How do we know judgment is certain for everyone?

The certainty of judgment is laid out in Hebrews 9:27, which states, 'it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.' Every soul will return to God for judgment, where it will be determined if we have been covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
