How do we know that Christ is our source of righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fulfills the law and provides righteousness through His life and atonement, making Him our sole source of justification.

The Bible teaches that Christ, as the Son of Righteousness, is the source of all righteousness for His people. In fulfilling the law and satisfying divine justice on the cross, He becomes the embodiment of righteousness that believers are credited with. As stated in Romans 5:1, through faith in Christ, we are justified, meaning we are declared righteous before God. This righteousness is not of our own making but is imputed to us through faith, demonstrating that our standing before God is solely based on Christ's perfect work. Without Christ, no one can attain the righteousness required to enter God's presence, thus highlighting the necessity of faith in Him alone.
