Warm greetings, friends. Near
and far, the Lord Jesus Christ be magnified forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This is Senator Save coming at
you with the following short evangelistic gospel message.
And God willing, this broadcast will reach you, Lima Charlie,
loud and clear. It is my hope and prayer unto
God Most High, the only Holy Father, that His only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord Our Righteousness, be greatly exalted,
that His everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed, that the
pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and that His
elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted in these
evil and perilous times. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. HEADS UP! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy and wretched sinners
by His sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
in His unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. Following Jesus. I am born for
God only. Christ is nearer to me than father
or mother or sister, a near relation, a more affectionate friend, and
I rejoice to follow Him and to love Him. Blessed Jesus, You
are all I want, a forerunner to me in all I ever shall go
through as a Christian, a minister, or a missionary. And that was
from Henry Martin, 19th century missionary to India and Persia.
The Lord Jesus says, my sheep hear my voice and they follow
me. As believers, our whole life
is to be one continuously following the Lord Jesus. We started our
Christian journey by looking to Jesus. Why change this? Remember when you got saved?
Looking to Jesus by faith brought peace to your soul. It was wonderful,
but for many, the wonder has faded. The reason is tragic. We are no longer looking unto
Jesus. Have you moved away from the
simplicity in Christ Jesus? Horatius Bonar, one of the mighty
Scottish preachers of the 19th century said, As a Christian,
should your eye ever be withdrawn from the cross, you'll be sure
to go backwards to grow cold and to forget that you were purged
from your old sins. A reference to 2 Peter 1.9. That
cross is life, health, holiness, consolation, strength, and joy. Let nothing come between it and
you. The way to follow is to look
unto Jesus. We may think we know this, but
when we play follow the leader, we should check to see who is
the head of the line. Are you sure you are following
Jesus? Give yourself a spiritual checkup. Maybe your leader is your church,
your career, your ambitions, or your dreams. Is Jesus really
your leader and life? It takes spiritual strength to
become a real follower. And here's a lesson to be learned.
Our help comes from Him. See Psalm 121 verses one and
two. So, who are we following today? Is it Him? If we are following
Him, it is because of grace. Grace is a conqueror. I love
what W.T. Walston once said, and I quote,
Christ blessed, healed, and helped people right and left by the
thousands. Yet He never urged one such to
follow Him. Not one. He never told anyone
who had been healed by his mighty power to follow him. No, grace
does not buy hearts, it wins them! As His followers, we can
thank Him for His grace toward us. It was grace that won us. And remember, no matter how dedicated
we are to Him, we still need His grace moment by moment. Why? Because although we are
believers, we are still sinners through and through. What suitable
candidates! Therefore, we are for the grace
of God. As we look daily unto Jesus and
live in His grace, we will not, as some contend, sin more. On the contrary, grace gives
us a clear understanding of the nature of sin. and makes it more
wretched and contemptible in our own eyes. Grace will break
us and cause us to see that the Lord Jesus willingly endured
the most painful, horrible, and disgraceful death for us. The more we know of the sacrificial
love of Jesus for us, the more we will hate those sins which
put Him on the cross. May we think often and continually
of Jesus and meditate on Him and His cross. Be Thou my vision,
O Lord of my heart, not be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best thought, by day
or by night, waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light. And that's the Gospel Truth.
That was from preacher Myles McKee. A reading from 2 Corinthians
4, 4. The light of the glorious gospel
of Christ, who is the image of God. Oh, what beauty and blessedness
shine forth in the gospel when we view it connected with the
person and work of the Son of God. Take the doctrines of grace
isolated from the person of Christ, their scattered limbs, there
is no beauty in them, but view the truths of the gospel in connection
with the person and work of the Son of God. What a heavenly light,
what a divine glory is cast upon every truth connected with his
sacred person, atoning blood, finished work, and dying love. This is the way to receive the
gospel, not as a thing of shreds and patches, a mere collection
or scheme of certain doctrines floating up and down God's word
as waifs and strays from a stranded ship, but as one harmonious gospel
full of grace, mercy, and truth, impregnated with divine blessedness
and all connected with, all springing out of, the person of the God-man. how it seems to lift us up for
a time whilst the feeling lasts, above sin, misery, and wretchedness,
to view our completeness in Christ, to see our interest in His finished
work, to behold ourselves members of His mystical body, to triumph
in His holy triumphs, to rejoice in His victories, and to ascend
with Him above the smoke and stir of this dim spot that men
call earth. As one might rise out of the
London fog into a pure atmosphere and bask on some mountaintop
in the bright beams of the sun, so the dear saint of God, when
he is privileged to read his title clear, see his name in
the book of life, feel the love of God in his heart, and rejoice
in Christ, is lifted up above the fog and smoke of this dim
spot, and sitting with Christ in heavenly places, He feels
a sweet victory over every foe, internal, external, and infernal. And there is no other way whereby
we can get out of it. like a man in the London fog
struggling with fog in the east, west, north, south. Fog and smoke
all around. So it is whilst we are struggling
onward with sin and self, north, south, east, and west, there
is nothing but fog. Fog, deep and dense. We must
be raised out of it to the mountaintop. And this only can be by being
lifted up by a sweet testimony of interest in the blood and
love of the Son of God. Excuse me, friends. This lifts
up. This lifts out. This gives strength. And this alone will give victory.
And so far as we fall short of realizing these precious things,
we grope for the wall like the blind and stumble in desolate
places like dead men. It is true that, for the most
part, the saints of God only have a little of these blessed
things, from time to time, just brought in and taken away, but
sufficient to taste their sweetness, to know their beauty, to see
their glory, and therefore sufficient, whilst they last, to help them
onward in their course and keep them struggling on till they
reach that eternal glory. Excellent message from old-timer
preacher J.C. Philpott. When Jesus drank the
cup of divine wrath in the place of the believer, and all who
will ever believe on him, he drank that cup dry. If you belong to Christ, then
there is nothing left in that cup of indignation for you, dearly
beloved, because your Lord drank every drop in your place. It was not only an efficacious
offering, but vicarious as well. As it is written in 2 Corinthians
5.21, For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin,
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. And also Galatians
3.13. Christ hath redeemed us from
the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written,
Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree." That was from a preacher,
Lucien Lesage. It is written in Isaiah 45, 22,
where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else.
And the Lord Jesus Christ also says in Matthew 11, verses 28
through 30, come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest
unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden
is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us
are promised another day on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while He may be found, and seek Him while He
is near. only by being in Christ, the
ark of our salvation, may we be delivered from the fierce
wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our
righteousness. Yehovah Sidkenu! Bless the name! Baruch Hashem! Holy One of Israel! HaKadosh Yisrael! Hallelujah! If you are led of the Lord to

Almighty God's everlasting gospel around the world, and to the
glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, the soon-coming Son of Righteousness,
rising with healing in His wings unto those that fear Him in His
holy name. Talk about a glorious future,
people. great is our Lord Jesus Christ,
and greatly to be praised." Take heart, friends! Our mighty and
glorious King of Glory is inbound for His afflicted saints! Even
so, come quickly, Lord Jesus! Maranatha!
