How do we know salvation is obtainable through Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is obtainable through Christ because He fulfilled the law and paid the penalty for our sins by His death.

Salvation is rooted in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, who came into the world to obey the law perfectly and to satisfy its demands on behalf of sinners. As depicted in Isaiah, Jesus is both the servant who fulfills God’s covenant promises and the sacrificial lamb who bears the sins of His people. The apostle Paul affirms this by stating that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. His resurrection confirms the victory over sin and death, assuring all who believe that they are justified before God. Therefore, the faith of God's elect finds solace in the completed work of Christ, who has provided a way of salvation that is both gracious and effective.
