Can true believers lose their salvation?

The assurance of salvation is a key element of the gospel. In John 6:39, Jesus promises that He will lose none of those given to Him by the Father. This guarantee is rooted in the efficacy of Christ’s atoning work, which secures the salvation of all who believe. Additionally, Romans 8:38-39 assures us that nothing can separate believers from the love of God. Therefore, while believers may struggle with sin, their salvation remains secure because it depends on Christ's faithfulness, not their performance.
