How do we know justification is through Christ alone?

Answered in 1 source

Justification is exclusively through Christ's righteousness, as God charges our sins to Him while declaring us righteous by faith.

The doctrine of justification teaches that no one can claim righteousness on their own. Job acknowledges his lack of perfection and emphasizes that the only righteousness acceptable to God is that which comes from Christ. In Romans 8:33, Paul states that God justifies the elect, emphasizing that this justification is based solely on the righteousness of Christ, which is imputed to believers by faith. Through His obedience and sacrifice, Jesus satisfies the demands of God's justice, confirming that our only standing before God stems from Him, not from our works.
