All right. Anyone have any idea
where I'm going to this morning? Maybe I'll preach on Song of
Solomon until I die. And if that's today, so be it. The Song of Solomon chapter two. The Song of Solomon chapter two. In this passage I'm going to
read, it's just two verses. The first two verses of Song
of Solomon, the Song of Solomon chapter two. In these two verses,
our Lord Jesus Christ speaks twice. He says this in verse
one, speaking about himself, he said, I am the rose of Sharon
and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, that's
where he talks about himself. Now, in verse two, Christ speaks
about those he loves. He doesn't speak about his love,
he speaks about his love. He's not loving the daughters
here, he's loving his love. So secondly, in the second verse,
Christ speaks about those he loves. So is my love among the
daughters. What I want to try to concentrate
on this morning is verse one. Christ speaking about himself
said, I am the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valleys.
Notice it is the lily of the valleys, it is not the lily of
the valley. I looked to see if we had that
song, we may do it, I couldn't remember the first line of it.
Doesn't really matter. The rose of Sharon, that's the
title of my message, the rose of Sharon. Two things, and I
will try to be brief, but that is not a promise, it's just fleeting
wish. Notice, first of all, that I
am is the Rose of Sharon. Now, I understand this. I have
done it myself before, but please don't come to me afterward and
say, well, I am's in italics. Those men who translated this
book probably knew a whole lot more about translating Hebrew
into English than I did, and they feel as though this needs
to be there, and it is also capitalized. But one thing about it, remember,
this is a book filled, just chopped full of metaphors. I am is always
a sound phrase. It's my first point. Notice that
I am is the Rose of Sharon. and I am is the lily of the valleys. If you miss that, you'll miss
everything else in these two verses. Christ himself is the
great I am. You hear it? Christ himself is
the great I am. He was not just a messenger come
from I am. He was I am manifest in the flesh. This has been said clearly and
plainly by the church for some 2,000 years now, and I believe
it has been said so clearly and plainly that we lose the gravity
of what is really being said here. I am is the rose of Sharon,
and I am is the lily of the valley. Now most people who've been taught
any at all from the scripture may even agree, yes, Christ is
the great I am. And they will say, yes, that
means that Jesus Christ, even the man, is the eternal, self-existent
God. Right? But what most people leave
out when they talk about the great I am, is that he's not
only the eternal, self-existent God, he is the eternal, self-existent,
sovereign deliverer who is God. Now turn back to Exodus. chapter
three. From my youth, I remember being
taught that I am is the name of God. I am that I am. And look at it in Exodus chapter
three, Moses asked the question, what's your name then? When I
go to these people and I stand before Pharaoh himself, who am
I going to say sent me? And God said unto Moses, I am
that I am. And he said, thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel, I am has sent me unto you. And I remember that from a child,
as far back as I can recollect, as I begin to think about it,
I understood this meant the eternal self-existent God. But what I
was rarely taught is this is said in the context of God Almighty
coming down to deliver a people absolutely and sovereignly from
their oppression and their bondage. Look at it. What is he going
to deliver from? He's going to deliver somebody
from affliction. You'll see that if you read this
chapter. He's going to deliver somebody from what? Their oppression
and their sorrows. Most people think of these things,
afflictions, sorrows, oppressions, in the things of this world,
things they don't have or things they'd like to have. This is
talking about in here. Everything that the children
of Israel went through physically is to teach us a lesson about
ourselves inside here. inside here, my greatest place
of affliction, my greatest place of sorrow, my greatest place
of oppression is the bondage that I have down inside my soul. God Almighty said, I will deliver. Look at what he said. Verse seven,
and the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people. Last part of verse seven, for
I know their sorrows. Look at the last part of verse
nine. The oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppressed them.
Don't think of the Egyptians as them out there. Think of the
Egyptians as me inside here. I would have no problem with
them out there if it wasn't for the Egyptians that live down
in here. Oftentimes we like to put these
things off somewhere else, as we'll see in more detail later.
Christ said, I am the rose of Sharon. I am the lily of the
valleys. And who were they to be delivered
by? The Lord. Verse eight, I am come down to
deliver them. Do you see that? I am come down
to deliver them. Do you see it? And God, verse
14, and God said unto Moses, who sent you? I am that I am. And he said, thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel, I am has sent me unto you. That lets me know when people
seen Moses, they were looking at I am. Because I am was his
spokesman. Now who is that finally personified
in His truth? That is Jesus Christ the Lord
Himself. He was the Word made flesh. I am the Lord. I am came to deliver. He came to deliver by power and
by blood. And you will see that referred
to. Look at what He says. In verse 16, the last part, I
have surely visited you. They didn't understand that he
had already visited them. I have surely visited you. Verse
17, and I have said, I will bring you up out. What does your salvation,
what does your dependence depend on? It depends upon God himself. Look, verse 18, he said, go to
the elders. And they shall hearken to thy
voice. Moses did not come to offer anything
to the people of Israel. That's right. Exactly. Moses came to tell the people
of Israel, God Almighty hath visited you, and he has come
down to deliver you out of the hands of the Egyptians. Amen. Verse 20, God says, and I will
stretch out my hand and smite Egypt with all my wonders, which
I will do in the midst thereof. And after that, talking about
Pharaoh, he will let you go. Now, he lets Moses know at the
first he won't do it, but once I pour out my wonders upon him,
he will let you go. How often is that taught in Sunday
schools when people hear that Jesus Christ is the great I Am? We may talk about him being the
eternal, self-existent God, but he's the eternal, self-existent,
sovereign deliverer of his people. That's who the I Am is. Isn't
it amazing that there were 10 plagues? You ever thought about that?
There were 10 plagues. There were 10 elders that set
the gates of the cities of Israel. What is all that indicative of?
God's holy law. And God's holy law must be poured
out before all to see. And it must be satisfied. Now
that's one illustration. Here's the second thing. What
was it that truly delivered the people of Israel? What was it? Blood. Amen. Blood. That was the tenth plague, wasn't
it? Death and blood. There was bloodshed and there
was death in every house in Egypt that night. Yes, sir. Amen. Either the firstborn son died,
or the firstborn animal died, or there was a firstling of the
flock that was offered in sacrifice for those within the house. Blood. Blood. This lets me know that
all the works of nature, the first nine plagues couldn't do
it. David Wright, it took blood. It took. blood. All the acts
of men, even those things in which men could imitate God did
not cause the deliverance to take place. It's when the blood
was shed that God passed over and God sent Israel out in deliverance
that day, having spoiled the Egyptians. Christ is the sovereign
deliverer. He told some people, I am. They said, who do you make yourself?
Go back and look at it. John chapter eight, verses 53
through 59. Read it for yourself. They said,
who do you make yourself? And then the next few verses
later, he said, before Abraham was, I am. And when he said that, they became
so angry, they wanted to kill him. Neil, I figure they understood
what he was saying. I am. Jesus Christ himself is
the sovereign deliverer. You remember in the garden, one
time, one time Jesus Christ displayed his absolute full sovereignty
over everything in a natural act. And that great crowd, that
great company of men came to arrest him. And they say, he
said, who are you looking for? They said, Jesus of Nazareth.
And he said, I am. And guess what happened to them?
They fell backwards. Joe, he could have left it right
there. But he gave them the power, David Wright, to stand back up
again and still arrest him. That was not him holding back
his sovereignty, that was him manifesting his sovereignty.
Because his sovereignty was in full force, even amidst it all. Never suppose that the deliverance
wrought by the rose of Sharon, and never suppose that the deliverance
wrought by the lily of the valleys can be thwarted by puny man. He is the I Am. Do you think
Pharaoh was gonna stop God from delivering Israel? That's a stupid
concept. That is a concept of the most
absolute, ultimate rebellion of unbelief. God manifests himself
with a powerful hand. I've seen the affliction. I've
seen the oppression of my people. I've come down to deliver them
and deliver them they shall be. And Jesus Christ said, I am that
I am. I am that one. And you remember what he said
in John chapter 10, verse 16, looking at some people who weren't
sheep, and looking at some other people who were sheep. And he
said, I know my sheep. He told some of them, you're
not my sheep. He told those same people who he said were not his
sheep. There are some here who are my
sheep. And he said, other sheep I have. which are not of this
fold, them also what? I must bring. Thank God, Roy
Jr., my salvation, if I'm ever to be saved, depends upon Jesus
Christ, the great I am himself. Them also I must bring, and there
shall be one fold. I'll join these sheep that are
here, he's saying about it, and I'll join another sheep, which
are not of this fold, and I'm gonna join them together in what?
One fold. and that foe would never be split
up again. Now you mark that, don't come to me and talk to
me about where there's an earthly Israel, God's out there still
to bless. God Almighty is blessing His people in Christ and in Christ
only. That's the way the law is. From
that time on, other sheep I have, which are not of this foe, them
also I must bring, and there shall be, how many foes? One
foe, how many shepherds? One shepherd. And that's all
they'll ever will be. If you're not a part of that
one fold, you'll never be a part of anything. Never be a part
of anything other than the damnation of God almighty. Next. Secondly,
notice that I am is the rose of Sharon. I am is the lily of the valleys
as the lily of the valleys. He's the lily of the valleys.
Does not that song say he's the lily of the valley. That's awful
limited. We ain't talking about one valley.
He's the lily of the valleys. In other words, Christ is the
epitome of all lilies in any valley. Do you see that? We're
not talking here about the lilies, just some special lily down in
one singular valley. He is the lily of the valleys. In other words, let me just sum
it up. Christ is all. That's not that hard to see there.
I didn't see it for years, Joe, because I was just blind. Dull. My eyes concentrating on something
else. Christ is the guarantee of all
our spiritual necessities. Go back and look at Romans chapter
eight, verses 28 through 34. And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to his purpose. And what is all this based upon?
Jesus Christ and him crucified. That's what it's all about. Jesus
Christ and him. He that spared not his own son. but delivered him up for us all. And the us all there is clearly
those that were foreknown, predestinated, called, justified, and glorified. He that delivered him up for
us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? So again, Christ is the guarantee
of all spiritual necessities. In Christ only is true unity
and singularity. Outside of Jesus Christ, we don't
have a lick of unity and singularity. Walk in the flesh for a moment,
you'll find that out. We'll be at one another's throats. Just
for a moment. In Christ Jesus, there is neither
male nor female. Not in the church. Well, think
about that. In Christ Jesus, there's neither
male nor female, bond nor free, rich or poor, none of that. In
Christ Jesus, that's the only place we find unity. We'll be
at one another's throats in the flesh no matter what and no matter
what we know about Jesus Christ. I had a man ask me at a conference
one time when he found out certain things about me. He said, well,
how do you find time to study? Now, you can ask my wife. It was not a serious question,
was it? It was like, how in the world
somebody like you could really study? Please pray that God will
give me the grace to say from now on, all I do is wing it when
I get up there. Yeah. Be wise as serpents and
harmless as a dove. How do you find time to study?
You know what? We can be at one. That man upset
me and part of me wanted to reach up and get him by the throat.
Oh yeah. Because you know what, that ain't the way it works.
That ain't the way it works. Our unity, our singularity is
only in Christ. And I can be in Christ whether
I'm meeting with you all or out there by myself somewhere. In
Christ is to be in Christ. It's not to be a part of the
assembly. Now if you're in Christ, you will desire to be a part
of an assembly. But you can be a part of an assembly
and not be in Christ. In Christ only is true unity
and singularity. And as soon as we begin to walk
in, not after, but in the flesh, we'll start butting heads. You
remember what Paul said? You be careful, be careful. Don't
use your liberty as an occasion to the flesh. You know why? Because
you'll end up devouring one another. That's what we do. Thirdly, Christ's
exaltation proves he rules over all things. He is all. He's the
lily of the valleys. Look at what this says. Turn
to Ephesians. And I know we here are familiar with this, but there's
a lot of people who are not familiar with this. Ephesians chapter
one, the apostle Paul is praying for these Ephesians. He said,
this is my prayer. Verse 15 of Ephesians one. Wherefore,
I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love
unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you making
mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit
of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him, the eyes
of your understanding being enlightened. He's talking to people who we've
just called the elect of God. Yes, sir. That's right. Predestinated
by God, but he said you still need your eyes opened up, right? the eyes of your understanding
being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of his
calling and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of his power
to us who believe according to the working of his mighty power
which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead and
set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places far above
what? All principality. power, and
I can add, because that all is a precedent in the Greek. It
is all principality, all power, all might, all dominion, and
every name that is named, not only in this world, but also
in that which is to come. When we get to glory, And Roy
Jr., we're there for the eons, for eternity. Nothing greater
than Jesus Christ will ever be discussed among us in that land. There's nothing greater even
when we get to glory. There's not gonna be some deeper
subjects about other universes. It's still gonna all be about
Jesus Christ, the great I Am. but also in that world which
is to come, and hath put all things under his feet, and give
him to be head over all things to the church. Therefore, let's
me know that anything we do, it ought to be done to the glory
and the honor of the person and work of Jesus Christ. Right? Whatever we do here in this place
is to be to the honor and the glory of the personal work of
Jesus Christ, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth
all in all. Truly Jesus Christ is the lily
of the valleys, but he also says he is the rose of Sharon. Now
I want to give you just, I'll try to be brief. This is going
to be no great big revelation. It may be something that you
and I cannot relate to in and of itself. But when I read about
this, the Rose of Sharon, if you look at a map of the Middle
East and you look at the land of Israel, I did not say the
land of Palestine. It is not the land of Palestine
anymore. It is the land of Israel. God
gave it to Israel. Okay? It's called the land of
Israel. Now granted it was split up and
then called Israel in the north and Judah in the south later
because of man's rebellion, but it's still the land of Israel.
But if you look, they say, they say, these people who know far
more than I do, that from Joppa, about halfway up on the coastline
from Joppa, All the way north to Mount Carmel is this vast,
fairly level, very fertile green plain. If you come out of the
West, you come through that mountain range that runs from Jerusalem
all the way up, curves over to the Mediterranean, right over
into the sea. And there's where Mount Carmel
is, jutting out into the Mediterranean. But if you come out of all of
that aridness on the West, Joe, and you begin to come through
that mountain range and start toward the coast from Joppa all
the way to Mount Carmel, you can see green everywhere. And
then these big blankets of yellow flowers. Can you imagine that
sight? Can you imagine what that was
like? And he says, I am the Rose of Sharon. Now I'm gonna give
you something that even the people in the days of Solomon would
not be able to get a hold of because we are almost 3,000 years
this side of when Solomon wrote this here. Speaking of Jesus
Christ, think about this. Christ says he is the Rose of
Sharon. This 50 mile long now. And don't, I measured it with
a ruler, so don't come to me and tell me, well, it's actually
55 or it's 45. You know, you wanna be that stupid,
then I'll just tell you, yeah, I just stood up here without
studying or anything. 50 miles long, 10 miles deep, this green
fertile plain from Joppa, this was the plain of Sharon. This
is where you would find the roses of Sharon, in the plain of Sharon. That makes enough sense, doesn't
it? 50 miles long, 10 miles deep, fertile plain from Joppa to Mount
Carmel. It was filled with these flowers.
All of that plain was. Whether you was on the Mediterranean
Sea, right down at sea level, when you began to approach that
shore, Joe, what could you probably see? Yellow flowers. All this
green and yellow flowers. If you was coming through that,
those arid mountains, and then as you got closer to the shore,
it became greener. and greener. Then you stood up on one of those,
what we call, one of those ridges and you looked out toward the
west, toward the Mediterranean. What did you see? All of this
green and all of these flowers. But this is said to take place,
these flowers are said to be from Joppa to Mount Carmel. Mount Carmel is where Elijah
stood against false prophets. Mount Carmel is where God Almighty
has His people stand against error no matter what. All of the government was against
Elijah, yet he stood for the truth of God. But all the way
from Mount Carmel to Joppa, you know where Joppa was? Joppa is
where Jonah fled to when he was going to find a boat to go to
Tarshish. Think about that. Christ is at
the center of it all. Glorious faith, here you see
it manifested at Mount Carmel. to trying to actually flee from
the presence of God. Down here in Chopper. You're
just kind of grabbing things. Oh no, think about it. Glorious
faith, Hebrews chapter 11. By faith, by faith, by faith. Does it not? Read it, read through
chapter, by faith. Glorious things can take place
by faith. And then what does chapter 12
speak about? having to be corrected of the
Lord. From Mount Carmel all the way
to Joppa. Whether you find yourself at
Carmel or you find yourself down in Joppa. Jesus Christ is the
Rose of Sharon. He's at the center of it all.
When we fail and need correction, it is our Father who loves us
that is correcting us. He's not banging on us because
we did wrong. He is correcting us because we've
done wrong. You see, Jesus Christ is center
to my greatest victories, Joe, and my utmost failures. Think about it again. A little
more recent from Joppa. What else happened at Joppa?
Joppa is where Peter was when he had that vision about that
sheet. Do you remember what that was concerning? That's concerning
the inclusion of every one of us here in this small group this
morning. Peter was getting that vision. I guess we're in Joppa
in the house of a Tanner. All the way to where? Mount Carmel,
where Elisha was headed when she bears feasted on three smart
mouth little kids. No, three she bears come out
of the woods, feasted on smart mouth kids and ate them alive.
Yeah, go back and read the Old Testament again. Elisha, Elisha
was headed to Mount Carmel. A bunch of smart-mouthed little
children, that's the Hebrew word, little ones. They come around
and said, go up. Yeah, he's going up to the mountain.
Go up, thou bald head. They were making fun of God's
message. And God Almighty sent three female
bears out of the woods, and them bears devoured those little kids. Christ is at the center of it
all. He is the rose of Sharon. You see, people don't want to
think about God in that light, those three she-bears being sent
out to feast on little kids. But that is the great I am. And
that is Jesus Christ himself. So whether it's from Mount Carmel
or to Joppa, whether you look north or south, Joe, if you're
looking over the plain of Sharon, what are you gonna see? The Rose
of Sharon. Whether you're in the east or the west, look either
way, what are you gonna see? The Rose of Sharon. He's at the
center of it all. I'm gonna sum that up, all this
up with reading one chapter. Turn to Isaiah, chapter 35. Isaiah, chapter 35. Do not think, let me just give
you a bit of advice here. Before I read this chapter, do
not be thinking of a piece of property over in Israel. I don't
care. You can go on in your mind all
day long about what you think is supposed, this is talking
about Jesus Christ. What you know about the person
and work of Jesus Christ right now today, there'll be nothing
else greater in the future to come that you will experience. If you don't understand that,
you're missing out on a great blessing now. I'll preface it,
don't be looking for a glorious thousand years, though a thousand
years will come, because in that thousand years, you will learn
of nothing more glorious than the person and work of Jesus
Christ. It ain't gonna be about a piece
of property you'll get. Now, in that light, listen to
Isaiah chapter 35. The wilderness and the solitary
place shall be glad for them. and the desert shall rejoice
and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly and
rejoice even with joy and singing. Now do you think a piece of property's
gonna actually sing? It's talking about people here. This is metaphorical of God's
people here. We're the wilderness. We're the
solitary. And as the lily among thorns,
as Christ is among the thorns, so are those he loves among the
daughters. Look at it. It shall blossom
abundantly and rejoice even with joy in singing. The glory of
Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel. There's
the mountain we're talking about. And what? Shad. You see it? They, they! Is it talking about a piece of
property? They, it's all about people. They shall see the excellency
of our God. What is that? That's Christ. Listen, strengthen ye the weak
hands. and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are fearful
of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not. Behold, your God will
come with vengeance, even God with a recompense. He will come
and what? Save you. You see that? In other words, even when Jesus
Christ came at his first advent, he didn't come. as a poor little
milk-sop dishrag to be walked all over by men and women. He
was born king he lived king, he died king, he was raised king,
he ascended king, and he now sits at the right hand of God
the Father as king, and one day he will come again, he will descend
again, and he will then show who is king of kings and lord
of lords. Look at it. Then the eyes of
the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be
unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap
as a heart, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For in the wilderness
shall waters break out, and streams in the desert, and the parched
ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of waters,
in the habitation of dragons, where each lay shall be grass,
and reeds, and rushes." Folks, that's what it is whenever you
hear the gospel preached. You are experiencing that right
there. Now how can I say that? Because our Lord told the disciples
of John the Baptist when they came to ask Jesus if he was truly
the Messiah, what did he tell them to go back and say to John?
You've seen the lame walk. You've seen the blind see. Right? You've even seen the dead
raise to life again. And you've seen the poor have
what? The gospel preached unto them. What you're hearing me do this
morning, what you heard Joe Galusik do this morning is just as miraculous
as if you'd have seen somebody raise a dead man from the ground
out here this morning. Do you see that? Christ puts
that having the poor have the gospel, the poor have the gospel
preached to them. Joe, he puts it in that list
of those great miracles, a blind man receiving his sight. And
yet we become so accustomed to it and so dull to it. It's, well,
we're going to church Sunday to hear the gospel. This is like
seeing a dead person raised every day you hear it preached. You
put that CD in, I know it's not the same as being here, but you
put that CD in and you're hearing the gospel of Christ preached.
It's like hearing about a blind man getting his sight back. It's like seeing a lame man get
his legs back and be able to leap like a heart. And again,
I say, when you get to glory, whether it's for a thousand years
or the eternal state to come thereafter, you will never hear
anything more glorious than what you're hearing today about Jesus
Christ, person and work. There will be no greater subject
for us to discuss then, than that subject right there. That
God was made flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels,
believed on in the world. Look at it. And then highway
shall be there, and a way, and a way, and it shall be called
the way of holiness. And let me tell you, that's not
your holiness or mine. He is, there shall be bales on
the horses, Isaiah, I think, one of them says. And what are
they gonna be? Holiness to the Lord. Do you think that's you?
Are you that bale? No, Christ is that bale. He's
the rose of Sharon. He's the lily of the valley.
He was the bales that was on the bottom of the high priest's
garment. He's the pomegranates. He's the
garment Joe. He's the breastplate. He's the
miter. He's the tabernacle. He's all
the implements. He's all the sacrifices. He's
the bread. He's everything. He's everything. It should be called the way of
holiness. The unclean shall not pass over
it. Now, how are you going to get
from that state? That's got to be a matter of a declaration
by God because I am unclean. You are unclean. Look at it. But it shall be for those, the
wayfaring, those fools. That describes me quite well.
Shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any
ravenous beast shall go up thereon. It shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there. There's your hope. There you
come all the way back to blood again. You see it? All the way
back to blood again. The redeemed shall walk there. How am I holy? God Almighty redeemed
me to Himself. How am I righteous? God Almighty
redeemed me by the blood of His Son. How am I sanctified? God Almighty redeemed me by the
blood of his Son. And the ransomed of the Lord
shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy
upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. When's the only time
you really get any kind of respite from this world? Even from yourself. Isn't it when you're hearing
the truth of the personal work of Christ proclaimed? That's
the only time. I'm a preacher of the gospel,
been trying to preach this for 35 years. David Wright, when
I'm by myself and I'm thinking about myself, I have no peace
or joy at all. But when God Almighty gives me
a little glimpse of Jesus Christ, I can't even find hope in you
all. I love being with you all, but I can't find hope in you
all. I find no hope in here. I find no hope out there. My
hope and your hope right now, right at this present moment,
is seated at the right hand of God the Father. And that's why
I figure Paul put it this way, set your affection on things
above, what you really love. Because everything in this world,
your family member, your blood kin, people you care about, people
you shed tears for, hold onto them lightly, because God one
day will rip it all out of your hands. And if you don't have
Jesus Christ as the bearing of your soul, then you'll be lost
forever. When he takes it all from you, when he takes this
from us, one of these days we're gonna lose this. One of these
days this assembly, apart from the return of Christ, this is
gonna cease to be. There's not a one of those old
assemblies you read about in this book, there's not a one
of them standing today. One of these days we'll lose
everything here, the only thing that matters is where Christ
sitteth as the right hand of God the Father. Isn't that what
it's all about? That's what it's all about. Father,
oh God help us to center our affections on things above and
not on things of this earth. Help us Lord, help us all. Forgive
us of our sins give us a refreshing in Christ Jesus. It's in His
name I ask. Amen.
