How do we know that Christ is both God and Savior?

Answered in 1 source

The Scriptures declare Christ as God incarnate and reveal His dual role as both Creator and Redeemer.

The New Testament clearly presents Christ as God manifested in the flesh, as affirmed in John 1:1, 14, where He is called the Word, indicating His divine nature. Hebrews 1:8 also emphasizes this truth by stating that God addresses Jesus as God. Furthermore, His role as the Savior is evident through His incarnation, where He not only created the world but also came into it to redeem His people from sin, showcasing His ability to save those who believe in Him.
