I started out last week studying
for a message on prophecy tonight, and then got into the practical
part that we gave you this morning, so tonight we will look at the
model prayer, verses 9 through 13. We'll just read these verses
again this evening. Matthew chapter 6, verses 9 through
13. Therefore, you pray like this. Our Father, the one in the heavens,
let your name be revered. Let your kingdom come. Let your
will be done as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily
bread and forgive us our debtors as we also forgave our debtors,
and bring us not into trial, but deliver us from the evil."
Now, some translate it evil one, and we'll discuss that to some
extent tonight.
