Hebrews chapter 13, I mean Hebrews chapter 12, I'm
sorry. Hebrews chapter 12, the title of the message is Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant. Let's read these words in verse
18 as we get down to our text. The Scripture says, that burned with fire, nor unto
blackness, and when darkness, and tempest, and the sound of
the trumpet, and the voice of words, which voice they heard,
entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more,
for they could not endure that which was commanded. And if so
much as a beast touched the mountain, It shall be stoned or thrust
through with a dart. And so terrible was the sight
that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake. But you are come
unto Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly
Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general
assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,
and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made
perfect." And here it is, "...and to Jesus, the mediator of the
new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better
things than that of Abel." Now, last time we looked at this chapter,
we saw nine comforting things. Nine comforting things in this
text for those who are weary, those fainting believers whose
hands are hanging down, whose feeble knees seem to be ready
to buckle and fall away. He says this, by this metaphor,
he says, you are not come to Mount Sinai, which is the law. This is the first thing that
should comfort you out of this, believer, is you are free from
the law. Free from the law. The law is
pictured by Mount Sinai with that mountain that burned with
fire that could be touched. But what happened when they touched
it? They were to be killed. Listen, you put your hand to
the law, you put your hand to the work of the law, this is
what's going to happen, you will be killed by the justice of God. You remember that song, uh, in
wrapped in thick Egyptian night and fond of darkness more than
light. I madly ran the sinful race secure
without a hiding place But thus the eternal counsel ran, all
mighty love, arrest that man. Indignant justice stood in view,
to Sinai's fiery mount I flew. But justice cried with frowning
face, this mountain is no hiding place. Praise God we are not come to
Mount Sinai. This is a joyful thing. You are
come to Mount Sion. That's verse 22. You are come
not to that mount. You are come to a holy mount. You are come to a mount where
God meets with sinners. where the temple of God was placed,
where the sacrifices were made. And we know this, that Christ
is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. The second thing we saw is we
have access to God. He said, you have come not only
to Mount Zion, but to the city of the living God. You have come
to the living God. You have access by Christ into
the very presence of God at any time. The third thing is you're
citizens of heaven. You have been made citizens not
by merit, not by blood, not by where you are. We're citizens
of this country because we were born here. People are citizens
of this country because they paid to get in here. They did
some things, they merited their citizenship. Our citizenship
is by no merit or no blood, not in heaven. But our names are
what? Written down. Written down citizens by the
grace and power of God. The fourth thing is we're surrounded
by an innumerable company of angels. ministering spirits,
sent to minister unto the elect, surrounded by them, so as that
we should not dash our foot against the stone. Our God always is
working these angels for our good, to be our help. The fifth thing is that we are
sons and heirs of God. He said you're the General Assembly
and Church of the Firstborn. which are written in heaven.
The seventh thing, you have fellowship with all saints to the spirits
of just men made perfect. Those at this present time, we
are in union with you. This morning, I am in union with
you. If you are in Christ, I am in Christ. We have the same body,
the same Lord, same faith, same baptism, same citizenship, same
God, same offering, sacrifice. We have everything in common.
And we are also in union with those that will come. But what
Paul here has an idea is, you are in union with those that
have already come and gone. Just men, made perfect. What
does that song say? More happy, but not more secure?
Are there glorified spirits in heaven? You see, they are this
crowd of witnesses we have. They have run the race. They
have finished their course. And God was faithful to keep
them. And so then, what does that say
to you? God will also be faithful to keep you. We are in union
with them. And if they made it, we will
make it. This is what this is telling us, encouraging us. And
the eighth thing was that Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant. And the last thing was the sprinkling
of the blood of Christ speaks of mercy and forgiveness and
not wrath. These eight, these nine things.
But let these things comfort you. As you read through this,
remember these things. Put them in your mind. Write
them down for your own comfort. Because if you're not faint now,
you will be. The way is not always smooth.
If it is smooth, praise God. Praise God for the smooth times,
but there are not many in the believer's life. And so if you're
about to faint, keep these things in mind. But this morning, I
felt led of the Spirit of God to speak concerning these last
things, to be more specific concerning verse 24. These last two things,
the Jesus, the mediator, the new covenant, and the sprinkling
of blood. Now, coming to this, in verse
23, the apostle, at that point, begins to do away with the metaphor.
He said there was a metaphor of two mountains, but now he's
just opening the curtain, and he's saying, okay, this is what
it really is. This is no more a picture I'm
giving you, but you are believers in Christ. He tells us plainly
that we are in union with the whole church, the whole church,
the general assembly and church of the firstborn. Now you know
that word firstborn, I didn't know this, I had to look it up
because it's not right there. It's plural. It's not talking
about Christ. Christ is the firstborn. Remember,
Paul said that in Romans 8. He said that we are predestinated
that Christ should be the firstborn among many brethren. But this is firstborns. Firstborns. What does that mean? It means
you have all the rights and privileges of firstborn sons. That's what
you've come to. You believe, you've come to this.
You have the same rights and privileges as the firstborn,
Jesus Christ. You being one with Christ, according
to the election of grace, God put you in Christ, and as Christ,
by His life and death and resurrection, has obtained all the blessings
of God, you as adopted sons, redeemed sons, and born-again
sons, now have all of His inheritance. Isn't that what Paul said? You
are heirs, and join heirs with Jesus Christ. Sonship is common
among the whole elect. That's why it says general assembly. Now the word assembly, it's used
specifically for this. It's a gathering of rejoicing,
a time of celebration. When you have a time of celebration,
they call that an assembly. That's what it was called. When
they had feast days, that was an assembly. You realize that
this is an assembly of joy. This is an assembly of joy. All believers should rejoice
because you are sons of God, heirs, and join heirs with Christ. This should cause us to be joyful. He has paid our ransom and all
the benefits of sonship are ours, such as pardon for sins, peace
that endureth. Thine own dear presence to cheer
and to guide. This is the benefits you receive
daily. Daily these are your benefits.
Always your benefits. Why? Because God doesn't change.
God doesn't change. And so your benefits of being
sons never change. And notice it is the general
assembly. Now listen, this is not general
and common to all men. We know this, we know not all
men are part of the general assembly. But why he's using this term
general assembly, let us know that this is not just for us
here in this moment, in this time, in a specific place, but
rather for all the saints. You see the vastness of his salvation,
the greatness of his salvation. How great was it for him to save
you? It was great. Now how great is it for Him to
save all of His elect? Consider the greatness of that
salvation, the greatness that He gathers the whole assembly
together. And seeing we are sons of God,
what is the evidence of such great things? It is faith. Faith! Are you part of this General
Assembly and Church of the Firstborn? Well, do you believe on Christ?
Remember what Paul said, you who are sons. He said, because
you are sons, God sent forth his spirit into your heart, crying,
Abba, Father, because you are sons. And so, like those saints
before us, we all are just men. Not merely men. Justified men. That's what it means. Not just
men, but justified men. This is a benefit of our union
with Christ. We are justified by who? The
judge of all. The judge of all justifies us. Look there upon the throne of
God and see that none shall stand before Him guilty. You realize
that? That nobody will stand before
God, be able to stand before God who is guilty of sin. No
one. Who shall ascend unto the hill
of the Lord? Who shall stand in His holy place?
Well, you know the answer to that is only one, He. Not them,
not they, but He. He that hath clean hands and
a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity nor sworn
deceitfully, only he shall receive thee only blessing from the Lord
and righteousness from the God of his salvation. You know that
only worthy one was Jesus Christ. Only he was without sin, pure
of heart in word and deed. And so then, how does the General
Assembly then ascend into the presence of God? Only by Him. By His mediation. That's what
he's getting to here. You have come and you're going
to be made perfect. How? By Jesus, the Mediator of
the New Covenant. It was only by His righteousness
in death And we could, that he would atone
for our sins as our high priest in media. You realize nobody
went to Zion? Nobody come to Zion without two
things, a priest and a sacrifice. Now Zion was a place of rejoicing.
Zion was a place where God would meet with sinners, but he would
never meet with you without those two things. a priest, a mediator,
and a offering, a sacrifice, both of which you and I did not
provide, but was provided for us." You realize that? The people
of Israel never provided their priest. God chose their priest.
God picked out the sacrifice that was to be made on the great
day of atonement when he entered in. They cast lots on those beasts. And God chose out his beast,
his sacrifice. And Jesus Christ is both. He
is our priest and our offering, by which we are a part of the
general assembly and rejoice in coming to Zion. the city of
the living God, by His work. We are made just and spotless
before God, sinless by our union with Christ, and now the veil
of the temple is rent. You see, He didn't go in year
after year. He didn't make offerings year after year. The Lord Jesus
Christ, our mediator, went in one time with His own blood.
And after that, the veil of the temple was rent in twain, and
the way was made open. Open! You know that, that the
way is open? You know the way is open to God?
It's open! It's open by Jesus Christ. He
is the way to God, the truth and the life. No man comes to
God but by Him. But if you come by Him, you come
to God. Come by Him, you come to God. Now we who have come
to Zion, part of this General Assembly, Made holy by the blood
of Christ, yet it doth not yet appear what we shall be. Everybody
got ready this morning. Everybody looked in the mirror.
At some point you had to look at it. You had to look at it. It just don't appear what we're
going to be. I can't see it, can you? When I look in the mirror,
I can't see it. I see sin. I see weakness, I
see frailty, I see unbelief, I see fear, I see everything
that I should not be. But I know this, in Him I am
perfect. He is my mediator. By His blood He has washed our
sins. And so we are still prone to
all and every sin but leaving Christ. And as we look at those
who've gone before us, those who have this same body of Christ,
the same benefits, the same General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn,
we too shall be just men made perfect in Christ. Now what Paul
says in that previous chapter, in chapter 10 and verse 14, he
says, by his one offering he hath perfected, hath perfected
forever them that are sanctified. Forever. When Jesus comes to receive us
into that heavenly city, We shall then be without sin, without
this old nature, and we shall be like Christ, for we shall
see Him as He is. Then shall we worship Him freely,
without any burden, without any trouble, without any grief, without
any sorrow, without any regret, without anything to hinder us. We shall enjoy His presence forever
and ever and be satisfied. I tell you what, I may be satisfied
for about 15 minutes with things. But that satisfaction don't last.
You got to have something else, don't you? Then I won't need
anything else. He will be enough to satisfy
my soul for eternity. But now how is this accomplished?
How is all this done? How were we made sons of God,
heirs of heaven, joint heirs with Christ? For by nature we
were not such. By nature we were vile, corrupt. How then could we obtain such
perfections? The answer is found in your text.
Look at this in verse 24. Here it is. Here is how you are
made sons. Because you have come to Jesus,
the mediator of the new covenant. New covenant. You are made sons
by a covenant. A covenant. Now what is a covenant?
Everybody has an idea of what a covenant is. It's a contract
of sorts. It's one man desiring something
and another man contracting to pay a price for that object,
whatever it is. We just, we bought a piece of
land, we entered into a covenant, a contract with them. They wanted
the money, we wanted the land, we exchanged and we got it. But this covenant is much deeper
than that. That's just a frivolous covenant
over things that don't even really belong to us. That belongs to
God. And so, but this covenant is much greater because it deals
with the souls of men. It has to do with the glory of
God. and the souls of men." You see, this covenant of God
was a covenant made by God and with Himself for you. You see it's not really a covenant
made with you. There's many times in the scripture
God says I will make with you a covenant. Now he is not making
a covenant as one equal to another. When we make covenants, we make
a covenant as equals, don't we? You have something superior that
I want, and I have something you want. In this covenant, it
is only God making the covenant for you. And so then the covenant
is made with you in this sense. God commands it. When God says,
I will make a covenant with you, that means there is a covenant
and He's not asking. God doesn't ask us to enter into
a covenant. He's telling us that the covenant
has already been made. He's informing us that the covenant
is for us. It is one made by Himself. This
is why it is called an eternal covenant, an everlasting covenant. Why? Because you weren't there. So this covenant is not made
with you, rather it is made for you by God with Himself. This is the covenant that God
made with Himself. It is a covenant made of the
Father concerning elect sons. Elect sons. Those chosen vessels
of mercy, eternally loved and chosen to be sons. You know this in Ephesians 1
and verse 3 through 6. Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places, according Now where's all these
spiritual blessings and heavenly places come from? According as
He hath chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world.
Why? That you, they, should be made
holy and without blame. What's His motivation? In love. There's his motivation. "...in
love, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children."
Well, how should we be adopted by Jesus Christ unto Himself? Now, why would He do this? "...according
to the riches of His glory, to the praise of the glory of His
grace." That's mentioned at least three times in those verses.
"...to the praise of the glory of His grace." "...to the praise
of the glory of His grace." So this covenant, don't you see
that all aspects of this covenant was made by God with His Son,
with the Holy Spirit, so as to save His people. It's a covenant completely made
outside of us, without our consent. Praise God, because we never
would have consented. This is what God did for you.
He made a covenant for you, a covenant of grace by which the Son of
God should come and fulfill all that God has purposed for you. He said, Lo, I come. In the volume
of the book it is written of me to do thy will, O God, by
the which will we are sanctified. sanctified, and it's the Holy
Spirit's purpose in the covenant of grace to call every elect
sinner and quicken them and keep them until the end. Now then,
I want you to see this covenant. There's many places we can go
to see this covenant in the Old Testament, but let's just go
to Ezekiel. I've chosen this one, Ezekiel chapter 36. See the aspects of this covenant.
Ezekiel chapter 36 and verse 20. We're going to begin there. Scripture says, "...and when
they entered in unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned
My holy name, When they said unto them, These are the people
of the Lord, and are gone forth out of his land, they profaned
his holy name." These people of the covenant, what kind of
people are they? What kind of people are the people
of God's covenant? They are sinners. They are like
these, they went about in the strange land, and profane the
holy name of God." You see, in Adam, we all measure up here. In Adam, all die. By one man's
sin entered into the world, and death by sin, so death passed
upon all men, for all have sinned. And what's the proof of this?
Well, the proof is the old covenant, isn't it? The covenant of law.
That's the proof of all man's spiritual corruption, is that
he cannot and will not obey the law of God. Carnal mind is enmity
against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed,
listen, can be. Can be. Paul said that the natural
man receiveth not the things of God. They are foolish to say
him because he's spiritually discerned. He's spiritually judged,
condemned. Therefore, in Jeremiah 31, the
mention of this same covenant, he says, I'm going to make a
new covenant, not the same that I made with them as they came
out of the land of Egypt. Which covenant they break. And so then, The only motivation, then, for
this covenant is the glory of God. The only motivation for
God to make a covenant with such people is this, His own glory. I think that we misunderstand
God's purpose in saving sinners. We think it's really for us,
but it's all about Him. Everything he does is for his
own glory. Everything he does is for his
own glory. Isn't that what he says here?
Look back at this covenant. The people of the covenant, they're
sinners, they're profane. So what's the motivation? Verse
21. But I had pity for my holy name. which the house of Israel
had profaned among the heathen, whither they went. Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God, I do
this not for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my own holy
name's sake, which you have profaned among the heathen, whither you
went. I will sanctify my great name,
which was profaned among the heathen, which you have profaned
in the midst of them, and the heathen shall know that I am
the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God, when
I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes." You see,
how is His glory going to be displayed? When He saves the
heathen, when He saves sinners. That's how His glory is manifest. When I'm sanctified in you. When
I make you holy, my name's gonna be great. He does it for his
own namesake. Therefore, believer, as you remember
how it is you were saved, remember, it was not for your sake, but
rather for His. And that's good, because if it was for your sake,
surely He would forsake you. If it was because of you, surely
He would have reason to leave you. But because it's for His
namesake, He has no reason to leave it. He has no reason to
put you off, because He says, I'm doing it for Me. This covenant
is all about God doing it for Himself. You, by His grace, are
included in it. That's glorious. It's wonderful. We only profane His name and
ascend against Him, So if any of Adam's race is ever to be
saved, it must be by grace. It must be! There is no other
way for a sinner to be saved but by grace. It must be in a covenant. It must be in a covenant that
requires nothing from you. Nothing from you. This covenant was made before
you. It was made by God for Himself
concerning you. But you did nothing to merit
it. You did nothing to earn inclusion
in it. It must be a covenant that requires
nothing of us. Why? We are profane people. We have sinned against God. Therefore,
behold, God's determination is to make this covenant. And the
means and end which He purposed is found in verse 23. I will sanctify my great name
in you. I will sanctify my great name,
display my attributes of justice, mercy, grace, and love in saving
sinners. He determined to make the heathen
know, and to worship Him." God's Word is plain. You who have received
Christ and come to this mount, you that have come to Jesus,
the mediator of the new covenant, we know this, it was by the will
of God. By the will of God. As many as received him, to them
gave he the right to become the sons of God which were born,
not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will
of man, but of God." God. God the chosen, loved Jacob. But if he hadn't chosen and loved
Jacob, would not Jacob be as like Esau? Yes. We have come to Christ because
God in the covenant of grace chose us for His own namesake
and His own purpose and glory. And the next thing is this. How
are these that God purposed to save going to be saved? Salvation
of these elect souls was to be accomplished only by a mediator. That's why we have a new covenant. That covenant was made by God,
with God, for the glory of God in saving you." Profane people. How should he do it? By Jesus,
the mediator of the new covenant. By a representative, a high priest. One to fulfill the conditions
of the covenant for the people. What were the conditions? Holiness
and satisfaction of justice. Two conditions of this covenant,
not required of you, but of the mediator. But of the mediator. Unto us a child is born, unto
us a son is given, and the government shall be, where? Upon his shoulders. His name shall be called wonderful. Counselor, the mighty God, the
everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. And the zeal of the
Lord hath done this. It's the zeal of the Lord that
will perform this, he said. And he did. Our Lord Jesus Christ was set
up for this purpose. Look at Proverbs. Proverbs chapter 8. Proverbs
chapter 8. I want you to see that Jesus
in this covenant was set up for this purpose. Proverbs chapter 8 and look at
verse 22. Look at this, "...the Lord possessed
me in the beginning of His way." before his works of old. That
word possessed, that's talking about his unity with God. He
said, I was eternally begotten, possessed, one with the Father
from the beginning of his way. But number two, he says, I was
set up from everlasting, from the beginning wherever the earth
was. Set up for what? Set up to be the Christ. set
up to be the mediator of the covenant, to be the one to fulfill
the terms of the covenant. And look what he says in verse
31, he says, "...rejoicing in the inhabitable part of the earth,
and my delights were with the sons of men." Why? That's who
he represented. He represented the sons of men
as a mediator for them. And see this, believer, that
you were ever the apple of his eye. You were always His love. Let that sink in. He was always set up to be your
mediator. And His eye of love was ever
on you from eternity. This covenant that promised life
and peace and eternal life in heaven, it could not be done
by the elect named in it. So how could we receive such
benefits? Only by a mediator. One to stand
between us and God. One who can represent us as that
high priest. Oh, that's a beautiful picture.
That high priest in his glorious robes with the twelve names of
Israel upon his chest. He takes that offering and He
slays it. And He brings the blood before
God. And God, in the smoke of His
glory, accepts the offering. And He comes out and He says,
You're atoned. Your sins are atoned. That's
exactly what Christ did. He came in and He offered Himself
with the names of His elect on His heart. And he offered himself
to God, and God says, Accept it! And he's now come out, and
the Gospel says, Atonement. Atonement has been made. The
way is open. The covenant is fulfilled. The
mediator has fulfilled the covenant. You know what he said when he
finished that. He said, when justice could demand no more,
he said, it is finished. What was finished? The covenant
was finished. Atonement was finished. Redemption
was finished. Salvation was finished. For all
his elect. All those in the covenant. And
then He sent His Holy Spirit into the world. After He was
raised from the dead, sent His Holy Spirit into the world, so
as to perform His covenant. That's something, isn't it? When
you make a covenant, you make a last will and testament. You
write down all these things, these high dreams you have for
your children. Oh, I'm going to give so-and-so
this. They're just going to love it.
It's going to be great. And then I'm going to give so-and-so
this and that, and they're all going to be so happy when they
get all my stuff when I'm dead. Well, you know what happens when
you're dead. You have absolutely no control
over who's getting what. And pretty soon they're swapping
and trading and they're mad and they're upset and they don't
know. Listen, Jesus Christ, when He died, He gave, that bought
all the benefits for us. But now then, listen, He who
died is alive to make sure you get what He gave you. That's what He's doing right
now. He's making sure that you get all His benefits. There's
not one benefit you'll miss out on. Not one. Why? He's alive. He's making sure.
He's standing by. Standing by. I believe that's
what happened to that Joshua, the high priest. You remember
how Satan was ready to rebuke him and the Lord says, shut up?
He said, don't you say anything about him. You can't condemn
him. And then the Lord said, get the miter, get the rope. And the Lord, the angel of the
Lord stood by. Now what does that mean? He was
making sure it was done. He was making sure it was done.
So what is Christ doing in this covenant of grace? He is making
sure it's done. And how is it done? Look at this.
We'll go over these real quickly. Look at your Ezekiel 36 again. This is the experience of it.
He says this in verse 24, I will take you from among the heathen
and gather you out of all the countries and will bring you
into your own land. This is the new birth. This is
the new birth. He said, I'm going to take you.
Isn't that great? He takes us. He takes us. We weren't willing. Now we are. Why? He took us. From where? Among the heathen. What did he
do to us? He said this, I will sprinkle clean water upon you,
and you shall be clean from all your filthiness and idols. What
is this but the application of the blood of Christ upon our
hearts? Isn't that right? The blood on that day of Passover,
it had to be applied to the door. The angel of the Lord was passing
by, and all that did not have the blood would be killed. But
he said, when I see the blood, I will pass over you. Now the
blood's been shed 2,000 years ago. But now, it's been applied. It's been applied. This is what
He does. He sprinkles clean water, cleans us from all our filthiness.
Look at this, verse 26. He says, a new heart will I give
you, and a new spirit will I put within you. That new heart is
a new nature. The new nature created after
God in true holiness. He that is born of God is a new
creation, Paul says. New creation. And that spirit
that He gives us, what is that? That is the Holy Spirit. He gives us the Holy Spirit.
And He says, I'll take away that stony heart of flesh and will
give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you
and cause you to walk in My statutes and keep My judgments. What is
that but breaking your heart concerning sin? Breaking your
heart concerning sin. He says, I put my spirit in you
so I'll cause you to walk in my statue. What is that but faith
in Christ? Faith in Christ! Believing on
the Son of God. And he said, you shall dwell
in the land that I give your fathers, you shall be my people,
and I will be your God. I will save you, I will also
save you from your uncleanness, and I will call you in the corn
and the wine and increase, and lay no famine upon you. And I
will multiply the fruit of the tree and increase the field,
and you shall receive no more reproach of famine among the
heathen. What is this but growing in the
grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and keeping us all the
way to glory? And what is this? He says, you
shall remember your own evil ways and your doings which are
not good, and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight
for your own iniquities. Anybody got any identification
with that? You are if you're in the New Covenant. If you've
come to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, you know something
about that. You loathe yourself and praise
Christ for all His glorious benefits as our Mediator. And you remember
this, not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord, be it known to
you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O Israel. You see, we have come to Jesus,
the mediator of a new covenant. And listen, His blood, you know
what it says? It says better things than that of Abel. Now
what did Abel's blood say? Justice. Abel's blood cried to
God from the ground and said, I want justice. Jesus' blood
says, I demand mercy. Mercy. Forgiveness. You get that? His blood demands
forgiveness. Why? Because He satisfied justice. God wouldn't be just if He did
not forgive according to the covenant that
He made with Himself, with Christ, for you. And even now, He's the
mediator of that covenant, isn't He? Why? Every time you ask for
forgiveness, what's happening? He is mediating on your behalf
for forgiveness. Now, does that not encourage
you? Is there any in that that doesn't encourage and strengthen
and give us hope and confidence? Oh, it should. If you're in Christ, you should
have a great hope. and nothing will stop God from
saving you. Why? My name's written in the
covenant. Made by God, with God, for God, and I'm included. May God bless this to your hearts.
