How do we know Christ's victory is certain?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's victory is certain because He has already defeated Satan at the cross, ensuring that evil cannot ultimately prevail.

The certainty of Christ's victory is grounded in His accomplished work on the cross. In Revelation 12:9, it is stated that Satan was cast out and his power was nullified by Christ through His sacrificial death. Believers can rest assured that the victory over sin, death, and Satan has been fully realized in Jesus. As stated in Romans 8:31-34, if God is for us, who can be against us? Thus, while the spiritual warfare continues and Satan may hound the church, the final outcome has been predetermined by God's sovereign decree. This assurance enables believers to face trials with confidence, knowing that Christ will bring to completion the work He began in us.
