The Bible teaches that the wrath of man ultimately serves to praise God, as seen in Psalm 76:10.
In Psalm 76:10, we read, 'The wrath of man shall praise thee; the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.' This verse highlights the idea that even the anger and hostility of humanity can be used by God to fulfill His divine purposes. Throughout scripture, especially at the crucifixion of Christ, we see the extreme expressions of human wrath being redirected to glorify God. The scorn of those who mocked Jesus was part of God's sovereign plan and resulted in the ultimate manifestation of His grace through the redemption of sinners.

The evidence of Jesus being the Son of God is rooted in scripture and his fulfilled prophecy as well as His divine authority and nature.
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is identified as the Son of God, a claim affirmed by His actions and the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. In John 19:7, the Jewish response to Pilate acknowledges this when they assert that He makes Himself the Son of God. Additionally, faith in Jesus as the Son of God is essential for salvation, as seen in the declaration of the Ethiopian eunuch who recognized Him in Acts 8:37. Believing in Jesus as God the Son signifies acknowledging His divine authority and power, and it is through such belief that we enter into the new covenant of grace.

The blood of Jesus is crucial for Christians as it signifies atonement for sin and is the means through which believers are justified before God.
In the message, it is emphasized that Christ's blood is our covering and the basis of our justification. Hebrews 9:22 states that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. When the leaders said, 'His blood be upon us and our children' in Matthew 27:25, they unwittingly expressed the desire for atonement. For believers, His blood signifies their redemption and standing before God, as it is through the blood that God sees them justified. The blood of Christ is not just a symbol; it represents the actual atonement made on behalf of the elect, ensuring their sins are forgiven and they are reconciled to God.

Jesus' sacrifice exemplifies His love in that He willingly endured suffering for the redemption of sinners.
The nature of Christ's sacrificial love is demonstrated in His willingness to go to the cross, knowing that it was necessary for the salvation of His people. In the sermon, it is pointed out that Jesus' refusal to save Himself was a manifestation of His love, as He chose to bear the full weight of God’s wrath on our behalf. Romans 5:8 reveals this truth, stating, 'But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' His sacrificial act is the highest expression of love, showing that He was willing to take upon Himself the judgment and punishment that we deserved. This selfless act unites believers with Him and assures them of their secured position as children of God.
