The sermon titled "Storm Warning #7" emphasizes the doctrine of Sovereign Grace and the necessity of regeneration as a work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. Key arguments highlight that Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, possesses all authority over creation, asserting His sovereignty over both history and individual salvation. Key Scripture references include Matthew 28:18, John 3:3, and Ephesians 2:1, which collectively affirm that spiritual rebirth is entirely a divine act, emphasizing that individuals cannot effect their salvation through personal effort or will but solely through God's sovereign grace. The practical significance of this teaching lies in the exhortation for listeners to trust in Christ as their only source of salvation and to recognize the urgency of responding to the gospel now, underscoring an eschatological awareness amidst life's uncertainties.

Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. This is Sinner Saved coming at
you, and the following short evangelistic gospel message is
sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd and the Brethren in Christ at
First Baptist Church located in Almonte, Michigan, USA. And God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God Most High, the only Holy Father, that His
only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord Our Righteousness, be
greatly exalted, that His everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that His elect saints be greatly encouraged and comforted in these
evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekly
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find
enclosed encouragement in so great salvation by the perfect
and finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor,
needy, and wretched sinners by his sovereign free grace. That
is to say, Almighty God and His unmerited favor to save me and
you from our sins and from hell. A reading from 1 Chronicles 29
11. Thine, O Lord, is the greatness
and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty for
all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine. Thine
is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. Universal Rain. Like you, I read
in the paper and watch on television things that are unfolding in
Eastern Europe and other parts of this globe and my heart is
troubled as I behold unspeakable horrors that are happening. Can
I fully explain these things and how they fulfill the purpose
of God? No, I cannot. However, I do believe the word
of God that our Lord Jesus Christ governs all of creation to bring
to pass that which he has determined to do. To the natural man, history
is based upon the random and unpredictable actions of men.
To the child of God, history is the unfolding of the eternal
will and purpose of God. Let us be reminded that the one
who redeemed us by his blood has therefore been exalted to
have all authority and dominion over all people, places, and
things. As we read in Matthew 28, 18,
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given
unto me in heaven and in earth. Thankfully so. Scattered throughout
creation are His covenant children, those given to Him by the Father
in electing grace. It is this holy nation that is
always before the Lord, and He moves all creation and directs
all events in such a fashion as to bring to pass that which
He eternally decreed for His loved ones. Little wonder, therefore,
that David proclaimed, Blessed is the nation whose God is the
Lord and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalm 33, 12. I rejoice that
our Lord is the sovereign ruler of earth and skies. That was
from preacher Jim Bird. Born again. Nicodemus was one
of the leading teachers of Judaism in his day. In fact, the Lord
said he was a master in Israel, John 3.10. This man was a teacher
of the Jewish clerics and other religious instructors. One night,
God providentially brought this man to the incarnate Son of God,
and from the lips of the Lord of glory, he was confronted with
a truth with which he was altogether ignorant. The Lord or master
saying in John 3, 3, verily, verily, I say unto you, except
a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. What
is it to be born again? It is to be born from above,
to be quickened, regenerated and made alive. It is to be begotten
by God into the kingdom of grace and salvation. All of us were
born into this world physically alive, but void of spiritual
life. Paul wrote to the Ephesian church,
reminding them of the miraculous work of grace the Lord had performed
in their hearts and said to them, and you hath he quickened who
were dead in trespasses and in sins. Ephesians 2, 1. As a result
of Adam's transgression, not only did that representative
man die spiritually, but all of mankind whom he represented
died as well. Please see Romans 5.12. The fall
of Adam left us all dead in trespasses and in sins. Our great need,
therefore, is for spiritual life. Some speak of believing on Christ
and tell us that faith in the Savior is the way to be born
again. But they are putting the proverbial
cart before the horse. When Christ declared to Martha,
I am the resurrection and the life, he went on to say, he that
liveth and believeth on me shall never die. John 11, 25 through
26. Note the order here, friends.
Liveth and believeth, not believeth and liveth. The great need of
every sinner is to be an object of the life-giving power of the
Holy Spirit, which results in faith and confidence in the Son
of God, the only Savior of sinners. Make no mistake about it, the
new birth, being born from above, being made alive, is nothing
less than a spiritual resurrection. Our Lord Jesus is the only giver
of life, be it physical, spiritual, eternal, or everlasting. Physical
life, is the life of the body. Spiritual life is the life of
the soul given us in the new birth by which the Lord, using
the word of the gospel, births sinners into the kingdom of God. Eternal life is the right knowledge
of God and of Christ. Please see John 17, two through
three. Very important scripture. An
everlasting life is the length of the gracious saving gifts
of the Lord. Only the crucified, buried, risen,
and exalted Savior is able to give life to sinners who so desperately
need it. And know this, to give or not
to give it is His prerogative. The Son quickeneth whom He will,
said the Master in John 5, 21. It is recorded that when the
Lord Jesus came to this earth, the world received him not, but
as many as received him, that means believed and trusted in
Christ, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe in his name. John 1 verses 11 through 12.
Lots of religious people are quick to make reference to these
two verses, but neglect including the next verse, which not only
reveals the reason many received him, but also completes the sentence. We are thankful to the Spirit
of God, who is very clear as to where the spiritual life comes
from that enables needy sinners to believe Christ. He gives us
the reason why some do indeed receive, rest in, and embrace
the Lord Jesus as the only Savior of sinners. We're talking about
verse 13, friends, which were born, that is, resurrected, quickened,
regenerated, Not of blood, not of our blood, nor of the will
of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Again, that
was verse 13. Friends, that there is the gospel
truth. Him that glorieth, let him glory
in the Lord. From death to life eternal, Philippians
121. For me to live is Christ and
to die is gain. My Lord Jesus is the giver of
life. He is the sum and substance of
life. He is my hope of life, eternal. My hope is to see him, to be
like him, to be with him forever. Therefore, for me to die is gain.
I will be released from age and pain and gain a perfect body.
I will be free from this sinful flesh and gain sinless perfection. I will be free from every trial,
every heartache, and live in perfect rest and joy. I will
enjoy perfect knowledge, immortality, and everlasting peace. Gain is
a weak word to describe such glory. What is it then to make
us so fearful of death and so reluctant to part with this world?
We may give a lot of reasons and feel that we are sincere
and our reasons valid, but to be perfectly honest, our problem
is the weakness of our faith in him and his word. Our Lord
Jesus said, O ye of little faith, wherein do ye doubt? Wherein
do we doubt? His love for sinners? Question
mark, I should put it that way. He gave himself for us. The efficacy
of his blood? It cleanses us from all sin.
The reality of heaven? If it were not so, I would have
told you, said the master. The awesome miracle of being
changed from the image of the earthy to the image of the heavenly?
Is anything too hard for God? Here is where Abraham found righteousness. He believed God and was persuaded
that what God had promised, he was able also to perform. Life eternal in Christ for those
who believe is what he has promised and he will perform. Sirs, I
believe God that it shall be even as it was told me. Welcome
death for when death comes life eternal That was from preacher
Henry Mahan who's now with the master in paradise Ephesians 5 8 for you are sometimes
darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord walk as children
of light and Keep close to the Word of God. Try the doctrines.
Try the spirits thereby, whether they be of God. The Word of the
Lord is a lamp to you and a light for you. You will do well to
make good use of it. When is light so useful as in
the night season? It is so now. Therefore, take
your lamp or light in your hand and walk closely by the word
of God, wherein ye do well to take heed as unto a light that
shineth in a dark place. Blessed is that servant whom
the Lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing. And that was from
old time preacher, John Gill. Modern religion has convinced
lost religious men and women that God has changed the way
he deals with men. Therefore, we, so they say, have
to change the way we approach lost sinners. Most religion no
longer emphasizes the doctrines of grace, but have replaced doctrine
with emotionalism and sentimentalism. It seems like doctrine, that
is to say scriptural teaching, is a dirty word to this generation. Sadly, most people would rather
sing or give testimonies or be entertained than hear about the
glorious person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ. And that timely
message was from preacher Richard Wormack. It is written in Isaiah
45, 22, where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me
and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and
there is none else. And the master says in Matthew
11, 28 through 30, come unto me all ye that labor and are
heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and
learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find
rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden
is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow. For none of us
are promised another day on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
while he may be found, and seek him while he is near. Only by
being in Christ, the ark of our salvation, may we be delivered
from the fierce wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon
the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world, near and far, to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus,
the Lord our righteousness, Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless His holy name
forever and ever. If you'd like to communicate,
then please feel free to write. The email address is thelordbmagnifiedatgmail.com. And I'd be real interested as
to where you live, what country you're from. And I will try to
answer all letters that come this way. Great is our Lord Jesus
Christ, and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends. Our mighty
and glorious King of Glory and Son of Righteousness is inbound
for His afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha!
