How can we know if we are among God's chosen people?

Answered in 1 source

Those who earnestly seek salvation God's way as revealed in the Scriptures can have assurance of being God's elect.

Assurance of being among God's chosen people comes from a sincere desire to seek and find righteousness in Christ. As mentioned in the sermon, if an individual is genuinely looking for salvation according to God's method rather than their own works, they demonstrate a heart inclined towards God. The question is not merely about election but about one's response to the gospel. Paul states that the gospel must not only come in word, but also in power, indicating that a true belief will be accompanied by a transformative response. Thus, a desire for the truth of the gospel and reliance on Christ for righteousness is a sign of being part of God's chosen ones.
