Would you turn back to Romans
chapter 3? Now this morning, I am going to assume that no
one in this room has ever heard the gospel. I'm going to assume
that you've never heard. And I want
to bring a message to people who have never heard. I've entitled this message, A
Message to the Unknowing. And I first titled it A Message
to the Ignorant. And I thought that probably sounds
offensive because what the Bible means by ignorant is not what
we mean by ignorant. If I'd say you're ignorant, I'm
saying you're an idiot. the Bible doesn't mean that.
Look in Romans chapter 1 verse 13. Now I would not have
you ignorant brethren that oftentimes I've purposed to come unto you
but was led hitherto. He's saying I don't want you
to be unknowing or uninformed. That's what the Bible means by
the word ignorant. When Paul talks about those who
are ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish
their own righteousness. So ignorant does not mean unintelligent
or mentally challenged. It means uninformed, not knowing. Now there are many subjects of
which I am ignorant. I just couldn't speak intelligently
about them. I don't know. If you asked me to explain to
you how a computer works, clueless, clueless. The sad truth is that most people
in this city, in this country, and in this world are ignorant
of the gospel. They've never heard the gospel. They may have heard a religious
speech, but it was not the gospel. It may have been called the gospel,
but it was not the gospel. As a matter of fact, most of
what goes on under the name of Christ and under the name of
Christianity is anti-Christ. Now, let me show you why I say
this. Turn to 1 John chapter 4. First John chapter four. Verse one. Beloved, believe not
every spirit, but try the spirits, test it, whether they of God,
because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby
know ye the Spirit of God, every spirit that confesseth. that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is of God. Now there's something
we confess when we make that statement. He was before He came. He is the eternal Son of God. He's uncreated. He's the creator. He's the sovereign of the universe.
That's what we're confessing when we confess He came in the
flesh. He was before He came. He came in the flesh, God came
in the flesh, God was made flesh, and He did what He came to do. Whatever it was He came to do,
He did in the flesh. And we know from Matthew 21 what
He came to do. Thou shalt call His name Jesus,
for He shall save His people from their sins. That's what
He did. Now, verse 3. And every spirit that confesseth
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God, and
this is that spirit of antichrist. Now to fail to confess that he's
God, the eternal God, to fail to confess that he did what he
came to do and accomplished it is to be antichrist. And most preaching fails to make
that confession. So most preaching, most religious
talk, most of the stuff that goes on under the name of Christianity
is nothing less than antichrist. It fails to tell the gospel. And this morning, I'm going to
assume that nobody in this room has ever heard the gospel. And I'm going to assume that
nobody in this room has any knowledge of the truth and that no one
in this room has any religious background. I'm going to assume
that you're completely ignorant and that you don't know anything.
And I'm going to attempt to preach the gospel to you. So I hope
that you'll pray for me. If I was given the opportunity
to preach to some people who had absolutely no understanding
and no knowledge of the gospel, I'd go to Romans chapter three,
the passage that I just read to you. Now I'm bringing you
a message to people who have never heard the gospel. I would
not begin by trying to prove God's existence. That would be
a waste of time. You see, creation says somebody
made all this and nobody made him. Now that's an assumption
everybody makes. We know this intuitively. There
must be a God. Somebody made all this and nobody
made him. We all know that. So I wouldn't begin by trying
to prove God's existence. Men know this by the light of
nature, and they know it intuitively, that there must be and is a God. Somewhere else I wouldn't begin.
I wouldn't begin with man and the need he has for God. You
need God, and here's how he can meet your needs. That's not where
I would begin. I would begin with this statement. If I was preaching to a bunch
of people who had never heard anything and didn't know anything
about God, I would begin with God cannot be known. unless he is pleased to make
himself known. You will never know God. You
know, a good place for everybody to begin is right here. I know
there's a God and I don't know it. That's a good place to begin. I know there's a God and I don't
know it. God cannot be known unless he
makes himself known. So we can know there is a God,
but we can't know what he's like. unless He reveals Himself. And beloved, He has revealed
Himself in His Word. The only way that we can really
know what God is like is by what He has revealed in His Word. Now the Bible, understand this,
the Bible claims divine inspiration. 2 Timothy 3.16, all scripture is
given by inspiration of God. Now somebody says, do you expect
me to believe that God inspired men to write a book and that
there's no error in it? How can I believe something like
that? If men are transcribing it, if it was originally inspired,
you know by the time it's gone through men, it's gonna be changed.
How can you expect me to believe that the Bible is the inspired
Word of God? Well, do you believe that God
can create the universe? Does He have the power to create the
universe? Somebody had to make something from nothing. If you
believe that He has the power to create the universe, you can
believe that He has the power to inspire a book and keep all
error out of it and preserve it through the centuries. You
can believe that just as easily as you can believe that God created
the universe. Can I prove the Bible is the
Word of God? Nope. Can I prove God created the universe? Nope. Don't have to. Don't have
to. Everybody knows. Now, this God What he's like, who he is, is
found in this book we call the Bible. So we've got to begin
with God is, and I'm going to try to prove it, and he makes
himself known, what he's really like. You know, there's things
we can know without the Bible. We know he's very powerful. The
fact that he created this world, he's very powerful. But we find
out what he's like in this book called the Bible, and there are
two things we find out about God from the Bible that we would
not know without the Bible. And there are a lot of other
things, but there are two things we're confronted with concerning
God's character in the Bible. Number one, he's holy. Holy, holy, holy. He's holy. And number two, He's
sovereign. And what does that mean when
we talk about the God of the Bible? He's holy. This is the
God we're confronted with. This is the God of the Bible.
This is what God's like. He's holy and he's sovereign.
Well, what does that mean? What does holiness mean? What
do you mean when you say God is holy? The word means literally
separate, other. That means he's just not
like me and you. He's separate. He is other. If I asked you, who is God most like? Or what is most like God? An
archangel or a grasshopper? Who would you say is most like
God? An archangel or a grasshopper? Well, I guess an archangel, no. No. The answer is neither, because
there's nothing you can compare to God to. He said, who is like
unto me? Who can be compared to me? You
take any creature and say, God's like that. You've created an
idol. God is utterly transcended. That's His holiness. And His
holiness, His other, His complete separateness is seen mostly in
this statement by our Lord from the cross when He said, My God,
my God, why have you forsaken me? This is the Son of God crying,
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? What's the answer
to that question? Because God is holy. He cannot
accept sin. You know the reason people have
such a shallow and superficial view of sin is because they have
such a shallow, superficial God. Their God is not holy, but the
God of the Bible is holy. When he saw sin in his son, his
holiness demanded that he kill him. Now that's how holy God
is. He's just not like me and you. And God is sovereign. What's that mean? He has a will. He has the power to make that
will come to pass. And he always does make that
will come to pass. He's holy. What if someone murdered your
child, brutally murdered your child that you love so dearly,
and they were caught, they were apprehended, put in jail, and
then brought before the judge? And the judge looked at them
and said, I'm a loving judge. I'm going to let you go free.
You're forgiven. What would you think of that?
Is there anything right about that? You'd be outraged wouldn't
you? You know that's the way most
religion presents God. He's a loving God. Not a holy
God. He's a loving God. That kind
of God is evil, that would let something like, just arbitrarily
forgive somebody. Well, how would you feel if your
child was murdered and the judge said, I'm a loving judge, I'm
gonna let it go? You'd be outraged. Now, God is holy. He won't let
sin go by. He won't be like that judge I
just described. Shall not the judge of the earth
do right? Because he's holy. Holy, holy, holy. The whole earth
is full of his glory, said the seraphims. And God is sovereign. That means he is absolutely in
control of everything and everybody. You're in his hands and your
eternal destiny is up to him. You can't control Him. You can't
manipulate Him. You can't get Him to do anything.
You are in His hands for Him to do with you whatever He's
pleased to do. Now that is the God of the Bible. Who is God? First of all, he's
holy. He's transcended. He's above
and beyond. There's nothing we can compare
him to. His holiness is seen in his absolute intoleration
of sin. He must punish sin, shall not
the judge of the earth do right. And he's absolutely sovereign. He said in Daniel, it said of
him in Daniel chapter four, verse 34, turn with me there, I want
you to read this with me. Daniel 434, I'm quoting, it's
escaping my mind. Daniel chapter four, right after the book of Ezekiel. Verse 34, and at the end of the
days, I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, Daniel
4, 34, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed
the Most High, and I praised and I honored him that liveth
forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his
kingdom is from generation to generation. And listen to this,
verse 35, and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing. and he doeth according to his
will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the
earth. You know what's going on right now? God's will's being
done. He controls everybody and everything. He controls the very
thoughts that come through our mind. That's how sovereign he
is. He doeth according to his will in the armies of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth, and none can stay
his hand, stop him, and thwart his will, or say unto him, what
doest thou? Give an account for yourself.
How do you have the right to do that? God's God, he doesn't
answer to me, he doesn't answer to you. He's utterly sovereign,
utterly transcendent. Now, what's our reaction to this? God is holy. That's the God of
the Bible. That's the living God. That's
what He's like. He's holy and He's sovereign. What is our reaction
to this? What is our state before this
God? Now turn back with me to Romans
chapter 3, verse 19. Now we know that what things soever the law
saith, it saith to them who are under the law, that every mouth
may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Now there is our state before
this God I just described. Guilty. Guilty before God. Every mouth may be stopped. No
excuses, no justification, no vindication of myself. I stand
before God guilty as charged. Look up in verse 9 of this same
chapter. Paul had been talking about the Jews and the Gentiles.
He says, what then? Are we Jews? Are we better than
they? No and no wise, for we have before
proved both Jews and Gentiles that they are all under sin. As it's written, there's none
righteous, no, not one. There's none that understands.
There's none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of
the way. They are together becoming profitable.
There's none that doeth good. No, not one. That's God's description
of me and you. Now he began with talking about
the Gentiles, the people without a Bible in verse 18 of Romans
chapter one, four. The wrath of God, now this is
remember, we're talking about our state before this God. For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth or suppress the
truth. They hold it down in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known
of God is manifest in them for God has showed it to them. For
the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen. being understood by the things that are made,
even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Because that when they knew God,
they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful, but became
vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed
the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like the
corruptible man, into birds and four-footed beasts and creeping
things." Now this is what the people did without a revelation
from God. And look at this description
of them in verse 29, chapter 1. Being filled, these people
without a Bible, these people who have never heard anything,
being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity,
whispers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters,
inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding,
covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful,
who knowing the judgment of God that they which commit such things
are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure
in them that do them." Now are people like this bad? Are people
like this evil? Therefore thou art inexcusable,
O man, whosoever thou art that judges for wherein you judge
another. You condemn yourself for you that judges doest the
same things. Now here's the fact of the matter.
That list of sins I just read, that's me, that's you. And to think that you can judge
anybody when you're that bad is pure hypocrisy. Now that is
guilt before God. What's our state before God?
Well, people without a Bible? Guilty. No excuse. What about people with a Bible?
Look in Romans chapter 2. Verse 17, Behold, thou art called
a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
and ye know his will, and approve the things that are more excellent,
being instructed out of the law. You've been given a written revelation.
You're confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light
of them which are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish,
a teacher of babes, which has the form of knowledge and of
the truth in the law. Thou, therefore, which teachest another, teachest
thou not thyself? Thou that preachest a man should
not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that say'st the man should
not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou that abhor'st
idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thou boast of
the law, we have a revelation from God. Through breaking the
law dishonest thou God, for the name of God is blasphemed among
the Gentiles through you as it's written. Now these people with
a revelation from God, what are they? Lawbreakers. That's it. lawbreakers. So what is our state
before God? Looking once again, what then,
in verse 9 of chapter 3, what then? Are we better than they?
We who have had a revelation from God know and know wise for
we before proved both Jews and Gentiles that they are all under
sin, under the dominion of sin. As it's written, there is none
righteous No, not one. There's none that understands.
There's none that seeks after God. They're all gone out of
the way. They're together, become unprofitable. There's none that
doeth good. No, not one. Now, this is God's
testimony concerning me and you and everybody outside of this
room. And there's only one place to stand, guilty before God. How about you? Do you take your
place as guilty before God? Verse 19, now we know that what
thing soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the
law, that every mouth may be stopped and all the world may
become guilty before God. Now, is there anything we can
do to make it better? Is there anything we can do to
change our state? Is there anything we can do to
make ourselves not guilty before God? No. No. There's not a thing in the
world you can do about this. You can't change. I can't change
my state before God. What if I clean up my act? What
if I start doing better? What if I quit sinning as much?
What if I straighten up my life? What about that? For one thing, you can't do it
and won't do it. And the answer is still no. Look in verse 20. Therefore,
by the deeds of the law, there shall no flesh be justified in
his sight. Now this is what counts in his
sight. I can look okay in your sight. You can look okay in my
sight. But what does that mean? Absolutely nothing. There shall no flesh be justified
in his sight by the deeds of the law. And the deeds of the
law are anything you do. If salvation is any way dependent
upon what you do, you will not be saved. You believe that? If salvation is dependent upon
some deed of yours, I don't care if it's an act of your free will,
if salvation is in some way dependent upon you, you will not be saved. Can we do anything to change
this state of guilt before God and this state of condemnation
before God? Is there anything we can do? Let me save you the
trouble of trying. No. No. There's nothing you can
do. By the deeds of the law, there
shall no flesh be justified in his sight. For by the law is
the knowledge of sin. Are you going to leave us there?
Does that mean there's no hope and all we're to do is wait till
we die and go to hell because we can't change our state? Is
there any hope? Yes. Yes, there is hope for people
like this. Look in verse 21, but now the righteousness of God without
the law. What that means is without me
doing anything. That's what that means. Without
me doing anything. But now the righteousness of
God, without the law, without my personal obedience to the
law, is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets,
even the righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ
and to all and upon all them that believe. Now, what does
a holy God require? A righteousness equal to His. And there is only one righteousness
equal to His. His. The righteousness of God. And this righteousness is given. It's called in Romans 5 17 the
gift of righteousness. He gives his righteousness to
many of these sinful people without their works. Now that sounds
like pie in the sky, doesn't it? That sounds too good to be
true. You mean that this God that I
stand condemned before can actually give me His righteousness? To
where I actually have the very righteousness of God? How can
I know that's true? That sounds good. How can I know
that's true? Well, look what it says in verse
21. But now the righteousness of
God without the law is manifested. Look at this next phrase. Being
witnessed. by the Law and the Prophets.
He's talking about the Old Testament Scriptures. This is what the
Scriptures teach. Now remember, the Bible is a
revelation from God, and this is what the Scriptures teach. Jeremiah 23, 6, Old Testament,
this is the name wherewith he shall be called the Lord our
righteousness. Isaiah 54 17, their righteousness
is of me. Now go on throughout all the
Old Testament scriptures and you're going to find out this
has always been the teaching that God gives his righteousness
to people who have absolutely none of their own. Well who's this for? Notice what
it says in verse 22, even the righteousness of God, which is
by the faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that
believe. And that is who this is for,
this perfect righteousness, the righteousness of God. And I'm
going to get into in just a minute about more about how this can
be. But who is this for? It's given for those who believe. Believe what? Verse 23, for there's no difference. For all have sinned and come
short of the glory of God. Now those who believe, believe
this. They believe there's no difference between the most moral
man alive and the most immoral man alive before God. You believe
that? There's no difference. between
the most religious, morally upright man in the world and the most
sinful, vile, wicked man in the world. Not before God. There
is no difference for all have sinned and come short of the
glory of God. That's what these people believe.
The ones who believe, they believe all have sinned and come short
of the glory of God. Believe what? Well, let's go
on reading verse 24. These people who have sinned
and come short of the glory of God being justified freely by
His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Believe
what? Being justified freely by His
grace through the redemption that's in Christ Jesus. Now,
in a court of law, When a judge justifies somebody, what does
that mean? You know what it means. It means
they're not guilty. It means whatever they've been
accused of, they were not guilty of committing that crime. It
means they never sinned. If you're justified by the judge,
that means you stand before that judge without guilt. You never
did anything. Don't you want to be in that
position? Being justified. Now how can this be? You are not guilty of the crime
laid to your charge. How can this be? Because I have
committed those crimes. How could this be that I could
be justified? Well, it is through the redemption,
being justified freely by His grace, through the redemption,
the redeeming work of Christ on Calvary's tree. Turn with
me to 2 Corinthians chapter 5. This is what was going on. Verse 18, and all things are
of God. Boy, I'm so happy I can say that.
All things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus
Christ, and given to us the ministry of reconciliation to wit, namely,
that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them, and hath committed to us the word
of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors
for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us. We pray you
in Christ's name, be ye reconciled to God. For He, God the Father,
hath made Him, the Lord Jesus Christ, to be sin for us. That's why He was on the cross.
He was made sin. He was made guilt. All the sins
of all of God's elect became His sins. God did this. He can
do that. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no
sin, Christ never sinned, that we might be made the righteousness
of God in Him. Now that is the heritage of every
believer. Because of the redeeming work
of Christ, I can be made the very righteousness, I am made
the very righteousness of God in Him. Now, is there anything
I need to pay for this? Is there anything I need to do
or be or pay to have this great blessing of being justified and
having the very righteousness of God? Is there anything I have
to pay? Therefore, having been justified,
what's the next word? Freely. Freely. That means without a cause in
you. You don't have anything to bring
to the table, but you don't have to bring anything to the table.
This is free. The one qualification you have
to have in order to have this great blessing is to have nothing
to pay. If you have nothing to bring,
this is for you to be justified freely by His grace through the
redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Who initiated all this? Is it something some man made
up? Look in verse 25. Whom God hath set forth. Romans 3.25. Whom God has set
forth. Now that word is used three times
in the New Testament and the other two times it's translated
purposed. Purposed. I'll tell you who initiated
all this. God did. It was His purpose whom
God set forth. As a matter of fact, before there
was ever a sinner, there was a Savior. He's called the Lamb
slain from the foundation of the world. And all this is according
to His purpose. You see, this was all before. I mean, you never had anything
to do with it. God purposed this to save sinners. Now, let's go on reading. God
purposed this before time began, whom God has set forth to be
a propitiation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness
for the remission of sins that are passed through the forbearance
of God. That's a big word that we don't
use very often, isn't it? Propitiation. Well, first, what does it mean? It means a sin-removing sacrifice. That's what a propitiation is.
It's a sin-removing sacrifice. Now, what about sin? What is
sin? Well, sin is what the sinner
does. You've got to begin with the
sinner before their sin. You see, you don't become a sinner
when you commit sin. You commit sin because you're
a sinner. A sinner commits sin and there's nothing he can do
to get rid of his sin. A sinner is somebody who all they do is
sin. They cannot not sin. They cannot
look down their nose at anybody. They have no rights, no claims
on God. They're sinners. Now, what can
be done to have their sin removed? This propitiation. That's what
it's called, a propitiation. Whom God has set forth to be
a propitiation, a sin removing sacrifice. You see, my sin was
placed in Christ. He became guilty of it. He died
and he removed it. It was made to not be. I don't
bear it anymore. Now somebody may ask, How can
one man hanging on a cross for six hours, propitiate, remove,
cause all the sins of millions and millions of people to be
gone? How can that be? This one man. How can him hanging
on a cross for six hours remove the sins of millions and millions
of people? And vile sins, great sins. horrible sins, sins that are
just evil and ungodly and wicked. How can he do it? If I hung on the cross for you,
what good would it do you? Nothing. I'm a sinner myself,
I can't do anything for you. But the infinite worth of this
one who hung on the cross, he is worth more infinitely worth
more than all men, women, boys and girls put together. The infinite
worth of the Son of God. Because He bore those sins and
put them away. I love where Paul says, Who is
He that condemneth? It's Christ that died. Yea, rather
that's risen again who's even at the right hand of God. God set him forth to be a propitiation,
and don't miss this, through faith in his blood. Do you have faith in his blood? Do you believe that his blood
is all that's needed to make you clean before God? Nothing else is needed. I've heard people say, I don't
trust the work of Christ, I trust Christ. Well, yeah, but you can't
trust Christ without trusting his work. Faith in his blood. Do you believe that if Christ
died for you, nothing is needed for your full and complete salvation? Do you have faith in His blood? Whom God has set forth to be
propitiation through faith in His blood to declare His righteousness
for the remission of sins that are passed through the forbearance
of God to declare, I say at this time, His righteousness that
He might be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Now here's what the gospel declares. If you're forgiven, it doesn't
say you're forgiven because he's merciful or because he's gracious,
although he is. It says you're forgiven because
of his righteousness. His righteousness demands your
salvation. That's what the gospel declares,
the very righteousness of God that demands your salvation. Now, you see if Christ died for
you, you must be saved. The righteousness of God demands
it. You know, that's, once again,
that's why I hate that preaching that says Jesus Christ died for
all men and made all men savable, but it's up to you as to whether
or not you'll be saved. You gotta do something to make
what he did work for you. Do you mean to tell me that Christ
can die for your sins and you'd have to pay for them yourself
after that? That would make God unjust. That would make God evil
for him to do so. There's no justice about that.
But everyone Christ died for, the very righteousness of God
demands their salvation. When I'm brought before God in
judgment, who can condemn me? Well, what about the things you
did? It's Christ that died. I can't be condemned for anything.
Because it's Christ that died, yea, rather that's risen again,
who's even at the right hand of God, who maketh intercession
for us. This declares his righteousness. Now, I want you to remember this.
I know I'm preaching too long. I'll be finishing in a couple
of minutes. There's only two religions. The religion of works and the
religion of grace. what you do or what he does for
you. Two religions. Ask the Orthodox Jew, how are
you saved? Through keeping the law. Ask
the Muslim, how are you saved? Why? By obeying the Quran and
by keeping the holy days. Ask the Christian, how are you
saved? By the righteousness of somebody else. I've broken every
law, all I've done is sin, and I'm saved because Christ put
those sins away, and I'm saved by the righteousness of somebody
else. I'm saved by grace. I can't boast, and look in verse
27, where is boasting then? What can you boast in and say,
at least I did this? It is excluded. You can't even
boast an act of your will because it's God that worketh in you
both to will and to do His good pleasure. Every aspect of salvation
is by His grace. We can't boast, take credit for
a thing. Verse 28, therefore we conclude,
here's our conclusion, that a man is justified by faith, looking
to Christ only, faith in His blood, without the deeds of the
law. Is he the God of the Jews only?
Is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, seeing
as one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith and
uncircumcision through faith. Do we make void the law through
faith? God forbid, yea, we establish the law. Now let me tell you
how you can honor the holy law of God. Well, somebody says,
I try to keep it. You do not. That is a lie. You do not try to keep it. Well, I do my best. Your best
is no good. There's no honor to God's law
like that. The only way you can truly honor the holy law of God
is by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. That's it. To believe that Christ is your
righteousness before God. Now that is the message that
I would attempt to bring to someone who has never heard the gospel. God is holy. God is sovereign. There's nothing you can do to
be saved. You stand guilty before this
God and there's nothing you can do to change your condition But
that doesn't mean there ain't any hope. There's a righteousness
of God without the law, being witnessed by the law and the
prophets. This is what the scripture teaches. Even the righteousness
of God, which is by the faith of Jesus Christ unto all and
upon all them that believe. Do you believe? Now, I'm not
asking you if you believe you're saved. You may believe you're
saved and not be. Do you believe what I preached
is the gospel? May God give us all saving faith. Let's pray.
