receiving the Lord,
and now they're both married to him. and have everything that he owns,
all the riches, like Ruth and Naomi. All who take their place at the
feet of the Lord Jesus Christ will someday sit with him in
glory. All who receive his word, receive
him, will hear him say, Come, ye blessed of my Father. prepared for you, those things
prepared for you. Those who don't, He will make
them His footstool. So there sat Mary. What a good
place to be. I hope you're already glad you're
here this morning. I hope. But Martha. But Martha. Now, I'm quite sure that when
the Lord first came there, Martha sat down too. She's a believer.
She was so happy to have him there. She's a believer. And I'm quite sure she sat and
listened. That's just good manners, isn't
it? You don't run off and start doing things before you speak
to your guests and so forth. She sat there a little while,
but her mind started wondering. That all the things need to be
done. Just like yours did as soon as
you walked in here. Now, Martha. You know, we're
all both of these women. All believers are Mary and Martha. Mary and Martha. But Martha,
it says, she was cumbered. That is, loaded down. Burdened
with. Much serving. Now, the Lord commended serving,
didn't he? Didn't he? He said, the greatest in the
kingdom is your servant. He was a servant. He commended
serving. It's good. It's commendable.
It's necessary. It's necessary. But first things
first. There's one thing needful, as
we say. Now there are many industrious
and hardworking Martha's in here, both male and female. Hardworking, industrious, servant,
that's good. Come in. But when it comes to
this, you need to drop everything.
That's right. Read the article by Brother Joe
Terrell. We need to hear the gospel as
if it were our last time. We need to drop everything and
sit at his feet, or else, if we don't, we'll be full of trouble. There is no help. for all the
trouble that we go through. And Wednesday night was a message
all about trouble. It was a message of comfort for
those that are troubled. A message in which we ask, why
do these things happen? Why? And I hope, I think, somebody
please tell me that you got some comfort out of it, some help.
Because man is born a woman, there's a few days, and it's
full of trouble. Our Lord said, in the world you
shall have tribulation, trouble, all kind of trouble. David said
we're surrounded by trouble. Paul said that, we're surrounded
by trouble. But we're not in distress. Well, there's only one place
to ease your troubles. One place. There's only one place
to find any answers that you otherwise don't have a clue. Why? Why? David asked, why? Why? So what did he do? He went in
and sat at the Lord's feet. And he said, I didn't understand
until I went into the tabernacle. And I heard His blessed Word.
And he said it gave him such peace. Martha was so busy, you know, she got in a bad way. She hurt
herself and she ended up hurting everybody else. She was so busy, she was so concerned
with other things, too busy to stop and hear the Lord Jesus
Christ speak. She's hurting herself. And then she got bitter. She
got bitter. Unbelievable what she said here. Our Lord said she was full of
trouble, full of self-pity. She blamed the Lord. Look at
it. She blamed the Lord. Look at it. Verse 40, Martha
was cumbered about merch serving, and she came to the Lord and
said, Lord, don't you care? I read that and re-read it and
I thought, I can't believe she said this to the Lord. Yes, I
can. Because I've done it. If you get in a case of self-pity,
you'll start saying, poor me. Look at me. Won't somebody look
at me? Lord, get somebody to help me. Right? We've all done it. Poor
me. Lord, do something. Look at all these people not
helping me. Who? Who are you? Self-pity is a bad thing, isn't
it? It's a bad thing. Bad thing. We all get full of it, don't
we? God forgive us. And there's so
many people so worse off. When I don't deserve anything
at the hands of the Lord, do we? Barnard used to say, anything
this side of hell is mercy. We ought to cry Psalm 51 every
day, every hour. Lord, be merciful to me, the
sinner, according to Your loving kindness. Don't give me what
I deserve. Lord, bless in the least of all the
saints, not poor me, sinful, bad me. Self-pity is self-righteousness. You know that? Self-pity is self-righteousness. Self-worth. Poor me. And you
know what you end up doing? Like she did. Look at Mary. Look
at my sister. She's not doing nothing. Self-pity will make you self-righteous.
Scripture says if we judge ourselves, we won't be judged. And you know
what else? We won't judge others. If we
judge ourselves, we won't judge others. If we blame ourselves, we won't
be blamed. The Lord won't blame us. Everybody
takes the blame, John. It's got fame. Everybody comes
guilty and says, I'm the man. When the Lord says, thou art
the man, we say, yes, I'm guilty. I'm every sinner described in
the Scriptures. That's me. I'm Mary Magdalene. I'm a thief on the cross. I'm
Simon Magus. I'm Judas Iscariot. I'm Cain. I'm Esau. I'm all of them." The
Lord said, No, you're not. You're Abel. You're Jacob. Everybody takes
the blame. The Lord presents them blameless.
And everybody that does that, too, won't blame anybody else. Adam realized too late, didn't
he? He blamed everybody but the fellow
he should have, me. If we would pity others and not
ourselves, then the Lord will show us pity. To the merciful, He'll show Himself
merciful. Right? I guilt him. I am Martha. You
can't believe how often I get full of self-pity when I don't deserve anything
but judgment. Anybody else? I'm Martha. Martha. Martha. Martha. And the Lord is so merciful. He's so gracious. He's so tender, so kind. Martha
humiliates herself here. She says, don't you care that
my sister has left me to serve alone? You tell her to help me.
You reckon Mary heard that? You reckon anybody else heard
that? She humiliated herself. Martha
humiliated herself. She was acting so ugly in her
self-pity, in her self-righteousness. But the Lord is so gracious,
so tender, so kind, He's not going to humiliate her. I know
He said this, Mindy, in such a way that was kind, it chastened
her, it rebuked her, but it didn't humiliate her. She's already
done it to herself. Like he said to Adam, when the Lord came and
spoke to Adam, he's already running and hiding
and scared, Jerry. He knows what he's done. He knows
what he's done. And the Lord says, Adam, where are you? Look what you've
done. Martha, Martha. As soon as he said that, I know
she, oh Lord. Hmm? Martha, Martha. Martha,
Martha. Oh, would that the Lord would
say this to me over and over and over. Martha, Martha, thou
art careful. Thou art careful, full of care,
and so therefore troubled about many things. Full of care, full
of concern about many things, but one thing's needful. Everything you are full of care
about will leave you troubled. Everything you care about more
than me will leave you troubled. We must care for our own, Scripture
says, right? We must take care of whoever
and whatever our Lord has entrusted to our care. But if we're full
of care, if we're not careful, If we don't beware, we'll be
full of anxious care and then we'll be full of trouble. And
if we put off coming and sitting at the feet of the Lord Jesus
Christ, there's no relief from those troubles. And hopefully the Lord will say
to us, Martha, Martha. Hannah, Hannah. And we come in here to cast all
our care. We've got a lot of trouble. And
we don't have the answer for it. No relief in sight, is there? If we trust on the arm of the
flesh, we can't get any relief. We look to men, we can't get
any answers. We don't know. Look unto Me,
the Lord said, and be ye saved. That doesn't mean just save you
from your sins. That means saved from despair,
saved from distress, saved from feeling like you're forsaken,
which we looked at recently. Saved from depression. Come unto me. I'll give you rest,
peace, comfort. Fear not. You'll hear him say
over and over and over again, The man is really preaching the
gospel of peace. You'll hear him say over and over again.
You'll hear the Lord speak. You'll hear him say over and
over again. Fear not. Fear not. Martha, Martha, are
you out there? Mary, you've chosen the good
part. It won't be taken from you. My
peace I give unto you. My peace I leave with you. And
the world won't take it away. You can't do it. You have my
promise.
