The Lord Jesus Christ with the
cross, our sins are responsible. And oh, what joy and what peace
it fills our hearts when we see by that very death is how he
gave us life. By that very agonizing death, such joy and peace and acceptance
with God. Well, I've titled my message
today, Free Sovereign Grace. Free Sovereign Grace. And I'm
going to get my subject out of verse thirty-seven. All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise Now, the situation is, here's
some people that came to Christ, and back up in verse 26, they
said this, our Lord did. He said, Verily, verily, I say
unto you, seek me not because you saw the miracles. Not because you saw miracles.
Miracles has never saved anybody. Only the miracle of salvation,
the miracle of grace saving you. But you, because you did even
the lows and were filled. Now that's what the average preacher,
and that's what the average person is looking for, what they can
get from God, and what God owes them, and what they are entitled
to from Him. You know, preachers tell them,
I see lots and lots of things, and where they have these meetings,
I was looking at a place yesterday, got four different preachers,
and every one of them has got a different assignment. And one preacher's
assignment is that all he deals with is his marriage, and counseling,
and therapy, and he deals with that two or three days a week,
you know, getting all the folks together, and all the people
that's having marriage problems, and married, going to get married.
That's all his ministry is. Makes a big sound. You know,
and the folks come to him because they want something besides salvation.
They need help in their marriage, whatever they need. You know,
if they need help, they come, they need whatever they need.
But our Lord Jesus Christ, He saves by grace. He saves by grace. There I said, All that the Father
giveth me. He said, If you had seen me,
you would have believed me. But all that the Father giveth
me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no
wise cast out. Now I tell you, beloved, the
Word of God never contradicts itself. Never contradicts itself. People say it does, but it doesn't.
It's in perfect harmony with itself. And if there is a seeming
contradiction, it's because of the darkness in us and in our
understanding. The word's never wrong. Let me
give you an illustration. You know, James says this. He
said, You see how man is justified by his works? Abraham was justified by his
works when he offered up Isaac, you see how the Rahab the harlot
was justified by her works when she took him to spice? Well,
then Paul comes along and he says in Romans 3, 28, knowing
that no man is justified by his works or by the deeds of the
law, but he's justified by faith. Now, does that contradict itself?
Not if you know what the Scriptures teach. It doesn't at all. And
we've been taught of God. You see, Paul, when he talks
about our justification by faith in Romans 3, he's talking about
our justification before God, our justification of our souls,
being counted righteous in God's sight. And when James talks about
being justified by our works, he means this, that our justification
of our faith before men. Men cannot see our relationship
with God except how we treat them, except how we regard God,
except how we regard the worship, except how we regard how we live
in this world. That's the only way in the world
men can do that. And so Paul is saying that works
is not the cause of our salvation. Christ is the cause of our salvation.
Grace is the cause of our salvation. And James says that works is
the fruit or the effect of our salvation, because it flows from
our saving faith. You cannot be saved. James said
it like this. He says, yet a man may say, show
me your faith. I want to see your faith. How
are you going to show him your faith? How are you going to show
me your faith today? People out in the world can't
see your faith. I can't see your faith only as how you treat me
and I treat you, and how you treat your people in your home,
how you treat your neighbors, how you treat God, how you treat
the Scriptures, how you treat the people you work for. That's
the only way in the world you're going to be able to see your
faith. Ain't that right? Not because they see faith, but
how you react to things and how you act. So that's what he's
saying. And here in this verse of Scripture that I've read today,
here's two sides of God's truth. God's absolute sovereignty. Absolute
power, all that the Father giveth me. All that the Father giveth
me. And also man's responsibility. And the invitation. We don't
give invitations here, but the invitation's in the gospel. God
brings men to faith in the gospel, through the gospel. And the gospel's
what invites men and calls men to the Lord Jesus Christ. You
see, Here, this verse of Scripture declares the truth of God's sovereign,
predestinating grace. All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me. And all at the same time, but
him that cometh to me, then to him that cometh to me, I'll never
cast him out. So there we have that whosoever
pleases, not only does God call and choose and have a predestinating
purpose in grace, but it also states here that whosoever pleases,
Whoever wants to be saved may come to Christ, and the Scripture
here tells us that Christ will not turn him away, will not cast
him away. He won't do it. He won't do it. And I'll tell
you, the first says that God chose a people, gave those people
to the Lord Jesus Christ and the eternal governor of grace,
and these people must and shall come to Christ, and every one
of them shall be saved. And the second truth declares
that any man, any man who comes to Christ shall be saved, shall
be received, shall be accepted, and will never be cast out. Now,
both of those things are true. I don't know how many times I've
been accused, and anybody that preaches the grace of God has
been accused of, said, you know, a man, the way they preach, a
man couldn't even be saved if he wanted to. That's the most
ridiculous statement anybody could possibly... Do you reckon
anybody that wants to be saved couldn't be saved? That's the
dumbest thing anybody could ever choose another person to save.
Our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners. Is that not right? Paul said
he was the chief of sinners. Thou shalt call his name Jesus,
and he shall save his people from their sins. And I say, beloved,
that we haven't learned to preach or witness until we can declare
both of these truths, not as enemies, that's against one another.
God's sovereign, predestinating grace that He gave a people to
Christ, and the second one of them, that God will save any
man, that Christ will receive any man who will come to Him,
that He'll never, ever cast them out. Huh? You see, I'm not talking
about being consistent with myself. If I'm consistent, old Spurgeon
said this, you find the man's consistent with himself, you
find the man's consistent with the fool. But we can be consistent
with the Word of God. And that's what we want to do,
be consistent with the Word of God. God chose the people in
Christ. He redeemed them. God chose a
people and our Lord Jesus redeemed them, and they shall, by God's
sovereign free grace, in due time be brought to Christ, be
brought to Christ in repentance and in faith, and not one of
them shall perish. Not one of them. But it's equally
true, it's equally true that any man, any woman who will come
Who will believe, who will trust the Lord Jesus Christ shall have
eternal life. And these two truths are not
inconsistent with one another. To me, they're not. See, they're
perfectly agreed in my mind. I think in my preaching. I think
they are. You see, we don't want, and this
is something that I certainly don't want to be guilty of. I
don't want to preach in such a way that that discourage anybody
from coming to Christ. We don't want to be guilty of
preaching the sovereignty of God and of His electing grace
in such a way to discourage souls from coming to Christ. You know,
like we're afraid somebody's going to get there that's not
supposed to be there. You know, that's why a lot of
folks are scared to death somebody's going to get in that's not supposed
to get in. But yet at the same time, I want
to encourage you to come. I want to encourage you to trust.
I want to encourage you to rest in the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm
not afraid of too many people here who come to Christ today.
I'm not afraid of that at all. I'm not afraid that too many
will come to Christ. What the burden of my heart is, is that
there are so many here who haven't, and who by God, unless God has
mercy on them, they won't never come. That would be a horrible
thing to never come to Christ after He's been preached to you
and set forth before you. That would be an awful thing.
I can't imagine any kind of worse condemnation than to actually
sit and hear in the gospel, hearing Christ preached to you, and encouraged
and exhorted to come to Christ, believe on Christ, receive Christ,
and His readiness and willingness to receive you and embrace And
yet you won't do it? Oh, what condemnation would a
man be under? Huh? Well, let's look at this
verse of Scripture. John 6, 37. All that the Father
giveth me shall come to me. Now, that's God's sovereign,
predestinating grace. God gave a people and what's
this? And Him, there's responsibility. Him that cometh to me. I'll let no wise cast out. Now,
this is the sovereign, eternal purpose of God. All that the
Father giveth me shall come to me. And we know this is teaching
the blessed truth of God's electing grace. For God chose us in Christ
before the foundation of the world, that we should behold
Him without blame, before Him in love. And who are these people? Who are these people that were
given to Christ? Who are they? Well, this is how
much I know about them. Every single one of them are
some of Adam's fallen race. They're all part of Adam's fallen
race. Not all of them. But they come
out of Adam's fallen race. They were brought into this world
as sinners like everybody else. They were by nature the children
of wrath as anybody else. They loved sin as much as anybody
else. They were in darkness as much as anybody else. And you
know it says there in verse 39, and this is the Father's will.
which I send me of all which he hath given me." There's a
people given to him. And that's why our Lord Jesus
said in John 17 and 19, He said, I pray not for the world, but
for them which thou hast given me out of the world. He says,
thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give
eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And it's these
people, those that were given to him, these descendants of
Adam, These that Christ prayed for. These that Christ sent,
and He has power over all flesh to give eternal life to. They
are those for whom Christ died. And you know who they are? They're
sinners. And you know something about
them? They know painfully well what it is to be a sinner. They
know painfully well what it is to be a sinner. Look with me
over in Matthew chapter 9 with me just a minute. You keep drawing
and look over here in Matthew chapter 9 just a moment. Let
me show you something. Our Lord Jesus said in Luke chapter
19, 10, He said, The Son of Man come to seek, to seek and to
save that which is lost. But look in Matthew chapter 9,
verse 10 with me. Oh my, these people here who
Christ died for, they know painfully well that they're sinners. But
look what he said here in verse 10, Matthew 9, 10, And it came
to pass, as Jesus sent up meat in the house, behold, many publicans,
publicans were tax collectors, they worked for Rome, and they
were despised by the Jews. And publicans and sinners came
and sat down with him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees, the great
religious leaders and the most religious people of all time,
at that time saw it, they said to his disciples, why eateth
your master with publicans and sinners? That was an awful thing
they thought for Christ to do. Why in the world is your master
sitting down, defiling himself with these publicans and sinners?
And when Jesus heard, you know what he said to them? They that
are whole don't need a doctor. If you're not sick, if you're
healthy, and you got good health, you don't get up and go to the
doctor. You only go to the doctor when you're sick. Christ said,
they that are whole don't need a physician, only the sick do.
Now look what else he said. So these folks weren't sick.
It was the sick folks, the publicans and sinners that came to him.
And he said in verse 13, but you go and learn what that means.
You go and find out what I'm talking about. I will have mercy. I show mercy. I won't go on to
sacrifices. I don't want anything you can
bring to me. You can't bring enough. You can't do enough.
You can't work enough. You can't offer enough. You can't
do enough to get me to save you. I'll have mercy, for I'll not
come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. And if
we can ever find a sinner, oh my, the best news you ever heard.
was that Christ came to save sinners. And our Lord here is not only
teaching the blessed truth of election, but our Lord here is
teaching the invincible, effectual call of the Spirit by the gospel. It says here, they shall, they
shall come to me. They must, they will in due time
be brought to Christ by the sovereign Spirit and power of God. God's
grace cannot be frustrated. There's no way in the world that
God himself can keep, anybody can keep, you know, this idea
that God's got to give you a chance and that you're free and that
you're in kind of a limbo and an innocence until God gives
you your chance. God's grace is not going to be
frustrated because you can't do something or you won't do
something. God's going to get his people. God's grace is not
going to depreciate him. This idea, you know, that I won't
let God do this, and I won't let God do that, and God won't
do this, and He won't invade your will. I'll tell you something,
if God does not come and break in on us, we'll never know a
thing in the world about Him. You talk about darkness. Look
at the darkness in this world. Look at the darkness in religion.
Men, what they ought to be ashamed of, they brag about. They brag
about their free will and its great power. But I was reading
a story this week that a preacher sent me, and he was using it
as his illustration. Shakespeare sat down, and he
was writing Romeo and Juliet. And he sat there at his desk,
and he said, what in the world shall I do with Romeo? Romeo
wants to commit suicide, and I don't know what to do with
him. I don't know what to do with him. I don't know how to
let him You know, I don't want to impose my will upon him. And
the fella said, it's your intention. You're making him up. You can
have him do whatever you want him to do. If you want him to
live, he can live. If you want him to commit suicide,
he can commit suicide. Whatever you want him to do,
he's coming out of your mind. So what you want him to do, that's
what he'll do. A man sitting down writing a
fictional character, he can do whatever the writer wants him
to do. And I'm telling you, son beloved, God's not a fictional
person writing a fictional character. He can do what He wants to do
with His people. That's right. I mean, you know,
listen, I'm telling you. The Scripture says brethren were
bound. Always to thank God for you,
because God has from the beginning chosen you unto salvation. How? Through sanctification of
the Spirit and belief of the truth. Now listen to it. We're
untrue. He called you by our gospel. Called you by the gospel. For
whom He did foreknow, them He also did predestinate. Whom He
predestinated, them He also called. And our beloved God marks his
elect. He marks his elect. How does
He do it? First of all, He marks him in
the heart. Marks him in the heart. Speaks to the heart. He opened
Lydia's heart. He pierces the heart. He draws
back the arrow. And these things are heart issues.
We're not dealing with earthly issues. We're dealing with heavenly
issues, heart issues. Not fleshly issues, whether you're
happy or not, whether you've got enough money or not, whether
you're happily married or not, whether you've got cancer or
not. We're not dealing with earthly issues. We're dealing with heavenly
issues, eternal issues, heart issues, issues of a man before
God. And oh, God knocks his elect
in the heart, and then he takes that blood. You know, when they
brought somebody in the scriptures, and they're going to be put in
A prophet or a priest, God would take blood and He'd put blood
on their ear. Sanctify that ear. That ear's
mine. You don't listen to me from now
on. Then He'd put it on their thumb. That hand's gonna be mine. You know, if you ain't got a
thumb, you can't use your old hand. But all that, put blood
on that thumb. That hand's gonna be mine. You
don't use it to my glory. Then He puts it on the big toe.
He said, that foot's mine. You're mine from the top of your
head to the sole of your foot, and I've got your ear, I've got
your heart, I've got your head, I've got your feet. You're mine!
Is that good? Why was Zacchaeus doing up that
tree that day? He just... Oh, what a lucky day for him.
He just happened to be at the right place at the right time.
He was lucky that day. He's lucky that way. No, no,
God had him there, right where he was supposed to be. And how
did Christ our Lord know his name? The Lord never met Zacchaeus
before. Zacchaeus had never met Christ
before. He climbed up that tree because he was a little bitty
guy, and he couldn't see over people's heads. So he climbed
up the tree because Jesus had come by, and the Scripture says
that he wanted to see, that he might. He said, didn't know,
he said, I'd just like to see. I've heard so much about him.
He's sitting up in that tree. He's a little old giddy fellow. And he's looking. And the Lord
stood there, a big crowd, and followed him around. I mean,
dead people followed him everywhere. And he just looked at them. You can imagine what Zacchaeus
thought when he heard the Lord called him by name. How do you
know I'm here? And then he says, come down.
And you know what he said to him when he came down? He said,
today, today, I must, I must invite at your house. Salvation
has come to your house today. And like that infant cast out
in the field, our Lord came by and said it was a time of love.
Cast out to the loathing of your person. He found that infant
In the field, and he said, it's the time of love. And he said,
yea, I say unto thee, live. Yea, I say unto thee, live. Then
he told the sick to go down to that valley of dry bones. He
went down there and looked at that valley of dry bones as far
as he could see. Dry bones, dead bones. He said,
can they live? Lord, thou knowest. And he began
to preach. Bones began to rattle. Got up
on their feet. Still no life in them. He said,
start preaching. Start preaching. And beloved
little wild flesh came on them. A little while, God said, breathe,
Holy Spirit, and the Spirit came on them. Next thing you know,
there's all of them dead bones alive, living people because
of the gospel. And oh, beloved, that's what
we're talking about, what Christ does. And I'll tell you something
else that this verse of Scripture teaches. All that the Father
giveth me, God's electing grace, God's effectual calling, and
also, all that the Father giveth me shall come to me. And you
know what else he's teaching here? He's teaching the absolute
necessity of faith in Christ. It says here, shall come to me. Me, I've got me here in capital
letters in my notebook. Me, underlined, big exclamation
marks by side. Shall come to me, that's what
he says. Even though, now listen to me
now. Even those who are given to Christ are not saved except
they come to Christ. Election's not saving you. Election
is unto salvation. You won't know nothing about
election until you're saved by the grace of God. Ain't that
right? And look what he says here. Oh,
come to me. We're not, you know, nobody,
even those given to Christ are not saved except they come to
the Lord Jesus Christ. They must come to Him. There's
no other door. There's no other way. In fact,
the Scriptures tell us that if any man comes not to Christ,
he'll perish. All after He says, you know,
that he that hath the Son hath life, he that hath not the Son
of God hath not life, but the wrath of God abides on him. I
heard a fellow tell me one time that a man was never under the
wrath of God. Maybe not as far as God's purpose
was concerned, but in our experience I was. In my experience, I was. In my experience, beloved, I
felt God's wrath against me. I felt the condemnation power
of God. I felt what it was to be a rebel
against God. I felt what it was that God didn't
have to do a thing in the world for me. I know what it was to
come crawling as a sorry dog into the presence of God, asking
for mercy. And oh, beloved, I'm telling
you, that's why Peter says, we believe that through the grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ, we'll be saved like them Gentile dogs
are. No matter who you are, no one
is accepted before God or goes to glory except they come to
the Lord Jesus Christ. And that includes me, that includes
you. We've got to come to Christ.
I'm coming to Christ right now. By God's grace, I'm coming right
now. I have come and I'm coming again. I'm just going to keep
coming to Him. Ain't you going to keep coming
to Him? And, oh, beloved, He didn't say, I'll tell you what
He didn't say here, He didn't say those who come to the front. No, they that come to Me. He
didn't say that come to the preacher and talk to the preacher. He
didn't say those who come to the church. He didn't say those
who come to the baptismal pool. He didn't even say those who
come to the doctrines of grace. But they that come to me. Come
to me. Come to Christ. Come to a person. Now, listen to me. I want you
to understand me here. I want you to understand me.
If you don't understand anything else I say, you'll perish if you only
trust the doctrine. I've met folks who are high on
election, but election is not salvation. Christ is salvation. You've come to election, but
if election's not coming to Christ, you can believe in God's sovereignty
and never yet believe and come to a God who is sovereign. I
mean, you've got to come to Christ. We don't come to a doctrine,
we come to a person. And you arrive at doctrine through
Christ. You don't arrive at Christ Listen, you've got to come to
Christ. And beloved, we come to our doctrine and that is we
come to Christ and our truth. And I tell you, folks, we've
got to get through this thing, you know, that you've got to
know so much. But listen, do you know enough
to know that you need Christ? Huh? I know a heapsight more
now than I knew ten years ago. Three or four years ago. I'm
learning all the time, but I have to keep coming back to the same
place all the time. Do I know Christ? Have I come
to Christ? Do I need Christ? You know, yes, I believe in election,
but His election brought me to trust the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, I believe in God's absolute sovereignty. He can do what He
wants with me or anybody else. But has His sovereignty made
me trust the Lord Jesus Christ or my knowledge of God? It's
not my knowledge of God that saves me, it's God's knowledge
of me. He that cometh to me, the Father gives them to Him
and come to Him. Oh, beloved, and this is the
most important point. Saving faith is in a person. It's in the Lord Jesus Christ.
And coming is the same as receiving. as vowing, as believing, as trusting
in the Lord Jesus Christ. Huh? Oh, my. The eye of my mind looks to Him. The eye of my mind looks to Him.
The head of my soul reaches out to Him. The knee of my heart
bows to Him. in every way that he is, in every
way that he's made known in the scriptures. I'll bow to him as
the king and as the Lord. The lepers came down from the
mountain, and the first word out of their mouth said, Lord,
if you will, you make me clean. That thief on the cross, Two
things he knew about the Lord when he's hanging there on that
cross. He said, first thing, he says, Lord, call him Lord.
And then he says, when you come in your kingdom, will you remember
me? He is the Lord and he had a kingdom.
And our Lord Jesus told his disciples, he says, you call me Master and
Lord, you say, well, for so I am. And I tell you, beloved, surrendering
to the king, this is not a condition of salvation. It's the result
of salvation. That's the result of it. And,
whoa, I bowed to Him as a prophet. Who else is going to teach me
about God? Who else is going to reveal the Father to me? Who
else is going to make the Word alive to me? Our Lord Jesus Christ
says, No man has seen the Father at any time, save the only begotten
of the Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, who hath told
him how, who hath revealed Him. And that's what our Lord Jesus
Christ said here over and over and over again. If you would
have seen me, you would have believed me. If you'd have seen
who I am, if you'd have seen, you know, the miracles, you're
coming because I can do something for you besides salvation. If
you're to believe God, you'd believe me. If you've seen me,
you've seen the Father. Nobody else can teach us. And
then I come to him as my priest. Priest. There's only one priest
in this world that God recognizes. Only one. And that's the Lord
Jesus Christ. He's the great high priest after
the word of Nebuchadnezzar. There's not a priest outside
of God's earth that God recognizes and has put in office except
Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. That name. Ain't that right? And as a priest, he made a toll
in Christ's name. As a priest, he offers sacrifice
to God. As a priest, he reconciled us
to God. And then as our mediator, he
intercedes for us to God. He takes up our cause and our
case before God. And that's why we trust a living
person, Jesus Christ. He's king, yes. He's prophet,
yes. He's priest, yes. He's mediator, yes. that He's
in person, and we come to Him in all of these ways. And, beloved,
we come to Him. It says, coming to Him, come
to me. I come to Him to supply all my
spiritual needs. What are my spiritual needs? I need saving. I need keeping. I need teaching. I need instruction. I need correction. I need reproof. I need instruction. I need doctrine. I need clothed. I need fed. I need nurtured. I need taken care of. And who
in the world is going to do all that for me? You? No. No, only the Lord Jesus Christ
can. Listen to this. Out of my bondage, sorrow and
night, Jesus, I come. Into thy freedom, gladness and
light, Jesus, I come. Out of my sickness, into thy
health. Out of my want, into thy wealth. Out of my sin, into
thyself, Jesus, I come. Out of my shameful failure and
loss, Jesus, I come. Into thy glorious gain of thy
cross, Jesus, Out of earth's sorrows into thy balm, Out of
life's storms into thy calm, Out of distress to jubilant song,
Jesus, I come. Out of unrest and arrogant pride,
Jesus, I come. Into thy blessed will abide,
Jesus, I come. Out of myself to dwell in thy
love, Out of despair into raptures above, Upward for aye, on wings
like a dove, Jesus, I come. Out of the fear and dread of
a tomb, Jesus, I come. Into the joy and light of thy
throne, Jesus, I come. Out of the depths of ruin untold,
into the peace of thy sheltering fold. Ever thy glorious face
to behold, Jesus, I come. I come. Because I see in Him everything that I need. I see
the power and wisdom of God in Him. Everybody knows what substitution
means. Someone else standing in the
place of another person. Well, our Lord Jesus Christ was
so worthy in Himself and of worth such value before God that He
was able to stand and be in the place of a multitude that no
man could number. able to bear all their sin in
His own body on the tree. And in doing that, satisfy God
for all time and eternity. Satisfy His justice. And if Christ
satisfies justice, God's justice can't come and get me. If He
consumed all the wrath of God, the wrath of God will never fall
on me. If Christ bore my sin on the tree, then God will never
judge me for sin in this world. If I die with Christ, then I'll
never die the second death. I'll always live with Him, just
like He's alive now. Is that not right? Oh, beloved. And I'll tell you this. Coming
to the Lord Jesus Christ, you leave everything. I'll leave
everything that's contrary to Him. Whatever's contrary to Christ,
I'll just walk away and leave it. I just walk away and leave
him. If I've got friends that hinder
my relationship with Christ, walk away and leave them. Whatever gets
in my way from my relationship to Him, I've got to walk away
and leave them. I've got to leave them. I've
got to leave my religion for His righteousness. Because your
religion and His righteousness are two different things. I've
got to leave my tradition for His truth. I've got to leave
all my worldly companions for His people. I've got to leave
my family for His family. And I know this, coming to Christ, you've got to come continually,
and I come continually. To whom coming? I come when I'm
up, come when I'm down. Come when I'm sick, come when
I'm well. Come when I don't feel so good, come when I feel real
good. I just keep coming, I keep coming, I keep coming. Do you
keep coming to Christ? Do you come into Christ right
now? Huh? You see, this is the thing about
it. Old Scott Richardson taught this to me years and years ago
when I heard him say it. Men come to Christ without moving
a muscle. I'm coming to Christ this morning,
and you don't see me making a move. Christ's not down here in the
front. Christ's not in this water. Christ's
not in that bread when we take it. He's not in that wine. Christ
is the right hand of God. He's in glory. He's in power
and He's in majesty. How can you get there? You can't
get from here to there, except one way. From here to there,
from your heart, from your soul, without moving a muscle. Lord
Jesus, I come. I'm coming to you. I'm coming
to you. And I'll tell you this, my beloved,
I know the answer. I come to Christ and stop when
I get there. Stop. I stay with Him. Don't want anything else. Don't want anything else. When
I found Mary, she was 15 and I was 17. She was 17 and I was 19 when
we got married. And when I found her, I stopped
looking for a wife. I ain't looking for another wife.
When I found her, I quit right there. I never looked for another one. And when I came to Christ, I
found out that I was complete in Him and didn't need to go
anywhere else. I stopped looking when I found
Christ. It went well when Christ found me, when I came to Christ. I stopped going anyplace else.
I just stopped right there. I don't need anything else. I
found all I wanted. I found all I needed.
