How do we know God is with us in death?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us that God is with His people, even as they face death, providing comfort and courage.

In moments of transition, especially facing death, Christians can take comfort in God’s promise to be present with us. Psalm 23:4 reassures us that as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear, for God’s presence is our comfort. This divine companionship gives believers strength to confront the unknown aspects of death, trusting in God's goodness and mercy. Furthermore, the knowledge that we are moving to our Father’s house, a place prepared for us, reinforces our faith in God’s sustaining grace through all aspects of life, including the final journey of death.
