How do we know Jesus' sacrifice brings healing?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus’ sacrifice is described as a healing balm for believers, with His suffering bringing spiritual healing and restoration.

Scripture teaches that Jesus is referred to as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals us (Exodus 15:26). His stripes, borne for our transgressions, provide the healing we need for our spiritual diseases (1 Peter 2:24). This means that through His death and resurrection, not only are our sins forgiven, but we are also spiritually restored. When we face bitter experiences in life, it is the sweet knowledge of His sacrifice that can transform our trials into avenues of grace, leading us closer to Him. This understanding allows believers to find comfort in the gospel, knowing that Jesus' work on the cross is sufficient to heal and sustain us in our difficulties.
