All right, let's turn to Acts 17 that we just read. Acts 17, and let me quote to
you again a verse which we probably quote more than any other because
it is so conclusive. Our Lord said this
in John 17, verse 3, and I'm quoting this to you. This is
life eternal. Jesus Christ is speaking here.
He says this is life eternal. This is eternal life. This is
what it means. That they might know thee the
only true God and Jesus Christ. whom thou hast
sent." So our Lord says that eternal
life or salvation or what the world talks about being
saved, our Lord said is to know the
true God and Jesus Christ who God sent to this earth. Man has many conceptions of God. That's why there's so many denominations. That's why there's so many religions
on the earth. Man has many conceptions or ideas
or ways he thinks about God. But God, now, God is, as he is
revealed from this book, God, this word is very clear
concerning who God is, what he's like, how he does things, what
man is. It's very clear. As we've said
before, it's not, well, that's the way you think it is, or that's
your interpretation. That's not it at all. We can
read the same verse It's so very clear. But God is as he is revealed
from the scriptures. Now, stay with me now. We're
here to worship God, and we're going to learn something here.
Blot out everything else, okay? There's nothing of any consequence
right now. Nothing. What's past is past. What's future
may not be future. This is now. The Apostle Paul was in a place
called Athens, Greece. It was a large metropolis city
full of artists and philosophers and
drama actors and you name it. He was in a big city of Los Angeles
or New York or wherever. It was a religious town like
every other town he went into. It was religious. synagogue or
so-called church on every corner. And while he was staying in that
town, he was living in a motel room or whatever, it says in
verse 16, I look at it, verse 16, while Paul waited, he was
waiting for his fellows, it says his spirit was stirred in him. That is, his heart was, he was,
he'd been walking around town. walking in the marketplace and
around town, observing things. It says his heart was stirred
in him. That is, inside he was upset. He was upset by what he was seeing,
what he was hearing. Look at it, verse
16. When he saw the city wholly given
to idolatry, That is, he saw the city full
of nothing but idols. What is an idol? An idol is a
man-made God. That's what it is. An idol is
something that man makes and calls it God. And an idol can be a literal
statue or picture or something, or it can just be your conception.
This is the way I think God is. It doesn't have to be a physical
form. It can be just some idea, a man-made
image or imagination of God. Now, Paul saw all this. The city
was just full of everything you could imagine. And he was both
saddened and angered by what he saw. I know the feeling well.
In verses 17 and 18, and therefore he disputed in a synagogue with
the Jews. He met with the Jews and he met
with the Greeks. Paul disputed with or talked
with. He wasn't arguing. Paul was too
smart for that, too wise to argue. Nevertheless, he got in some
disputes with these Jews. They were devout Orthodox religious
Jews and devout persons daily. in the market with them that
met with him. Whoever wanted to speak about things, he'd speak
to them. In verse 18, there were philosophers
and Stoics. Now, these were the equivalent
of university chancellors and seminary professors and the philosophers
of the day. Psychologists, sociologists and
all that. He met them all. He talked to
all of them. And what they said about
him was, look at verse 18, they said, what's this babbler going
to say? Now, mind you, Paul studied in
the greatest school of his day. He studied under the most noted
scholar of his day. He was no babbler. You read the
book of Romans or any of Paul's books and you'll find that he's
the most scholarly man ever. Peter, the fisherman, later said,
Paul wrote some hard things, hard to understand. Even Peter
said that. So he wasn't a babbler. That
is, he wasn't talking, you know, ain't and this and that. We'd
come over there like some dumb hick. Don't think that for a
minute. But these high-sounding orators
and these Fellas that love to give dissertations and use high-sounding
words with five, six, seven, eight-syllable words so that
they can impress everybody with what they were, you know. They
would listen to Paul, and he'd speak very plainly, very simply,
very straightforward. And they said, well, what an
ignorant fellow he is. Babbler. But Paul purposely preached very
plainly. Why? so that everybody could
understand what he was saying. Just like our Lord. He preached
so that the ditch-digger could understand him. And the marvel
was, the lawyer couldn't. So he wasn't a babbler in the
sense that he was an ignorant man. Not by any means. But they
didn't like the way he spoke. He spoke too plain, too dogmatic. There are other ways to look
at it. Paul said, no, there is just one way. Some of them said this, verse
18. Some said, well, he seems to be a setter forth of strange
gods. He is preaching Jesus and the
resurrection. Strange gods. Read on. And they
took him and brought him to this place called Areopagus, Mars
Hill. They said, we want to know what this new doctrine, this
new teaching is, wherever you are speaking. You're bringing
strange things to our ears. We want to know what they mean,
these strange things. In other words, Paul was saying
some things from God's Word. Paul quoted more Old Testament
scriptures than anything. If you read through Paul's letters,
all he did was quote the Old Testament and then expound upon
it. That's all it did. And yet these,
all these religious people said this is all strange. It's a strange
teaching. Now, what is all this about? What good, what does this have
to do with us? Well, things haven't changed. People haven't changed. God hasn't
changed. Gospel hasn't changed. Preaching hasn't changed. And
the world out there is so full of... Oh, my. Look around you. Look at religion.
Look at philosophy. Look at society. Look at all
the perverse things that men are imagining. And you let a
man stand up with this book right here. You let a man stand up
with this book right here and just read a verse of scripture
out of it, like we're going to read in a minute from Isaiah
45, Psalm 14. Just read plain words that declare
who God is, what man is. And people say, that's strange. We never heard that before. Well,
my preacher's not saying that. Where'd you get that? That's new stuff, isn't it? No,
it's not. You see, what it is, is the further
men get from the truth, the further men get from this Word, the more strange the truth will
become. The further men get from the
truth. And you can see it literally on TV. I watch these these charlatans on TV, and you
watch them, too. I want you to watch them. Most
of the time, you won't see a Bible anywhere around. Honestly. Now, you watch them.
Most of the time, they're roaming all over a stage, and there's
not a Bible in sight. And boy, they're carrying on,
and so are the people who are getting caught up with what's
going on, too. And everybody's just, whoa, man, this is wonderful. But there's been one way that
God is known, and one way God is declared, and one way that
people find out about God, and one truth concerning God. And
that's a man stand up in a pulpit, like I'm doing right now, with
a word of God in his hand, and looking at verse by verse by
verse by verse and saying, this is what this book says. But due
to the fact that men are straying from this, literally getting
away from it, then the sky's the limit. And if you just stand
up and say, hey, God is angry. If you just quote what the scripture
says, God hated all workers of iniquity. That's what the book
says. So that's strange stuff. We thought
God was love. We never heard anybody say God
hates anybody. What are you talking about? God has an elect people. How many times does the scripture
speak of that? Well, that's strange. We never heard that before. What
is this? It's God's word is what it is.
It's the truth about who God is. I didn't just make this up. It's what I'm reading from the
book here. So Paul, that's what Paul faced in his day. That's
who he was facing. And things haven't changed, have
they? Not one bit. As a matter of fact, it's worse. The world was relatively small
at that time. Now this thing is spread all
over the world. Let's go to verse 20 and 21. They said, you're bringing strange
things to our ears. We want to know what it means.
Some of them were interested. They just had a, you know like
people toy with new things. And it says in verse 21, all
the Athenians and strangers which were there, they spent their
time in nothing else. All they did, it says, was to
tell or to hear some new thing. That's all they liked to do.
They all liked to stand around and talk. And to hear or tell some new
thing. Did you hear what I heard? Boy, you should have seen what
Listen to this. You know what happened? Just
every day, day in and day out, these bunch of vain talkers,
these philosophers, stoics, stand around. All they wanted to do
was tell or hear some new thing, some new thing. Isn't this a
good description of religion today? Turn with me to Jeremiah
chapter 6. Jeremiah chapter 6. Now, long before this happened
at Mars Hill, It was going on. This was no new thing. Jeremiah
faced it. Jeremiah was living in a time
when all they wanted to do was tell some new thing. And isn't this an apt description
of religion today? Is it not? If you'll turn your
TV on or whatever, You'll see something different than you
saw the day before. Something new. Some fella or
woman, mostly now, mostly women, standing up, as the scripture
said it would be, standing up and say, I got a new revelation.
I got something new. They all missed it, I found.
Some new thing. Some new revelation. And they're
all so ridiculous. Let me give you some honest,
what there's some of the things that they've come up with. I
got a new revelation now. God has given me the ministry
of financial. I'm a ministry of healing your
finances. That's what a fellow said he was. Now heal your finances. I can heal your finances. Send
me. Send them to me. And then you'll be out of debt. I'll go, honestly. And people,
what do they do? Hey. Hey. This is new. See if it works. Honestly. Not too long ago, a
fellow said, now here's what the Holy Spirit does. He said,
now I've got the Spirit. It's laughter. The Holy Spirit
fills everybody with laughter. And honestly, I turned it on
and the whole congregation was just rolling on the floor laughing. people falling for it. Something
new. I've got it. New and exciting.
Come to the new and exciting family church where Paul spent
his time doing one thing. One thing. It's the same thing
that John the Baptist did before him. One thing. John did the same thing that
Jeremiah did before him. One thing. Jeremiah did the same
thing that Isaiah did one time. Isaiah said the same thing that
Moses did one time. Look at Jeremiah chapter 6, verse
16. Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye
in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths wherein is
the good way, and walk therein, and you will find rest for your
soul. They said we won't do it. John, what is the old paths and
the good way? Christ said, I am the way, the
truth. Where is rest found? You know
why there's so much religion and all this? Everybody's looking
for something. Everybody's looking for something. They're looking
for some peace. They're looking for some special feeling, something
this or something, get me out of this, get me out of that.
spiritual rest, contentment, peace, happiness. Christ said,
I am rest. Come to me. I'm it. There's no
place else to find it. Not in this, not in that. It's
to know me. The truth sets you free from
all this stuff. As I said, no, it's not good
enough. We've got that figured out. Paul preached to Christ,
and that was it. Go back to the text now, Acts
17. Paul did one thing. He said in
another place, I'm determined to do one thing, preach Christ's
crucifixion. But it was such a rare thing,
John, that they all said, well, it's this new thing. What is
this? Ed, I was reminded of this so-called
Founders Movement that went on for a while there in the Southern
Baptist. They ran across a little doctrine.
They all started toying with it. Hey, it's something new. Faded out. Well, verse 22. Then Paul stood in Mount Mars
Hill. He stood up in front of this
whole crowd and he said, you men of Athens. They didn't have
PA systems then. They didn't need them. He said, I perceive that in all
things, you're too superstitious. Well, what a way to address the
crowd. Wait a minute. Don't stand up
in front of everybody. Soft-soap them. Say something nice. You men of affluence," he said,
"'I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious.'" Boy, he told it like he called
a spade his spade, didn't he? Now, what's a superstition? I looked it up in Webster's Dictionary. Listen to this. Superstition.
A superstition. It means having an irrational
or ridiculous attitude toward things you don't know. Just listen to the definition,
all right? And that comes from ignorance, Mr. Webster said. Having an irrational,
or that is, ridiculous attitude or notion about the unknown,
and it comes from ignorance. He went on to say, it's belief
in magic, chance. He said it's unenlightened religion. Unenlightened religion, it's,
listen to this, the notion that somebody believes in spite of
clear evidence to the contrary. Did you hear that? That description
really fits the superstition that is, you could all lump it
up in one word, religion. Notions maintained in spite of
evidence, exactly to the contrary. How well that fits this society. Anything goes. Anything goes,
doesn't it? Anything wild and crazy is received. If you'll just say Jesus, if
you just say Jesus, somebody will believe you. Doesn't matter
what you're doing or saying. You just say Jesus. If you just say Spirit, I got
Spirit, you'll get a crowd bigger than you can hold in a building. You just say Spirit, I got Spirit. And this whole world will grab
it hook, line, and sinker. when evidences from God's Word
are so contrary to what's being said. For Christ's Word is so plain.
What Christ says about himself is so plain. So plain. Back when Christ said it in John
chapter 6, all the way through John chapter 6, he was declaring
the truth. Who he was. Who God is. What man is. They heard him,
Henry. They heard him, and they all
went out mad and said, We don't like this. We won't hear that.
Didn't they? Didn't they? They all heard it
and said, These are hard things. We don't like what you... They
heard what he was saying. They didn't say, Oh, sweet Jesus.
We love that. No, they heard what he was saying.
They were hard things. true things about who the true
God is, true things about what man really is in the hands of
that God, true things about himself, the only way to get to God. About
what I do for you, not what you do for me, what I do for you.
They heard that and said, we don't like that. We're leaving. And they all,
to a man, left that place. And it was left twelve disciples. Twelve men were left standing.
Why? Because Christ had chosen them. He chose, he elected them. And
they're not going anywhere. They believe. So Christ's word is so plain.
So, superstition. Superstition is a notion that's
believed and maintained. thoughts that are maintained
that most everybody believes in spite of evidence. It's exactly
the opposite. So Paul says, everyone here in
everything is too superstitious. And people, I could stand up
before this world and say the exact same thing. I perceive
that in all things, it doesn't matter. that most everybody is,
in everything, too superstitious. Read on. Paul went on to say,
in verse 23, I passed by, he said, and I beheld your devotions,
or that is, God's. He was walking around the streets
and saw these buildings and saw their signs and their bumper
stickers on their chariots, you know, and the t-shirts that they
were wearing, and all these sane, clever sayings that they had
plastered all over the place. I mean, everything you could
think of, Paul saw it everywhere. And he saw one sign that said
this. He saw one altar that said this. Look at it. Verse 23, To the
unknown God. Capital letters. That's not there by chance, Jerry.
Capital letters. To the unknown God. And Paul
said this, verse 23, he said, Whom therefore, he said, I saw
this altar down there to the unknown God, whom therefore you
ignorantly worship. You erected this thing to this
unknown God. That's the one I want to declare
to you right now. A God you don't know. You know, this happened to me
recently. I noticed a bulletin board, and
as I said, I read them all. Most of the time, I wish I hadn't. Roy, it just makes me mad. It
just stirs me up. It makes me want to get a can
of spray paint. I'll make a confession. One night,
I almost did. Well, honestly, one night I almost,
I saw a sign that absolutely made me so mad about God that
I almost got a can of spray paint and went down. And I thought,
what if they caught me? Boy, what a thing, what a horrible
thing it'd be for this church and my family and all that. But I don't know, maybe God would
honor Dad, I don't know. When I saw this bulletin board,
you may have seen it yourself, it said, Nothing in God's control
is out of control. And I thought, I wonder if they...
First of all, I thought, what do they believe is in God's control? They ignorantly—this man went
out on that sign. Now, if you read his sign the
rest of the time, it's absolute idiocy. But this one time, he put—he
went out there. The lock was cast in the lap.
What are you going to put on your bulletin board? The whole
disposing of it was of the Lord. He put on that bulletin board,
nothing in God's control is out of control. What's in God's control? What I guarantee you, I know
what he meant. Thunder and lightning. Some problems, some. Earthquakes, tornadoes, floods. What about the souls of men,
mister? What about the minds, the hearts,
the wills, the persons of human beings? What about every single
human being? Their thoughts, their wills, their minds, their
lives, their hearts, their souls, is that in God's control? Is
it? Oh, no, I don't believe that. Then it's out of control, isn't
it? Then God's not God, is He? Look at it. Now, here's what
Paul says in answer to this. I saw that. Verse 24, Paul says,
God that made the world and all things therein. Now, here's number
one. God made everything. How simple
could you get? Jerry, how simple could you get?
How simple could you get? Do you have anything that you
made? Does anybody in here have something you made with your
own two hands? Everybody does. Everybody in here has something
they made with their own two hands. Alright, what does that mean?
Doesn't that mean that you're in control of it? You made it
as it is. It didn't just happen, did it?
You made it, didn't it? Huh? You ladies, alright? You
make bread. Let's use this as an illustration. You make a loaf
of bread. You make it with your own hands.
What can you do? What are you allowed to do with
that? You can either eat it and fill
in a trash can. Is that right? You made it. Wait a minute now, Brad's got
some say here. That's not fair. Brad, surely
Brad's got it right. Come on now. You made it. So Paul starts out
by saying, God created everything. It's His. He said over in Romans 9, shall
the thing formed say to him that formed it, you can't do this.
That's what he said in Romans 9. Shall the clay say to the
potter, you've got no right. I don't do it. Isn't that the plainest thing
you can think of? God is the Creator. Why do men
believe evolution? They don't want a Creator. That
means he can do with you what he wants. Well, Paul said he's the
Creator and seeing this, verse 24, he's Lord of the heavens
and earth. That is, he's the supreme ruler
of the heavens and earth. Lord. Absolute monarch. Absolute controller, ruler. That's
what the name God means. Absolute, Darnell. Absolute. That means without unchanging. Absolute. That means that's the
way it is. No change in it. Doesn't matter
who thinks what about it. He's Lord. Paul said, Now see,
that he's Lord of the universe. Read on. Dwelleth not in temples
made with hands. See that, verse 24? He's not
dwelling in temples made with hands. Why do men, why do people
create these huge religious buildings? Why do they fill them full of
gold and statues and all this? Why do men dress like women in
those buildings? Why do people do all this stuff
in religion, burning candles and all that? Why? It doesn't
tell us to do that in Scripture. Nowhere. Why? Because they want
to feel relieved and think if they build it big enough, if
they'll build it big enough, He will come. If we build it holy enough, God
will be there. Paul said God created this whole
thing. He doesn't dwell in a building.
Read on, verse 25. Neither is worship with men's
hands. You see that? He's not worshipped with men's
hands. Boy, you see that a lot, don't you? Huh? It looks just like a ballgame,
doesn't it? You see, I'm making fun,
because it's so—you're not worshipped with men's hands. Or you don't. Verse 25, as though
he needed anything. Here's what he's saying here. Any outward form, any outward
ceremony, what do we do? Everything we do, we do with
our hands. Try doing something without your hands. You can't
do anything without your hands. And everything in religion today
is, you know, men's hand ceremonies, let's do this, let's do that,
let's work this. Not what we're doing. It's not what man does. It's what God says. I worship with men's hands, and
it says as though he needed anything. God needs this. God needs your
money. This is God's ministry. If you
don't send some money, we're going to run out of them. God
needs money? God needs a bank sale to pay
his bills? We'll have a car wash if you
don't come, we'll go to the moron. God needs to have a car wash.
God? God? Can't do anything unless we have
a car wash? Ah, my. What kind of God is this? That's what Paul's saying there. Doesn't need anything. I wanted
you to turn to Psalm 50. Do it. Turn to Psalm 50. Psalm 50. There's certainly nothing
better to do. Psalm 50. There could be somebody
in here that doesn't know this guy. I guarantee you there is. Several. In Psalm 50, look at
verse 10, it says, every beast. Now this is God speaking. Psalm
50, verse 10. Every beast of the forest is
mine, cattle upon a thousand hills. We're going to have a hot dog
roast to raise money for God's work. I own every cow in the hill.
If I were a roaster, I'd roast twenty cows. Cattle on a thousand hills. Read
on. I know all the fowls of the mountain, the wild beasts. Verse
12, If I were hungry, I wouldn't tell you. If I did get hungry,
God said, if I did get hungry, I sure wouldn't ask you to give
me some. The world is mine and the fullness
thereof. They preach you shouldn't get
so hard. I'm just telling you what Paul said. After he said it, they took him
out and cut his head off. We don't like that. Now, I started this whole thing
by saying, this is life eternal to know the true God. That's what Christ said. And
this is the true God. This is God of the Bible. Read
on. Now, he said down here in verse
20 and 21, or verse 21, these things that thou hast done I
kept silent. Thou thoughtest that I was altogether
such a one as thyself. You think I'm a man just like
you. You think I need things. You think I need men to do things
for me. You think I can't do anything unless you let me. That's
what you are. That's what you're like. That
you have no control over anybody or anything. He said, you think
I'm just like that. He said, I'm not. This is where it starts. This
is where this thing starts. It's about the true God. Get
all these stupid notions out of men's heads about what God's
like. Number one, He created this planet. And if He created
it, He can do with it as He will. With whom He will. Because He
will. He doesn't answer to anybody.
That's what Job said. He doesn't give an account of
his matters to anybody. That's not fair! If I do it,
it's right. God said. What does that create? What does that do to men? What
should be the attitude of men to that? The fear of the Lord, Proverbs
1.7, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Read on. Let's go back to the
text now. Acts 17, the fear of the Lord. Now, verse 26, verse
25. He doesn't need anything. He
gives all life and breath and all things. Verse 26, He is made
of one blood, all nations of men, and dwell on the face of
the earth. Well, white people share our spirit of black people. Oh, boy. I know these Jews share our spirit
of Gentiles. One blood. They are all alike.
They are all flesh and blood. to God. Read on. And he hath
determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation.
In other words, every single human being, God hath determined
everything about them from the day they're born to the day they
die. Is that right? Did you read it? Well, I don't believe it. That's
not the problem. It's not believing it. I mean,
it's not. I don't think it means. You read it. I don't like that. Now. Now. That's the problem. Read on. Verse 27. It says that they should
seek the Lord if happily they might feel after him and find
him. What is somebody's feeling after something? A blind man. God is put within every human
being, and this is the reason people try this and try that,
even religion or whatever it is, try a thing or a feeling,
trying to find God. How are the eyes of the blind
opened? One way. That's it. The light. What's the blindness
of the eyes? And blindness of the soul is
the absence of this. And our whole world is in blindness,
darkness. Not much of this being cast. Well, if they can feel
that kind of thing. Though he's not far from us.
That's what Paul said. Read on. Verse 28. In him we
live and move and have our being. Well, they say, here's what a
fellow will say. God's a big part of my life. You think, look, in Him we live
and move and have our being. God's a part of my life. Religious people say that. In
Him, because God is, we live. Daniel Smith, the God in whose
hands our breath is in all our ways, dies not glorified. He's
a big part of my life. He is life. I live. I'm a part of his life. That's how ignorant people are.
Read on. Verse 28. In him we live and
move and have our being, and certain of your poets. Paul quotes
one of their poets, one of their philosophers. I don't know who
it was. He says, one of them says, we're his offspring. That is, creating the image of
God. Verse 29, for as much then as we're the offspring of God,
we ought not to think that God's like a gold or silver. If we're creating the image of
God, now this applies to us. Would you stay with me a few
more minutes? Because the last verse is the most important.
I can't just skip anything, can I? It's God's Word. Men have God being less than
man. Men today have God being less
than they are. We can will, we can purpose,
we can make, we can destroy, we can choose, but not God. He's
less than we are. We're creating the image of God. I choose, I purpose, I will,
I kill. If we're in the image of God,
he's not some helpless, handless, armless, footless statue that
can't do anything lest I let him, is he? Huh? If I'm like
him, then he must be a million times more than I am. Huh? We make plans, do we ever
do anything, we don't make plans. I'm going to go here, I'm going
to go there. Scripture says God had a purpose, a will, his good
pleasure, before the war began. Call it a plan. But it's not
like it was a plan and it didn't work and therefore you're going
to try something else. No! God said, I purposed it. And that's exactly what it's
going to be. Because he's infinitely higher than a man. You understand
that? If we're creating the image of
God, Paul says, then don't think he can't do anything unless we
let him. We do nothing for God. God does everything for us. God
needs nothing from us. We need everything from God.
All flesh is in the hands of this God. It's not that he doesn't
have any hands. We're in his big hands. To do
with as he pleases. Read on. Alright, verse 30. The Lord at these times of ignorance,
God winked at. What times of ignorance is he
talking about? Before this book was written. Before this book was written. You had to have a prophet come
around. You understand? Before this book was written,
one of God's prophets had to come and tell you what God said.
Otherwise, man, ignorant. So that's the time that God winked
at. That doesn't mean He said, oh, let them go. The boys will
be bored. No, it means He just kind of passed over. It's
not like He forgot it. You understand what I'm saying
here? Read on. But now, now, God commanded all men everywhere
to repent. What's Paul's message to these
people? He stood before this huge crowd. What's he telling
them? God loves you. God loves you all. Jesus died
for you. God commandeth. God's not asking. God doesn't ask anybody. God,
if He's God, doesn't ask anybody. That's what He's been saying.
God doesn't need you. Church is not church without
you. God commandeth. We don't give
an invitation here. God doesn't give invitations. God commandeth. Won't you please let God commandeth
men everywhere to repent. Repent? That's old-fashioned.
God said it. Repent. Read on. Read the next verse. Here's the
most important verse in the whole message of the Apostle Paul.
Acts 17, verse 31. He hath appointed a day. in which he will judge the world
in absolute, perfect, pristine, inexcusable righteousness, perfection. Not one jot or tittle of his
law broken in thought, word, or deed by that man. What man? Jesus Christ will stand someday,
and everybody's going to be judged by him. You have to be as good
as Jesus Christ. Is that what that says? Is that what that says? How do we know that's true? How
do you know? Because God raised him from the
dead. That's what the last verse says. He raised him from the dead. And now sat him on his right
hand. Sat on his right hand. Steve,
that's what it said. It's what? What is Jesus Christ now? Judge. A commander. This is not an option. It's a command. To believe. Well, you said, Preacher, nobody
believes unless you... That's right. God command it. Believe now. Repent now.
