How can we find comfort during hard times?

Answered in 1 source

We find comfort during hard times by resting in the promises of God and His Word.

In times of difficulty, believers are encouraged to look to God as the ultimate source of comfort. The Lord promises to extend peace like a river, as expressed in Isaiah 66:12, illustrating His nurturing and compassionate nature towards His people. When distress arises, we are called to remember the Gospel, which is the good news of Christ's finished work that provides eternal consolation. It is through His Word, prayer, and sometimes the support of fellow believers that we can experience the peace that surpasses understanding, as He upholds us with His righteous right hand.
