How do we know Jesus's death accomplished salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus’s death accomplished salvation because it fully satisfied God's justice and secured the redemption of His people.

The accomplished work of Christ on the cross is fundamental to the Gospel. According to Isaiah 53, His travail (suffering) resulted in satisfaction: "He shall see of the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied" (Isaiah 53:11). This indicates that the payment for sin was completed in His death, which is the cornerstone of justification for believers.

Through the shedding of His blood, Christ paid the penalty for sins and secured forgiveness for all for whom He died. Romans 5:9 confirms this, stating that we are justified by His blood and saved from wrath. The assurance of this is seen in the fact that all for whom He died will eventually come to faith, demonstrating that His sacrifice was not in vain but was effective and intentional with a guaranteed outcome.
