How can we be equipped for good works according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are equipped for good works through the grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

In 2 Timothy 3:17, it is written that the man of God may be complete and furnished for every good work. This equipping does not come from our efforts, but rather through God's grace and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. When we are regenerated, God provides us with spiritual life and the necessary tools to serve Him effectively. As believers, we are empowered by the promises of God to reflect His goodness in our actions, not as the cause of our salvation but as the evidence of His transformative work in our lives.
