How can believers find their confidence?

Answered in 1 source

Believers find their confidence by looking to Jesus Christ, recognizing Him as their sole hope and righteousness.

The confidence of a believer is anchored in the person and work of Jesus Christ. According to the writer of Hebrews, the just live by faith, continually reliant upon Christ’s righteousness and His redemptive work. This means that their confidence does not stem from personal experiences, moral efforts, or religious practices but is rooted in the assurance that Jesus has satisfied divine justice on their behalf. Believers are called to rest completely in Christ, forsaking all else, which is the essence of true faith - relying solely on Him, who is their only source of hope and salvation.
