10. Luke chapter 10. If you're a disciple of the Lord
Jesus Christ, and there are words of instruction
and comfort in your speech, And if it doesn't, he's the worst
descendant of the other disciples. Some of what the Lord said to
the apostles does not apply to David. That's not David. Some of what the Lord said to
Dave did not apply to us. That's not David. But I think
we'll see as we go along what His impact is to us, all right? He's not just worried for me,
He's excited for me. All right, verse four. After
these things the Lord appointed a regent also. All things are
funded by our God, our predestined, predetermined, appointed by God,
especially the one that says He sent me. And He sent them
two and two, two united pairs. Seventy men. You can be certain
that they will be, because they have pretty good healing, so
spiritually you're not predicting it. But, there were no names
given. We don't know who any of these guys were, except perhaps
later on they kind of don't know. We don't know. They all seem
amazing, but we don't know. But no names, really, no background,
you have no ages. Take those men. There you go. Men, really, some
old men. That's not important, though.
Their names are not important, their backgrounds are not important,
neither is age. But, uh, who do they preach? What do they preach? It's important. R.I.C. is about
two to two. It's an entire. Because it's not good for a man
to get along. Yeah. And any time you say, he's
alone with his God, he's alone with her God. Otherwise, when
you seek out companionship, a fellow believer, a fellow believer,
you have to find evil communications from a corrupt, pure man. If
you said that plainly, we're not going to believe you. All
right. We're not going to believe them lies. They hear the gospel, that's what they do.
The higher pretentiousness of them is not going to make them
believe us. We're not that. They're that.
There's nothing to appeal to them. Nothing. They can't touch
you if you don't rise to the plate. I'll pass it down to this,
in death, there is no death. If you want to say you can do
it, you can do it. There is a promise. And we have
here at any time. This Word will bring you down.
You won't bring it up. Alright, so we need a companionship
with fellow believers. We all sit down in companionship
with fellow believers. No one needs to stay down and
pray to us and so forth. Our Lord sent us out to do it,
for a reason. In His infinite wisdom, He saw
the need for companionship, fellowship. Because usually when one of you
is down, the other is up. He's down, you're up. Go forth. What you don't know, He might
know. What you don't know, He might know. Higher sharpness,
higher. All right? So, let's just say
a blessing to all of us. The Lord sends us out and has
His disciples prepared. I've traveled many places to
preach, and gone by myself at times, and it's just not the
same. I've had a good time, but not
so much going and coming. That good guy was there, but
he's going down into the treasury and he's coming back into the
prison. Nobody talked to him about this
before. There are times when I do have to fancy it, but this
is just one of them. He's rehearsed everything. All right, it says, He sent them
to the tomb before his face. He sent them before his face.
It's like, uh, it's like you send your child, say, say Steve
is married, go, go, go to him. Run to the bar and fetch Steve.
Go. Go. Go on now. Go on now. See, he's standing right there
watching. Watching every move. before his
face. You see what he's saying? He said him out before his face.
The Lord had his eye upon him. He didn't say, they weren't humble.
They weren't humble. He said, well, I'll let you know.
He said him out before his face. He said, bow. Bow over to him
before his face. And sent them into every city
and place whether he himself would come. He sent them to preach where
he had intended to go in the first place. He prepared the
way. This wasn't his time to be in
the first period anyway. He prepared the way before, but
found the gospel. Or, particularly, the gospel
of sin, where Christ is purposed to save the people, for any purpose. Now, we know that the gospel
is, that the world deserves a sound of the gospel, but yet the gospel
of sin, and we're just going to see how that they stay there.
They stay in these places for a while. There's a well there
in the east and so forth. A big hospital, a well, is normally
where Christ has to be, where Christ intends to be as a person. All right? Okay, verse two. Therefore said he unto them,
The harvest truly is bread, but the labor is a few. Praise ye
therefore the Lord of the harvest." Praise it to the Lord of the
harvest. He's the only one that can do
it. Praise Him. "...that he would send forth
laborers into his harvest." Now, this was strictly 2000 years
ago. The harvest then was great. You
know how many millions, billions, maybe more people are dead today? That Christ walked on this earth. Huh? When Christ said, look,
look in all the world and see what their wives are. He thought that's over. And the
Scripture talks about God's people sitting there in the sand in
the city of Yom. And strangely, stars in the sky,
a thousand years ago, snow mountains in the Middle East, but none
of which don't make a sound. And instead, now they sound. It's hard. And I was out in Iowa,
talking about the Steel and Quartz Department, and I was in Iowa,
and he was just signing up for the Corn Department. And that's
a corn country. I've never in my life, I've never
seen anyone pay for a dime. You know, we had some corn fields
here, and man, that just took patches. So I heard about Perry
from Ohio, and as far as I could see, it was like, oh yeah. And you know how many preachers have been to that? You know, the creatures of the
gospels, that's it. Right here you can call it about
82. They said, well, 82. All right,
82, just a number there. And then when the 30th year began
to show up, the 30th field started. Back in 1960, when Barnardy came,
he came and took it. And a little later, in 1950,
in the late 50s, there was a little fun by itself. It was asked for
a show of hands of preachers that believed and preached this
gospel of God's love and grace. Nobody else was ready to hand
that to the preachers of this gospel. Forty-five million. Many laborers steal, steal for
a price. And what we've done before, now
that when the harvest is over, what does the Lord do? Start
to call in laborers. And we've seen, just in the last
decade, again, something awesome that you can do. Oh, we've seen
one go, we've heard one go, we've seen three go. We've seen men at that time,
my brother Bill Clark, removed. No heart is not ready. I remember growing up as a young
man, and my daughter's age, we were in the conversion camp. That's the last. We have a field
here in O'Connell County. Field of service, we labor in.
Right. You're still right in the way
of them. Your people, whatever your people
are servicing. Right. Right with that. Well,
and the reason the harvest is not great is because almost everybody
bought all six cents. Everybody did. Everybody made
a settlement, they had to sell their agreement, they got a refuge,
and they were eating that rich, nutritious food, and they didn't
need nothing short of it. It's just old fashion running
out. And we know that there's not
many ways. There is but one way to salvation,
right? Christ and I can be one. There's one Lord, one faith,
and one gospel. What he's saying is, go your
various ways, wherever I've sent you. where we're meant to go. Go your way. And all of us, we
go our separate ways, don't we? When we leave here tonight, we'll
go our separate ways. There are two of us happy. One
of us is just working, one of us is just believing. He didn't
find nothing around him on earth. He did it all the time. Did you have a stand, or did
you all probably greet one another like the old brothers? Like you
and I used to greet one another when we'd see each other? We worked on the railroad together,
I don't believe it. Every now and then we'd see each
other. We crossed paths. We did not
shift. Let's see. You can see it's going
to be like two lovers running 47 feet apart. Somebody, a human, a fellow sheep,
a wolf. That's what he says here. So
we write, as I said before, with lambs among wolves. Lambs among
wolves. Generally these wolves are dressed
like this. Keep close and religious and
have a worthful life. There's a need and nobody needs
somebody religious, especially when they find out what you committed. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Well, the Lord said,
be prepared to be faithful. And as he instructed the twelve,
you want to know there's similarities. Remember this was just back in
chapter nine when he read his instructions to the twelve apostles.
Do you remember that? The very same things that he
told these. The Lord has nothing different
to tell you. Thank you for that instruction.
All right, verse four, he says, Now Pete carried me the purse,
It was going to strip. Back then, men didn't carry wallets
in their pockets to wear pants. In their pockets, men had to
carry little bags, you know, called them. They called them
purses. But where did all the men come
from? There were no more purses now. But back then, everybody
was looking to carry this stuff. And he said, don't carry a bag.
And, uh, I don't know about you, but I have you on my phone. You
can't be sober. That's called script. That is
money. Conscription money, robberies
money. Don't carry a purse, don't script. And, uh, he says, uh, no shoes. No, he sure won't take shoes.
If you're shunned, well, they won't care how. You're shunned
with a circulation of the gospel, like the children of Israel,
that you should go wherever. They're just getting better and
more comfortable. That's a year ago. And so this
is what he tells his preachers. The Lord makes the way. He equips,
he provides his preachers. And that way, all will know that
he sent them. Instructors aren't beggars, and
they won't ask for anything, and everybody will know it. How do you stay on TV all this
time? That's a television program in
action. There's just one program that
airs in that tri-state area. I don't know what it is, $1,200
or more per page. We're talking about $60,000 a
year. I just want to say hello. And
now they're on several more. And they never, one time, asked
for a dime. Oh, really? They did? Huh. Well, I understand that. Who's heir is it? Huh? Who's heir is it? Like those
fellas, you know, those Well, it's on TV now, they said, well
send anybody if you don't send anybody, we'll go up there. Boy,
I don't get on and say, no, send anybody. Don't send anybody. They let me go. But Satan has
his snitches. He provides for them. Well, Don't
carry his head. You won't hide from anything.
He says, salute an old man by the way. First of all, that doesn't
mean you don't say hello. No, because it would be horrible. But what he's saying, don't stop
and carry him, you know. He's taken up. Don't be sidetracked. You're on a mission by Abraham's
servant. Am I right, ma'am, sir? Well,
I'd like to preach the message of that. But again, anyone that's
serving to find a bride or a son-in-law, you hear that? That's my thing. Well, they tried to stop there. I said, how does he go in and
get the, you know, back of the room? How long a week do I go
in there for? I told them, that's something
else. I'm not here to show you that. I'm not here to criticize.
I'm not here to warn you. I'm not here to preach. That's the way it's saying it.
You don't want to get sidetracked. You don't want to be here. All right? And it says in verse
five, whatever house you enter, heard it say, peace in this house. Now this is good. I need this.
Because there's some people you approach that are like the old
world. And they bother. Do you remember
when David and his men were at Naxahive, and David was coming
through, and there was a fellow named Abel, who was rich, and
priests were good, and David sent out messengers? Oh, this
is perfect illustration of that. Nathan sent out a messenger to
tell Mabal that they needed some victuals, they needed something
while they were in the cave and so forth. And Mabal, his name
means fool. That's what Mabal means. Don't
have the name you're calling Mabal. It means fool. Well, his name was that. Dr.
Abagail later on said that his name is so he did. Well, anyway,
David sent his messengers, and they taught this fellow to keep
them in the name of David. And he said, Who is that guy
in the name of David? And I said, I don't care. I ain't
going to give him any of my food. And you know, he wasn't going
to have to be interceded on his behalf. David didn't have to
slay him and everything. All right. Now, if you run into
somebody about the same kind of thing that don't want anything
to do with you or your God, but the first thing he quotes to
that, and this is hard to do for him, he takes the fall. Well, I'm going to open up on
this later. I'm not going to make up peace. How are you? Smile. I'm pardoned. I told you
I hate that. That's when I see these false
preachers on the street. And, well, he said, say peace. Verse six. If the Son of Peace
be there, your peace shall rest upon Him. And Doc, it's your
turn to use your mind. As many times as I've read this,
I've never seen this. Here's another name where I want
you to turn. He's called the Son of Isaac.
He's called the Son of Doc. He's called the Son of Man. He's
called the Son of David. Here he calls himself the Son
of Jesus. So the peace, the cause, there's
no peace with God without Christ. There's no peace among each other
without Christ. There's no peace. But if the
Son of Peace be there, there'll be peace. Young people, how many
times do I say this? Don't marry an unbeliever. And I'm going to keep saying
it until you're married. Don't marry an unbeliever. Because if you don't, if you
do, you might not marry him. You won't marry him. But if the son of Jesus
is married, you'll marry him. Part of that is being married.
Paul said this to the believers in 1 Corinthians 10. He said,
even the believers here will have trouble with this thing,
being an American. I ain't going to say nothing.
But if you don't have Christ, I'm going to be laughing at you. And this
is what he's looking for. All right. Now, peace be there,
you'll be at peace there. You'll have peace. All right? Look at this. I said, you're
going to get your rest upon it. You'll contribute to this. If
Christ is there, you're going to contribute to this. But, he
said, if not, it's a curfew game. Now, what's he mean by that? Well, I've been to places where
they did not rejoice and they don't. I'm the only place in the world
that I thought David was born. Well, he's been great here, and
there's nothing weak that you would know he was. But, and I
can't even look very disturbed, I'm perceptive of life as it
actually is. But, I still hate him. I still hate him. I don't want to forget that.
I don't want to affirm any of that. You're against affirming. You're still at peace. Yeah? And though you may not be well
received by somebody you've worked with, or a relative or whatever
you've talked to, yeah, you will be personally blessed. You will. You'll be blessed. You have to
be at peace. Yeah, you will. Yeah, you have
to be. If he was concerned more, you have the consolation more
than he's ever had before, even though they were different. If
he was more concerned with you and your peace, then you'd be that much more grounded. He said,
in the same house were many. If they were seen, they remained
there. He didn't drink such things as they did. They were according
to his heart, though not. That's pretty plain language,
isn't it? No, it's not. And in whatever
city you enter, they receive you to eat such things as were
set before you. The preacher, like I said, is
not a beggar. He's an ambassador sent by the
King. He doesn't provide it for him,
and he isn't supposed to go, is he? It's not a door-to-door salesman,
either, or solicitor. We're not soliciting the gospel. The gospel is not something we're
offering in a for sale. It's a declaration, but it's
not something for sale. It's not redeemable for us to
pretend to. It's not something to say. The gospel of God is
great. We're not going to go and say
we're solicitors or heralds of the king. If you don't go begging
for food or an audience, God will provide another. If you don't go begging for food
or an audience, God will provide another. If He doesn't provide
the audience, you don't want the one that comes. Well, now
look at this, you fat calorie or fat gram counters. He said
this twice. Why did he say this twice? Well,
everything flirts, everything, eat it. Now, wait a minute, wait
a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute,
wait a minute, wait a minute. If you want to do that, do it
yourself. You can go somewhere. If they
serve you, don't leave. You better eat. That's what Peter
said one time. I'll eat pork. The Lord showed this vision of
a big fat cow, you know, and snakes and all sorts of things. He said, He'll eat a ham sandwich,
Peter, eat a ham sandwich anytime. It's just food going right to
the grass. Do believers in Mexico eat what
looks like dog food? Perhaps. I bet you they're cholesterol-low right now. I don't know. We can
get off this subject. But Cora said it twice, didn't he? Didn't
he say it twice? He said it twice. Not in private. He said it twice. All right. Well, verse 9, And
He healed the sick that were therein, saying unto them, Kingdom
of God is come down upon you. That's how He healed the sick. We saw that in Matthew 7, it
talks about the first thing He said, visit the priests of God,
and He will cast out every evil sick. That's what cast out that
was not going to be evils, but send sick souls into the gospel.
All right? I tell them, the kingdom of God,
this is the gospel you preach. Not of a Jesus who's wanted and
can't, but of a God who's tried and failed, but the gospel of
Jesus. The gospel of God who sits on the
throne, who reigns, who rules, who's king of kings, but even
the king of hearts is an antichrist. And the gospel of a God who reigns
and rules, known as this God, always working from the beginning,
a God who's purposed all things from the beginning, a God who owns all things and
wants for nothing. And yet His kingdom is not of
this world. It isn't what this world is. It wasn't gold and
silver. It wasn't the only thing we had, but He's already got
you. It's not in his words, it's the
gospel of the spiritual kingdom, and it's where Christ got that
seed. And he has a foundation, and I'm sure he knows who he
is. And he just won't have it, declaring
the truth, and wait long enough. They won't know. Look at this,
verse 10. Whatever city you enter, you
see, do not hope over your head to go out of strength. Believe. And say, verse 11, even to the
very dust of your city, let's put it with all of us, what do
you do? Rock off with it. I'm just saying to you, use your
ability. The angel of God is coming down on you. The war man,
it's his big gospel. It was here. All right, and I
say that to every woman who hears me, every time they
hear me. It may not be enough if you haven't
come to Christ and committed to Him. The kingdom of God is
built now, and you do this very night. The day is the day, salvation.
Come and cry out for my name. All right? It's urgent. Make a case. All right? And he
says in verse 42, I say to you that you should be more tolerable
in that day for sodomy than for that sin. You have to make these
personal references, some sort of catechism about it. So, you
see what I mean? It has to be applicable to us
where we are, or it would be of use to us to bring things
up, not just to let us in on instructions of the Son. But
you see, you who believe here, this gospel, and I... had more to answer to than Los
Angeles, California. So that's actually the most disgraceful
thing about Los Angeles. Why? Because I know it's all
about the church there. There is one. But get it down
a little further. This very congregation, everyone
in there, is more powerful. Hmm. That's kind of serious. It's
a serious development, isn't it? Now, humanity, the people
of humanity don't work like that anymore. Now, I'm telling you,
I'm telling you, people don't live like that. That's the problem.
That's the problem. You see that? All right? He said, well, what
would we do? The first question is, what would
we do for a living? What would we, let's say, what
would we do to help humanity? The mighty works that they've
done and the iron signs that they've done, he is a great Bernie was a great and lavish,
rich and prosperous place, city full of artisans and mathematicians
and politicians and you just kind of go, it's all just a given,
it's only a first chance. And after a couple of years I
came back to New York City and I was in Washington, D.C. and I had only one shot at it
the next time. Well, you know, it says, verse
16, He that heareth you, heareth Him. He that despiseth you, despiseth
Him. He that despiseth me, despiseth
himself. Our Lord says in Luke 7, He said,
He that heareth you, heareth Him. That's what He said about
this man. What about us? Put the first
down and check the fourth. Is this a padded vest? Is this the Apostles in Genesis
3-7? No. Why is it everybody is talking
about it? It's pretty clear. It doesn't even need it. It doesn't even need a door.
It's all good. It's nationalized. And the cup stopped. Very good idea. And the cup stopped. That was the first poll order,
the first thing, the first town poll. Here I got little children,
here I got them. And we're going through. He's without God, and there's
no God. You're a God, isn't you? No? Well, then you are. And it's overcome, isn't it?
We've solved it all. It's already Jesus in you, and
He's in the world, or He's in me, and I'm in Him. Yes. Yes,
He is. Q. Are you certain He's out there
today? A. No. Christ is in you, through this
your whole story. Christ is in you. Uh huh. Christ is not in you. The rest
of it. Alright, first time. Later on
in the world, therefore you get to have the world's world here.
And we are a God. Now this is not a lie. It is not a shit. This is a man
of God. Believe me. Believe me. There
is a Jesus. No, God here in heaven. Yes, you can come out without
hearing from her. You go to the river for a cleaning
turn. They're all working in the river, and they don't hear
it as gospel as women are. Christ speaks through women. Yes, women preach, but not in
the context of church. They don't want to hear Him.
The fact that those nurses don't want to hear Him, they're rejecting
Christ. I know that sounds bold, and
worldly, and sound arrogant, but it's not what it sounds like. God has
chosen us all to be in the gospel of God, and we preach the witness
of the gospel to the end. It's easy to hear, but that's
a good sign. And all we've got to do, by this
time, is tell them what God's word is, and they'll come. That's
all we're trying to do. We've got to work out for ourselves,
too, as we use this time. And it's probably the easiest,
because it's all up to God, and you're up to God, and it's nothing.
If we just go out there and people don't do anything, then we lose
money, and then they do everything else, too. So we want to earn
it all back in time. This is what we do back in time.
That's how we do it. This is just how it works, and
that's the way it is. So this is kind of a woman and
a man and a young man. All right? I'm going to say this
proudly or emotionally, because what do we have that we do not
have? And this is what the Lord is going to remind them of here
in this verse. First of all, verse 17, "'For
seven years, now a little while went by,' he said, and they went
out." We need to think about this from a religious perspective,
that everything didn't happen overnight. You were with your
son, Mark, when you were talking about the regulations and the
procedures and all this so forth. He wasn't born last night. In
fact, I believe he was born one day last night. The thing you
have to do is you're a religious person, you have to do that. I'm not going to lie to you.
It's a serious topic, and that's why we said we were going to ask.
Okay? Oh, so are you. They're gone. Now, you read it, so. But

that he said he did, no one would suspect a thing. Oh, we've got
a little paragraph, Mark says, a little paragraph, Mark 4, 17.
Souls in the sand. Purpose of consciousness. Oh,

he returned again with joy. Now here's, here's this nice
thing, huh? So he came back with joy. So
he said, Lord, I hear the devils are such a blessing to you, huh? You see, if you don't realize
that we have the power to, you know, clear a path out of this
thing, I don't know if we can come back or I can't come back,
but they just say, Lord, them will believe in God. And you're
in favor of that, and you're in the glory of the Lord, and
they will be in the glory of the Lord, but who can? That's the question. The question is, can I go with
China if I want to? Who's going to do it? Who's going to do it? I mean, I would
rather have the truth. No question. It's the truth of the matter. April 18th. You know, this morning,
it's been a long time. It's, uh, we've been alive a
long time. But this morning, uh, it's, it's
early in the morning in some ways. And I'm just, I'm personally
asking for, uh, goodness. I am asking for, uh, I am asking
for goodness. What do you want? What do you
want? What do you want? What do you think? You're really excited
when you start writing. That's it. That's it. That's it. That's it. That's

and tried to build a new home. You'll be bound and chained everlasting
darkness. I can't sleep at night. The whole 1st 19th century power
cell service, Orphans, those are all tired men, and nothing
shall or anything hurt you, none, none, none, none, none, none,
none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none,
none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none,
none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none,
none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none,
none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none,

none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, none, But this is not. It's not. It's
not just on school fields, I don't even get it. It's a place of
enlightenment. But the major thing, and I may
be a distraction by myself, but I'll tell you this, we children
are absolutely immortal until the world is finished. It's finished. And so, he said that to him.
But now, verse 20, he did not put his hand there. He said,
Yes, rejoice in the Lord. Don't rejoice in Saul's death.
Be thankful? Yes. But don't let this be your
cause for rejoicing. Let the Spirit that sustains
you. I can do nothing to rejoice over these things. Rather rejoice
because your names are written in heaven. Hey! Okay. Do you ever get, I
know everyone here gets a penis cut, how does most of the patients
in the United States, do you cut off a penis? Because I usually
get it when I ask everybody to do it. That doesn't matter. My name was huge. You know, I
was looking around and told them, you're going to go there. Straight said to my family, what
are you saying? Well, you know, we don't care
if we're driving along or anything. And they said, what are you talking
about? He said, wow, really? Thank you.
Yeah, whatever you say. And you know, I was like, I don't
get it. Oh, look at that greatness. It's
not real. It's not real. Ah, it's a sketch. It will cost you if you catch
this, it will cost you $400,000, $500,000, and it's frustrating.
But, you know, your name, you see your name, if there's any
name that's useful, you have to use it. That's up to you.
But your name, and your picture, and everything else, and all
those other things, it's up to you. Who's name do you see a child
like this doing? Do you know who it might be? No? You don't? You really don't?
